The Guild Focus
We are sky pirates! What we do is to not only line our pockets with the jewels of the rich but also to become stronger as mages and people. We are a merry band of men and women who seek an adventure whether it is grand-piracy of the sky and seas to treasure hunting in ruins of old. We sing shanties, drink, and be merry. We are brothers and sisters at arms while we travel across the sky in search for adventure and booty!
We don't have any political affiliation, that isn't our thing. We don't care what happens, as long as we get what we consider to be ours. IF we are feeling charitable, we will give to those less fortunate, the ones that the rich have taken advantage of. However, the majority of what we commandeer is ours and ours alone! We share what we get evenly among ourselves.
Power and jewels is what we want! Sure, we will help protect the realm from the evil-doers and those that want to trample on our loot, but don't expect us to come running as the saviors that this world doesn't need. We are also not villains; we will not kill needlessly. Just don't stand in the way between us and the loot and everything will be JUST FINE and dandy!

So yes, we also do quite a bit of adventuring as well! Don't forget that part! Thieves don't adventure, but Pirates do! Yarrrrrr!

1: A member of Black Sails may not take from another member of Black Sails.
2: If a member of Black Sails is showing signs of betrayal, they will be banished from the guild.
3: Members are allowed to take titles such as Coming Storms, Sinners, Rising Stars, Saints, if they wish but are asked to be mindful on how it effects the guilds story/plot.
4: Everyone is equal within Black Sails . No member will get better treatment than the rest. Everyone has the same living space and everyone gets the same amount of loot. However, those who put in the most work will receive additional compensation for their work.
5: Squabbles will be dealt with in any fashion necessary. Once a squabble has been settled, that will be the end of that dispute.
6: We do not kill innocent people. We will not be seen as barbarians.
7: Never betray your brothers and sisters of Black Sails .
8: Welcome all new-comers into the guild. Nothing is worse to a new buccaneer than to not feel like part of a family.

OOC Expectations:
There are a few things that are expected from our guild members as well, OOC. Not asking for much, but these are the things I would like to see in the guild:
+ If someone posts a Guild Intro, the guild ought to jump in on the intro and welcome the new person. Everyone should feel welcome when they join the Black Sails! So pile in and show them some of our hospitality!
+ RP together! We're here on an RP forum, so be sure to RP with one another! Whether it be in the Siren's Song, in the Dream Room, or out in the wide world. RP together as if you were all family and everyone will have a good time! :D
+ Do jobs together! Yup, a family that drinks and steals booty together also get strong together. So be sure to do jobs with your brothers and sisters in the guild so they, too, can get strong alongside you.
+ Guild Events. I'm going to try my best to ensure we have guild events every so often. Most of the guild events I want to do involves other guilds to encourage Guild-to-Guild interaction. Staying active during these events would make things run much smoother and things run so much better!
+ Input. If there's something you'd like to see in the guild, let us know! Make sure you post [OOC] in the topic title! These kinda titles, we should jump in on and put in our 2 cents. But be civil during these discussions too guys! Coming to a middle-ground could make everyone happy in the end and that's all I want for you guys!
