The Beggining(private, mark)

Moto was walking through rose garden when she had gotten an idea. Bringing out her guitar, she sat on a street corner and began strumming a tune while singing a song that was both sad and sweet in some ways. the girl had perked up from the moment she started playing her music, her big blue eyes wide and happy. Her face seemed to glow with joy as she played her music, and she had relaxed from her usual stiff posture. A small crowd had begun gathering around the young girl, and one man had even joined in her song. As she played, she closed her eyes and smiled that secret smile she got when she was playing.

Moto's Song:

Motoaka looked up at the boy who had spoken, startled. She hadn't been paying attention to much of anything, and had been rather startled to hear a voice asking for an encore. But... they were asking her to play more music, so how could she resist? "Sure... a new song then... oh I got it." She quickly organized her thoughts and launched into a new song. This one was different, but still just as sad yet sweet at the same time. The girl was smiling happily once more as she played her song, enjoying the music.

Encore:

Motoaka finished up the song and took a deep breath. As much as she loved singing, it sure took a lot out of her sometimes. "So, what did you think?" asked the girl with a breathless smile. "Usually I play more... well, intense songs. But I figured this crowd would appreciate a more gentle song." It was true, she usually did tend towards more intense songs than these. She used them all the time In her magic, it was rather a common sight to see her playing intensely. But even when she was playing gentle music, there was something different about the way she played. The girl shivered slightly, a chill breeze springing up. She wasn't used to the cold. Finally, she decided to introduce herself. "My name's Moto. Motoaka En'arr."

Motoaka wasn't all that impressed by the party trick, her own magic was more flashy. "Cool," was all she said before she stood up, her own guitar dissapearing. "But mine is much more flashy." Added the girl as she spun in a simple circle for effect, a flash of light surrounding her as a Microphone appeared in her hands, a bright gold one that could easily blow people back with it's incredible power. "Watch this, amateur musician." Commanded the girl, blue eyes now full of amusement. It was then that she began singing, a faint blue glow surrounding her. But then her voice really began taking off, and that was when it happened. Angling her face upwards as she sang, sound waves that appeared to be on fire shoot upwards, exploding in the sky to create dazzling effects.

"Ha. You actually think that was all I could do?" Asked the girl with a small snort. Microphone in hand, she first sang a lyric which would harden her skin, making it sparkle like a diamond. The next lyric she would sing would bounce a sound waves off a nearby window, to come back at her just as hard. At the last second she would shoot another sound wave, neutralizing the first and creating an explosion that wreathed her in smoke. Her sparkling skin combined with the smoke created a fantastic effect, as a crowd started to gather.

"Fine, fine, maybe you win. Though to be fair, I'm still a fairly new wizard, you quite obviously are not." Motoaka giggled as she said this, covering her mouth with one hand. The girl wasn't easily impressed, but Mark knew how to put on a show to be sure. "Impressive when someone can outdo me on a performance though. Not many have done that before." Motoaka stuck out her hand for Mark to shake, acknowledging her defeat with as much grace as she could. She truly was impressed, someone who was able to outperform her was definitely interesting... her magic made her a born performer after all. She was made to entertain. As she smiled in a manner she had never really done before, her blue eyes twinkled with the same light that came into her eyes while performing, competing was a great deal of fun, and they had drawn something of a crowd.
