Water and Lightning (private, KTH)

Takumi was wandering around Rose Garden, looking for something to do. He was alone, without his pet who usually stuck to him like a shadow. The young Slayer happily walked along, whistling. His small stature made most people give him weird looks, most probably thinking he was but a child. But that didn't bother him. He had been on a roll with jobs lately, so he was excited and happy, because he was going more experience and knowledge with every job he did. At this rate he would be getting stronger and stronger, which he deeply desired so he could finally protect the ones he cared about. It had been too late for his sisters, but he could still protect his guildmates.
Faces flashed through his mind. His team. Julius. Hana. Various members of the guild that had become his family.

BGM:

Julius was on a trip towards Rose garden, he never went to Rose garden so he wanted to see the town himself and sure was a beautiful town there were lights as far the eye could see and market stands on almost every corner. So this is Rose garden? It sure is a beautiful town! Time to do some shopping! Julius didn't brought Squable with him since he was sick at home. Let's see... Where should Julius start.

Though Julius didn't noticed a rope around the corner. Ack! Julius smacked down on his back. One off his leg got stuck inside the rope and the rope suddenly pulled Julius left leg up while right leg remained on the ground. A bucket off water fell all over Julius' upper body. The water made his white shirt transparent and everyone could see Julius' abs. If water wasn't enough a bottle off milk fell over Julius' face covering his face with milk. Yuck! Julius doesn't like milk! Julius swallowed some off the milk but stuck his tongue out off his mouth. It sure was an interesting pose Julius fell in. H-H-How is falling into a pose like this even possible?!

Takumi had noticed the commotion and went to investigate. "J-julius?!" Takumi instantly developed a faint flush upon seeing Julius upside down with a wet shirt clearly showing his abs through it. "You seem to have gotten yourself stuck. Here, let me help." Said Takumi in an attempt to compose himself. He untangled the rope that had tied Julius up, delicate fingers quickly working it loose. Once Julius had been untangled he extended a hand to him and helped the other mage up. "You okay?" Asked Takumi, releasing Julius as soon as he had been righted. Takumi looked a bit different from the last time he had seen Julius. He was taller, his face slightly less round... and had he gotten some muscle mass? He had been so skinny before.

BGM:

Julius' fall didn't went unnoticed by the citizens and tourists off Rose Garden. Some girls walked passed by and started giggling but didn't had any effort in helping Julius. Not only passing women did had the dignity to help Julius the men that passed by were even more creepier and perverted they walked by with smirks on their face and taking pictures. If you have time to make pictures then you also have time to help Julius! Julius said angry. Just as Julius was about to lose hope he saw a familiar face walking towards him. T-Takumi-kun?! It was Julius' guild mate Takumi. Takumi gently removed the rope from Julius.

BGM:

Julius stood up to face Takumi. Thank you Takumi-kun! Julius was getting desperate Julius' shirt was still transparent from the water. Is everything alright Takumi-kun? Your face looks kind of red...

"Julius, you don't have to use honorifics with me. And I'm fine. Though I admit I was shocked to see you like that." He said. He looked at Julius with those intense eyes of his and smiled gently. "Coal, could you quit spying on us, please? I don't need my exceed to babysit me." Called Takumi, noticing a long black tail poking out from behind a dumpster. "Fine then. I'll leave you alone with whoever this is, Takumi." Said a feminine voice, before a delicate black exceed stepped out from from behind the bins and flew off. Takumi sighed and ran one hand through his hair. Julius was bound to be confused, so he quickly explained. "Things have changed. Remember how Heero was the lightning dragon slayer? I'm kindof... the new one."

BGM:

Oh... Julius is sorry it's kind of a tic Julius has when Julius talks to people... Please bear with Julius Takumi-kun hehehehe Julius responded to Takumi's inquire about Julius using honorifics. Takumi said he was pretty shocked seeing Julius in a position like that. Julius has no idea how gravity could bring Julius in an position like that! Julius should be a bit more careful!

He suddenly started saying that he didn't want his exceed spying on him. Julius looked behind him and saw an exceed coming out of a dumpster said something to Takumi and flew off. What the... Julius was a bit confused when did he get an exceed? When Julius took a better look at Takumi he noticed that he looked a bit different then the last time he saw him. Takumi then explained that he was a lightning dragon slayer. Julius' face became fifty shades off pale when he said that Julius is scared off everything having to do with thunder because it can hurt him quite a lot. C-C-Cool! Julius is v-v-very proud of you T-T-Takumi-kun! Julius said nervous while giving Takumi a thumbs-up.

Julius looked down at his shirt it was still transparent Julius quickly closed his pirate coat to cover up the wet shirt. Oh lord... Ummm Julius really needs a new shirt would you like to come along takumi-kun?

"You look kind of pale, Julius. But I may as well come with you. I was going to go look for new clothes myself while I was here, actually. My cloak is getting a bit worn down." Said Takumi, nodding to his torn and patched cloak. It was in pretty bad shape... Takumi had noticed Julius had gotten nervous after he mentioned being the new lightning dragon Slayer. He gently put one hand on the other boy's shoulder and smiled. "Calm down, Julius. It's not like I'm using the magic against you. You won't have to worry about that. You're too special to use something like that on. Why would I use my magic on you?" Said Takumi in an effort to calm Julius a bit. He hugged the other boy before stepping away. "You're part of Fairy Tail, and Fairy Tail is my family."

BGM:

Julius reaction towards Takumi's new magic didn't go unnoticed by him though luckily he didn't know why Julius reacted that way. Takumi also was in Rose Garden to shop for some new clothes, since his cloak was in need off replacement.

Suddenly Takumi rested his hand on Julius shoulder and said that he shouldn't worry about using his magic against Julius since he was to special. Julius was out off words he didn't know how to react after what Takumi said. He then suddenly hugged Julius which caused Julius to be more surprised why was he doing this? Thank you Takumi-kun... Now let's go and buy some clothes

Takumi nodded, smiling brightly. This day would be a whole lot more interesting now that Julius was here... He happily walked alongside his guildmate, whistling. He had definitely gotten rid of that moody phase he had gone through. There wasn't a trace of that left behind. He was almost tempted to link arms... but he stopped himself, not knowing how Julius would react. He didn't want to ruin anything between them.

"Julius, I care about you. Alot. I hope you realize that all members of Fairy Tail all my family... I have no more blood relations, but I have all of you, which is why I care so much. You guys became my family after I lost the only family I had ever known..." Takumi trailed off after that, not knowing what else he could say to the other mage.

With Takumi's nod the two Fairy Tail mages started walking. Julius couldn't help but think back on how he even managed to fall into a pose like that. Julius sighed and just blamed it on the unpredictable thing called: fate, Julius already was glad that Squable didn't saw him like that he wouldn't drop the issue until the last day of his life.

Julius frantically started looking around for the nearest clothing store. Meanwhile Takumi was saying something to Julius but Julius didn't paid to much attention to it for him to hear. Huh?... Oh Julius is sorry Takumi-kun but Julius wasn't paying attention... Julius said. But then Julius remembered something. *sigh* Julius is such an idiot! Julius could've used his water magic to dry off Julius' shirt! Julius opened his coat and manipulated the water inside of it. There much better! Julius was glad his shirt wasn't transparent anymore.

"It dosent matter much anyhow, Julius. I was mostly just rambling." Takumi looked at Julius and sighed. He enjoyed spending time with him, but it often seemed like either he or Julius was off in their own little world when they did. Swallowing his nervousness he draped one arm over Julius's shoulders. "Well if you don't need a new shirt anymore, what do you want to do? My cloak can wait, it's not like Rose Garden is going anywhere." Just that moment, his stomach rumbled, and he grinned sheepishly at the noise it made. "Well I guess we could always go get lunch, if you don't mind. I helped a restaurant owner at one of the nicer restaurants, and in exchange I get a free meal the next time I go there. What would you say to that?" Takumi asked, with a bit of a laugh at his rumbling stomach. The slayer hoped Julius would say yes... He was starving.

Suddenly Julius felt an arm on around him looked with a surprised expression to Takumi since his face was close. And told that they could do something else since there was much to do in Rose Garden. Julius nodded in agreement and at the same time Takumi's stomach rumbled. Takumi grinned and stated that they could get lunch. Julius thought for a moment and agreed to himself that he was hungry. Sure we can get lunch! Julius is a bit hungry to. The good thing was that he didn't had to pay so a free lunch was always welcome. Well lead the way Takumi-kun!

Takumi grabbed Julius's hand and led him down the street happily, towards the restaurant where they would be eating. He tried as hard as he could not to blush, because there was absolutely no way to hide it if he did. The young slayer led julius into a well lit and fancy looking restaurant, saying a few quiet words to the hostess, before being led to a table.

BGM:

Without a warning Takumi grabbed Julius' hand and dragged Julius through Rose Garden. Julius wonders why Takumi is so happy? Maybe he has met someone? Julius didn't gave it any attention anymore because he liked seeing others happy. Takumi had dragged Julius to a very fancy restaurant he looked at the prices and they almost gave Julius a heart attack on how expansive it was. So Takumi-kun how are you doing?
