As per request of the chieftain of some warrior clan known by the name 'Blue Sky Clan', the young yokai was in Desierto, in a small pub within the safe limits of the Sultan's city. Though he would only be here long enough to meet his partner of which he would be doing and completing this job with, well, hopefully completing it. Itazura wasn't well acquainted with this man, didn't even know his name, probably wouldn't remember if he was told anyways. Squatting comfortably atop a stool that was placed in front of the bar counter, drinking peacefully from a tall glass. A large amount of heavy alcohol filled the cup, though it had already been emptied plenty of times, and he had only gotten here not even a good twenty minutes ago. It is no wonder why his liver hates him, thought this is common behavior of a yokai such as himself, itachis especially love alcohol. That is part of the reason they are ever seen out and about, pretending to be humans usually in the form of a young child. Though Ita was more strange then most, though he wasn't that social, he was more social then any other weasel. Or at least any other weasel that he knew. Though he would probably empty many more glasses of alcohol, depending on how long this person, whoever they may be, would take to get here.

Desierto was a welcomed change considering Norva's last destination. Iceberg was cold, bitter, and very punishing to full-armored combatants like him. Had it not been for the winter clothes the village elder had offered him, he would have definitely froze to death within the first night.
Nonetheless, Norva continued walking through the desert landscape until he found the settlement he was looking for. In fact, it was one of the few standing cities around. The rest... well, they were all destroyed. Abandoned, taken apart, and burned to the ground. All of the broken cities, testaments to his next target's true destructive capabilities. It almost frightened Norva to think about what the Red Sand Bandits were capable of... almost.
Once Norva was within the city, he found the pub at which he was to meet his job partner. Although he wishes he could handle it on his own, Norva lacked the skills and strength to hunt down a clan of bandits, hence the partnership with a person he has yet to meet. The metal hit-man was skeptical as to who this partner was. Hopefully, they would allow Norva to complete the job and earn the reward for capturing the Red Sand Bandit leader. Even though it went against his usual way of working, he decided it would be best to capture the leader instead of killing him. The reward was worth more that way.
Norva pushed through the entrance of the pub and looked around, his metal mask scanning each face in the room. However, finding his partner was harder than he should've considered... after all, no description or picture was given. He saw many muscled men who could've very well been who he would perform his job with. All of them looked like knuckleheads though. Norva's eyes moved to the different figures in the pub, passing a strange kid squatting on one of the stools. What was a child his age doing in a pub, drinking nonetheless?
Norva continued looking, but it was hard trying to find the person he was supposed to meet. Hopefully the appearance of a fully armored man with two hook swords attached to the waist would hint his supposed partner at the idea that Norva was who he was waiting for.
As time went on, a few faces glanced over at Norva. A few confused, a few scared. However, time went by and they all returned to their own drunken conversations. Norva went up to the bar and sat on the stool, not bothering to order a drink.

The kamaitachi was able to empty a couple more glasses before his partner arrived, holding his just refilled cup he glanced back with his hazel gaze. He guessed that this was the man he was supposed to work with. He smelled different and had a stronger aura then anybody else around. Though covered in metal, and he was unable to his face, the way he walked just seemed more intelligent. Though this might not make any sense to anybody else, the itachi knew. And he didn't really care if others didn't. Waiting until he sat himself a few seats away from him, he turned and climbed off of the bar seat. Walking over to him at a slower pace, the sound of his boots hitting the wooden floor was drowned out by the talking of everybody within the pub. Holding his glass with his nimble fair skinned fingers, walking over he grabbed the shoulder of the man sitting next to his job partner.
With a grunt he looked back at the itachi, staring at him with his permanent scowl. Before he could even speak, the yokai spoke. His eyes turning red, and his gaze not braking from the man's as he did so "I would like to speak with my friend, so take your glass and go over there." little did anybody around know, but he was using his natural power of hypnosis. With a slight nod the man took his drink and went over and sat were the yokai was previously sitting. With a mischievous smile on his face he squatted on the seat next to the mercenary. "Looking for me?" he asked, leaning his elbow on the counter and laying his chin in his hand. Placing his glass on the table, he signaled the bar keep for a refill.

Norva didn't have to wait long after sitting down. Sure enough, his supposed job partner was in the room, already making his way towards Norva. Then, the kid he had seen before walked over and ordered the man next to Norva to go sit somewhere else. Norva was skeptical at first, but he saw a glow in the boy's eyes, a red glow. It didn't take a magic scholar to understand that wasn't natural. It did catch Norva off guard, though he should have taught himself not to become subject to such surprises.
Nonetheless, Norva nodded his head and held his hand out for the peculiar boy to shake. "If you plan to hunt down a gang of bandits, then yes. I'm Norva." The metallic mage took the chance to study his partner. Although first looks pegged the boy as a child, Norva noticed something else there that contradicted with his first impressions. Although the boy's physical appearance seemed young, his eyes showed something that's seen much more than any child could ever see. They had that gleam in them that only an elder had.
Behind his helmet, Norva furrowed his brow. This mage really was something very different from what he's seen elsewhere... Norva would have to remain vigilant during his time with this man. He would not become subject to any more surprises, else he want to end his travels this day. Norva had much more to search. He wouldn't let an unsuspected attack keep him from that.

Now looking at him with hazel eyes, the red from them now faded now that he wasn't using hypnosis anymore. Though he couldn't see his face, he suspected that his little thing there surprised him, if only slightly. Which made a slight laugh escape his lips, though it only lasted a moment. He looked away, and stopped leaning on his elbow as the bartender refilled his glass. Keeping his smile upon his face he lifted the glass to his lips. Listening to the mage speak as he whipped his head back, taking in the alcoholic fluids like it was in a shot glass. Chugging it in a few gulps he slammed it back at the counter. "That would be me~" he said with a playful little wink. He tapped his fingers repetitively on the counter, looking back up at the man, trying to see through his armored mask to his face.
He wasn't to fond of armor, it was heavy to wear, and people wearing it were hard to deal with. And were especially hard to read to facial expressions. So he would just have to rely on body language, the way he talks and his smell and aura of course. "So where to my friend~?" he asked, addressing the man of which he was unaware of his name, as 'friend'. Though he guessed that he wasn't a typically friendly person, and didn't want to be addressed as so. And knew that himself, wasn't much for making friends, and being to attached to anything or anyone. But you can't prevent that can you?

Norva rested his elbow against the bar and put a finger to his chin. Attacking the Red Sand Bandits was the simple part of the plan. However, finding them in the first place would be the part that required more thought. Norva leaned in closer and kept his voice down to a quiet level, so only the two of them could hear his robotic distorted voice. Red Sand Bandits could very well be in the same pub as them. If their plans were overheard, then it would ruin the element of surprise, one of the only things going for them.
With a small gesture of the hand, raising two fingers up, Norva spoke quietly to his strange job partner. "The way is see it is that we have two options. We can wait for the Red Sand Bandits to attack their next target, but we may miss them at our most advantageous point. I suggest we find out where they have set up camp by looking at their previous targets." Norva briefly turned to the bartender and asked for a map of the region, preferably paper as to avoid drawing the same attention a glowing lacrima map would. Although the bartender gave the armored hit-man a few strange looks, he fetched a map and laid it out on the bar in front of the two mages.
Norva pointed to the cities that were raided and destroyed by the bandits up until now. "The cities they attacked all curve along the edge of this barren piece of desert," Norva pointed to a plain part of the map next to the destroyed cities. "My guess is that they've stationed in this desert as an ideal staging point for their attacks. If we can find their camp, then we'll have the advantage in finding their weakest moment. However, I do think we'll need to wait for their next attack if we find their camp. If we try to attack when they are all there, then we'll be heavily outnumbered and outgunned. We should wait for the moment when they move out for their next target and attack when they're most fatigued from the trek." Norva sat up and away from the map, taking a slight breath. "Thoughts?"

The weasel listened closely to every word that the hitman spoke, he seemed very informed. And did lots of research. Unlike the kamaitachi who did nothing besides talk to their employer then head here to meet up with his job partner. He wasn't much for planning, more for jumping right into the thick of things and dealing with whatever happened when they got there. But for now, he decided to humor him. Pondering what he said, and thinking of what to say back to the mercenary when he asked for his suggestions."Hmm, I have no complaints. So we just wait, how long and where do we go?" He asked, telling the barkeep to fill his cup with heavier alcohol, and the man walked away to get some while muttering a thought of how somebody who looks like that could drink so much.
He placed his finger on the edge of the glass and traced his finger along the rim of it, thinking random things as he did so. Nothing to important, so not really worth mentioning. He tried to keep his depressive thoughts locked up, as to not get distracted from what he was doing. That being him actually being a responsible wizard for once in his long life and trying to help out the metal man with their mission. Though I'm quite unsure as to why he is deciding to be like this, just is. Lifting his finger off of the cup as the bartender poured his drink. He picked up the glass and stared into the liquid reflection of himself with sorrowful eyes. Having failing to push off some of those depressing thoughts, though he managed not to release it into his aura so everybody who could sense his aura would know his condition. The only way it showed, was through his hazel eyes. Which were slightly covered by his dirty blond bangs. And he kept his mischievous smile on, as to not be seen as depressed by his partner.

The boy truly did strike curiosity in Norva. The way he grinned, and moved, all seemed so close to normal... but something was off about it. The way it was done almost seemed so perfect that it was fake... so delinquent that it was genius... So mischievous that it was planned. And as his job partner looked down at his newly refilled drink, Norva could swear that he saw something in the reflection, a break in the juvenile behavior.
It didn't matter though. This boy was simply a temporary job partner, so no obligation for consolation... if he had and real worries at all. Norva pushed the map back towards the bartender, motioning for him to take it back. "It'd be best if we find their camp as soon as possible, then set up our own camp close, but out of sight. From there, we'll be able to keep an eye on them and move when they attack their next target," he said, standing up from his stool. "If you have no objections, then we'll immediately gather necessary supplies and make our way to the desert to locate their camp."
With plans discussed and the meeting finished, they should be able to act upon their plan immediately. However, Norva did not want to immediately lock down any suggestions that his job partner may have, so the masked mage turned around and faced the curious boy of whom he still did not know the name of. "If you have something else in mind though, then I'll be willing to hear it."

His face looked thoughtful for only a moment as he pondered whether or not he had anything to add. Then he spoke "Well If we're gonna have to gather lots of food, warning you that I eat a lot and I get a tad cranky when I'm hungry" he said with a slight chuckle afterwards, and a playful expression on his complexion. Then he drank the alcoholic beverage from his glass, the placed it back onto the counter. "Well let's go" he said climbing down from the seat, he turned and was about to walk out until he heard the barkeep clear his throat to get the yokai's attention. With a guilty expression on his face he looked back, and the bartender had a slightly irritated expression and he held out his hand for money. The kamaitachi laughed nervously and patted his empty pockets, then the guilty expression faded when a mischievous idea came to mind. Muttering under his breath 'Seika-Chan don't kill me' though might've not been loud enough for anybody but Norva to hear. Turning around he lifted up his dirty blond hair showing the blood red guild tattoo for the famed Black Rose "Put it on my guild's tab" seeing this as satisfactory, the bartender nodded then wandered off to tend to other customers.
Letting out a sigh of relief, he looked back at the hitman to see him getting off of the seat. With no words, he pulled up his black hood and pushed his hands into his pants pockets. And he proceeded to follow the mercenary out of the pub. Rather excited for what was to come, it was going to be rather entertaining. "Name's Aruzati by the way" he said, using his alias like always, finally introducing himself to the man. "You?"

Norva watched as his job partner revealed his guild tattoo to the bartender... odd to think that someone as strange as this boy would be a part of a guild. Then again, he is taking up dangerous jobs such as the one they were on right now. It's not a surprise to think that he would take advantage of the benefits.
As they were exiting the pub, the boy introduced himself as Aruzati. What an interesting name. "Norva," he replied in return. With names to address each other by, Norva felt that they were reasonably prepared for the challenge to come. First things first, they'd pack up what they need... and if Aruzati was true to his word, then they'd need a lot of food. One person would probably carry food exclusively while the other hiked in camp equipment and such. It shouldn't be too difficult to do.
Granted Aruzati agreed with the plan, Norva would begin making his way around the block, buying all the non-perishable food they would need. After all, there was no telling how long they would need to scout the camp before they attacked. As far as finding the camp in the first place, the search should be relatively quick with an ability to sense nearby blood. Norva was thankful he had that in the first place.
Once they had gathered the necessary supplies and placed them in two packs, Norva suggested they begin their search in the desert. Hopefully Aruzati was up for the challenge... and Norva also hoped he liked hiking, because they'd be doing a whole lot of that.

Norva, a pleasant sounding foreign name, he wondered what it meant. Staying silent as he followed the mercenary, helping do what he could to gather supplies. Going from store to store grabbing different things. Norva listening to his suggesting to grab a lot of food, a type of food that's non-perishable. Huh, strange, humans had food prepared and stuffed into metal container for times such as these. Well weren't they the smart little bunch of worms. In one of the stores that they were in, it seemed to have little bits of everything it was amazing, something shiny caught him eyes. A silver necklace with a blue gem, and just his luck it was unlocked by one of the store staff. That person wasn't looking at the time and in seconds, with no one catching him, he broke of the tag and pocketed the jewelry. For no reason other then it was shiny.
Now that they finished gathering all the supplies that they needed, they wore packs on their backs that weren't very light. But he didn't complain, considering it didn't bother him in the slightest. Yeah, he had a tiny body of a not fully matured young man, but he had the strength, senses and other abilities of a yokai. So it didn't bother him in the slightest. Something that did, was the extensive heat of the desert terrain that they were in. Though some animals of his kind, weasels, did live in sand like areas that were probably as hot or hotter then this place. But he defiantly wasn't one of those weasels. He originally grew up on a mountain that was very high up and close to the sky, it didn't ever get this hot, but it got over fifty degrees below. So of course he got the job that didn't play to his strong suits, well that was just great. Looking at Norva, he wondered why the heck he wasn't dying of heat either. The kamaitachi was no professional on armor, but didn't it get really hot in the sunlight? He shook of that thought and kept up with the hitman's walking pace. Though the weasel had a naturally long walking stride, it was hard to keep up with somebody who was over six feet tall.

Finding the bandit hideout would be quite a chore. The desert spanned more than eighteen miles in any direction and the hideout would be surely well hidden. Perhaps it'd be in a cave? It'd be much more difficult to find their target then. Norva would have to rely on his blood vision. Still... that'd mean the two of them would have to get within 100 meters of any of the bandits. The chances of finding their base were slim.
Norva cursed under his breath, looking back at Aruzati. Perhaps he would have a good way of finding the Red Sand Bandits... No, he shouldn't rely on that. If the boy didn't have a way of finding their target, then the two were basically looking for a needle in a burning haystack. They'd have to be smart about where they look. If Norva had known the terrain better, then he could pinpoint ideal spots to place a camp. Unfortunately, he didn't have a map on him. Last one he saw was at the bar.
"Dammit." Norva whispered under his breath. With the mask on, his voice probably wouldn't reach Aruzati. Good. He didn't need him panicking. Anymore loss of concentration or composure would cause Norva to pass out. The suit was already hot enough as it was, but the desert was just making it even worse. Hmm... maybe he could find an alternate universe where the desert was frozen to cool himself of? That could very well work.
Norva stopped and pulled off the heavy pack he was toting around. "I'll be right back." He said, before disappearing in a flash of green light. Only moments later, he returned in the same flash of unnatural light, his grey armor covered in frost and snow. Much better.
The armor-clad hitman picked up his pack and continued walking along.
After countless hours of searching through canyons, crevices, and hills, Norva was considering setting up camp for the day. The two of them would rest and then continue at night, when the sun wasn't blazing down on them. However, their persistence would earn them the discovery of their goal. After a hefty hike up the range of rock formations, Norva suddenly got a tingling sensation in his head.
Norva held up his hand as a signal to wait. "I think we might be near..." After a few moments of looking around, Norva picked up a source of blood near the bottom of their specific mini-mountain. Then he picked up two... no, three, four... Within the minute, Norva had sensed over twenty different sources. "Bingo. Alright, we'll set up camp on the other side of that boulder," he said, pointing to a large red rock casting an even larger shadow across the ground. "We'll decide when to attack after we get some sleep. I'll take first night guard. Sound good?"
