The King of Storms [Solo]

And so that was that, he was gaining the upper hand in the battle, and now it was working in his favor. They were going to war at this point, and now nothing too personal was involved. The ship was somehow still intact, but the rope had been loosen far too much. He was not able to take on the thing without losing the ship though, and he knew that. It began to float away, but he was able to keep the things that meant to him a lot. It also meant that he was going to have to use Yuni in order to get back home, but it was just a little bit of a price to pay for a bigger thing to come, which was the victory that he was about to pull off. Placing his palms together, he would prepare himself for the attack to come. This was kind of based on an R.P.G format, which he thought was cool. However, since he did not play too many games, it was most likely he did not even know what the term meant. It was though, he seemed to know how to play by the rules, and it was his opponents turn to attack. The being would flash it’s eyes again. This time, it was two blue ones and a yellow one. Interesting, a pattern. A sudden ball of wind would strike at him from behind, in which he would jump right over. The next attack would then be one sent towards him from above, in which he would roll away from it. The last was a lightning bolt from the right side, which he would easily dodge by moving his chest towards the ground. It was too easy for him, and he full well knew this. The enemy did not seem to have so much fun, as the eyes would flash again. Two blues, a yellow, a blue, and two yellows. Two spheres of wind would attack, one from above and one from the right side. He would quickly jump towards the back to avoid both of these. A wind and a lightning bolt would both appear from above to strike onto him, but to no avail as he would then push them back with his own wind. Finally, two more lightning bolts would come for him, and he would roll forward to avoid both of the strikes. They were done. He was smiling now, this was definitely a fun battle. N ever in his life had he faced an opponent as strong as that. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would tilt his head to the side and wait for another attack. However, seeing it in the state it was, he could tell that it was his turn. The enemy was losing its energy, making it pretty tired at the end of the day. It seems like Elyx was gaining a lot of ground now. This time, he would just decide to take a casual approach. A nice gentle walk forward to see how his how it would react, and just like he expected, it did nothing to him… Yet…

The elemental was still in a good form though, not yet ready top back down to the fighter who wanted to eat it up. Did it even notice that It just lost a chunk of its body? Then again, it was not going to just ignore the fact that it’s body had been ripped away, even especially considering the fact that it was able to take H rank worth damage and lost that much. The slayer was very much hungry now, getting one small little taste was definitely not enough for him. Now it was not even to avenge what he once had, now he was a meal. The average slayer was able to resist their urges until it came to actually eating the element that they wield. Then their lust for it becomes extremely strong for it. Elyx, even with the amount of resistance he had, can’t fight something that had been given to him by nature. The Reiaki would smile as he would then place his palms against each other, letting out his own aura of dark wind before then having his own turn to defend come up. It was treated as a trade off sort of thing, a prey that can fight back against an attacker will most certainly do it, since they are fighting for life. This time, it was not just the winds that were being made, but they were also made from lightning. The beast would let out a yellow aura from it’s right eye while letting out a blue one from it’s left. Seeing this, the Wizard Saint was curious to see what it was going to try out. All of a sudden, two beams of elements would seem to come out from the eyes, seemingly like his own Bellows. The one from the right eye was made from lightning, and the one from the left eye was made from wind. With that out of the way, he would end up rolling away from the attacks, avoiding them. Now he needed to make it out of the way before he can eat again. The blue one was able to emit wind, so things of the blue color were things that he could eat. And things that were yellow were just going to hurt him. All right, with that in mind, he would brace his feet against the dirt once again before then facing off a second attack, a wall of wind in the way. He would shoulder his way through it before a sudden yellow wall was in the way. It was too sudden, and it would slam with his body, putting him in a little bit of a paralysis. His body was moving a bit slower, and in a choppy way. He was caught for the moment, but he was not going to go down so quickly. Stella was already working on the protection, but it was just so mighty, so he was not going to have a good time with getting the task done. If the enemy attacked him, he was going to have to take it unless he could fight out of it. This was not pleasant.

The walk was short before the monster decided that he apparently walked far enough. Well that was going to make things a little bit hard on itself, because he does not normally just fall back down when someone says no. Does that make him any better than Iza? Eh, definitely not. But t least it was just in battle, she just does not seem to care when she does it. Maybe if that were the only thing that she fixed, she might be so annoying to other people. Oh well, she can do what she wants, as long as it does not affect him or his people in any bad way. Then again, this was we are talking about, she will just do anything she wants whenever she wants, no if, ands, or buts about it. On the plus side, he was able to see the next thing he had to do in order to carry out the task. It decided that the lightning was not going to work too well. And so it would then begin to manipulate the water of the ocean. A giant tide had been made to prevent him from getting any closer from him. It was an amazing trick, but he was wondering how far it was going to take it before it would not work too well. Elyx would quickly let his own S ranked spell, allowing him to turn any other spell into one of his own. In doing so, the water would not even touch him, but turn into his own air, and his own magic was not able to hurt him. With this result, he was protected from the waves. The boat did not make it though, as the woodn planks would be left. A few wet candles, a mattress, and a steering wheel. The rest of the pieces must have been elsewhere, but at least he learned the fate of what happened to his ship. It was time to buy a new one with the money he was about to get from this mission. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would just have the wave of wind he made protect him. The enemy tried to count, but there was a lot of wind, and all of it was being used to protect him. It was eventually broken through, but Elyx was far too close, and would eventually begin to inhale the body of the being once again, taking in more air into his system. The eyes were no longer yellow anymore, but orange. Soon, they would become red if they gained more shades of darkness. Eventually, he would go all out on his opponent from being charged mode. God Force was the name of the technique, and he was getting more and more excited. By this point, he was able to use it. But he wanted to leave it for the end, where there was a lot less risk. And so he would use his self control to prevent himself from doing it. He told himself that it would be worth it if he did. And he believed himself for that very short moment.

This energy was being taken away so quickly this time, and Elyx was not going to let it go. The elemental pillar was weakened down to a very dangerous degree. The damage to the areas around them are pretty minor, he was doing everything right. He’ll stop the storm king at all costs, and should full well know that. With that being said, he would place his palm out towards the enemy, ready to distract it rather than let it attack him. He was getting tired of this. The energy was going down, so why would it not go down? With such a question, he knew that he was making a bold claim, getting tired of the monster. It could do something amazing later on. But then again, many humans and wizards were not able to stop the being from ramming through their village and taking everything away from them. And then this one being, only one Elyx, was able to take it on and damage it because of an ability he had by default. Even without it, he felt it would only just take longer, but he would still be able to take it down. A bold mentality, but this battle had been proving him right anyways. With that being said, there was still some time for the enemy to recover. Elyx would fire a sphere of wind towards his opponent, though infusing it with darkness so that it would actually have some sort of impact rather than get stopped by the shield that was in the way. With that, it would then strike the head, the opponent not even moving out of the way. It flinched, but barely. It was odd considering how powerful it was, all that compressed power. It would then emit a loud roar, showing that it was probably not too happy with the results of this battle and that it was planning to make a change. It better make the change soon, the Sky Slayer is eating up the being so quickly at this point. After only a few more stops, it will no longer be in existence, and that was something he was definitely routing for. Placing his palms out towards, it, he would fire multiple of those spheres to prevent it from doing anything. Each one made it flinch heavily, and soon, it would begin to topple over. It was trying to regain balance, but Elyx would not stop the barrage of spheres before feeling the energy trying to take over his body, the darkness trying to consume him. It would be a waste to continue anyways, it was very still and refused to fall over, so he would stop before he would turn the tides against him by having his own magic consume him. It seems that he had yet to obtain full mastery of it, and he was going to show that he was a lot better than that by showing self control. The being was not able to attack, and so he would decide to take his own turn. He had his eyes locked, and his teeth clenched. He had all the intention to win.

Time to go, he would begin to make his way to the distracted being, which had no defense now before Elyx would then begin the process of taking it into his stomach. Yup, he was just not going to let it go, elyx wanted to hit the final stage already. The Wizard Saint has never entered it, and iust was just going to slow things down if he went for attacks only. If he was able to eat it whole while in the final form of a slayer, it would probably be taken down as a whole when it was small enough. It was extremely huge compared to him, which is why it was able to even resist in the first place. But how long can it resist Is the question, and he was slowly finding out. The damage it was at was stacking, parts of its body had been ripped away and eaten like a piece of bacon. All of the wind went for Elyx, despite him not being able to solely base his magic on wind alone, but use the darkness. This looks like it could end up very well for him. The Guild Master was continuing to gobble down the meal he had to make sure that he was able to consume it. It was a quick eating, a very messy one was well. But it was successful, he was nailing all the weak points and shrinking the size of the being once again. It made him so happy to eat, it was an amazing time for him. Those without the tastebuds to try wind are missing out. The being was slowly recovering, but he wanted to get as much of it out of the way as he can. His stomach was also beginning to get a little bit full as well, which may become a problem in the near future. Hopefully he had enough room to eat the whole being. If not, he was going to have to enter the mode early so that he could make the room. But he had faith that that sort of push will not come to shove. And with such confidence, he continued to eat despite the feeling that he had in his stomach. It would only be a matter of time before he ended up not wanting any more, and his mobility will also be lacking. During that time, the only hope left for him was him to have that feeling only a little bit later by the end of the duration. Fortunately, the being would end up resisting much more and eventually, pulled itself aware. However, it took so long that it was now half in size than the original size that it was in. Perfect, now he was able to capitialize on this moment. He would jump back, ready to attack once again before going back onto the scene. The elemental had other plans it seemed such as striking quickly enough as he was jumping back. The lightning bolts were nothing new for him, he had no idea why it was still even trying. It only gave them distance, but that is it.

The being would then strike, this time, with a seemingly endless supply of fists sent towards him. While that happened, the eyes would glow before starting a pattern. Blue, yellow, yellow, yellow, blue, and he was not able to catch the rest of them, it was because he could not keep up while he was trying to dodge the fists that were coming to kill him. And because of that, he ended up losing his focus and would end up taking two of the lightning beams, paralyzing him at the moment since Stella did not expect him to take a hit. She was already beginning on the repair, but the fists that slammed into him were slowly taking a toll. He would have to drop his knockback, but if he did that the pain of getting thrown into the earth would be a lot more of a hell to deal with. His body was constantly recovering, and so he would end up having himself patched up. But the paralysis was still there, and there was nothing he could do about it. The spell that allowed him to null the effect of the paralysis was still on a cooldown, and he was not able to use it. Because of this, he ended up being paralyzed while a huge set of fists would continue to rain down onto his being. It was not fair for him, it was a lot of power against a paralysis. Then again, was eating it’s body a fair thing either? Seems they were both on even terms. He would protect himself was much as he could by summoning the barrier of the sky deity. However, it only seemed to be able to protect him for the moment before it stopped and the fists would rain down on his being again. While not crushed by them, they still did have a pain factor that came by with each strike. None of them felt any good to him, it would only be a matter of time before he ended up snapping. Looking up to Stella, she was still fixing it, but it was a lot harder for her to do that while he was still in a nasty paralysis such as this one, and he would end up taking more. Quatro was trying to help her, but that only did so much, and the healing of the tingling in his body was ONLY beginning to lower. Otherwise, he would be able to move again. It took a lot of time to heal such a thing, he felt bad for anyone who took the unfortunate wind of it before in the 50 year moment where he did not exist. This was truly an opponent worth acknowledging. And the job said that he just needed to redirect it, but if he were able to kill it, he would be the first person to do it… And he would also be the first person to actually put such a legend to an end. He was going to get it, one way or another, but he was going to get this ended. After he was healed of course… Rip.

Memories would flood back into his head. The first moment where he had met Ignite. She was just a baby phoenix bird. He had no attention during this time, and it was hard for him to make even so much as a friend on the land of Fiore. He had little to no mark, and he was just average Elyx. No one needed or wanted him around, and then Ignite came. Someone needed him, because her parents seemed to have left her behind for some reason. Taking her home, he would then begin to take care of her, and while she may have resisted at first, she ended up being a very nice being. Then there came the stupid moment where she then suddenly became a human form, then jumped onto his bed while she did not have any clothes. Yup, that was how she decided to start a day during that moment, with plenty of blood and her wearing his clothes for a bit. On the plus side, they then became extremely good friends, nearly like a brother and a sister sort of thing. Ignite Rosella, in honor of the guild they first grew up in, even if it did not end up for the better until Iza took the wheel. Then Iza, his lover. She is a Tanuki. She was designed to naturally be annoying. And she took the form of a human plenty of times, playing all sorts of pranks and pulling all sorts of stunts. However, she was happy at the end of the day. That happiness is what any person would love to have with them, and he as grateful that he had that in his girl, even if she did it to annoy the living hell out of him. There were her sweet moments as well, like when she goes to sleep, she was not even aware of anything else. Anyone was so vulnerable when they were sleep. And then her role as a Slayer, an Ice Slayer to be exact, though she would then annoyingly correct people and make them say glacier, which he probably would not bother doing. There was his guild, they were waiting for him to return home to them. They needed him, and if he went out, who were they going to have to lead them? It was far too early, and he was not going to abandon the people that he could truly call his family. They were all his members, and his life came before theirs, but not for such a stupid reason such as this. With these memories, he would put them all together in order to form what he wanted in the end. Life. It was so precious. It was so limited. It was so needed. And he knew to treasure it. The elemental was going to have to go down, since it took so many others with life in them, and so he was going to return the favor. He could not just drift it away, not after it did what it did. And it was not like it was not done on purpose either… It most certainly was.

It was time to get it out of the way, he was going to mow it into the ground if he had to do it by force, there were many people that he had to look to, and many of them had him to look up to if they needed it. In the end, while he does this sort of thing for fun all of the time, he truly cares for the health of those who need or want him, and will definitely do his best to make sure that they be on the top of his list. So with that, he would snarl, no longer having any of the games. The fists were still striking on him, his energy as still being recovered, but the constant feel of the pain was just getting annoying now. His eyes became white now, his hair became snowy white, and his clothes became black. His clothes were now a lot more formal was well, but his power became dangerous. The fists would hit the barrier of his own. Enough wind had been consumed, he was at a full amount of power, and now his opponents were going to pay with their lives. His hair was waving around in the wind as it became extremely spiky. He no longer had that adorable innocent face, but now he had a sleeker set of eyes and his lips were no longer neutral. His eyes were halfway closed, and his muscles were actually visible through the clothes now. He was no longer playing around. His pants were still jeans, but in a black color, and a bit more formal somehow. His shoes were now boots, and they were heavy in the amount of heavy material that it used. The elemental was still trying to strike down onto him, but he refused to budge to it. And so he would eventually just begin walking, the barrier protecting him from all of the lightning bolts and the fists. He was walking through them all, none of them affecting him in any way. It was a brutal barrage too, it was likely to wipe out armies. But not Elyx, who in himself is an army. And part of that requires the being to learn it’s lesson. It was no longer going to disrupt the island or anything outside of it any further. The God Slayer had an enhanced amount of power added to him, so he would then place his palms out towards it and begin to execute the best move that he was able to provide for himself. It was a giant nuke to be formed right in front of him. The magic would instantly sign the contract with the sky deity, and once that had been done, the atoms were being split at an insanely fast rate, soon creating a nuclear explosion the towered all the way up to outer space. The atmosphere had even been broken as well, which was an added bonus form him as well. The task had been done for sure, all of the damage he used ended up stacking up real tall. It was beautiful, game over for the opponent elemental.

The nuclear explosion would eventually die down after a minute. And at the end of it, he was able to win the battle. The elemental only left at a normal human size, somehow taking all of that damage. It was trying to attack him with small mini fists, persistent, but to no avail. Elyx would finish the job off by inhaling the whole body of the being. The fact that it even lived after all of that was amazing, he would definitely earn a spot in the book of things that Elyx has beaten in the past as a valuable player. But at the end of the day, no matter how tough the opponent, if they were defeated, they were defeated. And victory was his to obtain. It was a lot quicker than he expected it to be. However, he only just grew to know of his God Force mode, and there was no actual way for him to test it out. The only thing he could do now was go to claim the reward. For some reason, he felt like he had a lot of power. The power in him to run on the ocean was immense. So with that, he would do just that. His feet were able to walk on the water, simply due to the fact that he was taking on the role of someone that light. With the energy of him just barely leaving a trace, the island had been left in a bit of a mess but not even the main parts of it, and the Storm King was not going to return ever again. It had been eaten up by the Sky Slayer, who enjoyed the delicious meal. It was a beautiful way to end the job, but now he needed to return back home. So he would place his palms in his pockets as he would continue to run on the water. In doing so, a piece of wood would fly up as he accidently stepped on it in the process. There was a pretty good guess as to whom it originally belonged to. It did not matter though, he did not need it anymore. He would pull out the photos that he had in his pocket. Though they were a little bit crumpled up from the battle, they were not even scratched. They were not even ripped in fact, they were in a decent condition for him to save and put up in his office, where he can truly keep them in a safe place. No one was getting in Oahu without his permission, and no one was getting into his office without his DNA in the eye. And that could only be him. So with that out of the way, he would then move out towards the land of his named the Phoenix Mountains. It was nighttime, so he had spent all day in ther,e rather than finishing the task by noon like he expected. That was fine, it was a 100 year job, and one should treat it as such rather than a simple few hours of a task. It was a great time.

The task had been done, and he had arrived back to the Golden Phoenix Guild. Nothing new it seemed. The Phoenix birds were still active and shining brightly. This was his home, and he was very much proud to call it that and no less. He would just take a small gentle walk down to see what he could find as he went up the mountain. There was going to be nothing new there, but he still had hope. Soon, he was going to be able to buy a lot of cool things for the guild. The ship was the first one, where they get to go exploring on the sea and find all sorts of cool things. In doing so, they would end up getting a member to travel with them and hopefully even a new crew to either battle against, or ally with. If the pirates were with Fiore, they were going to gain a lot of support and the Magic Council Is going to look onto the guild with a smile on their faces. That was good from both a moral standpoint and a business standpoint. It was a nice ending for him in the end. It was just one thing he wanted to do though. There were many more things that could be done for the guild if he so wishes to, but he needed to make sure to have his priorities in check. He wanted to eat and drink things as well, and provided no one like Iza or Ignite raided his jewel account, he should be fine. However, knowing his life, it was not going to be that easy, and he was going to have to do a lot of fighting to get what he wanted at the end of the day. With that being said, it was not all doom and gloom. These jewels that he got were personal, he might buy himself something nice at the end of a job. Perhaps he would be able to buy a whole new country. If he did that, it was going to be a heavy bullet to take, but one that was full well worth it. There were others who also needed jewels, so that was also a thing he needed to consider. Provided no one was in his debt, he should be good with them. And even then, he might just give things out just for the hell of it. It would make the place a lot happier. But for now, these were just some minor plans that he had for him and his group. For now, it was just time to exit the scene and move on to do something else. It was time for sleep, and after eating all of that wind, he could feel the sugar crash getting to him. He would let out a small yawn from his lips, covering his lips even while no one was on the scene. It was just him being himself once again. He would make it to the top of the mountain once again before then opening the portal to Oahu, and on his way to the underwater city he goes.

That was the end. The monster had been beaten to a pulp and eaten away. The bonus had been done, so all he needed to do was send a letter and shoot it up the tube. It would only be then and only then where he would be able to cash in what he obtained. 300k jewels is a lot, it was nearly four times the rant of the average home. One could because very rich quickly with that amount, and he simply got it by having a meal of his own element. It was an extremely sweet and spicy meal at the same time. And he would do anything to repeat it. But for now, the task had been done, and Elyx felt like the usual self that he was. Constantly clearing the jobs, even those that are considered hard. And while many wonder how he does it, it’s just usually because he has a goal by the end of it. And one certain goal came to mind, making everything he can for his current guild. Not everything was free though. At the end of the day, no matter how nice a person can be, life is more of a business rather than a charity. To have a business, one must invest their time into it like he is right now. So with that he would begin to write the letter to the sender who put him up for such a dangerous mission. It was nearly midnight, and he was writing this while he was lacking the energy to do such a thing, but here he was doing such a thing anyways, and so he would begin.

“Hey there, I am Elyx Reiaki. Iw as the one who took the job that you told me to and ended up not just beating the monster, but I actually ended up killing it as well. It should not disturb anyone anymore, and if it dares try to come back, I will make sure to put it to a stop once again. If you need anything, tell me. Also, the island seems to be safe since the battle was at the edge of it, rather than the center, so no need to worry there. You can check to see if there is any damage over there or not. But if not, then I would like to claim the jewels as soon as possible. With that, he sealed the letter in an envelope, sent it on its merry way, and would then end up going to sleep when the God Force mode ended, no longer letting him stay awake. What perfect timing, and what a perfect result for the job. Success.
