Phoenix feathers are not as light as one would think. Lark's are actually rather thick and hefty, protecting her from attacks. Because of how tough they are they also manage to make it so the she-phoenix is not affected at all by knock backs, weighing her down to the ground steadily. Because her feathers are so durable, they can also block out most of the feeling from attacks. About half. Though the attack still deals the full damage, for Lark she will only feel about less than half the pain.
