Running his fingers across the flat side of the crimson blade known as Clarent, Ardere stood up. He could hear the echoing of the crowd's bellowing and cheering, almost enough to shake the entire stadium. The fire mage waited a moment before walking out of the two massive doors before him, entering Domus Flau. The coliseum was gargantuan, with dozens of rows full of eager citizens. As he walked closer to the center, the announcer began to speak. Welcome everyone, to the official duel of Saints! On one side we have Ardere Kasai, and on the other, Elyx Reiaki. Two guild masters. Two slayers. Two saints. But only one can be the champion of not just Fiore, but all of Ishval. The Vanquishers battle today. Who will win? Once the two mages take their spots in the center, we can begin! But first, a shout-out to the former Number One God of Ishval, Deniel. He will forever be number one in our hearts. Taking a deep breath, he walked to his spot before clutching his sword tightly. The fight was just minutes, if not sooner, away from beginning. The two were powerful mages, and he likes to say they were friends. Elyx and Ardere went way back, going on several missions together. But today they were opponents. They were possibly the two strongest light mages out there, now that Deniel had left. Today, they would find out who was the strongest. The Fire King chose to don his samurai armor, and he wielded his sword Clarent. These were the two items he had chosen to bring to this battle. His phoenix and daughter both sat in the audience, watching him intently, almost anxiously. It was well known the violinist outranked him, but the samurai had skill and experience nearly unmatched in this country. He had to admit he was slightly nerous, but there was some excitement in there as well. A smirk crossed his pale lips, as he tightened his red head band before preparing for battle. No holding back Elyx. Let's give it our all. A fire burning in his eyes, for the first time he sought after a goal against a friend, and he did not plan on losing.

Battle Stipulations:
-Fight until one player's hp hits 0 or they are knocked unconscious. (Forfeits are allowed) -No guild spells. -Players limited to two items. -No pets
Prepare to dance then. I expect your movement to live up to your reputation, and if that is so, I am sure such a fight will be one to remember. The Wizard Saint would reply back towards the Guild Master of Infinity Hydra. Seems like he was prepared to fight, and the number one role was going to go towards te victor. It was not going to be a cakewalk, he was sure of it. However, he did have a lot of support from himself and Quatro, Stella watching. The both of them would be by his sides, Quatro with his arms crossed and Stella sitting on a spirit throne by his side, a little bucket of popcorn in front of her. Since they were spirits, they can't be seen by anybody else. But it was fine, since their act in battle will be evident soon. The dark aura would begin to emit from his body, the God Slaying magic of the Sky. It was dark-infused, and with his strength, would emit an aura that caused the air around him to vibrate. With that, he would then clench his fists and hold them up, ready for combat. Bound Iris was not going to be used for this fight since Quatro can prevent the damage, but it was to give the illusion that he was willing to fight on the same terms as a melee fighter. I'll allow you to make the first move. You'll be the opening. He told the Guild Master of Infinity Hydra, his light brown eyes locking onto his opponent. So focused, he was prepared for the first attack. Surroundings, check. He was prepared for anything from any direction now.
So you can throw me to the wolves Tomorrow I will come back Leader of the whole pack Beat me black and blue Every wound will shape me Every scar will build my throne
A smirk crossed the pale pink lips of Ardere, as he shifted his left leg back a bit. It appeared that his opponent wished him to make the first move, and so it shall be. As you wish, friend. For the first time since attaining S rank, the fire mage fully powered up. is eyes widened as a black aura shimmered over his body. His muscles tensed a bit, and the black aura spiked, showcasing his full power to match the other god slayer's. And then, it get even stronger as he activated his drive mode. Inferno drive. The black aura intensified, then condensed itself into an almost skin tight coating across his armor and pale skin. Both his speed and fire magic power were increased substantially, but only for a short time unfortunately. This would not be an easy battle, and he could not afford to ease up at any point in time. The guild master ripped off his cloak, tossing it to the wind that carried it away. Only his armor was revealed now. Dashing diagonally to the right several meters, he swiped his blade horizontally towards the other mage, unleashing an eruption of flames from the ground. Flame God's Splitting Edge. This eruption caused mountains of black flames, powered up in all ways by his abilities. The black flames corrupted and ripped apart the earth, as his attack neared his enemy. Even if the man tried to use the mountains to his advantage, Ardere possessed the ability to see through his own flames. But they two were very close anyhow. He was quite interested to see how he reacted to the first attack. The announcer and the crowd went wild as the sun shined bright in the sky. The battle had begun.

His speed is increased by 40%, and his fire spells/abilities are increased by 40% in effectiveness. This Drive is for when he powers up.
Interesting development. Elyx would comment as the Infinity Hydra Guild Master would smile, watching the show begin. The crowd was roaring as the flames would emit from the ground. Their speed was decent, but with Ardere so near, Stella was able to catch wind of him. Speed has increased heavily, the Sky Slayer could feel it running through his veins. I'll just be borrowing this speed for a bit, hope you don't mind. Stella's Excitement! He would think before he would jump back away from the edge of the attack, right out of the boundaries, which he can sense from below as the eruption would occur. Nice start, my turn! The Sky Slayer would announce, placing his palms out, the wind emitting from his palms before that wind would begin to spin around in the shape of a cone. Sky Deity... Tornado Drill! The Golden Phoenix Guild Master would exclaim, moving his palm down. The target was Ardere of course, the tornado spinning violently like a drill. Regardless if it hit or not, if the drill made an impact with the ground, it would begin to shake as the wind is cutting through the earth, sucking up all nearby bits of rock and dirt... And Ardere if he gets too close to it. The damage would not be so damning, but it was still something to be careful about. In the meantime, he would jump around the damaged ground to see where his opponent was, a good 30 meters or so from him so that he had enough time to react if needed. With the distance between them so close, Elyx's speed was going to remain high.
Abilities:
-Sky Deity Nightmare Core: Elyx gains 50% magic attack power with the spells that he makes from his Primary magic.
-Sky Deity Lethal Leech: Anytime damage is inflicted to an enemy due to one of Elyx's primary magic spells, the ones affected by it lose 3% MP as default damage (Rather than effect damage). He then gains that 3% MP.
-Sky Deity Stance: The user is unable to flinch or take knockback. They gain the physical strength of the thing with the most impact and place that strength onto their own.
-Sky Deity Restrict Aura: Those who are considered an enemy to the user takes 5% HP and MP damage while around the user. The user then gains either 3% HP or MP depending on the one chosen by the user. While this can affect multiple beings, this HP or MP gain is set at 3% per turn. Up to 30%, MP and HP can be gained per thread using this effect.
-Sky Deity Repair: Being now half-made from air, his body is designed to self-repair. Elyx has obtained a 5% Health Regen.
-Sky Deity Stream: Elyx's body now obtains a cushion against impacts due to half of him now being the wind, attacks of lower ranking than his own ranking have their damage cut in half. Attacks of equal ranking or higher will inflict normal damage onto him, however.
-Sky Deity Master Supply: The user gains a second MP pool that starts off empty. The MP placed in it can't be touched, and goes up to 50%. The way for this to be filled is that When the user gains MP, that much MP is placed into this extra pool as well. When it is completely filled, this tank disappears and the maximum MP that the user has increased by 50%. This can only be done once per thread, and restarts at the beginning of each thread.
Vivid Dreaming : Whenever you are asleep, you will still be fully aware as though you were awake. You can travel through dreamland and communicate with spirits or other people who are dreaming, though they may dismiss the dream when they wake.
Stats:
Stella's Excitement:
When Elyx is in combat, he can emit a new aura from his body. His magic flow increases heavily and can be sensed by those whose hearts intend to harm the user. A dangerous increase in distance that his magic flow can be sensed by those with those hearts, while those who don't mean any harm to him will only sense him normally. For this heavy cost, there is a plus side. Any attack or being that gets within the range of 50 meters of his existence, whichever is the highest while they are in that range have their speed added onto Elyx's own.

Description: Elyx places out both palms, a tornado forming in front of him, 50 meters up in the air. It slowly lowers down, sucking in all lower ranking mages within 50 meters around it towards it quickly, them being able to escape if their speed boosts allow them to go at 40 MPH. The drill then hits the ground with such devastating force, causing the ground to break under it, all surrounding within 200 meters could feel the ground shake, not that it does anything. Those who were caught in the tornado and those who were hit by the drill would take 125% B rank damage.
Strengths: -The drill inflicts 125 B rank damage to those who get sucked in, or get hit by the drill.
-Lowering ranking mages can get sucked in by this spell.
Weaknesses: -Those lower ranking mages can escape by moving at 40MPH.
-The drill moves slowly, giving mages a warning that it will be dropping to the ground for major impact.
-Those within 200 meters when the drill hits the ground would feel the ground shake, warning them of the presence of Elyx.

Ardere's muscles tightened, he watched as Elyx was able to get just out of the way in time to avoid being damaged by his attack. He expected as much, considering the low rank and thinness of the attack, regardless of it's increased power. This only made the fight that much more exciting! Watching as the man moved, and a drill of wind was unleashed, ripping through the ground towards him. The fire mage was half tempted to use his own drill, but there was no point in wasting valuable mana this early in the fight. Instead, he jumped up a bit, and placed his sword forward. Gripping his right arm tight, black flames swirled around his blade, as a beam was unleashed upon his enemy's attack. Witness the Sword of Power. The massive beam burst straight through the wind drill ripping it apart, and causing a massive explosion. His attack had been weakened in damage, due to the power of the other slayer's attack, but the explosion and shock wave would still be enough to cause a spectacle. Smoke and flames burst across the area. Fortunately, Ardere was not only immune to his own flames, he could see through them. While his opponent's vision would be obscured for a second, his was not. It was almost certain this would not stop his opponent, but it would be useful as a guise for another attack. Stabbing his blade into the ground immediately after the attack, he stayed in the ground while the shock wave rippled throughout the area. His hair and headband flickered in the wind heavily, but he had to push through it to pop off his next attack. His enemy was well within range, but he had to be sure it worked. So during the dust and wind swirling through Domus Flau, he moved forward a good ten meters as he activated a specific spell. 'Flame God's Heatwave.' He thought to himself. It was a spell he had never used in battle before. Hell, he never had a reason to until now. The area around them began to heat up, almost like the place was increasing in temperature. Elyx would feel it, but it wouldn't be completely clear what was going on. It was up to him to decipher the effects of this spell. If his opponent chose to move, so would he. The fight now had become one of time.

Post 4: The target(s) will feel 100% of the effects and will have their strength/speed decreased by 80%. Their blood will be slightly boiling, and all plants will turn to dust. Also, C rank damage is dealt very post, meaning it is A all together, but only A. Another note, the effects do not stack upon the opponent(s), but rather increase.
Looks like Ard was able to handle the first spell with ease, cutting the drill and ending it off with an explosion. Provided Elyx be forced to go all out and inflict as much damage as he could, he would have stacked debuffs to drain his opponent. Instead, he treated this like a turn based battle, awaiting the next move before he made his own. Going by that logic, it would be his turn, now wouldn't it. The first goal was to prevent the incoming heat wave. Stella was by his side, and outline of her body being right next to him to prevent negative effects from harming him. Wat was a Sky God Slayer if they were not immune to debuffs? With that, he would unsheathe his own Blade, Bound Iris, before pointing it forward. Fives swords would be summoned around it, all of which were made of light. Each one moved at the will of Elyx, the five new light blades being puppets, and his kind being the string. He'd then dash towards his opponent at full speed, looking to inflict heavy amounts of damage using the ability of the swords. Each inflicted a fifth of S ranked damage, so that if all hit, one S rank worth of damage was inflicted. They would be shot towards Ardere, preparing to engage him in close melee combat, five on one. Elyx himself was not get involved, regardless if the slashes of the swords were successful or not.

Rank: Users Rank up to S rank
Duration: 8 Posts
Cooldown: 10 Posts
Description: The user can activate this ability to summon five floating swords of light around them. They act according to how the user thinks, and they all cause damage for each strike. They move around like flying pets, but they are under the control of the users mind. Each one inflicts 1/5 of the users rank in damage, so they inflict 1 S rank hit per turn. They can use the same amount of force though when creating attacks, so knockback and defending against blows will be equal to the users rank. The swords float along with the user as they move, and will not go any further than 30 meters away from the user. Whenever they are hit by a magic attack while they are not blocking that attack, the sword that was hit will shatter. Whenever an equal ranking or less melee attack hits one of these swords while the sword is not blocking, the sword that was hit will shatter.
Strengths: -Five blades the spin around the user that is in their control, like five very obedient pets.
-They have the same amount of force as the regular blades would, so knockback and impact reduction remains the same.
Weaknesses: -Each of the blades must be controlled by the users mind. This splits their attention away from the battle if they are not used to this ability.
-The blades each have their power cut into 1/5 each, so if only one lands a hit, only 1/5 of the users rank in damage would be inflicted.
-They can go up to 30 meters, and will not move any further than that. They will just be put to a sudden halt and return to the user.
Since I forgot to mention.:
-Sky Deity Stance: The user is unable to flinch or take knockback. They gain the physical strength of the thing with the most impact and place that strength onto their own.

Ardere watched as Elyx was forced back by the explosion, but he did not seem to be fatigued or injured by the heat wave, in fact he seemed alright. Fortunately his heat wave still dealt damage, even if the debuffs weren't appearing to work. And with his increased magical damage, he had no doubt the other slayer would feel the burn soon enough, he just had to keep pushing until then. It was at this time that five light blades were summoned, prompting the fire mage to ignite his blade into flames, forming a gargantuan flame blade to utilize to his advantage. Nothing the Sword of Kings can't handle. The dark corrupt flames created an almost new blade, ten meters in length, but with no weight to it. He could swing it around to his heart's desire. So as the blades came, he leaped forward. Spinning the massive flame blade in front of him, he created a blazing fan. He could spin the blade at such a high speed, that when the light blades reached him, they were shattered by his powerful flames. Seemingly controlled by the wind mage, if he tried to maneuver them around the guild master, he could swing his blade with ease, or utilize his pyrokinesis on his own flames to protect himself.
Continuing to move forward as he shattered the blades, he needed to keep Elyx within range of his flame damage from the heat wave, and prepared to attack with his blade. Thus, as he shattered the blades, or attempted to, he shot flames out from his feet, bursting himself forward at the speed of 30 meters per second added on to his initial leap forward. This would allow him to move towards his opponent at such a high speed, that he could strike with his flame blade from just under ten meters away, and strike once more from five meters away. So, he shattered the blades, then burst forward to strike twice at his opponent. Flame God's Dash! Ardere had attempted to move himself closer to his opponent, but he expected a counter attack. He had to be prepared to protect himself if need be. The fight was now kicking off!

Being a heavily versatile fighter, Elyx was accustomed to fighting under any form of pressure. This was now going to be a display of just that, Ardere preparing to fight him in melee combat with that dash. The Wizard Saint did not stop him, he did not care to ruin his fun with diversions and traps. Not while it was not needed, and this was a battle the audience wanted to witness. Would not stalling be damaging to the show? So he would flick Bound Iris to the side, spinning it one time towards the right side before swinging it to meet contact with his opponent’s weapon, the clashing causing a light amount of spark to fire off from the metals, but a shockwave from the impact would be enough to crackle the ground below the both of them, as if a mini-earthquake occurred. One thing about Elyx is his Aura, those who get far too close to him pay a small price to be within his presence, the Sky God Slayer aura emitting from his body to damage the health and magic power that his opponent had by default. It was sort of a toll that one had to pay in order to fight closely with him. With that out of the way, Elyx would aim to stab the blade of Bound Iris forward, a huge gust of wind to show his arm speed. The target was to give a poke to the chest with the blade, but with enough impact to send his opponent flying. This meant he held back his physical power, making sure that he did not create a hole inside of his opponent’s chest and possibly through his heart. The tip of the blade would definitely hurt. The impact will damage. But nothing will puncture if successful. His left arm and two legs are stanced carefully, making sure to prepare for a counterattack.

Gliding through the air, the fire mage was met with resistance by Elyx's spirit. Fortunately, he was far enough away from both of them that as he spiraled through the air, he was not affected by any adverse affects, being a good five meters away. Unfortunately even with his increased reaction time and speed, he could only block the attack with his blade, as he was sent tumbling to his left. Twirling through the air, it took a moment to regain his balance, piercing the ground with his flame blade to regain a solid place to stand. Now he was a good fifteen meters away from his opponent. Damn. Standing there with his massive flame blade, he could not take any time to gather himself, he had to counter attack. If there was a chance the other wizard saint could exit his damage range, then he had to ensure that did not occur. His blade had been damaged, but it was put together like the best of the best, it could survive such hellish attacks. Alright friend. If you wish to keep sending me back, then I will ensure that you can't. Flames burst around the god slayer, forming into a samurai armor. But this armor was not his size, it was thirty meters tall, with a seven foot radius around him. This meant he could strike from quite far away. Flame God's Dark Arts: Imperfect Blazing God of Valor. He spoke the words quickly, as he swung the flame blade his armor held, and dashed forward a good seven meters, so he could strike with both the flame blade he held, and his armor's twenty five meter long blade. He swung wildly at least a dozen times within the manner of two seconds, keeping enough distance to not be sent flying back just yet, but enough to hit his opponent. If Elyx was hit by either blade even once, the damage he would suffer would hurt like hell, and if he was hit more than one time he would be in quite the trouble, as the damage over time from his heat wave had now reached a point that it would hurt him. What would he do? The fire king was prepared for anything, with an array of defensive spells ready at any moment. The true fight had engaged, and the audience was going crazy for it.

Name: Flame God Dark Arts: Imperfect Blazing God of Valor Rank: S Type: Fire/Offensive Duration: 7 posts Cooldown: 8 posts Description: The user's body is surrounded by flames that take the shape of Samurai armor holding a sword from the waist up. These massive flames form around the user almost like being inside of a mech, and the user can mentally control it's movements. This form is completed composed of fire, and will deal damage to anything it touches. The user is not safe from damage while inside of the armor, as this spell is offensive not defensive. The sword can break through large structures of it's own size due to destructive power. The form itself is 30 meters tall, and the torso is in a 7 meter radius around the user. The sword is 25 meters in length. The armor is positioned around the user and will always move with him at whatever speed he is moving at, and it's movements will be just as fast as his.
I'm afraid the distance is for your own safety. Sorry to do this to you, man! Elyx would respone back, unsheathing his blade. Light would refract over his body as those words have been said, Quatro inserting the armor into his body. Each slash, they would hit through his body, yet not a single ounce of pain could be felt. The Spirit Armor had been activated. Elyx needed to be very careful, because if he landed a single Melee hit, he downed nearly a third of his health, which on it's own was not too stable without his damage resistance and restoration. His body would not even do so much as flinch, the armor causing a lot of damage mitigation. You are a very good fighter, I can see why you have been listed as a Wizard Saint. Making me use such a technique, can't say anyone else has made me do that before. The Sky Slayer would tell Ard before placing his palm out to the side, a ball of wind forming quickly in it. Totally not Rasengan. While so close to Ard, he found his chance! He would just about blur as he moved his feet quickly. If Ard tried to move, Elyx would try to follow his steps. They were so close to each other as it was, so he did not think he could lose his opponent.
Abilities:
Quatro's Spirit Armor:
A spirit can give humans their power when the human asks for it. Quatro and Stella can't be physically touched until they take a physical form. A spiritual armor can be cast out on Elyx. This armor reduces any melee type of attack damage he receives to 0, even if spells are infused in the attack. In return, however, all melee attacks he executes inflict 0 damage onto any opponent of any sort, including spell-induced melee attacks. On top of this, any melee damage that he inflicts will instead inflict 2x the damage that would be inflicted onto the opponent, onto himself. When activated, this lasts for 10 posts and has a 15 post cooldown.
Melee Damage lockdown set to 0! If Elyx strikes with a melee attack, he takes 300 damage. In return, no melee-damage or any melee hits with spells in them.
-Sky Deity Stream: Elyx's body now obtains a cushion against impacts due to half of him now being wind, attacks of lower ranking than his own ranking have their damage cut in half. Attacks of equal ranking or higher will inflict normal damage onto him however.
This cuts damage in half!
Myosotis Entrance
Quatro and Stella have a role in the fight now. They infuse their bodies with Elyx's, giving him two more body features. A golden crown placed on top of his face, and a pair of angelic wings. However, he is still human and only human. All damage that he takes is cut in half. The damage he inflicts by magic power is increased by 25%.
Damage cut in half again! So 75% damage reduction.
With Ard's Magic boost, his S rank spell inflicts 160 damage. With the mitigation of Elyx, the damage is reduced to 40. Then with Elyx's Regen...
-Sky Deity Repair: Being now half-made from air, his body is designed to self-repair. Elyx has obtained a 5% Health Regen.
Which is amplified by the effects of his Magic items, increasing effectiveness by 50%, and the Regen is set to 7.5% per post.
So he gains 61 Health every other turn, which sets the health back to it's original amount.
Oh, in case you were wondering, Elyx does not flinch against opponents attacks.
-Sky Deity Stance: The user is unable to flinch or take knockback. They gain the physical strength of the thing with the most impact and place that strength onto their own.
Name: Sky Deity's Contract: Finalé Rank: S Type: Offense Duration: Instant Cooldown 3 Posts Description: Elyx places both of his palms out to the sides, palms facing upwards. He creates two spinning spheres of wind in each palm, the spinning so violent that the air around it vibrates. He charges at a target before pressing the spheres of winds against a target. The targets body is blown away upon impact, inflicting S rank damage to them. They are sent spinning in a spiral like a bullet. The explosion of wind is so devastating that all those within 300 meters will feel it. Though this does not do any damage, it will definitely strike some intimidation for those not used to feeling that devastation.
Strengths: -Elyx sends the target flying when he presses the compressed spheres of wind against the opponent, inflicting S rank damage to them.
Weaknesses: -He has to charge at the target by running, giving them a chance to react if they see him coming at them.
-Elyx can be stopped if he is hit while using this spell, making him fall over.
This is totally not the Rasengan while Ard is so close to Elyx! This is a spell!

Ardere tightened his grip on the crimson blade, watching as his samurai armor struck through his opponent. Elyx was not gravely harmed, probably due to some hellish defense, but he could see the singe marks. The flames would ware down on him eventually, he only had to hold on. But that was far easier said than done, seeing as the sky slayer was his strongest opponent yet, rivaling even Heero's strength. You're pretty powerful yourself. Let's see who comes out on top then! The fire mage prepared for an attack, readying himself. Invoking the use of some more resourced, he felt himself power up even more than before, and hopefully it would be enough. However he did not expect his enemy to charge him, with a ball of wind no less, and even into his armor which did deal damage. How ballsy. While with his perception boost and fair distance, he could see his opponent coming, the sky slayer was still faster than he was, meaning he'd only get one instinctive reaction. The react he chose, was to stick his hand out as if he was punching. His foe could not see or really smell in these flames, and his arm movement made no noise, but the fire king could see, and he used this to his advantage to make his move. His hand collided with Elyx's, negating the spell formed in his hands, while also propelling the Fire King with an intense speed. Impressive. I know you can't be knocked back, but how about being pushed?! This spiraling rocket of flames, combined with the flames of his samurai armor, would burn the sky slayer like he had never been burned before, as he was pushed back towards the wall. This all happened in an instant, with the negation and the rocket fire at an intense speed, that it was highly unlikely he opponent would be able to stop it. This was also the last turn his heat wave ability would burn the other mage. During this burst towards the wall, the guild master used his off hand, the one not performing the spell, to swing his sword at the man. Flame God's Crash! It was fitting that the spell he used to make a stand was his first signature spell, a spell he carried even from his old magic; the Promethean Flame. The effects of whatever aura he had before were sure to hurt, but if the sky god slayer could not move, he would be smashed into the wall with an intense velocity sure to break bones. And this damage would not come from his melee, but the sheer force of being pushed at 100 meters per second by a rocket of flames. This has been a hell of a battle. Let's give it our all!

Disassemble:
Name: Disassemble Rank: S Type: Energy/Defensive (Crash) Duration: Instant Cooldown: 2 posts Description: The user touches an offensive enemy spell, while channeling crash energy in his hand or fingertips. This energy provides a 1 meter shield around the user's hand which will protect their hand from damage when touching the spell. As soon as the energy hits the spell, it will overload the magical energy within the spells, and cause it to disperse into pieces making it unusable. This can be used on a spell of a rank higher, like a normal defensive spell.
Crash:
Name: Flame God's Crash Rank: Ranks with user (Currently A) Type: Fire/Offensive Duration: Instant Cooldown: 2 posts Description: The user punches, propelling himself with flames that surround his body at 100 m/s. These flames surround his body in a 9 meter radius outwards from his body, and leave a stream (120 m long max) behind his body. If hit by the punch, minor burns and bruising will occur, as well as a knockback of 30 m. If hit by the stream/burst of flames, only minor burns will occur. The stream only lasts the one post. (He is basically the front of a flaming cylinder to punch his opponent with)
The contract had been sealed, an interesting sealing spell that Ard had. Fortunately, it was not in vain. A sudden boost would be given to him all of a sudden, and he would then feel the magic presence of his opponent increase among the flames. It was not that hard to sense others, and when they trigger a spell, they tend to have their magic flow increased for that moment. And Elyx was running already, so he would just continue to run while the attack was sent. Since his speed was higher than his opponents since the Sky Slayer leeched the speed of Ard, he would narrowly avoid the attack. It probably will take a bit of strength to redirect himself, and the Sky Slayer would take advantage of this. He would quickly take in the air around him into his lungs before spitting it out in a huge spinning spiral of cutting wind. Sky Deity Bellows! With that, he was pretty close to Ard anyways, and it moved a decent speed. Even if he did see it coming, considering the momentum that his opponent had and the fact that the bellows was coming from behind, Elyx figured that it would be extremely difficult to avoid his own attack. And if it was avoided, he would just continue to launch spells to carry out a barrage. There were plenty of mana recovering things he had.
Abilities:
No need to really mention the boost increases due to the leeching abilities. x3
The regen doesn't trigger this post, and so that flame wall does damage this post Damage reduction still applies!
Name: Sky Deity's Bellows Rank: S Type: Offense Duration: Instant (Bleeding Effect, 3 Turns) Cooldown: 9 Turns Description: Elyx compresses air within his stomach, breathing in deep before breathing out with all the force he can. All of the air compressed becomes a violent spinning wind that has a radius of 75 meters. The spiraling winds travel a distance of 100 Meters and at 150 MPH. The direction of the roar can't be changed by the user. Any attack of S ranking will not stop this spell unless it is an Rock based attack, or done so by a demon slayer who casted out an equal ranking spell. Those caught by this attack obtain a Bleed effect, making them lose 5% HP for three turns. The spell inflicts 75% S ranked damage rather than the regular 100.
Strengths: -The violent winds travel at a devastating 100 meters at 150 MPH.
-A 75 meter radius to hit multiple opponents rather than solely a couple of them.
-Bleeding effect applies 5% HP damage per turn after they are hit by this spell. Weaknesses:
-The Winds must travel in one direction only, the direction Elyx chose to fire them at.
-Elyx must breathe in and compress the air within his stomach first before he could fire the roar.
-The wind can hit both allies and enemies alike, and even the user if they aren’t careful.
-Bleeding effect only works on opponents hit by this spell. SS ranked mages lose 2.5% of their health with the Bleeding effect rather than the usual 5. H rank or higher mages are immune to the Bleeding.
With this, if it strikes, Ardere will bleed. For 3 posts, he will lose 5% of his health. Also, no spells of S rank or lower can stop the bellows x3

Ardere went to strike at Elyx, but his attack just barely scraped against him. The fire mage was still flung forward at one hundred meters per second, he could not stop this, the punch was already made. As he was launched forward, he could hear the wind behind him. Looking back, he noticed an attack following him. By the time he reached his destination one hundred meters out, all he had to do was step back while turning around to avoid it. Using his pyrokinesis, he flattened his armor so it was not struck during this. The fire mage was now quite far away from his opponent, and he stared at him from afar. That wasn't bad, but this fight is far from over, so let's keep going! He had to admit, even amidst the close calls, he quite enjoyed the fight thus far. He had dealt some damage to his opponent, but even if the sky mage was injured, the fire mage was the one losing mana. They each had their own advantages, but if he didn't watch himself he could lose sooner than he hoped.
Taking no time after his statement, he readied himself. His samurai armor formed back to it's original size and shape. The Fire King was ready to fight. Standing there, with his massive armor around him, Ardere motioned for Elyx to come at me. Come at me. Taking a fighting stance, he goaded his opponent to take on the offensive. The wind mage was a very skilled defensive fighter, but the fire mage had some tricks up his sleeve. He just had to wait it out until he could get past some of his abilities. Either the other slayer came at him with an attack of his own, or they both stood around looking like idiots. The crowd didn't seem to care, they continued their cheering and stomping.

Pyrokinesis:
Pyrokinesis: (Active) The earliest of fire magic abilities, allowing one to control flames both magical and non magical. While this is an ability many fire mages can learn, the Kasai clan is born with it due to the power they were given by Prometheus. It is a purely mental control of flames, comparable to a psychic ability but with fire. Other such ones include cryokinesis or telekinesis. During the duration of the post that he uses it on one ability, he can shape the fire into any shape he wants, but he can never change the amount of fire, that will be however much was put by the user or the natural flame. Note: The user cannot control the flames of a fire mage who is a rank higher than them, or spells a rank higher than them.
Well, if that was how it was going to be, he'll gladly do it. But that did not mean he was going to do it alone. Aiyana was going to have to have a role in the battle, because Elyx focused more on defense. Ard made him use his Celestial keys by not letting the Lerale being defend himself before countering. So now he could use Aiyana's abilities and possibly even take advantage of Celestial Fire. One thing that Elyx noticed was that the only thing left for his opponent was magic... And he was actually able to take that away from him as well. Perhaps he should aim to use that instead. It was going to require a bit of his own magic, but he felt that it would definitely have a lot more use. Flicking out Aiyana's key, he would then activate the effect of "Star Suit." With it, he would end up having his body glowing in bright white light, the crowd standing up to see what had been going on. His body was morphing a bit in the bright light before he had been brought back down with a set of fox ears and a numerous amounts of tails. Ard wanted him to play offensive, and the only offensive moves he knew were transformative ones with powerful abilities. Aiyana had to be the strongest key, so he was just serving what had been asked of him. Next, he needed to make sure that his opponent could not react too well. Items were a thing, but not while Elyx said otherwise.
It was a big move, but it was definitely a lot more for a performance if anything. Placing his palms forward, he would emit the dark energy from his H rank spell and mixed it with his S rank spell to cause a new aura to form around his body. It would let out an invisible atmosphere that spread around the arena. The items around him with abilities that did not belong to Elyx would end up being null, and that applied to anyone who might have been on the stands, and not just Ardere. It also applied to the primary magic abilities, which also end up getting nulled to nothing for the long duration as well. With that, he would then give his opponent one quick look, a smile on his face. As you wish, I wish you the best of luck. He would place his palm upwards, the element of frostfire forming above him before it took the shape of a spear, extremely huge before launching it down onto his opponent with a mighty amount of force. Before he lost too much energy, he would use "Sky Deity Regret" to gain back some magic power.
Summary:
Prepare yourself, this is going to take a bit.
First, he used Star Suit on Aiyana's key, giving him her primary abilities for the rest of this fight.
Star Suit:
Star Suit: The user has the option to use this ability rather than summon a Celestial Spirit. In order to use this however, they pay the regular amount of MP required in order to summon that key when using this. This can only be used on one key at a time. The user gains the abilities and similar clothing to the Spirit they use this ability on. The user also gains magic power effectiveness on their primary magic depending on the ranking of the key used for this spell.
Effectiveness: The amount of impact a magic has. As it increases, so does the power of an offensive spell increases, the healing of a healing spell increase, etc.
D Rank: 5% Effectiveness C Rank: 10% Effectiveness B Rank: 15% Effectiveness A Rank: 20% Effectiveness S Rank: 25% Effectiveness
The user while in this form is considered a Celestial Spirit. Naturally, the Star Suit lasts for the same duration as the user as well as the cooldown. If this is used, the key that this ability has affected can't be summoned until the cooldown has finished. This ability while being used is considered a summon, and takes up one summon space.
So you asked Elyx to attack, which he definitely does not go for without setting a leverage. As it is, his melee reduction lineage ability is still up for a while. So of course, he decides to ALSO limits Ardere's Primary Magic abilities and his items abilities. Basically, none of them are allowed to be used now for the long 20 post duration.
Koushin no Shichiseigyo:
Name Koushin no Shichiseigyo
Rank: H + S
Type: Offensive/Supportive
Fused Spells Sky Deity Divine Existence + Sky Deity True Control
Description: Overwhelming darkness, too much power is swarming through his veins, the darkness is practically screaming to be released at this point. For an H rank mage, this is impossible to contain. And so a new nightmare is revealed, taking the host that is the Sky Deity Slayer as it's a puppet for one moment of freedom. The only noticeable difference when he enters this form is the color of his eyes. They are no longer light brown, but a constant flashing of colors. While in this form, the user is able to shut down the abilities of H rank or lower weaponry or items that are within 200 meters of range, rendering them practically useless. Mages of H rank or lower (Event NPC's excluded) within 150 meters of the range are unable to use their primary magic Unique abilities, and existing ones are negated (Active ones with a duration aren't affected by this). Neither two of these abilities for this spell can be ignored unless done so by that of an H rank mage, in which only then Effect Control related things can ignore this. The cost of the S-rank spell must be paid for, this spell fusion does not have a reduced magic price.
Duration: 15 Posts
Cooldown: Thread
Strengths: -No Primary Magic Unique Abilities may be used when within 150 meters of the user. -No Weapon or Item abilities may be used or active while within 200 meters of the user.
Weaknesses: -This affects allies as well -Targets must be within the said ranges for this to work -The full price of the normally reduced S-rank spell must be paid -Effect Controls of H rank can help avoid this ability -Armors are not affected by this spell.
Basically, Elyx locked down your primary magic and your items abilities, including their boosts and abilities that are active.
With that, he would then use one of Aiyana's abilities, Frostfire make. It's pretty much a free magic attack of his rank, which is H rank. With this, he made a giant spear of Frostfire from above him and fired it down onto Ardere.
Frostfire-Make:
- Frostfire Make: The user of the magic can create the special element at will and is able to use it for any circumstance when out of battle. When in battle, however, the user can use it to deal spell damage equal to the rank of the user once per post. If need be, the magic user may defend with the element instead, blocking one spell equal to the rank of the user. (Out of combat may be used infinitely. In combat, may use it either for offense or defense once per post.)
And in case you were wondering, I did get Aiyana's permission to do this for his Star Suit, just gaining their Primary magic abilities. And this is Frostfire, not fire. It's a completely different element from fire, rather than just ice and fire mixing. Just to clarify. This inflicts 315 damage with the boost.
Sky Deity's Regret:
Name: Sky Deity’s Regret Rank: D Type: Support Duration: 3 Turns Cooldown: 4 Turns
Description: While this spell is active, the user gains 5% Magic Power per turn. They are unable to attack on the turn this spell was used, and they are unable to use any other supporting spells until after the next turn after this spell was activated.
Strengths:
-5% Magic power per turn while this spell is active. Plain and simple.
Weaknesses:
-Unable to use supporting spells until 2 posts after this spell was activated.
-No attacks can be used on the turn this spell was activated.
5% MP gain per post for 3 posts.
Another thing to be mentioned, the 25% Effectiveness from Star Suit increases the HP Regen from 7.5% to 8.75%, or 72 HP per turn.
Health: 825/825 MP: 55%

Ardere felt the surge in his body, several of his abilities began to shut down. It was almost jarring to feel the loss of power. Many still stayed active, but he could tell that his opponent had used some sort of extremely powerful spell. This sort of effect was unlike any he had ever encountered, just proving how powerful the other slayer actually was. But he could not let it stop him, as an attack began to form above him. Using his pyrokinesis, he opened up a whole in his armor, as the frostire spear rained down. Flame God's Cloak! Forming a cloak around his entire body, the spear struck him. It was heavily resisted, but the icy flames still smacked into his body, dealing some damage to him. He was far from down at this point, but his armor and clothes looked tattered, as well as some bruises across his body. Damn, that actually hurt a bit. He muttered, under his breath. Placing his hands down, he began to form a fire ball in front of him, but angled towards the ground a bit. A massive sphere of black corrupt flames began to form, but it was not only powered up by his abilities, Ardere used his last bit of pyrokinesis to add his armor flames to the sphere. This ball of flames burst forth at a speed of 80 meters per second, making it next to impossible to dodge. With the impact against the ground and the addition of the armor's flames, the black fire would reach around in a 150 meter area, literally incinerating everything in it's path. Flame God's Dark Arts, Flame Emperor! The crater that this spell would leave was increased in power as well, by both the flames and his abilities, meaning the crater would be a 220 meter area instead of the normal 150. Essentially, the entire arena floor, aside from the stands, was turned into a crater. There was almost no time or way to avoid this, and it was likely the two would fall, unless Elyx had something up his sleeve. Regardless, they were not left with much room to fight in, and the announcers began evacuations from the arena just in case the mountain Domus Flau sat upon became unstable. The viewers could watch the rest of the fight with lacrima vision if they wished. I've got to hand it to you, no one has ever put me on edge like this. But I wont back down so easily! Breathing heavily, the damage taken earlier and his lack of mana had made him a bit tired. The fire king had to admit, even if he lost here, he had quite the bit of fun. But unfortunately he might have to pay a hell of a fine seeing as the arena floor was destroyed, and within a matter of minutes the arena would be evacuated.

Cloak:
Name: Flame God's Cloak Rank: A Type: Fire Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 6 posts Description: A full body length cloak forged of pure black flames forms across the user's shoulders. This cloak can be used in a purely defensive manner, covering the entire body if need be. The cloak is treated as purely fire based, meaning it will always give off some sort of light, but being made of a more physical flame, it can be used to block physical attacks if need be. It can take up to two A rank spell attacks worth of damage before being destroyed, otherwise it lasts until the end of the duration. Strengths:
Strong to ice, metal and nature magic.
Weaknesses:
Weak to water and earth magic. Only defensive in nature.
Fireball:
Name: Flame God's Dark Arts: Flame Emperor Rank: S Type: Fire/Offensive Duration: Instant Cooldown: 7 posts Description: The user summons a massive ball of black flames in front of his hand that has a diameter of 100 meters. This fire ball is fired off at 80 m/s towards whatever target the user has in mind. This massive ball of flames can bust through buildings of it's own size, and when it hits leaves a massive crater of equal size. A person hit by this spell would be injured severely with flesh withering away from the corruption of the god slayer flames. Strengths:
Strong to ice, nature, and metal. If hitting the ground or a surface, it creates a crater 30 meters further in all directions of the point of impact. (Instead of a crater the exact size of the fire ball, it is 30 meters more) Massive destructive force, could level city blocks.
Weaknesses:
Weak to earth and water magic. (halves effects) Can only be fired in one direction. Due to size, could easily harm allies. Massive spell means it can be seen coming from far away, makes the user an easy target and the spell easier to perceive.
The next attack to occur was something pretty brutal actually, but it looked interesting at the same time. All of those flames, he wondered how much effect they would actually have on him. Elyx would have to amend the fact that Ardere is not backing down in the battle. It was an interesting thing, persistence, but if it was able to gain him progress, he'll let it happen. They were fast flames, but Elyx was also just as fast. He might have not been able to dodge it, but he sure as hell was not going to do that to his opponent. A satisfying feeling was deserved, landing a direct hit. Unfortunately, his body did not move when the huge impact of fire occurred. Instead, he would just hang his head down calmly as he let the flames burn his body, his own body protecting him from the immense amount of danger that he was exposed to while staying in the fire. Once that had been done, he would then open up his light brown eyes before then placing his palm out to summon another giant spear of Frostfire, launching it forward towards Ard. Meanwhile, he'd then flick out a Celestial key, moving from his Primary magic to his Secondary magic, Celestial Spirit summoning. I open the key of the Chronicle Neko. Come forth, Lindsey! He'd swipe the key downwards as he would open the gate that would allow himself to summon the Celestial Neko, the green-haired playful furball. Nya! Let's do this! Elyx!? Waiting for an order, he would then point towards his mouth. She knew what to do from this point.
Aye Nya! I gotcha! Lindsey Wind Spear! The Neko would exclaim, firing a spinning sphere of wind towards his direction. The slayer would open his mouth and breathe in heavily, intaking the sphere into his stomach and filling himself up from that moment, giving himself some more power. In doing this, Lindsey was not able to attack his opponent for the turn. But the more magic power that he was able to obtain, the better. Elyx was all about fueling up the magic power that he needed very badly. And now he was gaining it. The secondary tank was being filled up, he might actually hit God Force soon at this rate if the battle did not end. Of course, chances are, he probably won't use it if Ardere can't enter his own God Force. It just felt very unfair.
Spoiler:
All right! So since the Frostfire spell was successful, Aiyana's OTHER effects come into play.
Frostfire Mana Leech:
- FrostFire Mana Leech: When a spell lands on an opponent, the frostfire magic leeches part of the affected person's magic power(or whatever they use for their abilities) and it is granted to the user. The mana leeched is dependant on the rank of the spell used. (D=5%, C=5%, B=5%, A=10%, S=10%, H=20%) Mana leeched this way is treated as frostfire element eaten towards force.
And so Elyx would have taken 20% MP from Ardere since the spear landed it's attack, and it was an H rank attack. However, since this was not mentioned last post, he may keep his 20% MP, but Elyx will gain 20% MP as well.
Celestial Feed:
Celestial Feed: Whenever a Celestial Spirit lands a successful strike onto an opponent, the user gains 3% MP. This can only be used to gain 6% MP maximum per turn. Each Celestial Spirit can only add 3% to this ability, regardless of how many hits they make in a post.
Because of the Star Suit ability, Elyx himself identifies as a Celestial Spirit. This means he gains 3 MP because he was able to land a successful hit with the Frostfire Spear.
Elyx took the hit of the flames without a resistance to them, not taking knockback, nor flinching as he would then use the Frostfire-Make to strike at Ard with the same spear again.
Then there is his Secondary Magic, which was Celestial Spirit summoning, in which he would use to summon Lindsey. She would send an A rank wind attack to Elyx, which he ate.
Unknown Key Lindsey:
A-Rank Spell Name: Lindsey Rank: A Duration: 8 Posts Cooldown: 10 Posts Type: Summon Description: Adorable playful little Lindsey is one of the strongest Celestial Spirits among the rest of them. An energetic little Neko who runs around playfully and tends to doze off into naps. However, her fighting abilities are beyond the comprehension of the human mind. Her speeds are hard to even come close to touching, matching it is just too rough of a story. On top of that, she is able to fight with weaponry as she carries a dagger by her left hip, and on her right leg is a sheathe that holds two more just in case one fails. With this, she is able to move quickly and strike quick, often taking down opponents before battles can even start. The ultimate speedster to have around, Lindseys strikes and attack power are something that one will never be able to understand, but most certainly appreciate.
Lindsey has a happy go lucky attitude towards the world, refusing to let anything bring her down. An Optimist. And anything that bugs her, she just simply eliminates since she refuses to be bothered. A great and maybe somewhat weird Neko, but she means well and certainly does not mean any harm. A very lazy Neko as well, she often is shown just waking up when summoned from the Celestial Spirit World when summoned. However, when she is awoken, she is a very playful Neko, whether in combat or just simply hanging around. Whenever one is feeling down or needs something done fast, she is the one to go to.
Strengths: -Fast on her feet, she can get many tasks done quickly.
-Great Martial Arts fighter as well, and she can even use weapons as well. A smart and versatile fighter.
-Happy and charismatic with everyone she meets, she tends to bring the mood up whenever it is low.
Weaknesses: -A bit too playful, she might follow whatever she thinks is best if not given an order by the summoner.
-Too fast for her own good, sometimes she might not see where she is going. Then she'd crash or trip.
-Wisdom Lack, on her own, her wisdom is rather low. She is a very reliant Celestial Spirit.
-Being a Neko, her definition of normal is different from the average humans, so she is not the best for situations that require stealth.
Appearance:
Lindsey's Abilities:
Passive Ability: Being a fast one, she and all that she considers an ally will receive a 50% movement speed boost. Lindsey is able to manipulate the air. Attacks made of air equal or less than her rank can be manipulated by Lindsey, allowing her to do whatever she wants with it.
Active Ability: Lindsey holds up her Dagger into the air, and a huge wave of light magic is shot from it. Those who get hit by it's 75 meter radius will take A rank damage and lose 10% Speed.
Strengths: -A wave of light that inflicts A rank damage to opponents who are up to 75 meters away.
-10% reduction in speed to those who get hit by it.
Weaknesses: -This affects allies and enemies alike, so one must be careful when firing the wave.
-Lindsey may fire this off on her own, and like said before, she doesn't have the best of wisdom.
-A dagger must be available for her to hold up into the air for this ability to activate.
Sky Deity Master Supply:
-Sky Deity Master Supply: The user gains a second MP pool that starts off empty. The MP placed in it can't be touched, and goes up to 50%. The way for this to be filled is that When the user gains MP, that much MP is placed into this extra pool as well. When it is completely filled, this tank disappears and the maximum MP that the user has increases by 50%. This can only be done once per thread, and restarts at the beginning of each thread.
And remembering the last post, Elyx currently gains 5% MP per post for 3 posts, this being the second one. 10% right there. The Leeching ability brings this up to 30%. Elyx eating Lindsey's Wind gives 10% MP. And Celestial Feed puts it up by another 3. The tank is at 43% MP. Once it gets to 50, the Maximum MP increases to 150% and Elyx gains 50 MP. The MP in the tank is not in yet, so you have no need to worry about it yet.

Twirling Clarent between his fingers, Ardere slammed the sword into the earth as he slid down the massive crater he had created with his attack. The arena was finishing it's evacuations, and the two mages had scrambled to not fall into the crater. There was not much arena left to fight in, which he was sure he'd have to pay out the ass for, but during the tournaments and grand magic games held here, it was expected when two mages of this caliber entered the arena, hence the need for an ark of time mage from the council or rune knights, perhaps even the king, to be present. Hanging there, he smiled towards his opponent. The fight was nearing the close, and he held out his hand, a quarter of the way down the crater. It's been fun Elyx. Truly a fight worthy of God of Ishval. I only hope Deniel approves, wherever he may be. But it's time to end this. Sparks scattered through the fire mages eyes as he held out his hand and with crash magic, he spelled out the letters "Good Game". Then, those letters became the catalyst for his final attack. Within the blink of an eye, the magical particles in the air for two hundred meters, split. Like some sort of tactical nuke, there was an instant explosion. This explosion ripped through the edges of the crater, and the mountain below them began to crack and slide, but most importantly; the arena began to collapse in on itself. Dragging himself onto a piece of rock, he used what little strength he had left to propel himself upwards, onto a large chunk of the arena. The crater was filled with pieces of Domus Flau, and if Elyx did not move, he would be crushed by them. Good fight, friend. Laying there on the ground, out of magical power, he exhaled deeply. Ardere was not knocked out, but the magical sickness gave him one hell of a headache. He could not help but chuckle. The audience watched in awe at the base of the mountain and in the town below, the final moments of the fight being projected by lacrima.
S-Rank Spell Name: Molecular Overload Rank: S Duration: Instant Cooldown: 5 posts Type: Offensive/Energy Description: The user taps into the molecules as well as the energy in the air, and overloads it, creating a massive explosion in front of himself. (Literally makes the particles in the air explode) This explosion will send all enemies flying back 10 meters, and break bones due to the explosive force. Disintegrating or splitting all in it's path, including magical particles. The explosion is a 200 m area, and travels at 100 m/s. Strengths:
Elementally strong to solid elements; Earth and Metal. Powerful AoE attack Makes an easy exit, powerful offensive explosion.
Weaknesses:
User must make a movement to initiate the spell. Can easily harm allies. If under 30% health, the user can harm himself with this spell. Very unstable explosion, not recommended to use inside or can harm the user inadvertently.
Seeing as the task had been done, Ardere would then say that it had been a good game, and that it was all over. And all that the Sky Slayer wanted was a good meal. Lindsey would end up tossing him another attack of wind, in which he would end up eating happily as all nine of his tailed would move up and down in excitement. All of a sudden, he felt the second supply of magic power enter through his veins, and his eyes would end up being shot up in excitement. Very well done though, you have a lot of potential! It was a great fight indeed. He could not forget the fact that the mission they had back at the mansion was when they would end up having their abilities pit up against a vampire, and Elyx was the one who was knocked out. During the days of a Lerale mage, that was just about all that he had in his body. And the one who would carry him off of the arena was the same being that he had beaten in a battle. There wsa no way that could be taken away from Ardere, how much stronger than him that Ardere was at that point. Come on dude. The Reiaki would offer. He could not shut down the lockdown on his own, or anything still active. It was something that was off about his magic, it was not able to finish itself off at his command. It was fine though, he would prefer it that way anyways. Hopefully Deniel was enjoying the match, wherever he was. this battle was dedicated towards him anyways, and this was just a little extra reward that Elyx was able to obtain at the end of it. It placed a smile on his face to get such a beautiful gift, but this was more of a tribute at the end of the day. The people evacuated from the scene, but watched at a safe distance as they would begin to cheer. With that, he would end up bowing formally in front of them like he had finished a concert. Once he lifted his head up, he would attempt to both support Ard's balance and make him look like a victor by making an attempt to hold his hand and raise it up into the air.
Summary:
Elyx won! Yay! xD
Lindsey Fed Elyx MP, which then filled up the tank to 50%, setting the Maximum MP bar up by 50% and adding that 50% MP.

Fluff: Mysterious winds tossed at red locks of hair as a solemn figure sat on the edge of a nebulous cloud overlooking the world at the highest reaches of its atmosphere she could bother with in a personal sphere of creation that she had secluded herself to here far above the natural world below. One knee was raised up, foot at the edge, her other leg dangling off as one arm rested on her knee and held her face in her palm.
Two snow white wings, feathered and beautiful, slowly shifted around either side of her, opening and closing slightly, while a separate set of deep black and red leather wings stretched out behind her under the feathered pair and spread out across the cloud behind her. A long spear-tipped red tail bore through the cloud and curled anxiously back and forth where it poked through. The woman's other hand was raised, gliding a finger along the curves of her long complete set of horns protruding from her head that nearly touched the vivid halo that remained locked in place over her in a wide translucent ring.
Her fingers brushed up and passed through the manifestation of celestial divinity as though it wasn't there, the halo. Whole, complete. Shining with golden light where what once was a broken crescent that glowed a dull sinister red over the small half-horn she once had. The new soul that had completed her burned inside her, a union of two halves that formed a divine whole, in a conflict of wills that she had managed to come out on top of.
Deniel. A life that was now as much her own as her own past. She was there, she did live through these memories that ran through her head. They were hers... because they were his. Where was the line. She could feel the corruption of his existence that had worked its way into her heart even after weeks of resistance and trying to clear herself of the tainted will. Her mind was not what it was before, aspects of that man had become aspects of herself. She could feel a wanderlust and a sense of restlessness, of challenge. Denielle. Eris scoffed, an identity that pulled at her mind. A new name for a new being. She'll have to create an outlet for these urges drawn out by this new personality.
Eris looked down at her two hands, fingers curling into fists and relaxing. Tension and restlessness nagged at her like she hadn't felt in centuries. A hot strain that ran down her spine and through her arms and legs, her body begging her to express herself. If she had nerves they'd be on fire, but the mental sensation was the same. She had tried to separate herself from the world for a few hours of peace and distance among the stars in a useless gesture. Burring herself in her schemes and in her crafts, working with creating new life and new horrors at the altar of her necromancy, it hadn't helped as much as she would hope and she had to try something new.
From her perch however, she could see the lights flickering across the planet. Not of torches or the artificial light science was spreading through earthland, but the burn of magic. From this vantage she could see it all, like stars speckling the land. She could trace some specks of light to the senses in the back of her mind, her expanded consciousness filtering out those who spoke her name or petitioned her in their rituals or invoking her name in their spells as witches gathered around cauldrons or bonfires, as cultists gathered around altars and sacrificial pits. Some small influence of hers reaching out and lending support to them that they magnified through their faith to work their magic or "miracles".
Ever since she fused with him however, she could feel new voices speaking new names. Deniel, Decayuss. A new connection that was a part of her. She had not acknowledged them until now in her moment of self reflection and her thoughts running through her mind. The voices calling his name were loud, a sense of respect and even reverence filled her as she looked down on the earth and saw a light brighter than most shining from Fiore. She could, through their invocation of the name, see the crowds gathered in the stands and the city at their backs atop an arena that stood tall over the capital Crocus. Two men fighting as she watched from every angle, a presence unfelt, unseen, but all encompassing within her sphere of awareness like a snow globe.
She watched the ribbons and intricate knots of their magic unfold before her eyes, information written in the flames of her vision describing their magics as they flared to life in their battle. It felt rather one sided, and ended with little violence or spectacle compared to what could have been. A nagging sensation crept into her mind, and a sense of irony. A fight in Deniel's name. Her name. None were aware of that man's true fate. His conflict with Eris was brief and intense taking place above the city of Era amid mass panic and death, that it was his dying wish that cast her army back into hell and pulled back from hell the countless lives she had claimed that day, buildings themselves pulling themselves back together brick by brick. Eris held a measure of respect for the wish, and on top of having to come to grasp what she herself had become from the exchange she had left Era in peace since that day.
Eris's cloud disappeared beneath her as she stood straight relative to the earth below her. She rubbed her temple, her eyes closed in thought and reflection as her wings melted away, vibrant red hair draining of color as it grew out longer, floating out around her head in the weightlessness of the vacuum she was now in, the color continuing to drain in a wave that spread across her body until she was the snow-white figure known as Death, as Eris, what the people had come to believe as herself. Her eyes remained closed as the last color disappeared from her body and she reigned her thoughts back into order. When she opened her eyes again there was no trace of the lost melancholy of before, only a spark of fire that flickered within her gaze and a wicked smirk spread. An opportunity presented itself, and she was feeling a flare for the dramatic.

More relevant:
Stepping out from an unseen crack in the air behind a pillar Eris appeared in a single fluid step from her position among the stars to stand among the crumbling of stone a shadow appeared through the cloud of debris and dust behind the pair of mages. where small rocks, bricks, or the remains of statues and stadium seating fell they merely passed through her body unphased as though she were a ghost, embers and faint wisps of smoke wafting around the path of the ruins. As quickly as her shadow appeared against the cloud her body dissipated out to either side like an illusion. Her body vanishing, not invisible but intangible, her existence stretched out in her gaseous form that it could not be seen, blended with the air itself as she stalked forward.
As she got close however there was an immediate and violent reaction. All at once Eris's aura was unbound. All her power came reared up in full presentation the likes of which she had never willingly shown. Light died instantly, the sum dimmed and twisted in on itself like an eclipse, becoming a golden halo burning with red tendrils that spread a crimson light, casting a bloody visage down on the area below while trees and the hair of the bystanders rustled from the wind rushing out away from Eris. Color drained from the land, becoming shades of grey, black, and red. An intense unearthly chill spread out with the winds sending a spike of sheer horror through to the core souls of all the men and women of the city. Birds flying overhead fell to the ground, dying in mass along with all the insects and vermin, all the cats and dogs, and infant lives failing in the arms of their mothers who had come to watch the event along with those who were still at home tending to their families.
A coldness spread across Eris's face as she let herself appear. Where she once was feeling playful and mischievous, content on causing some chaos and toying with the two, she now felt only resentment. How dare a mortal force her to unveil herself. Biting her lip Eris raised a hand to run through her hair and she forced herself to smile with a light chuckle and step closer, clapping her hands slowly on her approach. A breeze tossed her snow white hair, it was obvious to anyone who wasn't living under a rock who this was. Her appearance was tied to so many tragedies not just in Fiore, but across all of Earthland. The white woman, an omen of death, carried out by her hand. Wherever she walked, whole nations were at risk.
"I admit I couldn't have expected any man to be capable tearing my seal. I'm sure Deniel would be impressed, we've gotten to know each other so well after all. We've been so intimate since we met in the skies above Era." Her body erupted as four wings emerged from her back, but she forced herself to control her form. Her skin turned black and her hair became ethereal ribbons of smoke, masking her true appearance. Her eyes blazed, fires consuming her eyes showing empty sockets with little pin points of flame serving as her eyes, a ruby glimmer just barely noticeable behind the flames in the very back of her sockets. Her horns emerged, her halo bright, the pure witness of the angelic wings and the golden glow of her halo seemed to cause a sense of disharmony and chaos as they conflicted with the blackness of her body, the empty sockets of fire, and the horns, tail, and smaller leather wings of a demon.
Her aura however could be felt in its full force, intensely unnerving, unearthly, unnatural, unholy... while still being holy, somehow divine. Angelic, demonic, a goddess. Certain flavors of her aura could be felt that echoed the sense of Deniel, as though he were present somewhere in the chaos. After a momentary delay, fiery runes blazed into existence in a stream of symbols like a snake that slowly had begun to crawl up one of her legs, while another ribbon started to appear from the tip of one of her white wings, slowly spreading.
"ş̭̜̪̟͕̘̜̇ͥ̿̄ͤ̏́͒ͣͦͣ̎͊͆̓̚͟ı̸̵̟͈̮͓̣̜͕̹̙̱̳̠̙̀̊̔ͭͯ̌̓͊̎͒̋ͧ̕͢s̀ͣ͂͆͊҉͞҉̷̢̗͎͇̝̦̠ʎ͎̼͕̞͚̺͇̩̰̟̝̙͇̪̹͇̌͂̌ͥ͋̌͑͑̑ͮ͝͝ן̨͈̺̜ͨ̃͛͊ͬ͆ͨ̈́̽̓ͪ̕ͅ" she spoke, uttering a single word in a twisted indescribable language that echoed with a sense of corruption primordial and ancient in nature, as though predating genesis itself, a word that felt as though it brought nature down to tears, ripping and twisting at the fabric of reality as a wave of discoloration spread out across the city, if only there were color left to begin with it would have been erased. But where there was black and grey before, a red glow spilled out replacing the black with shades of red as though the word was made of blood in varying shades, a ripple through the spatial foundations of their existence erasing with it all traces of magic and energy not her own. Red light pulsed as the sound of a colossal heart reverberated through across the sky. And again, another pulse. Again, every thud of an unseen heart causing ripples through the red light that bathed everything. All the magic and powers throughout the city were destroyed.
Whatever power it was that had forced Eris's aura to bloom in full force was broken, but its presence was still in the air clinging to the man who had lost their duel and other mages who were exposed, it held no power over her personally anymore. The word she had uttered had broken her chains.
"Come on, Entertain me!" She yelled out over the scream of tormented souls that had begun to rise up into the air as rifts appeared spilling out to storm the city as though each rift that appeared was connected to an ocean of bone and skeletons spilled through like in a flood of the undead that scattered down every street and alley way to wreak havoc. A number of skeletons drew bows as the final notes of Eris's voice echoed in the air, the pull of drawstrings and the scream of arrows whistled through the air towards the two men. Skeletons that were spread out and scattered, standing atop rooftops, in alleys, in windows of nearby buildings, among the crowds of bystanders that screamed and tried to run, but other skeletons from the horde seemed to corral them, policing the civilians of the city. Forcing men and women out of their homes and into the streets as some fires were already starting sprinkling around the city. Some of the bystanders in the immediate area seemed to fall over dead as flames erupted from within their bodies, bursting out from every orifice and the pores of their skin withering them into husks..

HP: 100% MP: 80% (+10% for sacrificing living souls.) A spell(s?) is/are being cast... Elapsed cast time: 1 post.

Spoiler:
Name: Blood Ritual: Word of Undoing Rank: S Type: Defense Duration: 1 Cooldown: 10 Description: This Anti-Spell curse will create a flash in which all colors are inverted, then destroyed, leaving a colorless world in which only the color red slowly fades in replacing all other colors. The sound of a heartbeat echos throughout the land, the red light noticeably pulsating with each thud of the heartbeat. For the post, All active effects or less that have a duration are nullified and/or cannot be cast to begin with. This prioritizes summons. Counts as horror exposure to all in the location. Magical items of PCs will be disenchanted for the duration of the post, but they will come back online after the fact. Magical items of NPCs unless particularly important will have their enchantments destroyed. For the post, all effects that exist for more than 2 seconds seem suspended in air, which could effect instant spells that are used at long range long enough to give them 3 seconds or more of air time, colors inverted and roiling across the surface as magic wavers and the effect simply vanishes.
Strengths: • For every spell this nullifies, Eris gains the MP value of that spell. (As though it were cast by her. So nullifying D or C-rank spells would grant no MP). If the spell did not use magic, then no magic is gained. This includes signature spells, but also non-magic "Spells" in general.
• Does not effect Eris or those who have a Devil Pact contract of loyalty with her. • This can automatically kick in to defend Eris if effected by an effect that would render her incapable of choosing to use this or not, however it will cost an extra 10%MP. Weaknesses: • No effect on quick spells. (Spells that only exist for 2 seconds or less, like a quick attack.)
• If used to counter an H-Rank or Guild Spell, it will only prevent Eris herself from being effected, unless the spell specifically targets an individual.
• When used against an H-spell it can only negate the spell in regards to herself. She can't nullify the spell as a whole, only prevent herself from being harmed. If the spell is too fast that it cannot be hit by the full 2 seconds, it's not touched. If it only effects the casters allies or just themself, it wouldn't be touched. • Damages herself for 50hp damage when she uses this. This returns by 10hp per post. • H-rank spells (Or greater) drain her own MP by 1/2 the cost the enemy paid to cast it rather than gaining any MP at all herself..
Name: Marksman's Legion Rank: S Type: Hoard Summon Duration: 10 Cooldown: 11 Description: Twenty six (D-rank summons) skeleton archers appear in a rift in the air or claw their way out of the ground. They have fires burning in their chest cavities and up around their skulls. They carry old iron and plain wood bows, each possessing roughly 20 arrows in quivers at their backs. By the end of the 10 posts, they run out of arrows and disappear. They generally don't move from the spot they were summoned and fire roughly 2 shots per skeleton per post, 9 damage per arrow (Standard damage + 20% (Magic passive) + 50% (Summon specialty)), at up to 50 meters accurately, or up to 300 meters with very little accuracy (Relying on the swarm/volley to try to hit something at that range, just like a traditional line or archers). Active Ability: Skyward Pillar. All the skeletons fire an arrow that appears in their bows composed of bone and cloaked in fire. They fire the arrows high into the sky, vanishing. A moment later, a storm of bone-arrows hails down on a 30 meter in diameter area dealing 100 damage (Base S-rank spell damage) + 70% (Magic bonus 20% + 50% specialty damage to HP tradeoff) to those remaining in the area by the time the storm of bonearrows fall. Deals double damage to targets the size of a house or greater. The area is so thick with flaming arrows that it appears like a pillar of fire falling from the sky, hence the name. They may only do this once, unless resummoned after the cooldown ends. There is approximately 10 full seconds to react / leave the area. They cannot penetrate objects thicker than half they are long (about 3 feet, so 1.5 feet thick), leaving them stick out of whatever it is like a pincushion. The area is covered with bone shards there after packed as dense as though it were grass, making it a hazard to walk on. Passive Ability: Flaming Arrows. The arrows shot by the Marksman's Legion cause 1ft bursts of flame on impact adding 50% additional damage (does not apply to Skyward Pillar) (Making an arrow hit for 13.5 damage), and causing burns that deal 2 additional points of damage on the following post. They can ignite the environment, setting things on fire. Strengths: • Lays down covering fire and can bring on some hurt to crowds or large monsters. • Ranged support. Weaknesses: • Increasing inaccuracy past 50 meters.
• Sacrificed durability/HP for increased damage output. -50% HP for +50% Damage. They are very fragile. • Only so many arrows can physically hit 1 target, and the closer someone gets the less archers will be able to hit them, like wise with the farther they are past 50yards.

The fight had come to a close, Elyx had been declared the champion, and the fight had gone down in history. Laying there, exhausted and surprisingly hungry, Ardere looked over to see his phoenix companion land next to him in her bird form. Nice to see you. Sighing a bit, he smiled. Aren't you always getting yourself into trouble? The fire mage chuckled a bit. Well of co- His smile quickly returned to a look of concern, as the sky began to change color. The footsteps of another entity pierced his slayer ears. Even when suffering from magical sickness, his senses were still keen. The last time this happened, he ended up surrounded by undead in a small town. Could this be? Elyx, watch yourself. The world around them was not the same as before, the sky and the clouds had changed, prompting a dark magical energy to send a shiver down the spine of even the Fire King. This was not good.
From behind the shadows, a figure emerged. A woman with white hair and pale skin. It was in that moment that the fire mage's suspicions were confirmed, this was indeed the same entity as before. The two had met multiple times now, and it was beginning to turn into an annoyance of sorts. Ardere struggled to stand, and his phoenix entered her battle form, her wings expanding, and bursting into flames. The crimson heat not only burned across the majestic bird, but in the guild master's eyes. Something was different about her now, there was an almost deity-like feel to her aura, which meant he could harm her. Not only that, but she was responsible for Deniel's disappearance, and the way she described him was almost unnerving.
Staring this woman in the eyes, he gritted his teeth. Elyx, cover me. Stumbling back a bit, he opened his mouth. Sucking in the flames from his phoenix, she expelled some from her beak to allow him access to more mana. Sucking in the flames within a matter of seconds, his magical sickness dissipated. Wiping his mouth, a devilish smirk crossed his lips. Oh I'll entertain you. Clutching Clarent tightly, his orange glowing eyes watched the woman and down below, observing her skeletons. From the best he could tell, her necromancy had an almost hellfire effect to it. This meant that he could eat her flames. He was sure there would be some sort of cost, but if it came to it, there was a good chance the fire mage would have to accept that cost, even if her flames were from Hell itself.
Arrows whisked through the air towards the fire mage and Elyx. Celica stretched a wing in front of her master to deflect the arrows and protect him from the arrow, but when they hit, there was a burst of hellfire. Sucking in the flames, he tried to prevent some of the damage to her, but she was knocked backwards. Celica! Get to cover! Yelling to his phoenix companion, she struggled to move backwards, behind a rather large piece of rubble where she could take cover. It was at this moment that Ardere turned back to the white haired woman, only to feel like his brain was being smashed to pieces with a brick. Holding his head for a moment, he groaned as flashes of undead and demons shot through his brain. The brown haired samurai overcame it quickly, due to the small amount of flames he had consumed, but it was fairly obvious this was some sort of after effect of her magic. Refocusing on the battle, he twirled his sword between his fingers. Waiting to see if Elyx attacked, he slammed his sword downwards, sending corrupt magical energy into what little ground they had to stand on. A black mountain of flames burst from under the ground, soaring towards the white haired woman and her skeletons. Flame God's Splitting Edge! Hopefully his attack would be enough to buy them some time, and take out those skeletons.
Name: Phoenix Breath Rank: B Type: Offensive Duration: Instant Cooldown: 3 posts Description: Celica exhales a cylinder of flames at 40 m/s, up to 60 meters away. The breath is 5 m thick. It deals B ranked damage in burns at the point of contact.
Name: Phoenix Rebirth: Battle Form Rank: A Type: Offensive/Supplementary Description: Celica's body grows to be about five meters long and each wing with a length of five meters as well. Her wings and tails burst into flames, which deal A ranked fire damage to any targets she hits. She also get's a 80% boost to speed. This is considered her battle form, which is used when Ardere is in a pinch or needs to get away fast. The flames are constantly generated as long as she is in this form. If she is in her human form, her size does not increase and her arms are coated in flames rather than her wings. Duration: 6 posts Cooldown: 7 Posts
Ard's spell:
Name: Flame God's Splitting Edge Rank: B Type: Fire/Offensive Duration: Instant Cooldown: 2 posts Description: Ardere strikes either or both of his arms downward, causing black flames to erupt upwards from the ground. The one thing that one hated as a Lerale, was someone interrupting their concert. Playing in an orchestra for so long he knew what it was like to have hecklers on the scene trying to eliminate any chances of the audience having a good time. His tribe was taught to ignore them and let them complain. However, if push came to shove, fight for their lives. They needed to live to make music. And now that he was the first of the Ishvals, he needed to make sure to protect them all. Ardere was planning to take a shot towards their newly found opponent. A lady, but one that he could sense the presence of rather well. With the emitted presence, he was able to read something similar to his own… His light brown eyes would lock onto her, half-closed as he did not even flinch from the scene that had been presented. He did not even want to use his eyes that Quatro had given him. His lips were neutral, but this was a heckler for his Orchestra. As the conductor, it was his time to silence the heckler.
If you are that close to Deniel, then I suppose you might be more than just another noise-maker. The Reiaki would reply in turn to her, in a normal voice. Whether she heard him or not, he didn’t give a damn. Quatro would look behind him, moving slowly towards him from behind to his left side, not that anyone but Elyx can see it. It would just look at the woman with big white eyes before then looking over to the Sky Slayer. A small illusion would be presented for only the eyes of the Reiaki to see. It was the second form of the being, which was a brutal version of Quatro. It was named “Entrance”, and it’s power, should it be granted to him, was known to split the earth in half. Stella then claimed to be the one to put it together. Honestly, he did not know if their stories were true. However, this battle was looking a lot more personal than he expected it to be. If there was anyone that was going to be fighting this battle, it was him. It’s all right, I don’t need Entrance. He would explain to the spirit before then walking forward as Ardere would tell Elyx to cover for him. Without even asking, he would do just that.
Placing his palm out forward, he would let out Aiyana’s tricks for the weird woman. It was a simple attack of his ranking, a huge wall of Frostfire that could act defensively, but with enough force, can also be used to attack. With this, he would roll his wrist one time, looking at it with a bored facial expression before then opening his palm out forward, launching the wall towards their mystery opponent. Frostfire-Make: Barrier! The Reiaki would announce. Such a simple attack, and he knew this. His eyes were analyzing closely to see the reaction of his opponent. Does she just take it and deal with the damage like he does? Does she dodge? Or does she do something special with it? However, his other senses were at their peak as he would walk over towards her. Provided he got close enough, his aura would begin to take place as well thanks to Celestial fire. But he wasn’t going to attack her while she was close up. If he wanted to attack, he’d be at a distance. Again, he just wanted to see the kind of reaction that he would get out of her. Provided nothing happens when he gets within 20 meters, he would place his hands in his pockets as all he would do was just look directly at her, but nothing would be said.
Ard’s attack would end up coming, splitting the earth once again, causing it to go deeper into the ground. The flames were coming, Ignite should be arriving on the scene soon with possibly backup if the skeletons were going too far and would stray in her shopping path. With that, Elyx would roll out towards the side using Lindsey’s speed as a boost before dodging the flames, and he’d jump back with his hands in his pockets. Did the woman think he would actually go all out? He’s seen these people before, they were always seeking attention and fueling on the anger of their opponents, making them slip up and eventually, one could capitalize on their unfortunate mistake. This was something he knew of many opponents doing, and provided this woman be in his life a year ago, she might have had better luck. But words now can’t touch his mental shell. His legs were prepared to spring and move away if needed, seeing how he is now going evasive in the battle.
Here Ard. Use this. Elyx would tell his partner, who is still locked down from the spell that was still very much active for a while. The blade would dissolve in his palm, allowing the sword to blend with the air before bringing it back to the light in front of Ard. It was his choice if he would like it or not. But it was Elyx’s item, so it should not be affected by the effects of his spell. It should help put a little more leverage on his side. And now to wait for the incoming attack. Every move was being read, and he was gathering this information to learn fight styles and how to react to them, other than just standing there and healing more damage that he takes.
Summary:
Elyx never goes all out in a battle at first. He takes things rather gently, and is currently unphased.
He simply obeys the order of covering for Ard, using Aiyana's Frostfire make to make an H rank wall of Frostfire. He'd then launch that wall forward, using it as an attack that would land 315 damage if it struck successfully. It costs no MP either.
Frostfire Make:
- Frostfire Make: The user of the magic can create the special element at will and is able to use it for any circumstance when out of battle. When in battle, however, the user can use it to deal spell damage equal to the rank of the user once per post. If need be, the magic user may defend with the element instead, blocking one spell equal to the rank of the user. (Out of combat may be used infinitely. In combat, may use it either for offense or defense once per post.)
And then more effects occur if the Frostfire attack lands successfully.
Frostfire Leech:
- FrostFire Mana Leech: When a spell lands on an opponent, the frostfire magic leeches part of the affected person's magic power(or whatever they use for their abilities) and it is granted to the user. The mana leeched is dependant on the rank of the spell used. (D=5%, C=5%, B=5%, A=10%, S=10%, H=20%) Mana leeched this way is treated as frostfire element eaten towards force.
Frostfire Mana Block:
- Frostfire Mana Block: When someone is hit with any FrostFire Spell they lose the ability to regenerate any extra mana for 5 posts. Any extra hits only reset the duration of this ability. Does not affect the base mana regen one may receive. Unique abilities that deal damage do not count towards this effect.
After this, Elyx walked over to Eris, and if she did not move, he would end up at the 20 meter distance away from her, which activated the effect of Celestial Fire. And If you read Star Suit a few posts ago, Elyx does now identify as a Celestial Spirit.
Celestial Fire:
Celestial Fire: Anyone who is within 20 meters of a Celestial spirit except the user or other Celestial Spirits take 5% Health damage for every turn they are that dangerously close to a Celestial Spirit. If an enemy is one rank higher than the Celestial Spirit they are around, the damage is cut to 2.5%. 2 ranks or higher will result in no damage infliction. For each rank lower than the Celestial spirits ranking, the damage added is 5% for each rank in difference.
Which would result in Eris lose 5% HP
And if Elyx got close enough to 60 meters within her Range, Aiyana's UA comes to play.
Frostfire Aura:
- Frostfire Aura: Aiyana emits an aura in combat that has both effects of the FrostFire. Enemies in the 60 meter radius aura will find themselves chilled to the bone and burning hot at the same time. Slows enemies in the aura by 25% while they are in it.
And then Elyx rolled out of the way from Ard's attack and jumped 100 meters away before sending Ardere his sword, Bound Iris. It's not affected by the spell that restricts items, because it's Elyx's own.
Health: 825/825 MP: 148% (Final MP Regen post)
*125% for Primary Magic* *65% Speed Boost* (Lindsey is now the fastest known being in this fight, Elyx's speed comes from her) *90% Strength Boost*
26 skeletons. Each firing two arrows per post. At you both (in total, so spread out between you). S-rank summon. They are very much a separate thing from the "NPC" undead that are storming the city. The summons are after you, the horde is there for the city, and to blend with the summons with some skeletons not part of the summon are firing normal arrows that could be ignored. Buuut the s-rank summoned skeletons are quite a threat.
Eris
Arrows crafted in the bowels of hell itself pummeled the entire area as skeletons who were all extremely talented marksmen in life and only trained further for the centuries or millennia of service in hell let loose their attack, twenty six individual soldiers firing on the two mages from all angels, each individual arrow striking with small explosions of hellfire. No direction was safe, as archers further in the distance fired in long lobbing arcs that rained down on the two even from above, every attack made in unison with other archers, a hive mind connecting them all with Eris herself. Where some would lead their target others would aim where they were likely to dodge to.
These were not mindless creatures that could not hit the broad side of a barn. They were lethal, they were champions. And they literally rained hell down upon their targets with the multitude of screams as though each arrow were a tormented soul in its own right. They could not be ignored. Further complicating matters were the hoards of undead soldiers that spilled out of hellgates all across the city spilling out onto streets, many soldiers were archers similar to the elite hellfire marksmen, their arrows added uncertainty and they were far less skilled than their elite brethren, but in flight their arrows weren't distinguishable as the common soldier's arrows added to the deadly storm that filled the air. Which enemies were the real threats? Which ones were the cannon fodder? The skeletal faces were all a blur, a nightmare surrounding them on all sides and beyond, flooding the streets. The sight of the undead creatures itself was a strain on the mind, a pull that scratched at one's sanity.
The city was full of screams as demon and skeleton soldiers alike plundered and raided, pillars of smoke rose dotting the cityscape and these two "heroes" showed no signs of caring. The lives of the very people who came to watch them were already forfeit, a dozen having fallen dead and now a dozen more souls lost, falling to their knees as blue fire erupted from their every orifice as they fell dead as though death itself were present in the city, reaping the souls of the innocent. Here, in the city, among the countless mortal lives, Eris was at her greatest, as far as Earthland was concerned.
Before Eris the world was her snowglobe, her own physical form, that sat hovering in the air above the ground as runes flashed in the air around her halo and between her spread wings, irrelevant to her perception as she watched every detail of the world around her, every body a fine sculpture crafted out of flames. Flames that carried information and spoke to her, speaking of tales of magic and colors and revealing the intricate patterns that came into being where magic wrote its own laws of physics and reality. She was fully aware of the writings on the wall of ice, of the magic that filled the air around the mages, the nature of magic laid bare for her. She could see too the specter at the side of the sky mage, the bands that linked him and the patterns that effected his performance.
In this vision she witnessed the echos of action before they occurred, the patterns of magic spiraling into writing in the air as spells were brought to bare. A spectral mirror drawing itself out before reality filled in the lines describing to her the nature of the world around her and in this moment, the magic itself that was bringing to life fire and ice. Standing as casual as ever in place Eris raised a hand in immediate reaction to the two, a great wall of glowing hot bone and red hellfire erupted from before her and shot forward to plow into the incoming wall of ice and the wall of ice like two trains. Bone, flame, and ice scattering into fragments as they powered through, skeletal limbs and skulls showering the surroundings as the ice wall crushed its way through the the mass, slowing the further it traveled until ice and bone was left in memorial of the attack, the flames from the fire mage flaring up across the back of the ice wall and across the wall of bone. Hidden behind the wall of ice and bone, the remnants of her bone wall stirred again, taking to the air to fly towards Eris. Each bone disappearing into her body as a narrow ring of fire sparked in the air, circling around her as the flame began to trace out symbols and patterns inward and the glyphs that flickered in the air around her head and wings seemed to increase in intensity.
Somewhere behind the mages, wherever that was as Eris looked for the most opportune angle, a new rift tore through the air and from it shot forth like a cannon a terrible monster, a great skull that dwarfed most the buildings nearby, its massive jaw unhinged and screaming as it would be able to close the distance in a blur as it attempted to slam into the ground at their feet to envelop them in that massive maw that beheld an emptiness matched only by the abyssal void itself. The intense inferno surrounding it causing the earth to turn molten along its path, it would slam into the earth seeking them out in an explosive impact breaking up the worked stone of the city's streets and surge towards the largest power source, the sky mage, dredging a great gash through the city unphased by the ground itself to charge like a roaring dragon at its target as the legion of undead warriors rained upon both targets continuing their persistent hail of arrows, some arrows normal fired from the cannon fodder while others struck in with flares of hellfire on impact, peppering the area with micro explosions that added yet another noise to the backdrop of the city that had fallen into chaos.

Spoiler:
• - The Burning Dead: Infernal Necromancy has two primary elements working together here. Fire, and Bone. With a heaping tablespoon of Dark magic, which is more of a flavor really. Bone provides substance and physical form. Bones are left behind whenever a spell is used, if a spell conjured a skull the skull will remain long after the fire has died just as any normal object. Fire provides the heat and causes burns, delivering 50% of the attack's initial damage again over the span of 5 posts unless healed. • - The Rising Terror: Every time someone is subject to a fear effect or sees/is within 30 meters of an Infernal Necromancy spell they lose 5% of their mental health (+1.5% per rank less than her). This causes a subtle headache is all, a bit of pressure in their head. A bit of unease, a sense of wrongness. For each chunk of mental health missing, they are less and less resistant to fear effects and grow increasingly unstable (Player choice on how they act when "Unstable").
Artifact Armor Signature (Trading Singularity Mantle). Name: Clawing Wall Rank: S Type: Defensive. Duration:Instant Cooldown:N/A Description: Lady Red makes a gesture away from a surface in question and causes a wall of bones primarily composed of claws with some random skulls and rib cages to emerge in a brief gout of flame. While they rise (in about 1-2 seconds) the hands (and dismembered arms) seem to claw and grab at the air like a writhing mass. The wall is up to 5 meters tall and 25 meters wide and 3 meters thick. Getting caught in the bone wall as it forms will deal 1 rank less damage than a normal spell for this rank (so 75 damage). Afterwards, the wall just sits there inert and inanimate, no longer an active spell but the remnant aftermath of one similar to a wall getting broken by a cannonball spell. Strengths: • Briefly deals some damage leaving behind a tangled wall of bones from any surface. • While Divine Corpse is active this spell can grab onto anyone within 1 meter of the wall or less as it appears, keeping them held as though someone was physically grabbing them. Weaknesses: • Deals notably less damage than a spell of this rank would. • The leftover wall of bones has about 100hp when calculated as a whole to break through a hole large enough for a human to walk through from one side to the other or otherwise about a 5 meter deep path (In case someone wants to try to break through the wall from one end to the other longways. Individual limbs have about 35hp. • Takes twice as much damage from blunt physical attacks such as with a cannonball, boulder, or warhammer.
(Savaging Skull is using Cannon Bite. Note: Nearly all damage listed/named (Except the part that literally says "If hit by the skull itself") is actual damage not melee damage dealt as an "aura", with a second "aura" within the maw itself.) Name: Savaging Skull https://i.imgur.com/v5w5RbF.jpg Rank: S Type: Grand Summon Duration: 10 Cooldown: 11 Description: Powering up through the earth or barreling through a rift in the air, Lady Red summons the Savaging Skull. This single colossal skull wreathed in flames hovers about on it's own, suspended by waves of terrible necrotic energy and heat. When unhinged it's cavernous open mouth is around 40 meters wide in all, perhaps 60 meters tall just guessing the full skull might be around 80 meters from jaw to cap. It's capable of moving at 100m/s in flight and is in part treated as a projectile itself. Active Ability: Cannon Bite. The Skull surges forward doubling its speed as an inferno envelopes itself, dealing S-rank damage to anything in its path (In addition to normal physical damage if hit by the skull itself). It can do this once every 3 posts, for 3 uses maximum. Passive Ability: Void Maw. The Skull deals full physical damage + magic (Curse) damage equal to 1 rank less than its own rank as fire damage to things within its mouth, anything destroyed or killed within are incinerated so finely that there is no remains, giving it the illusion that the skull can eat without end.
Strengths: • A very large, very intimidating summon that is almost more of a living(lol) wrecking ball. Weaknesses: • Being as large as it is, it is prone to getting hit. Though because it is a bit speedy perhaps not as easy as you'd think.
• Due to its size, it maybe very difficult or impossible to use in underground locations. Don't underestimate its ability to dig with it's Void Maw however, but that's only in surface to ground scenarios really.
.
So you can throw me to the wolves Tomorrow I will come back Leader of the whole pack Beat me black and blue Every wound will shape me Every scar will build my throne
Things were not looking good for the two guild masters, but even like this, they were not going down easily by any means. Catching the massive silver sword, he mentally noted that it was nowhere near as heavy as expected. The hail of arrows was beginning to get too much, so he had to do something. While he had narrowly avoided the initial onslaught, he immediately reacted after his phoenix moved and leaped into the crater nearest him. Making sure to eat some of her flames before leaping, she returned to her human form, as she stayed under a rather large piece of the arena rubble for cover. While falling down into the crater, the arrows followed him. Fortunately this allowed him to avoid the arrows coming from the side, or any other attacks coming at him, but he still had to deal with the arrows falling upon him. It was almost like a literal rain of arrows, so many skeletons. Luckily he had narrowed down the amount coming at him currently. While he could not help Elyx, he was sure the sky slayer could deal with his own arrows. Instinctively trying to stop himself from falling and hurting himself, he stopped in mid air, some sort of effect from wielding the sword. He stopped just above a chunk of stable ground in the crater, about twenty meters down. Rather than sitting around and wondering what happened, he created a shield above himself of flames, catching the arrows just before they landed down on him, thus turning them into an explosion that ripped above the crater, smacking away a few arrows, but deviating the course of the others. Flame God's Yggdrasil! While he stopped most of them, some managed to explode near him, and rather than letting them go to waste, he sucked up those flames. Holding his head tight, the headache was intense. Flashes of snakes and demons littered his mind. Struggling to get past it, he employed the use of this sword's ability, which seemed to not be nullified by Elyx's lockdown. Walking along the air, he used the Bound Iris to deflect as many arrows as possible, still inside the crater, meaning he only had to spin the blade like a fan to save himself. Gritting his teeth, the visions would soon pass, and he felt slightly out of breath.
He could deal with the arrows for a short amount of time, but he needed to employ the use of a more effective technique. Air walking up, the fire mage punched upwards, as black flames surrounded his body. The skeletons would not be able to see through the black fire, but they could perhaps assume he was towards the top, regardless, he burst upwards at too intense of a speed for many arrows more than the ones already flung to hit. And if these arrows did hit, they would impact with a solid black flame, rather than a permeable one. This effect was one that mage god slaying flames different from any other, the ability to become solid like concrete. The explosions would be too far away from him to hurt him, and if they deviated his course a bit, it would not matter, as he jut the blade forward attempting to activate one of the abilities he had known Elyx to use. Using another mage's sword was not easy, but he knew a few of the abilities from it, due to both missions with the sky slayer, and their prior fight. Finally, as he burst through the air, the blade extended to 100 meters in length, and if his flames were broken through, he would utilize the air walking ability to keep himself in the air, while he swung the sword around in a 360 degree motion to hit as many skeletons as he possibly could. Hey friend, cover me if you can! Groaning heavily, he was quite high in the sky, but he could not go much higher than 60 to 80 meters, or he would be unable to move the sword around to hit as many skeleton archers as he wished to. Hopefully his partner was able to deal with his own attacks up to then. If he was able to hit at least several of the summons, Ardere would hop down next to Elyx and hover, awaiting the next move, assuming there was nothing he needed to react to. (Blasting up and swinging the sword are set in stone, but I left it open so if you attack again, he can react)

Defense:
Name: Flame God's Yggdrasil Rank: A Type: Fire-Offensive/Defensive Duration: Instant Cooldown: 5 posts Description: Ardere spins his hands in a circular motion, creating a flame circle parallel to his chest. This circle can stop a projectile(s) equal to A rank, rather than two A ranks like a normal defensive spell. It is a minimum of 1 meter in diameter, and a max of 20 m, depending on how large the oncoming spell is. Then, once the projectile(s) is stopped, the user causes the projectiles to explode, sending an explosion forward. This explosion moves at 70 m/s up to 60 m away. The explosion only deals 75% of A rank damage, withering some flesh and burning opponents. Strengths:
Strong to nature, ice, and metal. Provides a high power explosion. Good at any range.
Weaknesses:
Weak to earth and water. Only 75% damage Only fired in one direction.Requires a physical movement to be used.

Sword:
Name: The World's Access
Rank: Users rank up to S rank
Duration: 8 Posts
Cooldown: 10 Posts
Description:
Also known as the Sky Sword, this blade extends a huge distance of 100 meters. It does not affect movement speed or physical power while in this state. However, if the users body is on the ground, this sword will become too heavy to pick up. This is the Bound Iris's final form.
Strengths: -The swords reach extends to 100 meters, covering that much distance to attack with while the movement speed and physical power is not affected.
Weaknesses: -Despite it gaining size, the strikes do not gain any power or inflict any more damage.
-The blade in this state can not be held while the users body is on the ground.
-If the users blade is on the ground, regardless of what state they are in, Bound Iris can't be picked up.
-Air Step is the only way for this form of blade to be picked up.
If hit by the stream, only minor burns will occur. The stream only lasts the one post. (He is basically the front of a flaming cylinder to punch his opponent with) Strengths:
Strong to metal, ice, and nature magic. Leaves a stream. Has knock back of 30 m.
Weaknesses:
Weak to water and earth magic. Only fired in one direction. Stream only lasts the post used. Flames limited range.
(If anything is confusing, here's the events: Ard jumps down into the crater, sucking in some flames from Celica on the way down. As he falls, he accidentally uses the air walk ability from bound iris to walk on air, then uses his yggdradil spell to blow up the arrows above him, sucking in any excess flames from extras, then he bursts up and makes the sword massive, swinging it around at as many skelly archers as possible)
There was something odd about the spells that were being used. Sure, they were dark. However, so were the spells that he used, nothing felt different about them at all. All of the summons, more enemies that would try to make even so much a dent into his skin. How nice, but how far can such an attack go? Sure, the arrows were caught on fire, but they were physical existences anyways. Even if there is so much as an element or even a spell in an attack, Quatro would work his magic into making sure that nothing happened to the Reiaki. So as they arrived to meet his skin, all the arrows would bounce off of his unaffected skin, which did not even feel the slightest bit of the metal tips that the arrow heads had to offer. His eyes were still half-closed, only for Stella to appear by his side, it seems that her resistance was triggered. Whatever it was she was preventing, it seemed heavy on her, seeing her squint a little bit, her teeth clenched and her palms placed out. Yet, he felt nothing different at all. Not the slightest bit of a negative emotion or debuff on his body. Lindsey would use her wind manipulation to try to get the arrows to move the opposite direction. It seems that she was unable to do that so easily, the arrows being rather strong for the amount of wind that she was able to bend. However, she was able to redirect them away from her being to make sure that they would just barely miss her, and she ended up receiving one of the arrows as an indirect hit. While it burned, it only seemed to excite Lindsey, who always loved a good rush of adrenaline.
The one big enemy to arrive was a giant skull that was summoned onto the scene. It seemed to make an appearance for him specifically. How caring the lady was. Not that Elyx was going to play her games. Summons against a mage? No, he will play summons against summons. Lindsey was already out and by his side, and she can serve him as fuel while she was out for him. However, there was one being, one of the strongest summons to exist according to the planes of the Celestial World. The Maiden. I open the gate of the Maiden! Come forth, Virgo! He would flick the Golden Key from his key pouch up into the air, the tip of the metal magic item shining for the moment before slicing it downwards to open the gate that held the maiden in it. In front of him, Virgo had made her appearance with her arms placed over each other in a formal manner. You called, master? She would ask him. It seems like nothing as ever changed between the two of them, how nice. Regardless, this time, the title that he had received would end up being ignored as he would then point his finger over to the skull that looked like it was about to make its move.
Care to punish it? The Wizard Saint would tell the Celestial Spirit as it would begin to charge towards the both of them at in insane speed. However, Stella would then focus her energy on her other effect. It was the fastest being, that giant skull was, and so Elyx’s own body would attach to its speed and mimic the speed of the opponent. It was like Ard’s before he activated the lockdown. The one thing that it was unable to control was the speed that it was moving at. Despite being covered in inferno, it seemed to just be charging at them only. It decided to act recklessly, and for that, it will parish. Virgo placed her left palm out to create a ramp of earth 20 meters in front of them at a high elevation, so that they would not end up getting hit. This was a classic tactic for the both of them while the Aiyana key was active. The Reiaki would place a wall of Frostfire in front of the being as it moved. It had a strong hold, and could most likely not be ignored so easily since it covered up the whole ramp. The beast could try to move out of the way, but with the insane speed that it decided to move at, Elyx was betting on the lack on control that it had.
This could have gone either of two ways. One, it might have ended up inflicting full damage to the beast if it crashed into the wall with the amount of force that it did. Or it could actually break through the wall, which was what Elyx and Virgo were originally anticipating. In the case that it did, with that amount of force, it must have been slowed down heavily, in which the both of them would take advantage. The Celestial Spirit would extend her chains out to reach towards the beast and wrap it in the magical metal around the blazing inferno of the beast. Provided this be successful, the chains would instantly immobilize the beast and slam it onto the ground. And due to the effects of the chains, it will not be getting out from it. While Virgo herself would be unable to do anything, Elyx himself was still there, and he was not going to have Virgo let the being go until it was called out. This is if their plan is successful.
In this happening, Elyx, Virgo, and Lindsey would all be 100 meters away from their opponent. If the beast was slammed into the frostfire wall, but unable to break through it, they would gain another 100 meters in distance by jumping back once again all three of them before preparing for the next attack to occur. The Sky Slayer played defensively, it was his field. However, he could act like the Frostfire attacks were his offensive attacks if he felt like it. Ardere would then be above the Sky Slayers head, which would be accessed via Air Step only. And the Worlds Access was being played as well. It was beautiful, it finally had some use that Elyx was not able to give for a long while. However, relying on Melee alone was not good. Elyx locked down only UA's and Items that did not belong to him. So the Reiaki would place his palm out, slapping is palm against the back of his ally, injecting some MP into him before returning back onto the ground with Virgo and Lindsey.
Summary:
The arrows, even with the flames, do nothing. Regardless, if melee is in the attack, anything else along with the attacks will do 0 damage. This is up for 4 more posts after this post.
After that, Lindsey DID take an arrow hit, so there is that good news right there.
The Giant skull was a summon of Eris’, which Elyx does commend. So he decided to let another summon out, making this his 3rd summon out at the same time (Aiyana Star Suit, Lindsey) and brought out Virgo!
Zodiac Key Virgo:
S-Rank Spell Name: Zodiac Key: Virgo Rank: S Duration: 10 Posts Cooldown: 12 Posts Type: Summon Description: Virgo is a fighter of many forms, mainly related to her ability to serving her "Master", the user. While on the battlefield, she relies heavily on the users orders, and will often ask for confirmation when she wants to make an action of her own unless the user is unable to. Virgo serves, that was just simply her nature and will stick to it no matter what. No matter the cost, she would protect the user, her "Master", by using her body as a shield if her magic alone was not enough to do the trick. With the ability to manipulate to manipulate land and use her chains to bind enemies, her goal in battle is to beat an opponent into submission. Simply using punishment until they beg for mercy, it's her way of battle at the fullest.
She very much asks for punishments, regardless if her actions were good or bad for the user. This shows her personality to match one of a Masochist, an unfortunate reality for her and the user. The fact that she is a Maiden does not really help much with the situation. However, despite this nature, she means well for her "Master" and will remain by their side while she has full control of herself. Every action that the user takes, she will understand and obey without a refute unless she believes that the user would be hurt in the end. She would not even object if she were to get hurt in the end. The fact that she does this plus her ability to change her appearance for them shows her amazing loyalty to the user. She can even supply the user with any form of clothing at anytime.
Strengths: -Loyal until the end, she will fight by the users side and follow their every order like a true maiden.
-Smart and Wise, her combat abilities are beyond amazing. This is a Zodiac Key, but even then she is very bright of a fighter.
-Versatile, she has many options to fight alongside the user, such as land, chains, boosts, etc. She even has many solutions to everyday situations, such as clothing.
Weaknesses:
-Lack of Free Spirit, very reliant on her "Master" while she is relaxed, and often needs orders from them instead of acting on her own.
-A Masochist, she likes pain inflicted onto herself, and looks for any reason to try to be punished by the user.
-She is not too social unless it is towards her master. Even then, she speaks very formally, despite how awkward that might make a few situations.
-Shameless to her surroundings, she puts her "Master" first before even herself. Self-Respect is questionable.
Appearance:
Virgo's Abilities:
Passive Effect: Land Manipulation, Virgo can manipulate solids below the ground in order to carry out her attacks. Attacks done this way inflict S rank damage. She is able to drill into the environmental ground as well unless otherwise is shown, like unbreakable magic ice.
Passive Effect: Chain Manipulation, the chains around her wrists can be used for fighting as well. These can be extended to dual-wielding chains that extend up to 30 meters (Due to FT canon series). Those wrap are wrapped in the chains are immobilized and unable to use magic or move. They can't be manipulated by their own abilities or lineages, but by others instead.
Active Ability: When the user takes damage while Virgo is in front of them, her Movement speed, Attack Power, and Defense are all increased by 75%. She will act on her own in order to avenge the user, and will not stop until the user tells her to. This is her corrupt form of protection, she doesn't want to see her "Master" punished, and she will show a hate to those who do just that.
Strengths: -A boost in movement speed, attack power, and defense as well due to her anger.
-Avenging and loyal, willing to get the user out of trouble at all costs. An experienced fighter, this might not be so bad since she is very wise in battle.
Weaknesses: -Corrupt, and her emotions are rather unstable. Those who get in her way will get punished if they are not her "Master", so careful when attempting to stop her.
-The user is the only way to stop her, but in the case of the user being knocked out, Virgo will not stop in assault until she punishes the source of the users pain.
-Actions reckless, she will not be afraid to risk her body to protect her "Masters". She wants revenge for the user, and she will do anything to get it.
Elyx and Virgo have a classic tactic with Aiyana’s key and an opponent is charging fast at them. She makes a high elevated ramp to launch the beast into the air. However, Elyx would summon an H ranked Frostfire wall (315 damage if unsuccessfully crashed through) at the edge of the ramp. If the beast does not push through it, it should take the damage of the Frostfire wall. The amount of force from it’s own ability is a lot of math to do damage for, so lets not count that force for any damage.
If it breaks through the barrier however, it can avoid the 315 damage that the wall inflicts. This is planned however, since that wall probably would stop a lot of momentum. Virgo would take advantage of the launched being and wrap her chains around it before pulling it to the ground. Provided this be the case, she would slam it to the ground and hold it still using the chains effect.
Chain Manipulation:
Passive Effect: Chain Manipulation, the chains around her wrists can be used for fighting as well. These can be extended to dual-wielding chains that extend up to 30 meters (Due to FT canon series). Those wrap are wrapped in the chains are immobilized and unable to use magic or move. They can't be manipulated by their own abilities or lineages, but by others instead.
Or since it’s a summon, it will not be able to move or use any of it’s abilities. Virgo is unable to do much else while the chains are wrapped around the beast, but Elyx and Lindsey are there. And since each of them are Celestial Spirits, their other UA activates.
Which would reduce it’s health automatically by 17.5% per post they are this close to it. Elyx = 10%. Virgo = 5%. Lindsey = 2.5%.
Sky Deity Supply:
Name: Sky Deity’s Supply Rank: B Type: Support Duration: 5 Turns Cooldown: 6 Turns Description: Elyx focuses his wind onto his palm before grabbing the hand of one target that he considers an ally. As magic energy is transferred to them, the one that has been touched by him would obtain 4% MP per turn they are touched this way. This transfer can only be done onto one person per turn.
Strengths: -4% MP to those touched by Elyx with this spell per turn that they are touched by this spell.
Weaknesses: -This spell requires Elyx to have a grip of the targets hand to successfully transfer the magic power.
-This spell is designed to only help other mages, and can’t be used for himself.
And with that, Ard gains 4 MP
Remember that this is all situational, and all depends on how you act. This is just what would happen. x3
Health: 825/825 MP: 133%
