More VIP Shop Freedom?

I'll keep this as short and sweet as possible. I feel like we're at a point now in the VIP shop where things should be updated. I've always had a bone to pick with the pricing, I'll be honest. I never liked the idea of paying more for little (and by that I mean paying more for things you don't want, or paying for things you already have but have to purchase it anyway to get the specific item or status you wanted.)

So lightbulb! I suddenly had the most "brilliant" idea. Wouldn't it just be a lot easier to set individual prices for the items in the VIP shop? Look, I get it, Seijin wants to make money off of fictional currency and other things in exchange for real currency. Who could blame him? Considering that tons of people spend quite a lot on it.

But I think we've come to a point where we shouldn't have to pay for things we don't want. i.e, glows, chatbox icons, jewels.



As you can see, the only changes in the VIP bundles above is the jewel amount, lacrima type and artifact amount. Notice how you're basically getting the same thing from 50 bucks to 250 bucks. There really is no diversity, not even in the lacrimas. I feel as if by 250, you should have a Custom Lacrima, not one set out for you.

So again, my suggestion is to get everything a set price and sell them individually.

EX:

Bruce at 25 CC, and he purchases;

One Dragon Slayer Lacrima - 10 CC
Chatbox Icon - 5 CC
Glow - 10 CC

Total: 25 CC, 25 CC deducted


That seems like a better 'customer service'. Seeing as you're also paying for something that is no longer effective on the site... coughVIPPrioritycough...

For people who do want to spend that kind of money however on donations, they should be given a bit more freedom in what exactly they want to buy. That status doesn't really mean anything. It has no weight or relevance so based on that alone, such people shouldn't have to spend $250.

If people want to buy VIP and such that is fine IMO. The site needs to receive donations in order to pay for hosting, its domain name, etc. However, I think that all the different levels should be removed. Just have one VIP status and then let people pick items from a longer list. It would give donators more freedom in what they can spend the CC on while still giving the site the money it needs to keep it running.
