Magic
Primary Magic: Earthmate Magic
Secondary Magic: N/A (She can’t have this due to practicing Earthmate Magic)
Caster or Holder: Lost Magic
Description: This magic was a heavily practiced one, a very long time ago. To practice Earthmate magic? Someone must have a very strong connection to life or death, in other words the earth we’re all born from and return to in the end. However the story of how this magic came to be goes back way further than when it was practiced heavily and it’s eventuality of becoming a lost art!
Once upon a time, there was a dragon, she was a beast much like a summon, someone who belonged in another world, and yet she loved earthland so much she expelled so much energy to stay within it. Eventually? A town of people who loved her grew up around the dragon, and one day this female started to fade, so saddened by this her closest friend fused themselves to her energy field to buy her more time, doing such a thing turned them into mindless monsters that attacked anything that came close, so she was forced to deal off the area’s where they had fused themselves, this happened four times over several decades or maybe even centuries. Each time? This dragoness reached out to a group of mages called Earthmates, begging for a way to return her friends to their original state, even if it meant she’d have to vanish from this world. Prior to the dragon’s plea? The earthmates had mostly been simple farmers using their magic to enrich the earth and aid in their work. However upon seeing her desperation they began to work over a long period of time, to harnessing their natural affinity with the earth, life and death itself, to find a way to help her.
Eventually just as the dragoness was growing weak once more and unrest spread across the kingdom, the earthmates found a way to both save the dragons friends and not betray the wish they had upon fusing themselves, they could save both the people and the dragoness. Upon the completion of this magic? They sent their strongest mage to both return the monster’s to their normal humanoid forms and save the dragoness. However the unrest in the kingdom caused war during this time, and a good deal of the village where earthmates lived was annihilated, and those who survived the war went back to using their magic for farming to. The story was different for the mage they sent on the mission to save the dragoness thought, over the course of her mission she grew attached to the village and the dragoness. Without even knowing what happened to the rest of her people? This earthmate married the love of her life in the village, had twins and lived there till the end of the days, passing down the fully refined version of earthmate magic to her children and it continued down her line.
One day one of this mage’s descendants found an infant left at the town’s gate, tiny and alone, so the village in all its kindness took this child in. Over time? They began to attempt teaching her their magic and Frey took to it shockingly well, eventually prompting the village to begin to teach her the whole span of Earthmate magic, even teaching her the method for spells she was too young to cast.
Now onto what Earthmate magic actually does.
There are several ways this magic can be used and it’s shockingly large in the subjects it covers. For example? An earthmate can summon a monster from the same realm the old dragoness came from, to aid them. However they can also utilize simple spells of the different elements that make up the world, like shadows, fire, water, light, the earth itself, alongside a few special and supportive spells. Due to her young age, Frey is still very much getting used to using her magic and thus has no idea how she will use it in battle yet.
Strengths:
❀ An earthmate can be a close combat, mid range or long range fighter due to the variety of spells in the magic.
❀ These mages can cover an offensive, defensive or support role with ease, since they have a large arsenal of spell types.
❀ Due to their flexibility, Earthmates make great solo or team mages.
Weaknesses:
❀ Their flexibility is also their greatest weakness as an earthmate can never be more skilled in one type of magic than another.
❀ Due to their deep connection with the earth, these magi tend to be the last to die, and thus watch the death and suffering around them longer.
❀ A good deal of an earthmates magic is partly dependant on the environment around them, if they're not around water, they can’t use water spells, no shadows than no shadow spells, a dead field means their rejuvenating magic is almost impossible. Since earthmates actually borrow from the earth.
❀ Since a good deal of EM spells are quick to cast and cool down, the user can sometimes run low on magical power much easier than other kinds of magic users do.
❀ If an earthmate loses their connection the earth, they lose their earthmate magic, which leaves them with no magic as you can not learn another magic after learning earthmate magic.
Lineage: N/A
Unique Abilities:
❀ Etherlink arua, derived from when the Earthmates saved the dragons friends from madness, this ability prevents anyone near Frey from going insane, even if they normally should like due to use of a lineage or something. So long as someone is within 15 meters of her, this range increases by 10 meters every rank up.
❀ Body From The Earth, this ability has to do with both her earthmate magic and her birth mother who was made of clay, causing Frey’s body to not be made of actual flesh. As a result? Status effects like poison, stuns, burns and such do not ‘stick’ to this little girl, instead there is no effect from them at all. However if a spell would deal a status effect and damage, she still receives the damage, despite not getting the status effect. Due to her body melee attacks of her same or lower rank also only do half the damage.
Negative Effects:
-Water spells do 50% more damage to her, since her body is made from earth.
-In cold environments she suffers -25% to speed due to her body starting to freeze.
-While she isn't affected by Stuns being hit by ice attacks causes the same effect.
-Her immunity to stuns is negated when she's wet as the water would conduct the electricity.
❀ Nature's gift, due to her connection to nature Frey has 15% hp boost and 110% MP instead of 100%.

D Rank Spells:
- Spoiler:
Name: Rune Para
Rank: D
Type: Earthmate, supportive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: Every other post
Description: Magical Power is in everything that exists, and earthmates are connected to everything. These mages are able to borrow power from everything around them, allowing an earthmate to draw 4% MP from the earth and give it to an ally.
Strengths:
❀ She can aid in preventing her allies from losing too much MP
Weaknesses:
❀ To cast she is still consuming her own magical power.
❀ Frey can not give this magical power to herself.
Name: Rune Gift
Rank: D
Type: Earthmate
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: Every other post
Description: Just like an earthmate can borrow magical power from the earth? They can borrow life itself or HP from it in other words, by holding her hand downwards and pulling it up, Frey can borrow life from the earth and elements around her. Restores 30 health points to everyone in a ten meter area surrounding Frey including herself.
Strengths:
❀ Very convenient for keeping herself and others around her dying.
❀ Only heals those she wants it to.
Weaknesses:
❀ If someone didn’t need the healing, it’s basically wasted MP
❀ Frey can only use this spell up to 10 times in a thread.
❀ If she wants to prevent it from healing an enemy, she has to forgo the health she’d otherwise gain from it, as doing so requires extra care to channeling the energy.
Name: Monster Barn Summoning, Wooly Mob
Rank: D
Type: Earthmate Summoning
Duration: 2 Posts
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Description: Wooly’s, their cute little monsters, two legged floppy eared super fluffy sheep on two legs, kinda. By shouting out this monster’s name? Frey can summon a mob of wooly’s to attack and slow down her enemies. the mod contains around 10 woolly's
Active Ability: By ramming their super soft and wooly bodies into an enemy repeatedly, the Wooly Mob can deal anywhere from 10-20hp in damage before they vanish, depending on how many hit you. Duration of attack, 1 post, cool down of attack is 2 posts. They do 2 hp damage each and no more after that.
Passive Ability: Their wool tends to get stuck on everything, anyone hit by a wooly has 25% speed reduction for the next Three posts.
Strengths:
❀ There are tons of wooly’s so the likelihood you won’t get hit by at least one, is pretty much nothing.
Weaknesses:
❀ They literally have no hp bar, one hit and they are dead, so if someone casts an AOE before the wooly’s strike, their safe.
❀ If someone doesn’t get literally mobbed by the woolies, they won't sustain much damage at all.
❀ Woolies can be very nice creatures, so sometimes they might not ram into someone and instead just cuddle them, leaving the speed reduction as the only negative impact.
Name: Elemental Blast
Rank: D
Type: Earthmate Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: Every other post
Description: When fighting, Frey can call upon the earth’s aid by cupping her hand, this will form a swirling ball of a random element in her hand, which she can fling at an enemy, this ball does 20 damage.
Strengths:
❀ This attack allows her to get lots of hits in on an enemy.
❀ The attack possibly can have different effectiveness depending on the element that appears.
Weaknesses:
❀ Even though she can spam this spell pretty easily, doing so will cause her to run out of MP pretty quickly.
❀ She can not control which element her shot is composed of, and since these shots are affected by type weaknesses and such, it could very well end up doing nothing.
❀ Frey must summon than fling, which takes time and relative stillness for good aim.
