Guild Overview: The Katame Syndicate is a Mafia-structured guild set out to achieve their goal of creating an utopian world of anarchy and wealth, and plans to achieve this through by creating a criminal empire. - Including the usage of secret societies, terrorism, scandalous business contracts, and acts of violence. A typical gang-like group with a wishful ambition. But what dwells within this guild is hidden in shadows. A sequence of secret societies to produce a specific result in each one. Some more brutal and unethical than others. Gaining wealth through scandalous actions and raiding places or people in their name.
The Katame Syndicate values the loyalty of their members. As long as one is enlisted under the Don’s name, they are sworn to loyalty. Members display this loyalty through carrying out the shifting mission of Organization IV. To create an utopian world of anarchy by replacing the one currently implemented with a criminal empire.
Guild Description: Originally from the plains of Tetsukazu, Nidhogg head to Earthland in the interest of observing mankind from a closer perspective under the influence of others who trespassed Tetsukazu. And after confronting and defeating a pathetic gang of hooligans, Nidhogg took the opportunity to take advantage of the situation and formed what is now recognized as a guild.
An organization of criminals and nobodies, the Katame Syndicate is nothing but a violent mafia… but with an evergreen ambition. What is this ambition? Perhaps a common goal that many wish to reach; to create an utopian world of anarchy and infinite wealth. For true pleasure is found in a world without restraint and with plenty jewels for those who deserve it. Six months ago, the third Don of the Organization was slain and replaced by the current one, Nidhogg (Buy goes by Lincoln N. Aurence), as he began to rebuild the petty gang of hooligans from the ground up in order to achieve this utopian world. Disguising themselves and hiding away in smaller towns, the Katame Syndicate plots from the shadows in an everyday place and commit their crimes anonymously. Under their own aliases, the guild’s, or the current Don’s fake name in order to conceal their existence.
However, the Katame Syndicate still operates like an Eastern Mafia. Few rankings but not spread out too thinly. They value loyalty and honor to the guild’s name, seeing others as more like brethren than underlings. To preserve the guild’s hidden status and to respect their laws is above all else. Despite their very cruel and violent ways to achieve their utopian world, establishing a comrade-relationship with fellow guildmates is encouraged in order to produce the best results during their actions; such as raids, proclaimed terrorist attacks, and scandalous business contracts.
Why choose violence over peace? Nidhogg, the current Don, has the sticking concept that violence is engraved in human nature, as war is apart of their culture. Because of that thinking, committing violent crimes, such as homicide (including murder and manslaughter), terrorism, and armed robbery, produces radical outcomes only as radical as the crime. In hopes that forcing the world to shut down and recreate itself into this utopian world, Nidhogg has reestablished this syndicate to bring a notable amount of planned discord and distraught to the world in order to force change for their version of a greater good. A world of infinite wealth and anarchy, true freedom, without the prying eyes of any Council, that is the ideal vision for the Katame Syndicate.
People from all across the world, if even in this world, would gather in this hidden society to work their way up in the food chain in order to completely destroy it. Control and a superior body as we know it. To rid of the concept completely. By exploiting these forbidden things in Earthland and creating the ultimate Criminal Empire, the new utopia is bound to come with hard work and fanatical dedication. Nidhogg adopts those without purpose and gives them one, taking in the no good-doers and and make them do some real good, to inherit the burden the Magic Council and other law enforcement bodies have created and truly free himself and others from the binding chains of humanity. Call it communism, or a world of chaos, but these are the ideals of the Katame Syndicate.
Guild Creed: ”Sacrifice yourself and others for a greater good,” - One of the group mentalities is the will to sacrifice with or without hesitation for the success of the mission. Although failure is highly discouraged, and punishments are due where failure is, it is a common goal to sacrifice anything or anyone for the success of a mission or to progress closer to their common goal. You ask for how much you are willing to give to the syndicate.
Guild Laws:
► Having any official affiliation with the Rune Knights, Magic Council, or Garou Knights is prohibited if membership is requested.
► By enlisting in the ranks of The Katame Syndicate, members have pledged loyalty to the guild and those who go against that will have appropriate disciplining or punishment.
► By no means strive for failure unless it is conducted in such a way to produce a more successful result.
► As far as others are concerned, The Katame Syndicate does not exist or cannot be found. You are sworn to secrecy in this hidden society, keep it that way.
The Guild Hall
Hidden away along the route of the many alleyways in Motor City, the Katame Syndicate's headquarters and main guild hall can be found in a mere small-town bar. When you walk in, it is a tight knit space but cozy and somewhat clean. A shelf of different liquors are right up against he wall just behind a counter where a bartender will always be present. Though behind the "Staff Only" entryways lies a series of staircases and corridors that lead to other rooms in the seemingly small building (though large when below or above ground), many rooms filled with dangerous weaponry and other illegal items. These rooms will be detailed later on an official Guild Hall page.
