Ahote's Relations

Kanix Laspor

Ahote's Mother, Kanix has raised Ahote from birth. Both Ahote and Kanix have a strong relationship unable to be broken. A strong woman, Kanix is the current Guild Master of Fairy Tail, located on the planet Tetsukazu. Although when her pregnancy was revealed, she seemed troubled and distraught, with the support and empowerment of her friends and family, she had come to accept it as is and raise him as the Mother she is.

A little bit more insight on Kanix, she was originally apart of the Basilisk Fang ranks but later joined Fairy Tail under the influence of Heero, the former Guild Master of Fairy Tail who died at a young age to a vicious beast. She is a strong willed woman who values her relations above all else.

Aging into adolescence, Ahote no longer refers to Kanix as his Mother, but simply as Kanix, or his biological Mother. It was a process from him to shift that name from her to Famine, but months going by her absence since him being taken away to Basilisk Fang, his once very present love and affection for Kanix morphed into a bittersweet memory, and now feels nothing put shame, anger, and disgust when her name crosses his mind. Why? Although he may never find out, he knew she stopped looking for him. He wasn't a planned pregnancy, after all. Maybe it was a relief to her? Ahote didn't and wouldn't know, but now associates her with resentment.

Jaeger Nekros Krüger

Ahote's biological Father, Jaeger has never been present in Ahote's childhood except once when they met for the first time. Jaeger and Ahote have an awkward relationship, as Kanix and he no longer identify as a couple, and Jaeger being associated with infamous alignments such as Grim Heresy (Unknown the the public), a former Sleeping Forest wizard, now working with the Garou Knights. Jaeger appears to have other priorities rather than Ahote, and vice versa. However, the first time they met, not only was Jaeger's appearance different, his expected reaction differed as well. Instead of uncaring and cold, Jaeger had given Ahote a gift and treated him affectionately for the day they spent together.

Jaeger, sometimes going by Nekros, often appears lax or laid back. He does value his friends deeply and will often try his hardest to see them smile and be happy, even if it comes at the cost of his own feelings. While his manner might be found irksome by some, he really does have best interests at heart. However, he doesn't have any malicious intent and complex machinations or cook up schemes to manipulate people to his advantage. It's all a bit of good fun.

Aging into adolescence, Ahote thinks of his Father very little and addresses him as a man who never took the time of day to get to know him besides one brief instance. Although he does not view him with emotions such as anger and sadness, he does not think highly of him, and the memory of him is bittersweet. With him accepting his new life at Basilisk Fang, Ahote is no longer interested in getting to know him, and instead feels nothing at his mention.

Heero Reyold

Ahote's Uncle Figure, Heero Reyold was the former Guildmaster of Fairy Tail before he died a grieving death to a foolish battle with a much more powerful monster. Kanix, Ahote's mother, succeeded him afterwards as a series of troubling events followed them, causing them to relocate in Tetsukazu, officially branded as a Dark Guild.

Heero, much like the Father he never had, has always looked out for Ahote when need be. To Ahote, Heero has always been his idol and aimed to be like him one day. He sees him more as his Heero and proudly claims that he is his Uncle, despite how misleading it can be to their relationship. Loud and proud, Heero redeems to be passionate about his friends and family and sacrifices just about anything to secure their future. He held great pride in his name and guild, and had good relationships with people all over.

Aging into adolescence, Ahote's adoration and aspiration of Heero faded into nothing more than a pleasant memory of a man he used to know, and often times feels nothing when reminiscing that memory. May he rest in peace.

Famine Rita Stoborn

Ahote's adoptive Mother. Cold, cruel, heartless. There are many dark words that people use to identify Famine. Ahote's adoptive Mother, the two first met when Ahote secretively left his home in Magnolia in order to explore the deeper parts of the East Forest of which he was forbidden to venture in. Because of his realization that he and his parents did not spend as much time as he wanted to with him because of jobs, he figured that in order to close that gap, he must become stronger, strong enough to accompany Kanix on jobs. And what better way to do that than to fight the bad guys in a forest? Or that's what Ahote thought. Ahote took nothing but his stuffed animal and a picture of Kanix into the woods with him before getting lost for three days without food or water.

Malnourished and on his breaking point, Famine found him slumped against a tree. She then decided to take him to Mt. Hakobe, where the Basilisk Fang fortress was located, several towns away from his home. Awakening in dirty infirmary, Ahote finds himself in a place he has never been before. This is also the place where Ahote and Famine introduce themselves. After being told what happened, Ahote felt a spike of gratitude and asked what he could do to return the favor. Famine requested that she stay there with them, the Basilisks, and took him in not only as her child, but her protege.

After that, Famine and Ahote spent vast amounts of time together, creating the ideal mother-son relationship. Famine revealing more affectionate sides to her, grew attached to Ahote. The same goes for Ahote. The two cherished each other deeply despite Famine's reputation and Ahote's heritage. The irony of Famine and Kanix's bad relationship did not effect Famine and Ahote's in the early stages of their bond. As Ahote aged into adolescence, his affection and adoration for Famine remained, but his growing frustration over her keeping secrets now contributes to many of his emotional dilemmas, leaving him feeling ornery towards Famine. Ahote never addresses his issues directly with her, but often times seems more moody than he did before.

Developing further into adolescence, secrets between Ahote and Famine begin to unravel, and both begin to share the heavy weight of maintaining the guild and each other. But with the betrayal of Sol, Yuiisai, and others, Famine had been terribly fazed. In showing weakness and revealing her awfully reliant relationship with Sol, Ahote began to look down on her and feel an obligation to "take care of her."

Sol ???

Ahote's adoptive Father, Sol first meets Ahote when he wakes up in the infirmary. Ahote, at first feared Sol deeply, and still does. He has always been menaced by him, despite Sol's efforts to ease him and their relationship. However, Sol has taken interest in Ahote more so because Famine had. They never really spent time together, unless Sol approached him. More because of training or lessons or something along those lines.

Because of Sol's history with Fairy Tail, a lot of that hatred fueled his passion and will to teach Ahote how to fight. However, one day, when Sol had brutally beaten Ahote as a result of training, Ahote's magic triggers and backfires, causing Ahote's arm to result in amputation. As Ahote aged, Sol became a much more prominent individual in his life, his once indifference developing into a respect and determination to have his Father acknowledge and respect him as a growing man as opposed to a child. Unfortunately, Ahote's growing resentment for the villagers who bully and belittle him leads to his current confusion of his eagerness to have Sol acknowledge him and hatred for other things. He now addresses Sol negatively and blames him for part of the trouble he is having emotionally. Hopefully, things will turn out for the better, and Ahote will be able to differentiate eagerness and frustration.

Further into his adolescence, Sol and his associates had left Basilisk Fang for a new life, deeming them as traitors. There was little information given to Ahote about such events besides the minimal amount of details, and holds great contempt for his Father, and wishes suffering upon him for his traitorous behavior. And though he resents him, strangely enough, he still holds a child's love for him.

Natsuzora

Ahote's childhood friend, Natsuzora is the one friend he had when no one else was available. Meetin Ahote when he was still in Fairy Tail, the two would meet in secret to have picnics and games. Although Natsu seemed distant to Ahote at first, the two quickly became attached to one another over the course of several weeks spending time with one another. After Ahote had been taken to Basilisk Fang, the two didn't see each other. Natsu's history with Basilisk Fang, Fairy Tail, and Infinity Hydra are a mystery to Ahote. Her whereabouts are still unknown to Ahote till the very present. Presently, Natsuzora no longer crosses his mind, and is only a briefly recalled memory.

Rain Diabolus

Ahote's guildmate, a tall, ghostly pale woman with long, black hair and a fine taste in fashion and wine. Ahote first meets this woman in a cabin at the foot of Mt. Hakobe, where he goes to pick up a requested item for safekeeping. Beyond that, he and the woman he refers to as a 'ghost', have never interacted more than they needed to. Why? Because Ahote has a strong fear for her, and does his best to avoid her. Her lurking about the Basilisk Fang fortress at night, speaking through the mind or through her familiars, and resembling that of a ghost in Midian Folktales leaves Ahote uncomfortable just by her mention in a conversation.

Although he does not dislike her, it will take time getting use to her appearance... let alone people in general. Rain acts indifferently towards him despite his being frightened of her, and refers to him like a child, this being unknown to Ahote. Their relationship? Pending upon change.

Yuiisai ???
Alternative Appearance
Ahote's guildmate and Father's alleged serviceman, according to Ahote's reasoning. Ahote first meets this individual in a cabin at the foot of Mt. Hakobe together with another acquaintance, Rain, where he goes to fetch a product that he had requested and had been placed there for safekeeping.

The first interaction he engages in with Yuiisai is a brief demand for him to leave Basilisk territory at once, not realizing who he was in relation to his adoptive Father, Sol. Despite this rough start, Yuiisai would, in what Ahote would consider, shower him in kindness and thoughtfulness as a series of lectures and friendly advice would begin upon their meeting. Because of the extensive period without kindness that Ahote endured, he had been greatly impacted by Yuiisai's behavior and immediately grew attached and interested in him.

The two would later create a better understanding of one another after a sudden late-night visit on Ahote's part, and his fascination, or supposed crush, on Yuiisai deepens as trust and comfort begin to become foundations of their relationship. Friends? Maybe. I-like-the-guy-who-serves-my-Daddy? Definitely.

Although, he still finds it hard to interact with him as comfortably as he does with his adoptive parents.

Hera Reyold

Ahote's cousin through Kanix's friendship with Heero. Ahote briefly met Hera during her confrontation with Sol and Famine in the Basilisk Fang fortress. At the time, Ahote was far too young (age seven) and ignorant understand the nature of the meeting and her relationship with his parents. Despite this, Ahote was eager to get to know her and referred to her as his older sister, attaching his feelings of adoration and aspiration of Heero with his daughter.

These feelings were brief, however. Aging into adolescence, like Heero, he became indifferent towards her, having never seen her again. Although he does not feel ill towards her, he does not seem to hold the same feelings for her as he did before. When she crosses his mind, however, does become curious of her whereabouts.
