"SOMEONE! ANYONE! THERE'S A GIANT THING HEADED THIS WAY!"

Hero at that point in time was walking around in a town west of the Royal Castle in Crocus, some fifteen miles or so away from the so-called Mysterious Canyons. The reason he was here? Well, there had been sightings of a giant machine heading through the Canyons toward Crocus. In hearing about it, he contacted the Garou Knights and asked about the rumors. In getting a confirmation as well as some additional information on the matter, Hero set out for this medium-sized town. Thus there he was, in the right place at the right time. The man who was yelling aloud eventually saw the giant and ran up to him.

"Oh thank goodness you're here, Titan Pallas! I was supposed to be traveling through the canyons today with some cargo when I saw that giant thing marching on its way here. You have to do something!"

Of course Yamamoto was going to handle it. He was not the type of man who could let something like this continue, though he was slightly aggravated by the fact that he was told to bring it back without destroying it. He sighed once before smiling and giving the civilian a thumb up with his left hand; then he spoke in a confident manner.

"It is alright. Do you know why? Because I am here!"

With a confident expression on the man's face, he began walking in the direction of the Canyons. This squabble was going to end before it even began.

it may sound absurd but don't be naive
even heroes have the right to bleed
It was of common occurrence to find Terith with his particularly messy blonde mop in the most austere locations at the most random of times, and that wasn't entirely made up of his travel reasons or a product of his little whimsies, either. At best, he was a wonderer by accident -not because he wanted to, but it was almost as if his significantly awful directional sense granted him encounters by chance. Luck, in retrospect, wasn't included among the things he liked to consider his forte. So with his humility mixed into the ploy, it was sort of hard for him to consider these instances anything but pure coincidence.

And so it was, back then, too, under the blistering heat of a canyon so far gone that had him sweating bullets.

    "Stupid sun...."

Beneath the linings of his worn soles was the sound of scattering, most notably tiny mounds of pebble and dirt that filtered through the spaces in his steps. It was an aimless bout, where the swordsman was already considerably lost among the slow sloping rock formations that bordered the Mysterious Canyons, though he knew he wasn't the type to openly admit to his negligence that initially placed him there, anyway. Missing his train was one thing, completely mistaking his calibration for the next train was another. And by a stroke of misfortune, his last stop ended abruptly due to the some commotion that involved gigantic robots. What the heck was that about? Was there a mecha battle happening without him being there to witness it?

At his foot, the blonde would kick at a stray pebble with a frustrated expression, watching it rotate over the dust for several turns, unsure of where to head, and doubtful if he had anything to do in such a deserted area.

"Ugh, stupid canyon...stupid train...stupid robots..." he mumbled, repeatedly, a visibly bulging vein worming it's way over his temple.

Each step the giant took, the closer he came to the edge of the small town, became heavier. His large feet made imprints in the hot soil, though it was not hot enough to cause any pain. It was somewhat hot out this day with the Sun directly over his head but once more it did not impede his path forward. Always progressing. Always moving. That was the way of a protector. As he steadily came closer to being out of the populated area, the giant's speed began to pick up. Each step became quicker in rhythm and his footprints sank deeper and deeper into the ground. Covering his entire body from the neck to the top of his feet was a jet black cloak that absorbed the heat of the bright orb in the sky. Due to all the travels he had been on in all his years, the Sun was no more a burden to him than a violin was to a violinist. In fact, the heat was greatly welcomed, for it gave him energy and provided him a soul-like fire within him to blaze a trail through hardship.

Without looking back to the townsfolk behind him, he rose a thumb into the air for everyone to see, and then he bent his knees before darting off ahead toward the Mysterious Canyon to take down this mechanical giant he heard about from that frantic older-looking man moments ago. Despite his size, Yamamoto's speed was just as surprising. His feet were seconds off the ground every push forward and hot air pressed against him as if to attempt slowing him down. As he ran ever straight, he began to come upon what looked like a young blond-haired man walking through this desert. Wearing so much clothing in an area like this... was he training or something? Getting closer to the young man, Hero noticed that they carried on their person a sword of some type. If they were of some decent skill, perhaps they could assist him in removing this threat. With that in mind, as he blew past the person, Titan Pallas used his giant left hand to grab them by their shoulder and hoist them up to his own shoulder upright. After doing so, Hero began speaking loudly enough for the stranger to hear his voice.

"I know this is somewhat sudden, but can you come with me? I'm headed to that Canyon over there on account of a trader back in a nearby village. Said there was some iron giant headed in this direction."

The sheen of sweat that lined his temple had become even more pronounced as the heat clung tightly to his thick clothes, mimicking how several strands of blonde stuck to the corners of his face in a grubby fashion. They tangled over his slowly reddening complexion insistently, framing his already irate features with the notion of exhaustion reaching his bones. He wasn't aware of the time of day, but every second he'd spent traversing the Canyon seemed to drag on for far longer, and it was no surprise that his brain equated 20 minutes of walking to 2 hours of suffering.

Terith stiffly balled a fist, and, when he realized that his nerves didn't seem to portray any hints of numbing, he'd slowly lift a hand to his face, shielding the blistering sun from his eyes as the swordsman looked up. Beyond him was the sky, stretching on for eons without seeing the end to it. He'd tip himself a loop-sided grin as he weakly conjured up random analogies in his head; something about the blue yonder above him, and a journey, too, maybe even the distance it took to span the entire sky. But it was all in his head, for sure, and even that part of him was currently in a delusional state, so he didn't put much credibility in his current train of thought. Gently, he could feel his consciousness slipping past his pale fingers, and he could only ever grasp at it in vain like the sands that slipped beneath his soles.

It wasn't until a sudden gust of strong wind swept past his figure that his brain waves suddenly reacted with a jolt, his head whipping back as he met a face full of the material of hood. He'd attempt to yank it off, but would only manage it half way through before he'd feel the ground disappear beneath his shoes, his body suddenly yanked air-borne by an unknown source of inhuman strength. His form would settle between the grip of what he assumed to be some rather large hands, and he could only do so much in that position but look up from the tousled mess that was his hood, heeding the loud treble of the man's voice as he spoke with conviction. Iron giant? Like a robot of some sorts? It sounded similar to the fuss he had to deal with at the train...

Terith edged his head one way, opting to get a better angle of this person, and after managing to see through the material, his mind wound up retreating to a distant memory of newspapers scattered across parks, snapshots of bright red hair and the emphasis of height, works of heroism littering the articles and tales from those who were lucky enough to witness it. He was unmistakably a familiar face, though the name somewhat escaped him for a few seconds until it sunk back into his memory.

"Ah....Mr. Yamamoto, was it?" he started, politely, his humility acting up in the face of someone with greater experience (and fame) than he. "Um...well...how should I put it, I'm very much fine with tagging along. I'll just try to not be much of a burden."

The swordsman bore him a light smile, though it did little to hide his anxiety for the daunting task. Though he was no master at the probabilities, he had a gut feeling that it wouldn't end well for him in the long run, even more so if the enemy was more than an army tank but an actual mecha suit. Things were to get interesting, then, if that were the case. However, there was no visible harm in the proposal, so he needn't worry much, at best, he'd be with a very reliable person -a hero, as a matter of fact.

The giant laughed aloud in a hearty manner. A burden, eh? He really must not have been confident in his own abilities, if he was saying something like that. However, the giant did take a moment to think through what was to happen once they arrived there. It would have been easier to manage this if there was one more person on board. Then he remembered the young, aspiring wizard Summer whom Elyx was interested in making the next Ace of the guild. Hero was actually tasked with providing her guidance so this would have been the best way for him to introduce himself. On a lesser note, it may not have been such a great idea bringing her along since this was a bit above her skill level. However, Hero was never coddled in such a way and that was how he got this far in the first place. He sighed and shook his head before slowing down and eventually halting, only a few leagues away from his destination. The giant then pulled out a phone and quickly dialed a number that corresponded to the guild's tasking area.

"This is Hero. Give Summer Guiyang a call and tell her to come to my location. You should have the coordinates from my phone already. Thanks."

He hung up after finishing his request and then returned the phone to its original position and then spoke clearly to the young man whom was now sitting on one of the man's shoulders.

"It seems you know who I am, but I do not know who you are. What is your name? We have some time before this other person arrives. Figured I'd kill a few birds with one stone this way."

Summer was busy in Golden Phoenix being herself when the guild got a phone call pertaining to her and her alone. She was alerted of this thing and was told where to go… She was told to go to a Mysterious Canyon and meet up with one of the guild members there known as Hero Yamamoto, if Summer remembered correctly, Hero was one of the other aces of Golden Phoenix, she hasn’t met the man properly yet as far as she was concerned. No matter, it was time to rush to the place and meet up with the great man himself.

Running out of the guild, she cuddled Stella close to her and allowed Laysha to dash freely around her as she managed to finally run to the mysterious canyon after taking a very long time to get to the area. She sighed softly as she looked around “This is where the man said I had to arrive… am I in the right place??” She shook her head before she made herself take a few more changes to gaze in the area, that was when she spotted two males… One of them was Terith! She was very happy to see the man! The other was a very tall man that made Summer look like she was a 12 year old… that must be hero…

“Torian!” The female shouted as she ran over to him and hugged him, she then glanced over to the giant and waved at him happily before hugging him too! He was part of the guild so it should be easy to trust him regardless. “Hello Hero!” She then greeted the giant. “You called me? If so, then I am here, ready and raring to go!” She declared to the man, she couldn’t wait to get going!

it may sound absurd but don't be naive

"I'm..." a pause, hesitance causing his lips to seal before an old habit of his unhinged them, "...Torian. Torian Pace."

It wasn't unusual to conform to routine, the swordsman thought, but the moment his name was put into question made him briefly wonder if his pseudonym ever even served its true purpose. Terith crafted the name Torian with an intention of avoiding the unnecessary, granted that there were no possible records detailing his birth in this form Earth, much less his hometown and known relatives. Though, in the long months of toil where he'd been a freelance wizard, none of that essentially mattered on the fine print. To establish trust and sincerity, maybe, felt like a good reason for him to consider dropping Torian from his repertoire. But with so many things that all but hindered that cause in terms of safe-guarding his secrets, there was very little lee-way to stay loyal to his given name, especially with someone he'd have barely known for an hour.

Hero, however, didn't seem to spark that sense of caution in him, almost as if there was no harm in telling this person the truth, regardless of how small the portion might be. Perhaps it was the insignificance of the swordsman's real name in comparison to the hefty titles underneath Hero's, or just his natural presence that automatically made everything within a mile radius put all their trust in the giant. Either way, it was somewhat difficult to lie to him. Yet the deed had been done, dictated by habit, and Terith was sure that all options regarding his given name was officially crossed out of that situation, more so at the sound of his name through the familiar highs and lows of a woman he'd have shared a battle with, just a few weeks ago.

He raised an arm to meet her call in a casual way, "Oh, hey there Sum-" he said, his words cut mid-way as the impact from Summer's tacklehug somewhat caused his legs to fumble about, if not from the shock of even receiving a hug from someone in the first place.

A little dubious on how to react, the blonde decided on nothing but a simple scratch to his cheek, "A-ah...ahaha...um...yeah, nice to see you again...I guess..."

When Summer opted to skid over one way to greet Hero in the same manner, Terith proceeded to mend his slightly awkward tone of voice, the words now coming off as clear and resolute from his lips as he spared the stretching horizon a long, observing glance.

"A giant mech running amok, huh..."

Somewhere inside his head, an uproar of cheer started. On his face was a calm and calculative expression, but his mind was racing with sets of lapsing images, detailing robo fights and the sound of magic clashing against polished steel.

'...Damn, that sounds so cool!' he thought, smiling inwardly despite the awkward manifest of Terith's nerdy interests.

The way this young lad answered Hero's question made the giant believe there was something else going on. Yamamoto was a perceptive man, despite his size and such an obvious stutter and strained expression made it that much easier to suppose such. Hero never understood the point of lying or hiding one's identity, but it was perhaps just as reasonable that any person could come up with reasons for hiding facts about themselves. He certainly had a couple himself. The fact that his lie was so obvious though meant that he was having difficulty going through with it in the first place. That was what truly got Titan thinking. However, instead of thinking on it, he decided to let it all pass and only said a few things aloud, only loud enough for the young man to hear.

"Hiding your identity is not something you should do lightly. You must be resolute in everything you do or you will some day regret your decisions. When you're ready to come clean, you can let me know. Until then, I'll acquiesce your request and call you Torian."

Meanwhile, a voice rang out through the air that was headed straight toward the two men. It honestly couldn't have been mistaken for anyone other than Summer, the newest Ace of the guild. He could never truly understand how she could always be so... upbeat, but that was the reason why he called her out here. It was about time for her to face real danger and set aside that cheery nature. Of course, it was not a bad thing that Summer was cheerful. It was more that the giant was worried that cheery young girl would not be able to face danger when the time came. There was a time to be happy-go-lucky, and another to be serious and alert. This time was the latter and Hero intended to teach her precisely that.

"Hey there, Summer. Glad to see you made it without getting lost. There are a few things I would like to say before we go into dangerous territory. First, Summer, as per the request of the Guild Master I am to be your mentor from this day forward. That is the primary reason I brought you out here. It appears you know this young man, so that is a good thing. You two will be working together extensively today.

You two likely are not going to enjoy what I am about to say: you will be fighting this thing alone and I will be watching. If either of you are in danger, I will run in to assist. I do not know you, Torian, so I will need to have faith in Summer that you are someone whom can be relied upon to face odds that are against you. That being said, neither of you have a choice in walking away. You must always move forward in this world we live in, after all."

    Shine down, Spark up
Summer was very excited to be doing this job with some people that she actually knew, she has surely gotten stronger then what she should really be and she was very much proud of how far she has come in terms of being a mage. She was B ranked now, and she became an ace of Golden Phoenix. She was known as the ace of moonstone, pretty fitting since fireworks were stronger at night and such. Summer might be inexperienced with all this ace stuff, but she was SURE that she will be the best ace that she could possibly be, that was her goal after all… to be the best she could possibly be on the inside and on the outside.

Hero, didn’t seem to think so however. It was just like back at the little village, where everyone would huddle around her, protecting her with all their might. Hero was to be her mentor, Summer didn’t understand why she needed a mentor per say because she has managed to get by with all her friends and the mysterious people who she now deems very close to her. Julius, another friend of hers and Terith’s for example was a complete stranger to Summer, but they became great friends overtime (even if he has come from being a shy pirate to the most sassiest male that she will most likely ever meet). She felt like she didn’t need anyone as mentor, but if Hero and Elyx thought that this would be the best for her… then it must be the choice that she must partake in order to be a true spark among her friends. According to Hero, she will be working with Terith extensively today, she was glad to have Terith on board again! The two made quite the team, even if they both have very different styles of going about with things. “Oh yes!” Summer chuckled lightly and tilted her head. “Terith is amazing!” She announced as she flapped her arms twice in anticipation, all the while she was on tip-toes.

Then it was the bad news; Summer and Terith had to face off whatever was coming to them alone. Hero was going to be watching the two go face to face with the enemy. He said he was going to rush to their aid if something was wrong, but Summer was now just a tad confused… he was to be her mentor, yet he wasn’t going to do anything to help them immediately?? Well then, that was weird. She decided to question this kind of motive and she wasn’t afraid to speak it out in any way whatsoever.[/color]

“You’re mentoring me?? But you’re only going to help if we’re in need of it??” Summer tilted her head the other way in confusion. She just wanted to know because she was unsure if that was how it worked. She was glad that she had Terith more than ever now.

it may sound absurd but don't be naive
even heroes have the right to bleed
Something seemed to stir apprehensively in his gut when the topic of identity fell from the giant's lips in formal speech, a jarring amount of insight wafting off his looming figure that hovered over them, watching with a critical eye. Perhaps it would've been the wiser choice to reveal his birth name without much thought, as he did with Summer in the days prior - in due time, maybe; Terith was one to consider the revelation of his secrets a process without much exceptions. After all, the deed was sealed and his second chance to ponder over it was several seconds too late. He might as well concede with how things turned out, as expected of a man his age.

    "I see..."

But, far more important than proving his distasteful lack of decision-making skills was the mention of work and how it would carry on extensively, although what was more interesting were a number of proposals strewn together - fighting the spawns with Miss Guiyang (a thought that he couldn't help but feel elated about) and Hero's involvement in the matter being reduced to a simple observer, a last measure should they need him, and even then, the giant's implication of his aid seemed scarce and limited to specific conditions.

His responses came in a mix as a flash flood of emotion and events blinded him with little time to react properly. To his left, Terith could hear the woman in verdant green slipping his given name without much to hinder her, and though he moved to correct her and perhaps remind her that it was a secret to be shared by him alone, his courage to do so was visibly dampened by the smile she presented, where the swordsman didn't have much in him to inadvertently ruin her fun, not after she categorized him as amazing...which he hardly was. Then, gods forgive him, while his persona almost oozed in tangible inexperience, the larger, more aptly built wizard proceeded to entrust the battle ahead to them both - they hadn't even the slightest clue what it was, which made the situation far more difficult than every other odd job that Terith unwittingly did for the past few months.

Though usually cynical about his abilities (much less the efficiency of it against....mechanical things), it all seemed to catch his interest with thrill, gruel even; it'd be a skirmish fit for memory's worth, but not without breaking a bone...or several, he surmised. The odd jobs piled at a consistent pace, but he'd admit, nothing generates excitement unlike a challenge far beyond his known ability. It's been far too long since he'd encountered and fought something that didn't bleed.

The blonde coughed, his composure kept at the edge of his wits as if to not give off the sense of being far too enthusiastic for serious danger, "Well...hmm..." he'd nod, "I understand, I'll keep in mind to exert my best for this."

Terith was no stranger to the subject of trust and connection, for he'd be relying it more than ever now in order to overcome the gigantic ordeal that continued to lay waste among the canyons. Whatever may become the result of this impromptu bout...the blonde was sure to accept. What held more weight was neither showcasing his technique nor was to gain reward, but rather, the accomplishment of the training trial seemed to tip the scales further than the two combined.

OOC: Apologies for the short post. Looking to speed this up though for plots' sake.

The giant sighed and then nodded a couple of times due to the way Summer had reacted to his little summary of what was going to happen. The way Hero learned and grew was by fighting with his own strength, with a will to be at the front no matter the obstacle ahead. Summer needed to understand that she was not always going to have someone around to battle alongside her. Most times in fact, she was going to have to be the one doing the protecting and that was what worried both Hero and Elyx the most. The giant began to speak in a more serious manner, though he was still polite.

"Correct. As someone who might fill a high role in Golden Phoenix, you must be able to handle yourself in a fight that is beyond your current capabilities. You must be able to protect those that may be weaker than you and expect to not get any reinforcements. More often than not, the higher up the chain you go in the Magic world, the more alone you become when going out on missions. As someone who is closer to the top than you are, I can say firmly that you are not ready yet to tackle the hardships that will come. That is why I am telling you to go out there with Terith to fight this foe who happens to be quite the daunting task.

You must grow. For that, you must be given tough love and I happen to be best suited for that. That isn't to say you don't have reinforcements this time, however! Do not fret. Do not question so often the tasks of your betters. Have faith, Summer! That is one of your strong points after all, is it not?"

The giant smiled then after his monologue and gave them both a thumbs up. After doing that, he walked up to them and hoisted each of the young people up to his shoulders and began to run toward their destination. These two were going to be fine mages in the future, and it was his duty to ensure they each grew to be exactly that.

Now Summer felt she was just receiving more questions than she was with actual answers. Summer didn’t find it fair that Hero wasn’t going to help her, but she was sure that everything was going to be okay since Terith was around to help her. Now that she thought about it, Summer and Terith have been through quite a few things, Summer even saved him at one point when a little girl known as Lilith decided to give the blonde swordsman a hard time. Fortunately Summer was only able to stop her thanks to her surprise attack, and being able to use Terith’s belt.

“I am perfectly ready thouggghhhhh...” The fireworks expert whined slowly, trying her best not to pout at the ordeal that she was set up for. Of course, Summer looked over to Terith before looking over to the senior. Tilting her head, she seemed to understand the predicament she was in, and slowly grew to accept it, even though she really didn’t want to. Just how was Hero going to train her if he wasn’t going to do much to help at all.

“We should start soon…” Summer stated as she tilted her head, biting her lower lip as she did so, it really was time to face the music. That is one thing to look forward to, working together with the blonde swordsman once more. “And urm… I guess I do have faith in everything.” Summer had to look at the positive points now.

Suddenly, the fireworks expert was lifted onto the shoulders of her sensei, and holy hell, he was indeed a tall person! She could see much more from this height, she always imagined how high Priscilla and Laysha could see things, simply because she couldn’t fly, she could float higher but she couldn’t be up in the sky for that long. Now that she's on the shoulder of her sensei, she could be as high as he wanted her to be. Now this was going to be a fun mission, even if there was doubt in the beginning.

“This is refreshing!” The chinese girl exclaimed as she swayed her head side to side, listening to the wind ringing in her ears as her black hair darted all over the place, dancing and being around each other in their company. The speed was absolutely amazing, now too, another thing she could comment on while being supported by the ace of diamond. “I AM SOOOO READY! TIME TO KICK BUTT!”

The exchange of advice between Hero and Summer posed a strong, irrevocable connection of teacher and student, and the swordsman hadn't the slightest clue how to take the giant's words apart from listening wordlessly, knowing that he had yet to have any sentimental bond between either of the two, Summer being an exceptional case where Terith encountered her several times in the past. He'd been aware that the majority of it was directed at Miss Guiyang, though it wouldn't have harmed anyone to take heed, since he began to harbor a small, inkling of a feeling that he'd need the motivation beforehand.

    "Well...uh...tally-ho then?"

As if not given much room to speak again otherwise, Terith felt the sole of his shoes extract itself from the safety of solid ground, his body hoisted airborne and seated nicely atop the curve of the giant's shoulder. At this point, the blonde couldn't even feign the slightest of surprised expressions, knowing well of the strength Hero presented with his sort of build. In place of the initial shock, however, was an awe that matched Summer's, who sat parallel to his figure on the other shoulder. He'd been sharing odd jobs with the woman for a good while now, and only time would tell if there'd be more set late into the future.

A low, desert breeze hurriedly drew past, humming over them briskly, blowing sand into his face and immediately prompting him to squint. Their destination was a small line of gray somewhere over the horizon as he willed himself to stare past the particle-dusted wind.

The wind blowing unrelentingly against the man's face was both warm and refreshing at the same time. Each footstep upon the hot earth was a jolt of both pain and life. Life, one may have asked? Life, in the sense that the steps he made gave him a purpose... a goal to be obtained, a life to behold. More than that, though, he was excited deep down. This was the first time he was capable of mentoring someone else, so of course he was pretty damn pumped about it. Granted, he didn't really even know how to mentor someone and he was only just barely able to wing it today on the first day. The man did say he was going to watch them... but was that really the wisest thing to do? In this particular scenario, two juniors were directly under his care which meant that he was responsible for ensuring they both came out of this alive and kicking. Would it not have been smarter to take the helm in this case? Certainly it made sense to allow them to learn the hard way that nothing was ever going to remain so easy as long as they continued getting stronger. There were always going to be larger and larger hurdles on the horizon so it was best to be prepared for that. Right? Well, he at least needed to see the enemy they faced before taking any real actions. He heard just from a random passerby about this giant robot thing in the nearby mountain pass so it wasn't exactly... credible information.

Seconds ticked on by as the three gradually got closer and closer to their destination; steadily the picture became more clear. To be seen from this distance, the thing must have been truly large. He was going to have to keep that one busy himself while the other two fought on their own; in this situation, that was the best call to make. The giant spoke loudly enough for the two people on his shoulders to hear.

"Change of plans, you two. It seems it'll be too dangerous with that big hunk of metal stomping around. I'll give it some hell but I won't be able to protect either of you from other threats if there are any."

Of course he was going to push himself in order to protect either of them from fatal danger, but the safest decision to make was to keep that thing busy and that was exactly what he was going to do. By the time Hero had finished talking, the small group of three were already nearing the point of contact with the insurgents. His eyes could spot several flying machines all within the vicinity of the robot and there looked to be no foreseeable shortage of them. Hmm... that meant something was both spawning and running them. It must have been the giant machine. That made it all the more important for Titan to handle the big guy while his partners took on the flying objects he still couldn't quite make out. Finally, the man stopped to speak once more while getting into a dashing position.

"Alright, you two. We're jumping right in. Leap off my shoulders whenever there's an opening and stay on your toes. I'll see to it you both make it out just fine!"

There was a big smile on his face even as he leaped forward at a crazy fast pace. The gap between the two groups shortened incredibly fast with Hero's sprinting; the first thing he did was absorb some ethernano and channel it into his right arm and then into his right fist. Yamamoto then threw a powerful punch that threw everything in the area back into the mountains. This was their opening!

    SUMMARY OF EVENTS

The big fight thus began strong on the side of Hero and his students. Each machine was brought down with relative ease, up until they reached the large war machine which was about two feet taller than Yamamoto. Immediately, Hero stepped up to take it head-on while the others took the fight to its minions which flew out from its body. Unfortunately, over time, the young ones began getting overrun so Hero needed to step in and protect them. That also meant leaving the war machine unattended and that was a big mistake. It almost instantly targeted the young swordsman, Torian, whom was fighting back to back with the slightly more experienced Summer. While Titan did manage to protect them, Torian was launched straight into a rock by the oversized man. Seeing that the young man was knocked unconscious, and knowing Summer could not handle all those enemies on her own, Hero quickly launched his signature punch at the entire enemy force, thus blowing them all away into distant lands. For now this was what needed to be done for their safety. With both hoisted onto his shoulders, Hero darted off to the nearest city to treat their injuries. Little did he know that Torian suffered more damage than he initially anticipated, unfortunately.
