Job Location: Snowfall Island
Job Description: For the past several months, things on Snowfall Island had finally begun to return to normal. After the defeat of the ice wizard that had taken over the entire island, once a beautiful resort, the former villagers began to rebuild. It took months, but a town has finally been created on the island. It is a gorgeous small town that is on it's way to becoming the resort it once was, but a terrible series of events has prevented progress on the town. It seems that the magic the ice wizard used to take over the island had lasting effects on both the island and the wildlife that inhabits it.
For the past two weeks, monsters of ice have risen from the deepest parts of the island to attack the town. The town has been raided several times, but luckily the guards have been able to keep the defenses steady. The real problem is no one can venture off to other parts of the island or expand upon the town. It's even dangerous to walk towards the port to travel back and forth to Fiore, or establish contact with the rest of the world. The village has requested that a powerful mage, preferably a group of powerful mages come to the island. These beasts need to be tracked down and hunted, it is imperative that they be beaten. The lair of these beasts is the broken down ice castle the wizard used to use, find them and take them out.
Enemies:
Weak: Ice Mongrels (A-Rank x5)
Ice Mongrels are the most basic and common of the ice infected creatures, but that does not mean they are weak. They can move at A rank mage speeds and their claws deal A ranked physical damage with each hit. They can slam their hands down onto the ground to cause 20 meters of ice spikes to burst up at their targets, dealing A ranked spell damage. They travel in groups and tend to attack simultaneously, not backing down from any enemy. They are 3 meters tall.- Appearance:
Normal: Ice Guardians (S-Rank x3)
The Ice Guardians are emotionless beings of ice, covered in spikes. They are not capable of flight even though they appear to have wings, but they do move at S ranked mage speeds. They will attack without hesitating, and can use their large swords of ice formed into their arms to deal S ranked physical damage. They can also exhale blasts of ice that deal S ranked spell damage. They are about 5 meters tall.- Appearance:
Strong: Ice Golems (S-Rank x2)
Ice Golems are large beasts of ice, humanoid in form and completely composed of ice. They can move at S ranked speeds and deal S.5 ranked physical damage with each punch. Much like the other beings of ice, they can roar ice in a 40 meter area dealing S ranked spelled damage. They can also summon weapons of ice such as war hammers and axes to fight with, that deal spell damage. They are about 15 meters tall.- Appearance:
Boss: The Ice King (SS-Rank x1)
The Ice King is an extremely large beast of ice, appearing like a cross between a mammoth and an ice dragon. It is believed to be a boar that was corrupted by the ice magic and turned into the massive beast that now lurks in the ice of the island. It is colored the same as the snow, and if not for the large tusks it would blend in with the snow and ice. This beast is very ferocious, easily matching the speed of an S rank mage, with the strength of perhaps an SS rank mage. This beast is about 30 meters tall and 50 meters long. It takes 10 S ranked hits to defeat this beast.- Attacks and Appearance:
Tusks: This beast can thrust it's tusks forward which can break through small buildings, and deals SS ranked physical damage.
Roar of a King: When the beast roars, it is a 50 meter long burst of sound that is clearly visible, and deals S ranked spell damage.
Ice breath: A burst of ice 20 meters long will hit a surface, then a 50 meter mountain range of ice will burst from the ground. This is as strong as an H ranked spell.
Reward: 50,000 jewels per player. Normal S rank exp.

Simon was internally shouting, there was no way he was getting in a boat that tiny it was probably slow as a snail. He hated slow. Simon scratched his head doing his best to keep smiling, "Yeah that's me! Actually I think I forgot something back at my guild. I'll have to run back and get it. Uh right I have one more friend coming. When they get here go ahead and take them without me, they should be here any minute but I'll probably take too long. I'll find some other way to get there." The old man squinted at him skeptically, "You're gonna be hard pressed to find another way boyo. With the island frozen no boat is going near." Simon waved him off as he walked away, "Don't worry, I'm resourceful. Also my friend is plenty strong they can handle the situation until I catch up for sure. You'll want to get them there fast, they'll be a big help." The old man shrugged and went back to looking for any new approachers. As soon as he was out of sight Simon broke out into a sprint again allowing his God Leg to accelerate him to high speeds. He circled around the port heading back towards the water as far away from the old man's boat as possible. As he approached the edge of the dock he only sped up, going straight over the edge and surprise surprise started running on water.
Simon laughed a little, "Sorry old man you'll be waiting a while. I work solo when I can. But there was no way I was going to ride on that rickety little fishing boat." He would have felt bad for lying to the old guy but he was far too used to it at this point. People just didn't understand that is really was just easier for him to run places himself, they'd always insist, "No no we wouldn't want to make you do that. Please just ride with us." It was irritating, Simon had only stopped in the first place in the hope that is was a really cool fancy boat. Which it very much wasn't. As he reflected on this Simon got to thinking about just what caliber of boat would be required to make him prefer riding it as opposed to running somewhere. Truly the idea of such a boat baffled the imagination, or at least distracted it long enough for Simon to not see the ice coming. Thus as water became ice, he slipped, fell and slid across the ice with a triple digit initial velocity.
The next thing Simon knew he was buried at the bottom of a massive snow bank on the coast of the island, half conscious half not, all cold.
