Job Description
Pirates are generally all about getting that booty, stealing from others with little care about what all those riches were meant to be used for. It's also pretty obvious that not everyone can be a pirate. So you all should be put to a test where you'll be able to prove everyone that you are worthy of the status, and your place within Black Sails! We got a word that there should be a caravan heading through the Mysterious canyon, carrying all kinds of goods. Your job is to stop this caravan, sneak past or defeat all the guards and steal whatever is inside. It probably won't be all that much, but thanks to that, it's not exactly all that well guarded. Now, what are you waiting for? You better hurry, or you'll miss your chance!
Enemies
Weak - Unarmed guard
This guy was freshly hired and this is his first task on the job. They are highly inexperienced and don't even carry any weapons, since they can't be trusted with them. They go down in a single D-ranked attack or well aimed melee attack to a weak point. They also might just give up and surrender if they sense a mage of B-rank or higher. They try to fight back with bare fists, but they're pretty clumsy and slow, so you should have no trouble avoiding those attacks. But if they do hit you, they deal half of a D-rank damage.
Normal - Guard with a sword
These have been in this line of work for a while now, so they won't go down as easily. They use swords of all kinds, straight, curved, one-handed and two-handed, depends on your imagination really. Their hits deal D-ranked damage and they are pretty fast with their weapons, so close-ranged combat is not advised unless it's your specialization. They go down after being hit with two D-ranked spells worth of damage and won't ever give up, trying to defend the caravan with their lives.
Strong - Long ranged guard
Equipped with whatever long ranged weapon you decide to give him, this guy has a very good eye sight and will constantly look all around the canyon, trying to spot anything that could be of danger to the caravan. Their attacks will deal 1.5 D-ranked damage if they hit, but they can only attack if you're far enough. Once you get close, they will become rather helpless, though they will still try to fight with their fists that deal half of D-rank damage. They go down in 5 D-ranked attacks and are pretty slow in most of their actions.
Boss - Hired mercenary
You got some bad luck right there! Seems like they hired a skilled mercenary to protect the cargo. This guy has some real experience and uses Earth magic that will deal C-ranked damage to you. Thanks to this magic, he's pretty resilient as well, capable of tanking 10 whole D-ranked spells before going down. He's pretty fast and will aggressively try to take you down as fast as he possibly can, so good luck!
Reward
Proof that you're a good pirate. You will also receive something called "Blackbeard's doubloon" for all the stolen goods, an item that you can use once to gain double Jewels from another D-ranked job at the cost of gaining no XP from that job.
