Freddy is very cautious and quiet around people who he doesn't know or has just met. Around his friends though he is loud, obnixious, playful and can be seen as a little bit weird. He is very gentle in nature. Not being a very strong fighter he prefers not to fight and instead likes to "talk things out" and use his words to solve things. At the same time he is very protective and will do anything to protect his "Nakama" and those who are precious to him. He tries to avoid conflict unless it is absolutely necessary to defend himself or those he cares about.Whenever family is mentioned he zones out, which is one of his weaknesses. He has a dark side in which if anybody mentions his mother or father in a negative light he loses all rationality and has little control over himself, attacking everybody and everything around him, this can be calmed easily though either by simply knocking him out or by talking to him carefully and long enough for him to cool down, he has no knowledge of what happens when he returns to normal.
Although he is gentle and nature and would like to avoid fights, he is also somewhat of a cocky and overconfident person. While he does acknowledge his weaknesses privately, he tends to act smug and as if he is perfect. He also refuses to back down from any fights, no matter who it is. When greeted by famous mages or any well known mages he seems to get star-struck and will become a bit of a brown-noser.
Freddy used to be a very fun loving and carefree person. Upon the death of his father and the seperation from his brother his personality changed. Freddy wears his hood up if he is sad or frustrated and wears it down if he is happy or just feeling normal.
Freddy admires his father to a fault. He looks at his father and perceives him to be a "God-like" figure and gets angry whenever anybody mentions him in ill-light. Even though Freddy was born into a rich-Upper class family, the past seven years of his life have made him think on his feet and learn how to protect and fend for himself. He does not like to acknowledge the fact that he was born into a rich family and sees it more of a curse then a blessing. He feels very uncomfortable around rich people.
Out of all things, Freddy wants to feel loved and wanted. He wants to be in a place where he can be happy. He was robbed of his childhood, a father-figure and a family and tries everyday to replace that feeling of emptiness.
Genius-Level Intelligence- Has been able to escape his pursuitors multiple times. Very quick on his feet, very good at formulating strategies. Used his intelligence to escape a high-security, high-level compound in a little bit over a year. Intelligence and cunning led to him and his brother being able to survive, while running/ in-hiding for more then four years. His IQ is 200, high above the level of a genius.
Likes:
Fairy Tail- His comrades, his Nakama his crew. He views the guild as the family he never had and would do anything for it and to protect it.
Sweets- Being spoiled as a little kid, Freddy always got sweets and he loved them. Being locked up and having to live off the land made him miss sweets and when he got them again, he was in heaven.
Strategy Games- This is Freddy's strength. His ability to use his mind and his intellect allows him to defeat people easy in a variety of games, Chess, Checkers etc. He loves winning.
Dislikes:
Bigots- coming from a multi-racial, bi-racial background, Armstrong views everybody as equals and nobody superior to anybody else. He hates people who think otherwise.
Happy Families- It's not so much that he hates Happy Families its more that he is jealous and gets sick at the sight of them. Although a generally nice guy, he feels that other people should not be in a Happy Family together because he never got the chance to be.
His uncle- He despises his uncle with all his heart, soul, brain, body etc. He swears that no matter what he will kill his uncle, even at the cost of his own life.
Motivations:
Avenging his father's death- His father was killed 8 years ago trying to save Freddy and his brother, his sacrifice was in vain though, Freddy not only looks up to his father but admires him.
Saving his brother- After the death of his father, Freddy and his brother were both captured and taken away to seperate high security locations. Freddy used his intellect to escape. While his brother's fate is unknown, he has heard rumors that his brother has become a guinea pig and is barely clinging to life, it is Freddy's resolve to save his fellow last Armstrong.
Fairy Tail- His guild motivates him, it is all the family he has left, he will do anything for his guild including giving his own life in a heart beat.
Killing his Uncle- What Freddy sees as his reason to live, to avenge his father and kill his Uncle. To avenge his whole family. Even so after seeing his Uncle's power he is afraid of him.
Fears:
Having his Past Revealed to his guild members- He is very paranoid in this manner. He feels as if anybody finds out about his past, they will turn on him, betray him and lose interest in him. The feeling of wanting to be loved is greatest for Freddy and the feeling of betrayal is the worst.
His Uncle- He has seen what his uncle can do first hand, while he wants to kill his uncle, he also realizes that he is not nearly strong enough yet. His biggest fear is his uncle attacking him while he sleeps at night and not having the strength to put up a fight. Until that day he trains, harder and harder each and everyday.
Large Bodies of Water- It may be a stereotype but Freddy can't swim. He was never taught and never made an attempt. He never feared water until he was taken away and tortured. The method used most and the most intense before his escape was waterboarding. This made him fear going into the ocean or a river and not being able to escape and drowning and dying a horrible death.

His pecks are normal, not strong and firm nor soft and squishy. He has a long wingspan for his size. His forearms and hands are both very veiny and become even more so when he gets angry. He has short fingernails from biting them all of the time.
He has long athletic legs, which are generally unseeable because he wears baggy sweatpants. One of his weakspots are his feet and they seem to hurt him after walking around or running for just a bit, at the bottom of both of his feet are burn marks. His calfs are both muscular.
Cold Weather/Night gear
Usually wears a plain grey hoodie with nothing on it. Depending on the mood that he is in the hood will either be covering his face or it will remain down. Wears grey baggy sweatpants (with his guild's name/mark if he gets one). Has a red cloth that he got from his grandfather tied around either of his arms at all times. Wears black boots with his pseudo name on the sole of each of them size 13.
Hot Weather
Wears a blue zippable jacket, no undershirt. Leaves the jacket unzipped as to reveal his abs/chest. Wears black shorts with a white seam and has his left leg taped up to the end of the shorts. Wears plain red sneakers size 13. The red cloth he got from his grandfather now is wrapped around his neck to cover up the back of his neck where he got branded.
Dog Tags with his father's name, rank, blood type and religion on it. It is completly red from being drenched in blood and the tags absorbing the blood. It has a crack in the middle of it and writing on the back that simply says "WHY?".He wears this at all times.
