Kaya Bryndís ♥ Golden Phoenix ♥ C Rank
Her application into the guild had been accepted, and only a week before, she had been accepted. However, at first the young vampire had shied away from the guildhall and her guildmates, wanting to at least put in a bit of work to earn her keep before daring to begin mingling and getting to know anyone. As such, the only person she had actually met was Astrid Foss, the Ace of Topaz, while on a volunteer job that was said to surely get her at least some attention from both the guild and magic council. A blood drive seemed so frivolous in her opinion, but it was something they desperately always needed volunteers for, so she went out of her way to do it, even with no pay.
Her other real jobs had been working as a delivery person. First, she helped oversee the shipment of some lacrima roses from Bosco to Fiore, and on another occasion, she had delivered a parcel from Fiore to Pergrande. Both jobs were somewhat dangerous, but they had allowed the youthful mage to see at least two interesting parts of the world, and all under one week, at that. Her only real regret was the time she had spent in Rose Garden after helping with the blood drive with Astrid and some almanac-maker with Kaisto. Only the night before she had gone to get her passport during the day, she had stopped a young woman to drink her blood. Unfortunately, the circumstances could not have been more coincidental, as that lady had been the one in charge of distributing passports, and naturally, had recognized the vampire. Throughout the day, she had been running from the police, trying to evade capture for 'assault'. She had approached the lady to drink her blood, but did that really count as attacking? Kaya had no ill intentions, after all.
Well, whatever. That was days ago, and she had more important things to worry about... like actually introducing herself to her guildmates and the Guild Master himself, Elyx Reiaki. Hopefully, news of the events and panic in Rose Garden had been kept under the radar, and away from the ears of most legal guilds. After all, the last thing she needed was to get in trouble for nonsense. Walking through the first level of the Guildhall, Kaya gazed around at the interior of the hotel area. It was very upscale and fancy, and rumor had it that the other eight floors of the tower were equally as nice... and to think that it all was underwater! Unbelievable.
So far, the main area seemed rather empty. Was anyone even around? Kaya cleared her throat, hearing the tiny noise she made reverberating off of the polished hotel surfaces. Surely at least a few people were around... or had she missed the rush? Were they all out on jobs by now? It was evening-time, and the nocturnal femme had woken up 'early' just to come here... how uncanny, or was Golden Phoenix simply a quiet guild to begin with? "Hello?"
