    Spoiler:

    Eris

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) 9V2Molp

Loud music reverberated through the large room with heavy beats that could be felt pumping through one's body egging on the mood and provoking emotions among the crowd that gathered to dance and connect with people.   Over eighty people in this room alone were moving in mass with the rhythm of the music,  eighteen more were more interested in the two bars on either side,  with Eris herself.  Denielle,  rather,  as she stirred her fragile glass with an olive-adorned toothpick before sipping it and placing it back against the bar,  its smooth surface glowing with a blue hue much like most the lighting in this room that was full of blue, purple,  pink,  and white neon lighting that was careful to produce little actual light keeping the dance floor dimly lit by a cool glow.

A faint mist hung in the air coming from the vents around the room in the walls and floors pumping the room full of mood enhancers enforcing the specific atmosphere here.   A cool sensual aura,  lustful and erotic but more pure and emotional than the hot and heavy red lights of Purgatory two floors below where Denielle sat on her white leather stool watching the humans enjoy the services she had in her establishment.   The Velvet Society.  She could see it all taking place,  the activities in the many VIP areas just as present before her as the dancing figures in the room with her or the bartender who's uniform was specific to the room and accentuated her figure drawing the eyes of the men and women in the room on occasion.  There was plenty to look at here in this room alone,  wandering eyes had plenty to keep them busy.

She paid scant attention to the man at her side as he filled her ear with his stories of self aggrandizement and boastful comments about his stature where he's come from and his reputation, his wealth,  how he was in a nearby city on business and had to stop by.  The Velvet Society was always full of people coming and going,  it was natural that most people did not know who the owner was or that they might actually meet her sitting at a bar watching the events without pomp or ceremony. There were nights for that.  She didn't feel like it tonight.  As a result,  she had men attempting their moves unaware of her,  only knowing that a beautiful woman appeared to be alone at the bar with different men taking their shot looking to take her to a private room or back to their hotel,  some with more innocent intents but it was hard to keep thoughts innocent here in Euphoria, the floor above the more casual main floor and certainly difficult to avoid one's lust in Purgatory, the floor below where there was more than a little skin on display.

It was moments later that something piqued her interest,  a cry ringing above the masses.  It was nobody present,  no one nearby,  it was a lone voice praying.  To her,  a desperate soul straying from their gods to seek out new powers,  someone or something that may listen to them.  Their soul meant nothing to her,  but their wish...  Sometimes a wish was its own reward.   Please,  Sanguinoth,  please kill him.   He needs to die, please,  my parents, my friends,  my brothers,  kill him. Please,  kill him.  Tears were streaming down her face,  a younger looking girl.  She could see her heart,  she was in Era when disaster struck years ago.   She could see in her desires that recent activities and the public knowledge of Heero and Shuhei's encounter with him,  it had sparked memories of him.   Please kill Acnologia.   The last words faded as the girl passed out,  praying from her bed under the moonlight streaming from a window.

She meant nothing to Eris.  Her troubles were part of the hopelessness of mortality,  her existence was small and irrelevant to her.  But wishes were powerful tools.  The idea twisted at her mind.  She had on occasion considered hunting the dragon for her own means,  but had never paid serious attention to the thought,  she had other things to do.  But to grant this wish,  would be to give her the insight.  The illusive dragon king would be revealed to her.  Her wishes could not slay anyone who did not make the wish,  but it would give her the means to find him for herself,  something that alone was a challenge for most people.  It made the prospect of hunting the beast more accessible.  It was a pleasing thought to her,  the more she thought about it.  The more she grew fond of the plan forming in her head.   Perhaps her goddaughter would appreciate the gesture,  she had grand fantasies of how friendly Eris may or may not have been with her father,  but her reasons for taking her in for over a decade were her own.  The pact was no small motivation either.

Red stood from her stool at the bar with her drink in hand,  throwing her head back and draining the crystalline glass of its content and set it back down with a firm clink against the smooth counter.   "It has been a pleasure, Jameson was it? Enjoy the rest of your evening."  She said as she turned to leave the bar,  crossing the room with a brisk stride as the man gathered himself and followed after her, baffled.   The moment she rounded the corner in the hall beyond the doors however,  she was nowhere to be seen,  the intense music and skin-tingling atmosphere disappearing behind her as she stepped into a far away bedroom,  appearing in front of an old worn down closet into an old wooden bedroom.  The floorboards would surely creak if she stepped on them,  but she did not.  She hovered effortlessly,  her legs partially disappearing into wisps of smoke as she silently drew herself towards the bed.   The girl was asleep,  but not out of reach.

The world around her inverted as though being funneled away leaving Eris to find herself in Era,   a vision was on repeat.  A great dragon ridden by a mage as a hydra streaked across the sky towards it,  the dragon reared its head back and unleashed a torrent of chaotic energy that swept out over the city before the hydra would have made contact with it and the dragon disappeared,  flickering she could see into the distance,  leaving the hydra to roar and seek it out again as the dragon's master fled with it in tow.  The roar of the hydra triggering the scene to start anew,   and Eris could watch as the girl's home was split in two before a child's eyes.  In an instant her world was gone,  all she knew was vaporized.    Curling her hand into a fist as though to grab hold of the scene,  the beam froze in the air as her form coalesced out of the air.   No skeleton,  no undead,  no demonic horror.  Just Eris,  taking the form of the mother she had just seen vanish in a beam of destruction.

"Mom?"  The child's voice cracked as she asked,  surprised by the sight of her mother rising from the ashes and emerging from the light of the beam that had killed her.  A divergence from the repeating horror that went through her dreams over and over again.  Something new,  something hopeful.  Eris could feel the strong desire overcome the girl,  a hope that it was real,  that this was happening.

"No" Eris said,  shaking her head,  a crackle of flame flickering in the reflections in her eyes.  "You know who I am."   She spoke,  her mind rolling over the girl's own mental state pulling her out of the haze of her dream.  The child shimmering in the air,  elongating as it stretched taller to reveal an older girl,  the girl who had prayed for her.  For the death of the dragon that remained frozen in the air with wide wings blocking out the sun,  its jaws wide as it's roar remained paused.

"You've really answered my prayer,  I've been praying for weeks...  I found your name in a book an old man gave me today,  he said my prayers would be answered,  I just had to say the right words.   Have... you come to grant my wish?"  She asked with hesitation slowing her voice.    Eris did not speak in turn,  but held out her palm to the girl.  A rune sparked in the air above it,  a symbol appearing there,  wreathed in smaller writings in the same ancient language,  imparting knowledge at a glance to those who looked upon it.   Eris had no patience to draw this meeting out longer than it need be.   The girl knew what must be done,  she knew the price to be payed.  Slowly, she made up her mind.  She reached for the rune.

In a flash of red light the scene was broken,  Eris was floating above the bed as the girl stirred in her sleep but continued,  expression relaxing from the tension she held before as though she had found some sort of peace.   In the other corner of the room another young girl stirred in her own sleep,  rubbing her eyes as she sat up in bed and looked at Eris,  one leg half off the bed as though she had been getting up to do something when she had seen the figure in the room with them.  Her eyes were wide with fear,  her heart beating faster.   Eris raised a finger to her mouth,  a faint shhhh leaving her lips.  For an instant,  her face disappeared,  leaving only a burning skeleton of herself for a flash.   The girl's heart skipped a beat,  her muscles spasming for a second as she jumped and her head rolled for a second as she passed back out.   They were in an orphanage,  Eris didn't care to note earlier.  She didn't care now either,  seeing the palm print burn inside the girl who's wish she had just accepted,  Eris's business was done here.

Could have kept going for longer,  but I think I'm running on long enough XD   Gotta work towards actually gathering everyone first,  and to do that there has to be a reason and a source.   I've got the source and the reason,   my next post will be to find you guys.

No IC rush at all!  Describe what your characters are up to on their own,  perhaps set a tone and mindset that would make them accept a stranger's call to go kill a dragon (I wonder if she'd even say who the dragon was,  just that it's a dragon...)

No letters, no messages,  literally just establish where your characters are and stuff <3   Part of an adventure is establishing the beginnings <3

"Those tormented screams... What do they mean?"

There were many things to do during these days. In the calm meadows that the Reiaki would wander around, he would notice that the surroundings were something more than what they were made out to be. For example, there was a bit of history behind the blades of grass. Some of the tips were stained with the color of ashes, where he ended up fighting Ignite before they met a lady in a kimono. She was a silent one, a being that did not prefer to speak. When she did, she placed mages in a trance-like state that could entice the soul of any man she felt. Why? It was apparently a curse given to her, despite how much he knew that many ladies would like that. Living in a tribe that had orchestra, there were many humble girls back in Shadelle. Due to this, they would not be so outgoing and interactive with the guys, and vice versa. It looked unfortunate until both genders grow older and soon grow hormonal. It was nothing to fear, they grew up and eventually paired off with each other. Perhaps that was the perfect time, when they did not have to worry about education or finding a stable job to obtain a good amount of jewels. However, being shaped in the way he did, he was unable to experience that sort of healthy-sounding lifestyle. Instead, he chose the path of a rogue because of the ones that dared to take one of those Lerales and torture her. The weapon was locked in the back of his head, it was a tactical knife that was driven through the flesh of the one that he called his lover at the time. He was fifteen, and probably did not know so much about romance during that time. Then again, he also should not know about the type of beings that there were that could do such a thing to a human and feel little remorse. Yet both happened anyways. Now, he looked back to that moment four years ago.

So laughable now, he knew what happened to the girl, she was in his guild now. Adrelissa Sosayaki, a blue-haired pianist that used a keyboard formed from the light around them to carry out magic attacks. However, once she took the embrace of darkness through her system, she trashed the Lerale magic like he did and went on to carry with a new path. There was no Nimpha to reassure her that she was okay. All those tears that had been shed, and no help was given to her. Not a single ounce of mercy had been shown to the fifteen year old. What made Elyx so special? Why could it not have been Adrelissa? Why did the poor lady have to suffer instead of the gentleman? Despite these questions, the Sky Slayer would mutter under his breath as he hung his head down. He damn well knew the answer to that, and the constant reminder that popped into his mind was damning to him. I ran. He thought to himself, his lips locked in a neutral position, trying not to bring himself down with such a scenario. In the incident of Adrelissa being tortured in front of his eyes, she screamed at him to run. The men were all continuing to slaughter her slowly, and all that he had on him was a violin against how many more Lerale beings that had much more experience than he did? It was not far, everything was stacked against him. Being so young and being forced to make such a choice, what else could he have done for her? He figured there was nothing, and so he left her to die, hoping that by some odd miracle that she would be okay and that he could see her again. Only part of that was a true wish, and only by a technicality as well. For now, it's best to say that she changed.

Elyyyyyx... The same voice would ring in his head as he would then shake his head from side to side. The meadows he envisioned in his mind was nothing more than an illusion. He had been daydreaming. ELYX! Yup, that was not the same voice that he had heard in his mind. It was nothing new for him to be daydreaming, and even Ignite seemed to be catching onto the pattern. Reality told him that he was in town, and that he was beginning to drift away from reality once again. The struggle with the lacrima and the darkness of the magic taught to him was once again having an affect on his train of thought. Er... Sorry Ignite. The Sky Slayer would reply to her in such a pathetic tone, his light brown eyes no longer hollow as he would once again see the day of light. The She-Phoenix was not buying into any of his crap, placing her palms on her hips and shaking her head. And you call yourself a Guild Master, you can't even walk in a straight line! Nearly had to push a kid out of the way to get them to avoid hitting you. Ignite would explain. Despite the amount of knowledge she gained, it seems like ethics was not something that mattered too much. Sure, that would have prevented the child from hitting him. but the point was to make sure the child felt no embrace at all, and to push it would probably be worse than him giving a stomach to elbow nudge and that was it. However, she again was not buying into it, and he did not feel like starting an argument with her.

Sorry Ignite, I just had a few things on my mind lately. An apology that was not so much better than the first one, but it seemed like an explanation had been coughed out. With that, he'd look out to the outskirts of the town, the wind gently swaying against the calming meadows that he imagined back in his daydream. Not every memory was as beautiful as the reality, each blade of grass would reflect by the dew droplets that had been formed at the tips. Upon further inspection, none of the familiar ashes would come to view, so that made things a lot easier for him since he did not need to have the recurring dream he had. She had forgiven him, even if she was the one to tell him to run. Excuse me for the moment, I need to take a little time out. Here, go on a shopping spree. He would then place out a bag from a previous job, which offered 300,000 jewels. It was when he battled against the Storm King and ate the whole thing. It was a delicious meal for the Sky Deity Slayer, quite spicy since it had a lot of power, but that just made the battle a lot more exciting. He'd recommend magic air for dinner all over again if  he ever needed to. Sure, but you better not take long. That was not a promise that he could make. If anything, he would like to relax more with nature than the fast pace of the world that they were in. His Utopia would be an area where population was low, but the landform quantity was high.

So he would depart from the She-Phoenix, allowing her to shop for whatever she liked. It was a fair trade, provided that money lasted long enough to buy her a whole store, she was going to be fine with that amount. At the point in time, it was not even a huge price to pay either. Now that Golden Phoenix became a thing, the Magic Council invested in him. Ever since he took in the Fire and the Ice Dragons, he gained the favor of the king, which boosted the number of jewels that he got from the council by a huge amount. At this point in time, he was in the favor of the king of Fiore. Yet he was here, acting so normal and being so average. It was how he was raised, and he would prefer not to have all of the attention like many would like to assume those in his role would be. It was highly overrated. While he did perform, an audience was needed in order to have a concert.

With this, his boots would gently meet the soft dirt below the soles. The moisture below his feet would make a gentle squeak, there must have been a lot of rain recently. It was not too interrupting however, since it was so tiny. In fact, it blended well with the wind, which seemed t have the same pitch. If he had to guess, the wind that he felt now had a C natural pitch, but he could not classify the octave. A music nerd, but that was a lot of fun for him. A gentle sigh would emit from his lips as his light brown eyes would then gaze up towards the sky to see its splendor. Soaking in the bright sunlight, he would then place his palms behind the back of his head. It was a relaxing time for him, perhaps he really was going to break the promise that he had with Ignite. If anything, he'd probably be where he was for only 30 minutes. It should not be that big of a deal. With the money he provided, she could buy four months worth of rent in a good home provided she budgeted the money correctly. So she should be sending delivery lacrima to his house at this very moment. It did not matter though, the meadows outside of town was perfect for him...

Am I... Dead? A womanly voice would echo through the darkness as she tried to find her way around. A light would flicker out in the distance. There was nothing else, nor did she want to make any stupid assumptions. Perhaps he was there... If that were the case, it was just another trap set up for her. All of the cuts on her body, the bruises that she obtained... Despite being a spirit, she was vulnerable to pain thanks to the bastard that ruled over her life. The lady thought that it had been over. That might havebeen the last time she had ever seen her child again. The days pass by, that same light flickering day by day, but her trust would staple her to her position. The worry for her orphaned child had been so strong. Eventually, she felt the effects of isolation pass by, as her light brown eyes would begin to hollow. After being trapped for so long, the number of days have yet to be kept tracked. He's not there... A reassuring message that can't be proven by any means. Who knows... Maybe she was right. The desperate woman would see the light in a much more enticing way. What if it's all just in my head? A lie she told herself to feel better. He could be in danger right now! A possibility for sure, but he was most certainly able to handle himself. Maybe if I...

A gentle set of footsteps would begin to echo as she then finally forced herself to make the trip over to the light. It did not seem to be going any further from her. Instead, it would just seem to kind of dim. The closer she got, the faster the pace of her feet would move until she eventually got to the source. An eye. Another light brown one, and it would slowly begin to take form. The matter around it would outline into the shape of a human until eventually... It was there in front of her. The average humans body features, the male in this case. Some of the muscles on the chest tightened, the height would increase a little, and it would eventually begin to take form of a being as details had been added. Spiky brown hair, soft light brown eyes, yet a sharp chin and a subtle nose. His body was covered in a cloth that hugged tightly around his chest. There was a small smile on his face, one of the average Lerale. Elyx...? A small tear would shed as she saw her son in front of her.

    Nope...

All that Elyx would hear in the back of his mind was a small scream from a woman. It was a woman based on what he heard. The agony that she was feeling from the constant hits. The noise, he wanted it to stop. Yet it was refusing. Eventually, Stella would show concern as she tilted her head to the side. Even the spirit did not understand what was going on, meaning that whatever this was... It was trying to get into his head. He needed to ignore it as soon as possible. Stella! Effect control! A.S.A.P! the Reiaki would order. And right away, her palms had been placed out, placing a white outline around his body as he would no longer hear the tormented screams of the woman anymore. He had no idea what that was, but it was most certainly nothing that just strayed into his mind. With that, he would then relax once again, oblivious to what had been happening back to the one who had given him birth. She had grown far too desperate, and the images and warnings only were left ignored. At this rate, it would only seem like he was trying to get himself into trouble. And trouble was going to find him eventually... And it was going to cost heavily.

These were the weird thoughts that he had in his mind, and lately, he was unable to get around them. They were not so much a mental weakness for him. In all honesty, they could not bring him to insanity. What he had seen in the past were things that were far worse than just hearing the devastating tears of a human being. It was unfortunately that common for him to hear such a thing. He was more than prepare to take on the tormentors, and even while these thoughts were in his mind, he was always on top of his A game, making sure to not show even the slightest bit of weakness to anyone. This was his own battle to fight.

Post by Ardere Kasai 14th October 2016, 8:34 pm

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

There were no sounds. No voices. No foot steps. The only thing that stood in the center of the Infinity Hydra training hall, was its master; Ardere Kasai. The fire mage closed the guild early, to give the members a day off that they so deserved. Plenty were away on missions, there was no need to pester those that needed a break. This was especially important as their beach day had been ruined, but now they could enjoy some relaxation. As for the Fire King, he was at a loss for leisure. He barely slept, his appetite had been low, and his muse to read the same. The brown haired samurai found himself in the dojo more often than not, training. Even in his thirties, a master samurai, top ranked magician and wizard saint, he did not stop training. Ardere liked to keep pushing himself, working harder each day to attain one goal; be strong enough to protect those he loved from any threat. It was not about money, or fame, which he had no lack of, but rather it was what he called the will to protect.

Moving closer to the wooden post, with several other posts jutting from the center one, he readied a fighting stance. This was a training technique most often used in judo and disarming training, which he considered himself proficient in. The post had to be enchanted by a powerful mage just to withstand the fire mage's physical attacks. His physical strength was well beyond even the norm for his rank. One blow could shatter concrete with ease, and as such, his training equipment required an upgrade. Moving his arms in arching motions, he backhanded one of the posts, flames bursting from his fists. Utilizing his full speed, sweat rolled down his brow, sinking into his black tank top, and into his red and black pants. The sweat had even begun to pile up a bit in his headband, which preventing it from reaching his eyes. Repeatedly smacking and wrapping around the wooden post, he gave it all he had. The wood shifted, sliding back a bit, and he moved with it. Keeping his knees slightly bent, the martial artist exhaled deeply, putting all of his pain, all of his passion into each blow. It did not matter if he was training, or fighting a powerful enemy, he had to use his full strength. If he wanted to be strong enough to ensure his daughter lived a long life and his guild even longer, it was imperative he never held back in training. Ardere gritted his teeth slightly, drawing back his arm.

His mind flashed back to his time alone, during the several months he stayed away from the guild, to work on himself. The guild master did not often leave his guild, but to lose the thoughts of his time as a child, he was forced to go on a journey. It had been some time now since he returned, but his thoughts and dreams were plagued with what he had experienced in the void of time and space. Fortunately, his thoughts of his childhood in Midi did not bother him any more, he had moved past it. But falling through the darkness, drifting along like that, it was not something he could forget. The fire mage used this inquiry, this muse in his punch. His fist sparked aflame, and collided with the wood, shattering it. Splinters of wood soared across the training room, several of them flying through his flame body and incinerating. Sighing deeply, he leaned against one of the nearby pillars. Sliding down it, out of breath, a trail of sweat was left down the pillar as he sunk to the ground. Chuckling a bit, he reached for his bottle of water, gulping it down quickly, and pouring some across his forehead. Exhaling harshly, Ardere looked up and closed his eyes. What was he doing here? Why did he stand here punching at wood when he could be out there, helping people? Perhaps it was the strain of his job. One required a break every once and a while, which he had to admit was useful, but every day he still felt like he had more to give. The samurai felt like he had to give every fiber of his being to this world until it drained him completely. But he could not allow this just yet, there was much more fighting to be done, much left to protect.

A volcanic region painted out on the scene, as several explosions of fire towering high into the sky as tall as what seemed to be sky scrapers was shown; and not from the volcanoes doting the landscape endlessly in every direction. Slowly the scene would dip down onto the ground, and whirl around a seemingly empty area. Until-----

Hera would flash onto the scene, bending her knees as if she had been moving, blonde hair in motion. She would then flash again out of the way in a trail of flames from her feet.

'KABOOOOOM!' a huge green fist struck the ground as the camera would pan behind Hera who was running literally with flames from her feet, as a huge crowd of chimera came running out from the smoke behind her. This was Sin, a land that not many could survive in. Hera would then stop and plant her foot as the camera panned up to her putting one hand into her fist and grinning.

"Yosh!!! I'm all fired up now!" she would say as one of her eyes leaked Red Dragon Slayer energy.

The first creature to reach her was some giant snake looking monster that lunged out forward. Leaping up onto it's head, Hera impressively maintained balance on the thing as she literally surfed around on a giant snakes head for a few seconds. With a single flip as it bit upward at her, it's jaws met nothing but air as she spiraled; flames lightning on her entire arm as the creature's panicked expression met a flaming fist from above. Instantly, it was ashes; as Hera's spun to face two gigantic ogres running at her with their weapons held high.

A two flaming kicks literally parried an axe the size of a car and then a claymore the size of one within two milliseconds as Hera disarmed two Orge's behind her. With a backflip in slow-mo, her foot still smoking from flames, Hera would kick the claymore right through the mouth of one of the Orge as it impaled him backward, he fell onto his own blade thorugh the back of his head. Landing at a cartwheel, Hera would then take a right hand right to the face from the second Ogre and go flipping backward.

As she did though she managed to clip the Orge around his wrist with her feet, locking onto him with H-Ranked force, she flipped him behind her just as she flew into a waterfall of Lava. His screams were all that was heard as Hera launched herself off of him back into the crowd of monsters waiting.

"Heeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" her roars were heard for miles as she approached them, the camera would zoom up and turn all white into one of her eyes.

    ----------------------------------

    (The Past)

"OTO-SAN!!!" Hera as a child was shown being held by Shuhei, but fighting in his grasp as Alyia stood behind them.

The next scene was Heero and Acnologia's heads clashing. As Heero's blue hair and Acnologia's silver hair met, the two gritted at one another as blood leaked from both of their skulls. Both of them began to power up as Acnologia's energies mixed with Heero's and the ground began to quake. Both of them leaned their heads against one another just as the skies darkened. The combat that ensued could only be described as Titanic, as Heero and Acnologia disappeared and reappeared all over Magnolia, as buildings literally vaporized around them each time their fists met or one landed a blow on one another.

Alarms rang as the town itself began to be evacuated. Here and there, Heero's purple scarf or Acnologia's black cloak could be seen tangling with one another as Heero appeared in loud voltage bursts randomly, Acnologia appearing out of trails of blue light. The camera surfed then, over the ocean as a golden lightning bolt and a blue trail of light literally clapped and helixed around one another, striking again and again at one another as Magnolia panned in the background---Heero and Acnologia appeared running on the ocean behind the city itself as their eyes locked onto one another running side by side.

Kicking into high speed again, Heero became a bolt of golden lightning as Acnologia followed him as a trail of death magic. They would helix upward spinning into the sky like a launched firework as more clashes ensued. The people of Magnolia went screaming into the hills as in the background behind Fairy Tail a huge stream of lightning and blue energy rose into the sky like a vine.

At the apex, Heero and Acnologia leaped out of a bolt of lightning and a blue beam respectively; just as Acnologia threw a fist at Heero; he weaved it, causing a sonic boom behind him from so much force. Heero then ignited into a trail of lightning and began to hammer Acnologia down into the ground with more blows than one could track. Like a falling comet the sound of Heero hitting him went off like a drumroll of thunder as he threw fist after fist onto him, eventually going into a sideways spin that was actually a thousand Talon kick; cartwheeling his foot into Acnologia's skull repeatedly, eventually they hit the ground as Acnologia planted into a huge crater, struggling to stand in his human form.

Heero would hit the ground as a huge train sized bolt of lightning, that dispersed over Acnologia as Heero stood over him, eyes glowing red. Stomping on his chest, Heero would pull on one arm so fiercely that Acnologia let out an actual "NO!". The arm of Acnologia came off as Heero ripped it literally from it's limb as blood sprayed everywhere.

Heero would then mount Acnologia, sitting on him and hammering him with haymaker punches as a huge crater begun to expand, more and more. Like the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke, Heero just mounted him and hammered his face into almost nothingness as the crater got bigger and bigger with each strike. Acnologia had only one arm, and now everything was caving in around him. This human....was going to defeat him? No. He was the black dragon. Just as he thought this, everything would go black as Heero delivered a blow that shattered Acnologia's spine. His head would roll back, and his long silver spikey hair fell to the side. Raising one fist, and panting heavily, Heero realized...it was over.

Crawling out of the hole, Heero spat up blood onto the ground as he crawled toward Shuhei holding Hera. Biting Shuhei on the hand, Hera would scramble from his grasp as Alyia called after her. Running with tears in her eyes towards Heero crawling, she reached her father just as he collapsed. Cradling him into her arms, Heero looked up at her with a moment of recognition and then a smile.

"Hey there princess.......Daddy didn't knock a house into you did he?" he said as one eye was completely black, his lip busted and leaking blood. One good eye settled on Hera though as his mouth curved into a smile, his purple scarf laying over her small frame. She shook her head franticly, touching the side of his ear as it bled and bled, screaming and crying. "Hey, it's OK. It's over." he said as he grinned a bit, his blue hair blowing in the debris of the cataclysmic battle. The Fairy Bell hung crooked from Fairy Tail, having been knocked off the hinges during a pass by the two godlike combatants.

"Is that what you think mortal." a voice came, that was more like a growl. Like it wasn't used to speaking as a human anymore. The camera would only show Heero's eyes widening, as Shuhei and Alyia were both shown with surprised expressions on their face.

Debris would clear from the crater as Acnologia was shown limping, barely, up out of it. Missing one arm, and holding onto a stub of a shoulder; blood shown dramatically dripping as he rose fully back onto the street of Magnolia. His skull literally was partially hammered in, as he grabbed his neck; and popped it back into place like a zombie.

Heero gritted his teeth as he was too drained of Magic Power to move, his fanged Slayer teeth shown up close as his fist balled up.

"I am....not mortal. I am...a God. I have killed Gods....destruction. Anything I want. Anything I want. Power. Power. I cannot be defeated. I cannot lose. I am death. I am death." Acnologia went into some insane rant, as he limped towards Heero; blood dripping in a trail.

"Hera....run now." Heero said as he looked up at her, she would shake her head. "HERA GET OFF OF DADDY, RUN TO MOMMY AND UNCLE SHUHEI NOW!!! THIS MAN IS NOT GOOD, HE'S BAD!" Heero said as Hera snapped out of it, backing away. Heero then sat up on to his behind, and spat onto the ground.

A slow-mo of Acnologia in human form passing Hera as she cried was shown, his black cloak swooping past as the one armed visage was forever imprinted in her mind. As Acnologia walked, his shadow grew...shown on a partially destroyed building as he became. Large enough to be seen outside of the city. In a huge stretch of magic power, he became the fable. The Black Dragon itself. As his blue neon lining on his scales pulsed once, he expanded his wings. Sending a few buildings tumbling into the air; crashing somewhere off in the distance.

One stomp after another, he would move toward Heero who continued to crawl backward in an attempt to waste time and gain energy back. The earth shook for miles as eventually Acnologia stood above Heero.

"Not since Zeref have I faced someone so powerful.....human. I know you are like me, take on your true form. Let yourself become the Dragon...only then can you save yourself, your soul. Your families souls." Acnologia would bare his fangs as Heero stood to his feet. Although he only had one wing at the moment, one could see the other wing beginning to stitch itself back together with blue energies.

"My family?" as if something snapped, he looked almost crazed.

"Unlike you...I don't rely on the power of the Dragon to bail me out when I've lost." he taunted, as he began to shake. Lightning bolts smacked the ground all around him. "The power of the Dragon relies on me." Heero would then cross his arms in an "X" in front of him as he then opened them as his Magic Power skyrocketed. His eyes turning pure red, as he levitated off the ground; blue lightning and yellow lightning whirling about him and leaping off, smacking glass, windows, and anything else apart from him. Heero knew that if he used his Dragon Form now, with this much blood split, and rage flowing that he would never be himself again. His Dragonification would be complete. He wouldn't let that happen. "I'm sure you've never faced anything like this....Dragon Force."

In the blink of an eye, a train sized bolt of Lightning carried the Black Dragon off into the distance, as in the background a chunk of the Moon itself blowing off was shown as Heero struck the Black Dragon itself into Earthland's single moon within the blink of an eye.

"Hera, Dad's got this. We're going now." Shuhei's hand hit Hera's shoulder as they vanished in a stream of light away from Magnolia. "Don't worry, Uncle Shuhei's coming back to finish this." Shuhei said as they vanished into light, he'd already resolved to go all the way as Heero couldn't bring himself too, to become the Dragon and face Acnologia. When he returned...if Heero hadn't already won. Lord help them all.

    --------------------------------------------

    (The Present)

Hera stood amidst a crowd of downed demons of all shapes and sizes, her clothes shredded into almost nothingness. As her rack literally was held up by the edges of her clothing, and one of her thighs was completely visible through the shredded black and gold Slayer uniform she usually wore.

One of her eyes, still glowing red, ceased. As...silence overtook everything. Nothing but the sound of lava bubbling.

"Hmph.........where are you." Hera continued to wander the land of Sin as lava seemed to literally move out of her way as she walked, large streams of lava whipping around her as they erupted from the ground as it seemed the Dragon of Fire had nothing to fear in a land such as this. Sweat dripped off of her womanly frame, exposed and barely covered after slaughtering thousands of demons. "Ka-san." the word for Mother in Midi / Japaneese. She referred not to Alyia, her birth mother. But to the woman who raised her after the age of 7. Her Guild, it was somewhere here. She had a Pact with Eris unlike most. One that she hoped one day would allow her to surpass Eris and her Father both. After all, the greatest threat too her rise to power couldn't even harm her. Eris herself. Due to her father's wisdom, she was in the clear. And if she ever did try to harm her? To say the least the Pact would be broken. Then it would be all out war between Hera and her Godmother. As Eris taught Hera to eliminate one's greatest threats first. She prayed that day never came, since she loved Eris with a burning passion. She just knew the day might come when they did not see eye to eye as usual, but with how well they got along; she doubted it would happen. If anything they could assist one another with their respective end games. She did however, need to speak with her adopted Mother about a sensitive matter if she could find her anywhere in this hellish landscape.

Post by Eris 20th October 2016, 10:25 pm

(I've had the first half of this post written for ages now (Over 24+ hours, maybe even two days...) but I've been hung up on the second half for a while,  trying to find inspiration for how and why Eris approaches each of you and how to handle it in post...)

    Spoiler:

    Eris

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) 9V2Molp

Body breaking down elegantly into a billowing black cloud of smoke Eris flowed backwards out of the room with the two young girls, a wish granted,  her ethereal form flowed through minuscule cracks in the air to disappear,  flowing through to her destination far above...  Where Eris stood upon the surface of a shimmering black mirror that spread out towards her every horizon where great glowing bands of infernal power formed powerful rays that formed each line of a great pentagram that slowly rotated across her artificial sky.    The flat expanse was polished black onyx covered in a layer of blood that flowed and circulated across its surface,  faintly reflecting the light of the great pentagrams on each horizon.   In the center of the great mirror was a much more manageable pentagram that remained the same size to one's perception wherever they stood on the plane,  but when it was right before her she reached out a hand and the pentagram flickered to life and slid to fit over her palm.  With a flourish she cast her hand out and the palmtop pentagram scattered,  expanding to imprint itself into the mirror's surface.

The corpses of twelve humans were twisted and withered,  like morbid statues that formed a ring around where the pentagram was anchored in the heart of the mirror.   From within the circle they formed a pedestal rose out of bone,  stairs forming from unfolding hands that lead up to a throne topped by a three skulls,  one pouring blood from its eyes while the other two held their jaws open in silent screams with blood welling up out of their mouths,  the blood spilling down the sides of the throne or flowing down along channels just under the skeletal design of the throne itself,  running down under the arm rests to flow down either side of the stairs.     In the "Sky" above the mirror plane was Earthland itself.   Slowly rotating at a similar pace to the pentagrams that turned on her horizons like windmills.    The planet above slowly spinning as each of the two traveled around each other.

Eris had taken the concept she had discovered days earlier to heart,  back when she had retreated into the outer atmosphere and created her own meditation bubble by gathering atmosphere through portals to form her own personal temporary sanctuary.   The idea head proven fruitful and beneficial to her,  so she had established a more permanent residence.   From her skyward throne Eris could observe the motions of the countless lives on the surface below,  each appearing to be "above" the other.   It served as a focus and a sense of establishment, of power.   She could see the lights flicker across the landscape showing the paths of civilization,  but she could also see concentrations of magic.  When she first took to orbit she saw the clashing of two auras taking place in Crocus's arena in Fiore and had paid them a visit due to the invitation they had given her, whether they knew it or not that they had been invoking her name as they spoke the name of that man, Deniel.

She stepped into her sanctuary now on occasion to put a pause on her affairs and bring the world into focus before turning to the next endeavor.  She had just accepted that child's wish, Eris's eyes flickered with flames within as she looked to the spot where the girl would be,  which had told her where the dragon king himself was.  Pact magic filled her at the moment,  giving her the means to find the dragon.   Her eyes traced across every detail of the planet above, or below,  her and they came to a rest off the coast of Fiore following faint red tendrils of pact magic that guided her perception,  whispering direction to her until she found this spot.   If it was so easy to just find a magical aura then the dragon would have been found ages ago and hunted ruthlessly.   But power was not helpless,  the dragon had masked itself as Eris was fond of doing herself.  There were no signs present to her that the dragon was there,  but it was where the pact magic was guiding her.

Focusing,  Eris stiffened up right,  her chest lurching forward a motion,  her fingers curling around the skull-like design of her arm rest,  one finger jabbing into its eyesocket,  as she cast her mind's eye down towards the surface.    More correctly, she locked on to the nearest connection she had,  a cultist in a hut near cliffs against the sea beyond.   From there her gaze roved across the sea following red bands of guiding energy that shot across the sky like a map was overhead and highlighting her path for her.

Like a giant bubble of information Eris's gaze skimmed across the ocean into the Graveyard Sea following the trail laid out for her.   She could see the dips and trenches under the waves below,  the creatures hidden to lesser sight in the depths.    There began to be increasingly more wreckage as she roved onwards,  the abandoned remains of ships and crew that had fallen prey to the forces at work in the area.   She passed by them all,  hidden dangers.  Creatures that crawled across the depths preying on one another,  sea monsters and leviathans fighting for territory and what treasures remain from their victims.   Natural phenomenon itself turning against what ships may have attempted to sail these waters.   She could see currents that flowed and coiled like snakes,  unpredictable and random.  Whole chunks of the sea where Eris could tell the water there was replaced with something... else.  Like a mimic lying in wait for a ship to sail over it only to find the sea there unfit to support the weight of a ship.     Vents on the sea floor spilling up toxic bubbles that burst when they arrived at the surface to poison sailors to a slow death and hallucinations.

The graveyard sea was deserving of its name,  as above all the natural or tangible threats there resided a heavy supernatural danger in the form of many spirit beings that haunted the waters,  dead sailors and monsters alike.  Wraiths, specters,  revenant spirits alike.  The Dragon King was intelligent,  Eris knew,  despite his savagery.   What did a being like Acnologia seek to gain by roaming these waters, Eris wondered.  Surely it wasn't deliberately "hiding",  Acnologia did not seem like the type to display weakness.  By the same token it didn't seem like the type to care what people thought of it.

Continuing to follow the coursing red bands of energy above,  Eris's sphere of perception pushed past what appeared to be the skeletal remains of a massive serpent that must have been a dozen miles long with a head big enough to house a guild inside its skull and beyond it the red light started to bend down out of the sky to pulse into a spot ahead,  an island it appeared,  but it was floating.  Hundreds of anchors sunken into the sea floor below it,  dozens more hanging not quite reaching.  Some sunken ships seemed entangled in the chains below the waves,  while hundreds,  if not thousands,  of ships in various states of disrepair formed a linked mass as large as a mountain,  with the hulls of ships embedded into the mass that piled high.    There was an archway that formed a sea path allowing one to sail into a cove inside of it where giant ships stacked in groups of four or five and on top of one another formed a giant column in the center surrounded by docks,  while more archways linked to other similar chambers.

Littering the thousands of ruined ships were the corpses of hundreds of thousands of corpses in varying states of decay adorned with rings,  false eyes,  tattered remains of leather coats, bandanas,  sack cloth pants,  hooks,  peg legs,  eye patches,   the remains of parrots and monkeys.   It was a graveyard alright,  a pirate graveyard.   Sailors and marines from the various nations on the nearby continent's nations.   Throughout it all however,  Eris could not detect a single soul.   What she did see however,  was that hundreds of the corpses decorating the ship-island were fresh.   As though someone had recently came through and cleaned house.    Someone had taken over.

The red light that had guided Eris pulsed again,  a ray of energy pushing through the entryway and guiding her through the entry way on the opposite end,  closer towards the center of the island.   She could start to see it now as it came into range,   a massive cavern beneath the waves,  blow sea level protected by the wreckages of so many ships was a giant treasury,  the hoards of thousands or more pirate crews.  And atop of it all was a dragon who was sleeping in content,  heavy scales rising and falling as in its dreams the dragon's claw flexed,  digging into the pile of treasures and gems,  crowns,  swords,  portraits, statues, and countless coins.    Chests studded the hoard,  many broken open spilling jewelry and small fortunes on their own,  there even seemed to be a full set of luxurious furnishings including a large bed with thin velvet veils surrounding it set up atop more treasures to one side of the giant artificial cavern.   Eris wondered if the dragon king even cared about treasure,  but it was likely that it was simply an act of dominance,  asserting himself as superior to the pirates he had slain and now claimed his trophy.

Six women seemed to be alive in this chamber with him,  hanging from shackles on the walls,  but they were not alone,  twenty men were nearby as well,  each still dressed with the raiments benefiting pirate captains.    Acnologia hadn't slain everyone after all,  but had chosen to keep the captains as pets, decoration adorning the walls of this ramshackle vault.  It was almost surprising to Eris to see that the dragon king held human desires,  seeing the shackled women,  but she had heard of mages who claimed to be children of the dragon.  Perhaps their claims were valid,  something to look into if she grew bored in the future.

As she considered stepping through the veil and appearing in person and get things started,  the dragon shifted and rose,  one large claw folding over the other as it lifted its head and searched the room,  its eyes stopping at the prisoners it kept.   Its brow furrowed, a twitch of confusion as it moved its gaze back along the giant room.

"I feel your presence.  It surrounds me,  it taints the air,  in every surface and in every crack.   Who are you..." The dragon's voice was a growl as it picked up the impression of Eris's presence against the reality around him.  It was impressive that it was able to detect Eris even slightly,  to do so was a testament to its ability that could not be matched by anyone else.  Even some beings on the same level as this dragon,  but its senses were sharp and the magic that flowed through it was thick and as deep as the ocean that surrounded them.

"I am death."  Eris growled back reflexively,  her voice reverberating off the walls of his treasury,  vibrating the sea of coins, rattling treasures.  Her statement seemed to strike a cord with the dragon,  who rose onto its hid legs,  hunched against the ceiling as it clawed into the hoard of gold and kicked up a shower of treasures that embedded themselves into the wooden walls on the far side,  eyes locked in an angry scowl.   The resurrected dragon stilled after its singular outburst, tense,  Eris could tell that it was reaching out with its senses to find her,  to try to see where the intruder was coming from,  some asshole mage in another room thinking to taunt him.

Even if it could sense Eris now,  there was nothing for him to single out.  No astral projection, no spirit form,  only the roaming presence that had encompassed his domain,  like a great eye from the sky that saw all within the sphere of its influence.  When it could not find anything more,  the dragon let out a long growl that built up into a roar.   "Come for me then, death,  see if you can claim me once more"  It said,  clawing across the row of chained captains on the nearby wall,  cleaving over half of them before the dragon clawed himself into the sea of treasures,  hunching down in defiance and challenge,  waiting for a sign,  waiting for weakness.   Ready for a fight.

Perhaps provoking the beast wasn't the greatest of ideas,  But Eris didn't fear,  the reaction sparked amusement in her.    Far far above the sea Eris smiled on her throne above the world,  a smug grin curled at her lip as she tilted her head to rest her chin on a knuckle of her right hand,  her vision fading from the dragon's graveyard palace of pirate legend and back to her sanctuary above it all,  the reflection of the planet shining in her eyes backed by a flicker of flame.

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Dfv210

There was a slight dilemma Eris faced as she looked down upon the earth.  Or up,  it was all a matter of perspective.  Perspective that posed an interesting question to Eris.  She could kill the dragon personally,  to do so would not take a considerable amount of effort on her part and it certainly didn't pose any true risk to the goddess,  but even so Eris was never truly alone,  and had yet to show Earthland more than a fraction of her might.  Even supposing the beast would pose a challenge to her,  there were the countless other tricks up Eris's sleeve,  not the least of which was the legions of damned at her command including some beings that were cataclysmic in their own right.

But, to what end?  Slaying the dragon in private would be a wasted opportunity.  Slaying it publicly?  That would certainly be a demonstration of her power,  and while she would revel in the confusion it would bring for Earthland's most wanted to slay one of their most fearsome nightmares and living disasters,  it wasn't enough.   There was the alternative however,  she could extend an invitation to some of the finest mages of Fiore,  the nation most hurt by the presence of Acnologia and slay the dragon in a party.  To do so would lend some credibility to an alter ego,  perhaps Denielle.  Red could use the popularity and connections that would come with associating with them.   There were two Gods of Ishval at present,  the two she had toyed with not too long ago.  It was an amusing thought,  to let them fight by her side unaware of the threat at their backs,  that they were with one of the most dangerous "mages" so soon after having raised their blades at her.

She could think of another who would benefit from the endeavor,  Hera.  Her daughter,  she supposed,  who had been a side project for 13 years raised beyond the veil of dimensions and time,  not impacting her work here.  Much of the time was handled by splits of her consciousness,  duplicates of herself almost as real as her core identity,  made easy with the far reaching influence she possessed.

The pact she bore prevented her from acting out against Eris,  and while more than unlikely to be broken would erase memories of the years spent with her ripping from her the experiences shared and the lessons taught.  A basic standard of Eris's pacts that provided any sort of closeness with Eris.  She had kept her safe since she could barley walk without stumbling,  taught her how to deal with life and how achieve.  How to defend herself against threats.  Nothing that was a threat to Eris of course,  not that she'd remember them if she broke the pact and turned on her godmother.  But enough.  In return, she was hers.   Not as far as her soul however,  which angered Eris.  She loathed to put any effort into an individual without the assurance of their soul,  their afterlife in her hands.  The blue haired mage had made his own pact and paid the price for his daughter in her stead,  but then went off and became a damn crystal,  not dead but not alive either.

And it was this dragon that lead to this unfortunate situation where Eris was left without either soul,  neither father nor child.  Eris closed her eyes as black smoke steamed off from her shoulders as she shook off a momentary rage that seethed beneath her surface.  The more she considered it, the more she looked forward to bringing Acnologia beneath her heel.   But until then,  Hera had lost her father to the dragon,  and if Eris was going to kill it it would only be motherly of her to bring her goddaughter along to give her a ripe opportunity to vent out some classic vengeance.

With that pact of hers,  she wouldn't be able to betray Eris's identity to the other two mages even if she wanted to,  which the pact should help in making sure she didn't in fact wish to in the first place.   She could hide her identity from the girl all together,  but it benefited her less to approach as a stranger than it would be to approach her as her godmother,  to add yet another memory adding another chain to the link that bonded them together. The more connections she had to her the more of a hold she grew,  further loyalties instilled.   Eris had spent 13 years molding the girl to trust her,  to lend her respect and loyalty,  love.   While some sliver of her own self may have wanted to return some of those affections,  the cold heart of a millenniums old devil took precedence.  All the more reason for Eris to make sure she was never put in a position where she would have to burn what little feelings that fragment of her once-human soul may possess and put an end to a threat to herself or her goals.

Besides,  Eris could see even now as her goddaughter sought her out.  The monsters of Sin within the heart of the nation were Eris's own,  but there were still countless other threats in the land itself and in the wildlands beyond Eris's direct domain.  Hera had been wandering through the wildlands and was attempting to brute-force her way through Sin.   An escapade that had resulted in a number of injuries and shredded attire.   Why she had thought to wander through Sin with her heart set on finding her was less obvious.

Only her Grims knew the location of the Temple of the Undying,  but even then the members of her organization never bothered actually traveling there.  There were doors everywhere known only to the Grims,  leading one across space to walk the halls of the Temple wherever they may have been.  Even then,  her Grims held a connection to her personally,  each one capable of requesting a Rift when time was short or in emergencies.

Hera herself held such a connection,  Grim or not it was by nature of the pact she bore itself that tied her to her godmother.   She was always a whisper away,  whether she wanted her or not.  A shard of Eris's mind was always with her,  watching over her,  much like a subconscious process.  Some part of Eris was always aware of her situation,  and all she had to do was talk to Eris to bring attention to her,  to ask for her presence.  Whether it's a cry for help or attention,  or just to talk, even if Eris did not reply she was always listening to what she had to say ever since she was little.

At the moment however,  her goddaughter seemed distraught.  A red glow pulsed with a slow wave as Eris pulled on the connection between them along with her own insight into the emotional workings of humans and demon alike.  It brought into focus the desires she held and an understanding of the sort of thoughts that stirred in her heart.

It seems her time on Earthland so far had been provoking memories for the girl,  of her father.  The timing could not be more fortunate,  Eris smirked.  The pact magic at work that linked them must have been guiding Eris herself,  it worked in mysterious ways.  It may have even guided that girl in the orphanage to make the wish that she did, putting things into motion and instilling in Eris the instincts to act on it.  Eris was no stranger to these motherly instincts of sorts,  subtle manipulations of the Pact that quietly pushed Eris in certain ways to better take care of the girl who had been placed in her care.

It was no coincidence that Hera had been having these thoughts and memories of  the dragon and her father and Eris's own actions in seeking it out.

Naturally, no living soul could gaze upon the Temple of the Undying.  Eris would not guide her there.   She was able to survive the heat of the lava,  but the toxic fumes would already be weakening the girl despite the enhanced physiology she possessed and the raw strength she held.  Endurance could only take anyone so far,  particularly the living.  She would only grow weaker the closer she got to the location of Eris's temple,  only to be met with disappointment as she would walk right by the Temple grounds unaware of the veil that separated the stronghold from the mortal realm,  holding it out of reach.

But Eris could do something else.

Like a mirage on the distance through the hazy vapors of the toxic heat of the burning wasteland a hill would slowly come into focus,  confusing the mind.  Had it always been there?  The rocky stone hill was large,  a small mountain of sorts,  and split in two,  a large gap forming a jagged passage.  On the hillside behind a river of lava flowing between the halves with small flows of lava spilling down from atop the cliff faces was what appeared to be iron fences and barred windows that glowed with interior lighting,  a mismatched misshapen hut of some sort was carved into the hillside itself.  A shadow moved across one of the windows,  life.  Someone was home,  here in these wastelands of fire with no life in sight, someone had made a home here.

(Sooo, yeah.   Gonna have to approach each of you one at a time.  Just doesn't make sense to pick all three of you up at once,  and then I also have to leave room for people to respond.  Can't just kidnap each of you and move on to the next lol.  No rush though I suppose.  Sorry to take so long,  took me a while to decide on what to do.)

    I Won By Accident?
Watch What Happens When I Do It on Purpose!

    "Stella...? Quatro...? ...Where are you...?"

That is something we will never give you! Let us go, you creep! Having the mentality of a somewhat matured child, there was not really much she could use as an insult. Her power usually made up for the words, but this being had far too much power over her. And it was bad enough that she gave Elyx the effect control, meaning that she could not use that on herself and Quatro. On the other hand, she was able to use the excitement in her to steal the speed of the opponent in front of them, so no matter how fast he was, she was still much faster. Quatro can freeze him in place using his eyes... If the being had eyes. The black cloak was covering it's eyes, making it impossible to see the face. It had the structure of a human, but it was much more divine that that for sure. Stella was bold to make such a claim and a demand like that, but the being would not even bother continuing with the topic. It's body would begin to dissolve with the darkness as it would disappear from the eyesight of the two beings. Quatro would try to activate his eyes to freeze the being, but it would not make the eye contact needed to cause it in the Perfect Paralysis. So they both were left alone in the darkness. While Stella had her light to give them a bit of sight, they were alone in the dead silence. It was a maddening scene, one could go inside in this area for lso long. But yet at the same time... The spirits somewhat knew how this was like. They kind of felt some nostalgia from this, yet neither of them could put their finger on it. Being trapped like this, was this the first time this ever happened? They had no idea... But they needed to do some sort of research... Something around here. There was no way that everything was completely erased. There needed to be some sort of being that could help them, and if they were to just stand around, they would rot away insane. We can't sit around here! Come on Quatro, we can't let ourselves surrounder our minds to this place. If we just continue to walk around, we might be able to get out of here! That was a lot of hope, but it was enough to convince herself and the shadow being. So they would make their way the best they could through the darkness, the gentle steps of Stella's feet and the hovering of Quatro's body.

Yet, there was still a lot more to be told... Death was still there. A being that was waiting for them, ready to set them up for the same trap that had been set for Kia. The both of them were going to get what they wanted, but not in the way that they had hoped. The same trick had been put up once again. It was the same light, the same being that the other lady had seen. There was a light, and it was not being emitted from Stella's holy light body. Look Quatro! We found something! Come on! The excited young spirit would exclaim, trying to push forward. However, a small black palm would be placed on her shoulder. Looking over that shoulder, she would see that it was Quatro. He stopped her from entering the light... His eyes would squint as he looked over to see what it was. The telepathy that he had would trigger, sending light towads that direction as well as sound. He ended up getting a response as well... ... Those three dots would end up going back. It was the same aura that the enemy that had brought them there emitted. And it seemed to want to lure the both of them back towards it. Gripping the hand of the young Stella, he would immediately turn the opposite direction. There was something way too odd about that being, and it was suddenly trying to guide them towards it after it just disappeared? What more? It tred to show itself off as if it were a being of light? Those pieces just did not add up, and he was not going to stick around to see what they did. In doing this, they would end up getting further from the light until Stella suddenly tripped over something. Her available arm would flail before hitting the ground.

Owwww... The young spirit would moan in pain before looking down onto what she had tripped upon... It was a body. The being looked a lot like her, but in a human form as well. The lady had light brown hair that went down to her waist. Her eyes were light blue, they they were turning grey. There was death on her being, that's why her eyes were turning grey. All of the red liquid was blood, no more coming out from her body though. Because of this, it was assumed that this happened pretty recently, possibly hours ago if they had to guess. Her lips were opened as the side of her mouth would have that same red liquid around it. Seems like she had been slaughtered, and that liquid was beginning to paint the ground. Quatro did not want to hang around much longer, but Stella held her ground as she proceeded to move over towards the limp body on the ground. despite how bloody it was, despite how terrible a state that the lady looked to be in, she was still intrigued by how similar they looked. It was like a Before and After poster of the both of them, though their clothes were conflicting. Stella was in an old-fashioned dress, this person looked like she was a scientist. Other than that though, they had the same body features... Stella was curious about the being. Seems like neither of you want to take the bait. Smarter than this lady here, for that, I can commend the both of you. Nicer words from the being, and so it was confirmed that the being that had them trapped in this world would admit that this was all his doing. He was willing to kill and brush it off so easily, since this was a recent murder that had been carried out. Stella would clench her teeth, cringing hard as if she were suffering through the pain. For some reason, the state that the woman was in harmed her. It made her want to grip their oppressor by the throat and rip it out, holding it in front of their eyes as they would lose any oxygen. She knew that would not be the case, and that no such power existed for her while they were all trapped in this land. It just seemed like the woman was another victim, and who could blame her or taking the light. There was no one to help her, since she seemed along. Yet here Stella was... And she had Quatro...

What do you REALLY want!? What do you plan to do to us!? The first question was addressing the fact that the both of them were going to have their lives taken away. And an attempt had been made, but it failed. If the being truly controlled all of the world that they were inside, then they were able to kill the both of them instantly without these stupid scenes. Yet the being that held them in did not bother with ending their suffering. Stella was calling a bluff now, she wanted answers. Would you like to see her living? The being would ask in a neutral tone. Not a small drop of sympathy had been shown. What did this being see...? What could drive someone or something mad to the point in which the death of someone did not have the slightest effect on them. Then again, Quatro did not seem to mind the death either. In fact, he seemed to want to get away. He was formed from darkness, perhaps darkness just did not prefer to care for the lives of others. That was something she was not willing to accept. Even something as cruel and cold as darkness could be good if it tried. That was something the young and naive spirit believed... Seeing the good in everyone and everything. If only she knew what the real world was like. Sometimes, that was just all they knew. Not everyone started off with the same chance, as much as she would like to think. Not everyone was equal, everyone starts off with what their parents left them. It was unfair, but that was not what the world cared for. It was power, and the more power that one being had, the less likely they were to die. Hence why Fiore was labelled by ranking, which would measure that power.

And what if I do!? Seems like she took the different bait. And the being would let out a little bit more energy than usual. One that would force them to fall a little closer to the ground. Her body would tighten up a little bit as she found herself on all fours, trying to keep her balance and from falling. The gravity had been increased an insane amount, and there was no way she could fight it. Quatro would not be pushed down, seems he had enough strength to resist. Moving however was something different, and he was unable to move his body. The body of the bloody lady would rise up on its own, or seemingly, before then opening her scared eyes. Her mouth would be used as the tank used to quickly emit and inhale the air. However, not as much as a peep would be let out from her lips. The poor thing looked so scared, so damaged... Stella wanted to heal her so badly, put her mental state back to normal. Only Elyx could do that now, that was the gift that she had given. Perhaps he did not need it, but there was no way she could control time... So she had to deal with this. Hopefully this would all be over quickly... It would have been much better if she were still dead, rather than suffering and continuing of from her state before death. Then you have a chance to do just that. The being would respond. Now Stella was listening, but Quatro himself... He was reluctant. There had to be some sort of trick... What if I told you that you all have a chance to see Elyx again...?

The lady had been given the ability to speak again. Why did you bring my creations here!? Let them go! She would exclaim. The plea fell on deaf ears. The both of them, Stella nd Quatro, would look over to her. Creations? They were made by her? That was an interesting bit of information, but nothing they could quite address at the moment. They needed to focus on what was now, and hopefully the lady had enough common sense to follow that advice. Then again, she looked so damaged... What she had gone through, they would not be surprised if she had been completely broken through. That would bring a lot of risk, but they needed to prepare for the worst. After all, the being was holding all of the cards, and to rebel was the last thing that they wanted to do. So Stella would answer the being the way he wanted to hear an answer. Yes, we would all like to see Elyx again. Care to explain to us what this is all about? She felt a pair of eyes locked onto her, but she did not feel the slightest bit nervous. The stare itself did not seem to put her down. It was either she was much stronger than it, or perhaps it was not meant to do anything to her. Looking back at them the best she could, she would listen to the response. The being would ignore the lady's reply, but not completely put her down again. Then I propose that we settle this the way humans do it. I feel that would be the appropriate award since a human is the reward for this. So we are all going to play a game... The winner takes it all. Loser or losers... Well...

Elyx had his dream in dreamland thanks to Vivid dreaming. The spirit beasts were all gentle and sweet as usual. One of his favorite he named "Baaaaa", a dream sheep. Also so soft and fluffy, so sweet and made of candy was well. Cotton candy to be exactly. However, he did make the mistake of taking a bite out of it, causing it to squeal in pain as he was forced to let go of the bite. It was an accident, and he thought it was about as soft as wool and harmless as well. But it was not like wool it seemed, but a part of the actual body. It was fine however, the rest of the world seemed just as tasty to eat anyways. There was a lot of air for a Sky Slayer to eat for sure, but he felt like having something else to eat as well. However, one thing he found disturbing was that he was able to move his body around in the real world. This was more of a bother to him since he knew what was going on, and maybe he needed to be oblivious to what was going on. For example, he found out that a fireant was climbing on his face at that moment. And he was able to control his hand in the real world to swat the damn thing out of the way, but having such a close up was not too comfortable. It was also a bit hard of a task, since he needed to avert his attention on two worlds instead of one, giving both of them half of his attention. But he was grateful, it prevented many things going wrong that could happen to him if he were not aware. However, the outside world... There was something else... He could sense it...

Instantly, he would force himself to wake up from the wonderful land of dreams. Something was definitely wrong with the scene around him, and he was unable to pinpoint it either... Which really bothered him to the extremes. Stella, Quatro! Loca- And already, he knew what had gone wrong. Stella and Quatro. Life was not much the same without them. As much as he tried to ignore the fact that they were gone for the moment, he could not help but just constantly think about them. Nevermind... The Sky Slayer would mutter to himself. That was it, he simply missed them, and he could not even take a nap without thinking of them. Was that not a pathetic display? Emotions were damning, not that he cared. It had been a while since he recovered them, what with the Existence Cannon actually hitting Elyx, it eliminated more than just the drug that he took to cause his emotions to collapse in the first place. Something felt odd however... There was something physical that was pressing against his thigh. Inside of his pocket, he did not remember placing anything inside of it. He would shove his right hand into it, feeling some metal before pulling the item out. A pocketwatch? He would comment in question before flicking it open. The time had been stuck, so it was broken. On it however was a photo of a woman. There also seemed to be some sort of magic influence on it. It felt warm... Welcoming... And unfortunately, familiar. It reminded him of Stella's presence, this had the same aura as Stella did. It might have belonged to someone, but it did not matter now, he was keeping the object.

And so he would not try to sleep another wink. And if he does, he would still be awake. But why even bother. He ended up getting a good half an hour of sleep anyways, what would be the point of trying again? Seeing that was his logic now, he would just wait. He even forgot that Ignite was still in the city. The sky was just as beautiful, he could not let his mind grow corrupt while the weather was this fine. Seeing how he was a Sky Slayer, he needed to stay at peace. And if his mind ends up in a broken state, a certain spell in particular promised him that it was okay and that everything would be fine. It has not been used, but he knew it was there. Nimpha promised him it would be, and so he may also have his emotions. The Reiaki did not need to be the emotional wreck that he was when he was a 17 year old mage, though it was only 2 years in a difference since then. Still however, it was pathetic for how old he was at the time. Since then, he only ever had his tears sealed as he did not want to cry again... Virgo was back, and that was to make sure that tears were forced out of him by the 13th celestial spirit. Stella and Quatro will return, he had faith. But he still had to put those words into consideration as well... The fact that there was a wish... It for some reason just continued to bite him. It was lashing out, trying to get his attention. Quatro placed the pieces, or some of them. Maybe he needed to do some recon. But where... There were just too many holes... He could not work while there were too many bulletholes...

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Empty Re: Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y)

Post by Ardere Kasai 21st October 2016, 8:02 pm

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Rolling his neck back and forth, slight popping sound emitted from his body. Ardere twirled his crimson blade between his pale, leather covered fingers. Sheathing the blade, the fire mage slid it across his back. Grabbing his jacket and cloak, both were promptly tossed across the man's shoulders. He wiped some sweat from his brow, and began to exit the dojo. As his feet slowly shuffled across the cold wood, he noted how quiet it was, too quiet. It was slightly unnerving, but in the end the matter was of his own making as he had the bright idea of giving his guild members the day off. Perhaps it could work to his advantage, he now had the opportunity to get some peace and quiet. Slowly walking to his office, he tossed his jacket and cloak across the couch to the right. Heating up his body temperature, he evaporated all of the sweat across his body. If he were to be touched, it would be like touching a bonfire or a piece of red hot steel. Calming down his temperature, he pulled some extra water out of his mini fridge and gulped it down. Sighing heavily, he closed his eyes. What an uneventful day it had been, yet his mind was cluttered with thoughts of the past, thoughts he could not escape.

Washing up a bit, the guild master slid on his jacket, zipping it up quickly. Sliding on his plated of armor, Ardere stood in front of his full sized mirror. Tightening the leather straps on his armor, he bit the inside of his cheek a bit. Hmpf. Shaking his head, the samurai put on all of the pieces of his armor before throwing his cloak over his shoulders, pinning it down. Grabbing Clarent, he threw the sword over his back and locked in the straps. While many would consider his attire flashy, with the bright red and gold trim, it was a family heirloom this armor, the only thing that survive signifying his lineage. It was a miracle it had been dug out of the ash and charred wood all of those years ago, but here he stood, donning it proudly. While he did not have a wife anymore, he still had a daughter and many guild members to serve as his clan. Family was something for most of his life he had survived without, but now he did more than just survive, he liked to think he actually lived. Turning away from the mirror, he pushed his door open, strutting down the hallway. Ruffling his hair a bit, the fire mage made his way down the hall to the stairs, before standing in the center of his guild hall, admiring how intricate it was. Infinity Hydra was quite the gorgeous place, even when not full of bustling members.

Exiting the guild hall, he descended the stairs down the hall, and made his way towards Terra Ignis. The castle town built into the mountain surrounded the guild, high above mountain village. He liked to think it was a smart choice, and he had yet to be proven wrong. As the one in charge of this town, he liked to walk through its streets, see its people. It was imperative to know their welfare and state of living. Roaming through the streets, he watched as the traders and merchants performed their daily tasks. Children running through the streets, playing and laughing. It was a happen town for the most part, like any it had its problems, but the guild took care of most of them. It was fortunate they had this town, to increase trade and help the guild out. It was mutually beneficial.

Leaping onto the roof of one of the buildings, Ardere slowly walked across the top of it. Some people noticed him and pointed, whispering among themselves. Other waved, and he would wave back. He heard many talk about their lives and daily tasks, but he noticed some talking about the increasing events around the country. With the events that had taken place in Hargeon, Sabertooth, Shirotsume, Domus Flau, etc. Something was afoot in Fiore, and he had an idea of who was behind many of these events, but even the isolated ones were proof that dark forces lurked in the shadows. While they had won and protected most of those places, it did not mean there was not a threat, there would always be some sort of threat. The Fire King could only hope this was nothing out of the ordinary. Staring off towards the blue sky, he watched the fluffy white clouds sail across the endless blue. Did he truly know what was going on in his world?

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Empty Re: Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y)

    Post by Haru-senpai 22nd October 2016, 6:00 pm

As Hera walked through the endless...endless...endless amount of rocks everywhere, she wondered if she shouldn't just turn on her Heavenly Body Magic and zip around through the skies until she saw something. Little did she know, the damn Guild was dimensionally shielded, by Eris' Magic and didn't even "exist" technically at this point.

Her cut up uniform was visible as she moved through the scenery, hopping down lava waterfalls and rocks here and there. Although she could fix her clothing in the blink of an eye wit a snap of her finger even; with Transformation Magic, and fly to the Moon and back within and hour. She couldn't find the Guild of Grim Heresy anywhere.

Disturbed as of late with dreams of her late Father, where she hadn't ever been before she simply sighed amidst the cliffs as she climbed over a hill and plopped down; the camera zooming in on her exposed thigh for fanservice as she let out a puff of an exhale.

The sound of gushing volcanoes, and tumbling rock filled her ears for miles and miles, as ahead the air swam with heat; as nothing but more volcanoes, lava, and dead forests stretch in all directions.

"Well....I guess Grim Heresy being out here was just a rumor after all." Hera said as she sat with one leg raised, on a pile of jet black rocks. Turning her head to the side, she did a double take as she thought...no...there was a damn house out here?! With a fence?! Sweatdropping as she stood to her feet, knowing full and damn well there was some kind of shit up, as no one would make a house out here....even another Mage. Perhaps another Fire Mage like her? Or some kind of trick?

Slowly making her way toward the house, hopping over a few rocks, and walking the rest of the way.

She dripped with sweat, but looked comfortable as her exposed breasts, her black and gold cloak shattered, barely covering her nipples and holding up her rack literally glistened with sweat. Her blonde hair dripped onto her shoulders and down into her cleavage as she put a hand on her hip and pushed the door open.

Raising an eyebrow as she set eyes on....some kind of a figure; she blinked as she wondered who it was. A shadow in the corner of the room for now. The place looked, like a shambled mess, but organized with a fireplace as well.

"Well...there's no use in hiding in the shadows if I'm in your house....why leave the door open?" she said as her senses began to tingle. Her whole body stood on end, as if she couldn't even move. For some reason, she literally could not budge. She seemed to still have her free will, but she seemed paralyzed with something or another as she stared into the shadows in the corner of the room.

"Eris?" only she and a few other Mages, herself included could accomplish an enchantment as complex as this, as this house looked and felt completely real. Although she could slightly feel the Magic in some of it's walls. "Maybe just.....no one." she said as she turned and began to walk towards the exit, putting one hand on the doorknob in a turn of her blonde hair.

.Approaching the closed door of the homestead, multicolored light flickering and and swirling in the windows, when Hera tried the doorknob she'd find it locked.  The door responded immediediately at the touch of her hand,  a bulbeous wooden doorknocker would twitch and open revealing an eye that looked agitated as it looked side to side before looking Hera up and down before the wooden eyelid closed with a clicking sound and the door swung open to reveal the tidy interior.

Blackened wood and dark red stone formed most the well-kept surfaces of tables and counters as well as numerous bookshelves with pristeen leather bound tomes of various colors and sizes labeled with golden letters and numbers that sorted them all along the shelves.  Similarly sorted were a great many glass jars,  vials,  flasks,  small square drawers,  long thin drawers,   boxes shelved in high places,  and the occasional loose object that radiated faint magical auras from statues of black cats,  demonic masks,  angelic wings,  unicorn horns,  and tomes that were flared out on display for casual referencing.

A woman was standing in front of a a fireplace reaching towards one such wall of vials,  but there was a motion as one of them flew off the wall and found its way to her hand and with a vial of pink liquid,  paying little obvious attention to Hera as she took a step inside,  the woman spilled the vial over a bubbling cauldron that roiled with purple smoke as a cat watched curiously.  A white cat that Hera might remember from her childhood.  The pink liquid from the vial spilled out and formed a sleek stream that flowed through the air in a controlled fluid motion that circled in the air before letting a carefully measured single drop fall into the cauldron.   The rest of the liquid shot back towards the vial,  a tiny cork sealing it as the vial floated back across the room to place itself back among the shelves as a large purple cloud flared up out of the cauldron and an increased intensity of the purple and pink lighting,  contrasted by the green, orange, yellow, and blue lights that flickered throughout the room from odd candles and gems set in various artifacts on the shelves.

Obviously not in the shadows and clearly present,  the woman turned to Hera when she stepped across to the opposite side of the cauldron,  the purple vapors not obscuring her face or the white featureless eyes as she stirred the cauldron with a long black rod that had a sparkling opal on both ends.    Once, twice,  and she lifted the rod out of the liquid.   When the opal on the sunken end cleared the surface there was a pinpoint spark of intense violet light and a loud "Poof".     Fang-like jaws on the fireplace next to the cauldron opened wide as a torrent of smoke burst from the cauldron,  the yawning fireplace devouring the magical vapors in the span of a few seconds,  leaving the cauldron empty of the liquids it contained.

Holding a hand out over the cauldron the woman's hand burned with a pink hued flame as an object rose out from the bottom,  flickering with energy as it came into view floating up in the air towards her hand,  sparking with the same pink flames as it got close to the burning hand.

    It was a tiny fish.

Scratching the white cat's head with her other hand she held out the other as she knelt and the cat merrily took the fish from her hand and strut off towards a pillowed basket near the door and Hera with its prize held in its mouth,  tail swishing happily as the woman dusted her hands off and looked directly at Hera at last,  only a minute or two having passed while she finished.

"So, you've been looking for me.   You know how to talk to me whenever you please and I can appear if you ask."  Eris picked up a pointed hat off of the mantle of the fireplace and rested it on her head,  adjusting it with her hand that still flickered with small pink flames.  Hera wouldn't recognize Eris's appearance,  but she'd recognize the cat,  some of the objects in the room, her white eyes,  and the tone of her voice.   "I know what's been on your mind,  and I have an answer for you.  Perhaps you didn't even know to ask of it yet"  Eris was a blur as her form faded into smoke and she whisked herself across the distance towards Hera in a smooth gliding motion to stand beside her,  Hera's own ability to fix her attire or not Eris glided the back of her hand across Hera's shoulder, not touching but letting black smoke with flickering pink sparks flow from her hand and flow across Hera's body,  fixing her clothes and adding some extra flare among which was a pointed witch's hat of her own to match her mother's.

"Lets pick up some guys and go kill that dragon." Eris said with a playful flicker of flame sparking off from her eyes as an ornate broomstick materialized in her hand that she held like a staff at first,  the tip striking the wooden ground with a knock before she twirled it around and mounted it,  guiding Hera by taking her hand and pulling her softly motioning her to hop on.

When, or should,  Hera follow suit and sit upon the broom behind Eris,  the broom already hovering off the ground,  the broom would shoot off towards the door that had closed behind Hera as she entered.   Instead of slamming into it,  the door would shimmer as the broom disappeared through it and pass through a flurry of different flashes of varying other locations and scenery like scrolling past an album of random cities, landscapes,  and even alien worlds as they all passed by in sequence.   It was as if rather than traveling primarily through space,  they were passing through dimensions and skipping space entirely, though the broom was definitely in motion as it carried them towards Eris's destination.

A certain fiery swordsman would do for their first stop,  and would be a marginally simpler task than the other guy on her list.

    I Won By Accident?
Watch What Happens When I Do It on Purpose!

"I miss them... But I can fulfill their wishes..."

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Sliding down the roof of the building, Ardere landed flat on his feet, allowing a heavy breath to escape his pale lips. Wisps of fire and steam swirled through the air from his mouth, as he turned to face the edge of the mountain. Terra Ignis had the fortunate positioning of being built into the side of the mountain, and along its tops. This allowed for a rather helpful strategic view of the areas below. Surrounded by forest on one side, and hilly terrain with a small village on the other, there were not many areas foes could easily attack from, other than above. It was a rather gorgeous Midi styled castle city, but it had much more to offer than just looks. There was a fair amount of trade and craftsmanship that it offered.

Slowly walking towards the edge of the city, he passed by the shops and restaurants, with their colorful and intriguing designs. A slight breeze flowed through the narrows slits in the wooden plates of his armor, causing his cloak to slightly flicker, and his hair to wave against the wind. It was an ordinary day, nice and cool with a slight breeze, as fluffy white clouds only slightly littered the sky. How could such an ordinary day be ignored? It was too often that the fire mage found himself facing off against bandits or monsters rather than just enjoying the little things. Several of the people noticed him exiting the town and began to wave towards him. He gave a slight wave back, and of course a smile.

As he finally reached the edge of the mountain, he sat down on a rock, peering over the side. Unsheathing Clarent, he spun the sword around and slid it into the rock. The sharp blade pierced through the weak rock like a knife through butter. Ardere kept the blade by his side, and he flipped his cloak back to allow the stronger winds to flow through his armor. He was about twenty meters away from the nearest building in the town, and facing directly south of the guild hall, which towered in the background behind him and the buildings. A single large oak tree grew beside the rock, providing some pleasant shade as he began to enter a form of meditation. Allowing all thoughts and actions to escape his mind, he crossed his legs. Taking in deep breaths, he allowed himself to be lost in the void of silence.

    Post by Haru-senpai 24th October 2016, 3:05 pm

Still moving toward the exit, she heard movement behind her. As she noticed a woman....or what looked like one, literally surrounded in smoke. A cauldron. At work at that, and.....HER CAT?!. She watched with wide eyes as Snowball, her childhood companion was seen right in front of her eyes. She couldn't really be here...could she?

As Hera took in the scene, she began to recall....more...and more of the items as she literally began to feel like she was back at home with Eris. Her witch-mother. She would raise an eyebrow with a very confused look, as the figure uncorked something with a loud 'pop!' as a pink mist literally whirled through the air, a bit into the cauldron, and then back into the vial.

"O_o" Hera had this expression on her face, as she watched the wonders before her. Even picking up a skull nearby and turning it for inspection before setting it back down. Someting began...to rise. Slowly, out of the cauldron. Seething with pinkish magical energies.

    A fish?

Her eyebrow literally twitched as she hung a bit in body language...expecting more than that. Snowball however, knew what to expect as he leapt through the air and scurried off happily, rolling about with his newfound supper. As the smoke literally billowed away...the magically cooked fish, done. She set eyes on someone she'd never seen before. But the eyes, they looked so familiar. When she spoke it was in her godmother's voice as Hera literally raised an eyebrow almost to her damn hair. Hera herself was a master of Transformation Magic, even among other users she was super, super advanced. Courtesy of Eris' tutelage. But the fact that her God Mother held a different form in front of her now. Had she found a new body? Had she risen one from the grave and reanimated it into her own? Kill someone and then posses them? Who knew. It was always something with her Godmother, a trait she admired.

As Eris adjusted and threw on a witches hat, she would speak. Hera would then take a seat in a nearby chair, looking over some of the spellbooks on the table.

"Yes well, I don't like using that ability. It creeps me the hell out Mom, and you know that." a million pranks of Eris' flashed in her head, especially her voice booming in her mind. She hated when she did that. "What did you just say?" Hera stood abruptly, dropping the book where it stood.

Apparently, Eris could literally feel her unusual mood, her thirst for vengeance. Scoffing and turning a head to the side, Eris' adamant daughter looked away. Sometimes, Hera was unsure whether or not Eris was her real mother or not. There was no telling how close she and her father got before she was born. Alyia did carry her, but perhaps there was...something Heero, Eris, and Alyia weren't telling her.

"It's nothing but a pipe dream. Don't joke around...." Hera knew that her father was probably more powerful than both she and Eris or anyone else alive right now, thanks to Eris herself killing Deniel, and Shuhei being nothing more than a raging White Dragon that had disappeared. "My father.....he would have won, but his pride wouldn't let him become what Acnologia and Shuhei have...it cost him his life." she would then turn and stare at the fireplace, unmoving as she let the flames sooth her.

As she sat in her seat, she felt Eris move close. Shrugging, as she had held many a hug with her. She continued to look away, unworried about her being so close. As Eris waved her hand, she felt her black and gold uniform stitch back together and----a hat. Running a finger on it's brim, she could tell it was the same one Eris had on, this filled her with a brief sense of happiness. But her worry kept her eyes centered on the flame.

    Fire.

It had always been there for her. She kept her eyes on it as Eris summoned a broom in a sparkle of pinkish Magic. Looking away from her Godmother, she knew she was more powerful than her Father. As his offspring, and Eris' student, it was only natural she surpass him. An amazing feat to be sure. She had to be sure she surpassed Eris and her Father and Mother both, she just had to be better.

'She's overconfident...Acnologia is....more powerful than she gives him credit for. She wouldn't stand a chance one on one....even with a million withces, mages and wizards...the odds still favor that fucking Dragon.'

She thought as she stared into the white eyes of her dimension hopping, hell realm ruling Godmother. Sometimes, she felt Eris overestimated herself. Acnologia was not some minion or mage she could bring to heel, nor was he her personal plaything. She often thought Eris looked at everything as such, but it was one of her greatest weaknesses in Hera's mind.

'I'll come so she doesn't get herself killed.....and if I have a chance at vengeance...hell...why not. He can only be killed by Dragon Slayer Magic anyway.....and these flames...have grown stronger.'

Thinking to herself, she raised a hand as she would stand from her seat as flames literally exploded from her hand, wrapping around her arm so hot, a few of the items near Hera turned to ashes and blew around the room as Eris waited on the broom.

"Fine but....only to make sure you don't get yourself killed." Hera literally was not thrilled with this decision, but steeled herself. "Don't know what I'd do without you." she said with a tilt of her hat as she hopped on the back of the broom, squishing her breasts and figure against Eris' body tightly. "Not to fast OK.....DOOR...DOOR...DOOOR!!!"

As they flew through it, Hera literally got stricken by intense motion fear. Unlike most slayers, she didn't get sick. She got afraid. Afraid to the point where she couldn't function.

Screaming at the top of her lungs as dimensions and time and space itself literally fell apart around her, Hera literally screamed in Eris ears, and cursed her names several times. She cursed Eris out so bad as they flew, that she literally ran out of curse words as eventually they would fly so fast, that the fear of death actually came over Hera, as she passed out limply against Eris' back as they flew through who knew what dimension on their way to Terra Ignis.

.The toothy fireplace yawned wide again like it had with the cauldron when Hera had her little outburst of fire magic,  the flames suppressed with a narrow pink bolt of arcane light that seemed to deconstruct the basic foundations that held the magic together leaving the orange cloud of remnant particulates to get sucked up through the fireplace without marking the home or damaging Eris's property,  including one of the nearby books that may or may not have been a journal Eris made Hera keep for a few years in her early teens,  or the scrapbook of pictures that were drawn earlier still.

Obviously items in this room were valuable to Eris to one extent or another,  and being one to create new things all the time and experiment with magical power Eris had taken precautions against destruction of her property here in this house of memories and a number of redundancies.

Once they took off on her broom,  Hera holding tightly around Eris's waist,  it only took an instant.   The scenes flashed by like a rapid slide show,  a flip book of visions passing them by as the broom only moved them a few feet,  but carried them across thousands of miles by taking tens of dozens of intricate shortcuts through spacetime like slicing through paper, abusing flaws in reality to slip between the folds and make her own holes where the fabric was worn thin.  It was only a moment,  but it had its effect on her goddaughter.  Resting her hand against Hera's clasped hands against her midriff Eris patted her.  There there,  we're already there,  she whispered to her mind.

They were slowly rising up along the side of a rocky cliff above the trees to come up in front of one man in particular,  the view of swooping colored roofs behind him baring the influence of another country.    The broom was moving slow and unthreatening when it rose and glided forward over solid ground letting Eris set down and slide the broom out from under the both of them,  resting an arm on Hera's shoulder to steady her for the moment until she recovered her senses.

There was a particular order in which Eris was pursuing her merry band of victorious heroes to bring along on her hunt for the dragon.  She may have let Hera in on the adventure regardless,  but in this instance the driving motivation was to bring Hera and Ardere into meeting.  Even should they have never met before a connection between them was clear as Eris pat Hera,  subtly directing her focus to the man.    Fire slayers tended to be drawn to one another,  and even if Eris was confident that she'd be able to convince the stranger to ride off with her to kill a dragon, it was always best to make sure things went by as quick and efficiently as they could.

A bond between slayers,  of the fire element especially,  was a convienient tool to make things go more smoothly.  Whether or not they... got together as a result would be a mother's mischievous matchmakings,  but if not then oh well, but the thought amused Eris.

"Hello there.   Would you happen to know the location of any dashing young heroes,  perhaps of the slaying variety,  who may be interested in following two women into perilous danger at the hands of a cataclysmic threat?" Eris spoke while giving Hera a little mental nudge forward encouraging her to get friendly.

    I Won By Accident?
Watch What Happens When I Do It on Purpose!

"What do I achieve by standing here, I shall find things myself!"

It would only THEN occur to him that he needed to remember Ignite, which was a huge problem in itself since he had probably been gone for hours. If she were looking for him by now, she would probably be pissed and asked him where he was. But... He could not abandon his two partners that protected him and helped him so much. They were not just there for him when it came to battle, but they were his compass in life, and he could not just let them go so quickly. They were his partners, and he would try to at least fulfill their wishes. Ignite had to wait. And she was not coming. This was something that the stubborn Sky slayer wanted to do on his own. So he was going to place a transport for himself. He needed to search for the sign itself. One being was able to do this for him. His servant. The servant of the Sky Deity. It was a Phoenix bird. He would place out both of his bare palms, opening his legs a bit so that he could amplify the mana he needed to cast out by preparing himself in a stance that allowed him to brace for recoil. This was a safety matter at hand at this point, and would rather not fall back because of a spell that had been cast. He would let out a stream of wind from his palms in a gentle manner, allowing the magic to craft itself. It firt appeared as a small outline of a beast, nothing too special. However, as the wind would gain the advantage and use the darkness implemented, the details and body features were both slowly placed inside of the core of the being. Once it was almost completely crafted, he would place his left palm back in his pocket. With the right hand, he would give the beast a gentle touch, allowing it's green eyes to awaken. The spiky feathers would extend, the wind around it vibrating violently. Not the strongest beast on the planet, but certainly a useful one.

The Sky Slayer would give it a gentle rub on the head before pointing gently climbing onto it's back, making a seat on his servant before then hanging his legs over the side. With a simple snap, the wind phoenix would rise from the ground, allowing the soles of his feet no longer come in contact with the ground. His location? There was no need to say one. Provided no destination was given to the servant, it would fly anywhere. So he decided to let nature take its course, go with the flow until he found what he was looking for. Perhaps it was a bit delusional to think that was the case... But why did it matter at this point? Many thought of him to be ignorant in the first place back when he was no one in their eyes. And he did not like to think of his mentality changing too much.

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Exhaling deeply, the brown haired samurai allowed the cool breeze and lack of loud noises to send him into a meditative state. Ardere was still able to sense things around him, he just did not find them distracting or as impeding as one normally would. He rather enjoy a good meditation session, it was not very often he found himself able to partake in one. With the hustling and bustling of guild life, even if things had calmed down slightly, free time was a luxury. Keeping his legs folded, the wind blew his thick brown locks and red velvet headband. They would flicker, as the man with closed eyes concentrated. No one had yet disturbed him, he was alone at the edge of a mountain. A solitary life was not one he desired quite obviously, but it was quite refreshing to have some alone time. This of course was his state of mind until he found two new scents crossing his nose. Opening his left eye, the fire mage exited his meditative state to find two women before him. Quite curious.

Keeping the one eye open, Ardere observed the two before him. One was a red head with a rather interesting choice of attire, almost fitting considering what appeared to be the broom she rode in on. Her scent was new, and he did not recognize the woman, but the other had something quite familiar about her. The younger of the two had blonde hair, and the scent of a dragon, a familiar one at that. He could not quite place it, but it reminded him of a certain blue haired slayer he once looked up to. Regardless, they were new faces, and posing an intriguing question. Opening his other eye, the samurai smirked ever so slightly. Well I suppose I'm always up for a good slaying of a cataclysmic threat. Pulling the red blade from the rock, sparks scattered across the ground as he released Clarent from its prison. Sheathing the sword, he cracked his neck and looked at the two women. So who might you two ladies be and where are we headed? From what he could gather they were quite powerful, and for now seemed friendly, but he was sure there was much left to inquire. After all they had just sort of appeared on a broom in the middle of his meditation, as if they sought him out. This meant that they knew who he was, not that it was a feat to know a wizard saint, but it was peculiar they chose to specifically ask him. Then again, it would not be the first time...

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Empty Re: Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y)

    Post by Haru-senpai 28th October 2016, 7:39 am

As soon as Hera stepped off the broom, she knelt and actually said a prayer on solid land. The tree Ardere was sitting under causing sunlight beams to fall through around Hera, Eris, and the broom just floating there as Hera knelt and prayed somewhat comically. Standing to her feet and stumbling, she only briefly had a green look in the face, before it faded as she set eyes upon Ardere.

He just...sat there with one eye open, inspecting them. He didn't even move. Just finally stood and opened his other eye.

Memories of her father talking about this guy, as a kid he sat on stage with him. A fellow Guildmaster, this was Ardere Kasai. A traveling wizard who came to Fiore from a foreign nation, the lone survivor of his Clan. He founded a wizard's Guild high in the mountains and after a few more years, a city, this city. Unlike her Father, Hera was very studious and already knew who this person before her was. She had an inkling he did as well as she noticed his nose wiggle when he looked her way.

Letting the two of them talk, Hera just stood there with her arms crossed across her rack, staring off into the distance of Terra Ignis. It hadn't been long ago that she herself had gathered all of Earthland's Dragon Slayers within this beautiful town, with the sole purpose of making an alliance that superceeded the Guilds---a private army of Ten Dragon Slayers that could respond to all threats from Acnologia to an Etherion Blast. She looked out against the town, the oriental style temples flowing from the mountain sides, the mist pouring between the canyons, the shouts from below, the sound of carriages and wagons. Perhaps it was because he'd named it the land of fire, but there was something special about Terra Ignis.

"Hm?" she felt Eris' psychic ping in her mind, as she kept her arms crossed and looked over at Ardere. As he freed his blade, sparks literally danced around as if he'd lit a firecracker for a moment as he pulled it from a nearby patch of ground. It had been nearby when meditating. As she set her magical senses on the blade, she felt it's age and the burning of fire magic from it, her hand twitched at her side as if she wanted to reach for it or bite it even as the amount of fire magic in the weapon seemed to attract her for some reason.

"Well, I see you don't remember me. I don't blame you." she held a hand out to her side, as her attire changed in a poof of bright smoke with Transformation Magic. She now was more visible without the black and gold slayer uniform, and huge witches hat above her head.

She now had on her usual Fairy Tail uniform, with the red bow, hair in a ponytail. White skirt. High laced brown boots (OOC Note: she looks like she does in the avatar now), as she tapped her boots on the ground. She would sigh and hold a hand out to her side again, this time signaling someone much smaller. She had on a long red tunic, with gold accents, with the Fairy Tail logo emblazoned on one of the breasts, it even had a satchel belt with it to carry items.

"It's me. Hera." she said as she held her hand out to her side, as if she was talking about a child. Memories of holding her as a baby and probably of her mother Alyia, and her Father, Heero probably filled his mind. "There's no time to explain but....the past five years were like ten to me, it's been some time Uncle Ardere." she would cross to him and look him up and down, her pony tail trailing behind her. "Although I guess it would be a shame to call you Uncle now right?" insinuating that she was no longer a child, in many ways. She would sigh and look to the side at Terra Ignis with Ardere for a moment of silence.

"Well.....we both know what happened to my Dad, and to Uncle Shuhei as well. My Dad is nothing more than a damn rock now...and Shuhei is just a raging White Dragon, probably tearing the world apart somewhere, Dragonification still controls his mind most likely." she sighed once more, and would then turn her vision from Terra Ignis to Ardere.

"This woman, who raised me in place of my parents. Sent me to find a Dragon named Igneel.....he told me stories of Acnologia. History shows that only Igneel himself could fight the Black Dragon as an equal....without him I'm not sure we'll be able to pull this off." she looked away grimly. "So you'll have to do." she would then look back to Eris nervously and then back to Ardere. "Look, I don't know if we're going to pull this off just...please help me protect her. My mother vanished.....and my Dad is gone...she's all I have left. Please help me get revenge, if my Father meant anything to you." Hera knew that one day she might have to put Eris down. But she'd honestly rather destroy the entire world at her side, and act oblivious to her evil. It was easier that way for her to understand, to rationalize in her own mind.

She balled her fist up so hard that it pretty much cut into her hand, as tears formed in the corner of her eyes, they evaporated from the raw heat on her own skin as she looked away.

"Please, help us kill Acnologia." Hera looked away as she knew that her father had actually killed the Dragon, but due to the Death Magic Curse placed upon him by Zeref centuries ago, he was immortal and could not die by physical means the way her father had killed him. She recalled her Dad pummeling him until his neck snapped, instead of vaporizing him with lightning from the one thing that could actually kill him, Dragon Slayer Magic. "Just stay out of my way. If you do decide to help."

Hera would then turn and cross, standing near Eris and the broom she would look to it turning away in a swish of her ponytail and crossing her arms haughtily.

"You know I'm never riding that thing again right?" she closed her eyes, but then opened one partially out of curiosity, and partially out of fear that Eris would try to yank her on the broom or worse, she held one eye open and stood with her arms crossed above Terra Ignis. Under a gigantic tree. With a witch, and a red headband wearing swordsman.

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Empty Re: Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y)

Post by Eris 29th October 2016, 8:43 pm

This would be my last required post already and we still haven't even met Elyx yet.  Geeze.  *Claps her hands*  Gotta pick up the pace!
^I wrote that like three days ago...  Haven't found time and mojo to post due to sickness around the house and not having much alone time.   Aaand then the awkwardness with the post itself making me have to tread a little carefully...

    Spoiler:

    Eris

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) 76868610

.Eris leaned against the broom that remained suspended in the air behind her as though she were leaning against a wall,  her arms crossed against her chest with her large witch's hat tilting down just over her eye,  one hidden with one revealed looking back at the two of them as Hera went on her heart-throb speech expressing concern for her safety.  A notion that exhasperated Eris on one hand and intrigued her on the other,  tearing her between an urge to grimmance and an urge to smirk but doing neither,  instead rolling her eyes and making a slight show of sighing.   Her daughter's misguided beleifs or not,  it didn't concern Eris.  The only reason she was bringing these three along at all was for the theatrics among other things.  It was more useful to her if people knew the dragon had been killed than if she had done so in private.

Only minutes had passed since Eris had located the dragon,  already knowing where it was Eris cast her mind's eye through to check on it again.  Only six captives remained chained to the wall compared to when Eris was last visiting,  more had been slain by Acnologia.   He appeared to have calmed down from his frustrations at the insult Eris had laid at his feet and the fact that he was unable to locate her.   It was obvious that the dragon was waiting however.   Expecting a confrontation soon.   It sensed her immediately this time,  aware of the subtle touch that was incredibly difficult even for a creature as capable as it was,  impossible for anyone even slightly less capable.   The dragon raised its head slightly,  looking again casually this time,  but appearing to try to reach out with more than just its vision.

Soon enough,  Eris thought,  and withdrew to bring her attention back to the two standing before her in time to hear "You know I'm never riding that thing again right?".  Ignoring her,  Eris stradled her broom again,  which flipped around circling her wrist with a bit of flare before she sat upon it and gestured for the man to follow suit,  to sit behind her.   Should or when he did so,  Eris moved forward,  the broom gliding smooth and effortlessly through the air unaffected by the weight as it approached Hera from behind as she stubbornly closed one eye and turned away from her (so it sounded like) and the head of the broomstick in one casual motion pushed its way between Hera's thighs,  the hard shaft sliding past and lifting up between her legs to lift her up onto it leaving her to hold on to the tip or fall off.

Just as quickly as it happened the reality around them would shatter as a thousand scenes past by them like a rapid slide show as the broom carried them between the layers of reality once more,   Eris holding Hera by her waist in front of her keeping her stable,  giving her a reassurring pat.

Like last time,  the transition was next to immediate.  Seconds past and they were already there.   The broom may or may not have been capable of true instant travel,   but there was no need to reveal that now was there?  Eris pat Hera again as the broom glided through the air at a relaxing pace.   Eris grinned at the sight of her daughter behaving like a kid again who didn't want to take a bath or shower.

They appeared out of thin air,  popping into existence immediately without any transition or fading in,  they simply appeared suddenly,  some minds wouldn't be able to make sense of it and would strain in confusion or try to fill in details that don't exist making it feel like they were there for some time,  but that was only some mortals.

Eris picked Hera up first in order to increase chances with the fire mage Ardere,  and Ardere to increase her chances with the young sky mage.   Eris got the distinct impression that he was letting the winds guide him,  carrying him where they may as Eris drifted towards him as he rode through the air among the clouds over what seemed like an endless flat grassy plain that stretched on in every direction with few features to break up the view or provide landmarks,  only the tall grass that swayed and rippled with the winds like the waves of a sea.

Eris waved,  hailing him.   Poor Hera wouldn't get the opportunity to regain her footing this time,  being in the air this was a quick stop and they would be on their way to Acnologia soon,  provided how ammicable Elyx was feeling.  As they drew within casual speaking range, Eris considered how best to introduce themselves "Why don't you talk to him?" Eris said,  touching the hand of the man sitting behind her at her own waist as normal when individuals shared a ride.

"Is that Ard? Are those two any good?"

The winds took a sudden shift, nothing too natural for him to identify since he was able to read natural winds. No sudden shift occurred without a source. Something wanted his attention. This gave him a choice. Should he ignore it and fight the drift, which would not take too much effort since he could just eat the opposing winds. Or does he continue? It was said that he would go wherever the wind took him, and there was no real reason to deny the invitation that had been offered. Just for safety though, he needed to bring himself up in case he woud be lead towards a trap. Looking down at his equipment, he would make sure that each of them were latched to him firmly, and his sky cloak knotted tightly. With an affirming nod, he’d direct the Phoenix Bird towards the direct of the wind to see where it would guide him. However, this was done at a cautious pace, since nothing was guaranteed with the shift of winds. If anything wanted to try to harm him, he would have Shima do the work for him, she always did enjoy having new puppets. Extreme…? It was his tension, it was putting him on high alert.

What caught his attention was the fact that it was a broom… With a few beings on it. It was as if there was a witch… And of course, there was one. There was no other explanation. The Sky Slayer however would not accept the invitation to chat like the winds have tried to do, so he’d push against it so that they were not within speaking range. Provided they want to hear each other, they were going to have to speak with loud dynamics. Nothing like shouting, but casual talking range was far too risky for him. A combined magic total emitted on his radar, none to underestimate. Arianna and Diablos still seemed to have the dominating combined total of magic however… So there was nothing to fear. One of them seemed familiar, though he would not investigate further on the aura. It was a fiery one, so it was either…. Ignite, who was at the town. It was Venir, who was on a huge job… Or it was Ard. There was nothing to be heard on his activity. Perhaps he was the one there. It could be another fire mage, but one of such power, Elyx had seen only so few.

He would keep his voice steady and as calm as he could, which could fool the sharpest of ears since Lerales have always been taught to look confident before playing on stage. I assume you need something from me?

Post by Ardere Kasai 2nd November 2016, 5:44 pm

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

So it was the daughter of his blue haired friend. He didn't recognize her, she was nearly a full grown woman. Ardere would have questioned it, but considering his daughter was aged to twelve years old in a matter of days, it was not hard to read. She had grown into quite the young girl, and with a magical power like that, the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. It appeared rather than the power house, he would be the tactical and strategic mind this time around. But he was quite curious as to the cataclysmic threat they were engaging. Then, the young Hera mentioned it. A name that pierced his heart. While he had no personal stake in the matter, he knew who the Black Dragon was, or the King of Dragons as he liked to call himself. Haretsa was a close friend of his, and had struggled growing up with the fact of being his daughter. So for her, he would do this. His former Head of Destruction always had a place in his heart. It's alright. You can just call me Ard. But I'm in. Let's get the bastard. Tightening the straps on his armor, a spark lit up in his eyes unlike before. He lost his last personal match, but there were no personal stakes and it was not life or death. This time, there was a chance they could all die. So today, he would not lose. He owed it to Heero and to Shuhei to do this.

Smirking at the young girl, he sighed slightly at her "getting in the way" comment. I was going to say the same to you. Cracking his neck, he prepared himself to leave. Hera was quickly forced to ride the broom she so detested, but within a matter of seconds, the group was transported. Ardere was no newcomer to instantaneous or next to it, forms of transportation, but whatever had occurred was a bit jarring. The world around them disappeared, and they moved on to the next location. As they appeared in their destination, it was quite clear who their next companion would be. Elyx. Smiling ever so slightly, the fire mage leaped off of the broom and onto the ground.

Wiping his hands, the guild master stepped forward a bit, but kept his distance. The swirling winds were concerning, but he knew the sky slayer well, he was no enemy even if distressed. Hey old friend, I hope you're well. We're in need of your help. Keeping his hand by his sides, his thick brown locks and cloak flapped in the wind, his eyes a tad watery from it. I'll keep it short and simple. The Black Dragon Acnologia seems to still be around, and the young ladies behind me need our help. We're the two wizard saints who seem to be the most involved, and we're a damn good duo. So waddya say? I know it's an abrubt and odd offer, but we can't let that thing just roam the world. What kind of guild masters would we be? Extending a hand, he was at a bit of distance but he knew Elyx would move forward and accept. Don't worry, I'm much better at fighting evil monsters the good friends, so I've got your back if it gets hairy. If it gets hairy....he was sure a lot would be destroyed in this fight, but Ardere was not the type to back down. Not even from the Dragon King, at least....not anymore.

Acnologia? Perhaps that had been it. That was the enemy that might have taken away Quatro and Stella. It was pretty mmch the only thing that he could think of that would be able to take away Stella despite her being able to protect herself and Quatro at the same time. It was considered a perfect defense, but one being was able to go beyond perfect. So that was it… Elyx had been enticed by the offer that had been placed in front of him. His light brown eyes would end up sparking a little as small dots of violet would form, soon eventually turning the color into a complete bright shade of purple. The Sly Slayer was hungry for a battle with Acnologia now. Acnologia you say? My my, I have some personal business to handle with it. Consider me in, but I'm keeping my ride right here. At this point, there was not much that one could do to get him onto the broom. He was staying on the Phoenix, no matter if the group liked it or not. Provided they wanted to fight with him about it, he’d probably just leave the scene, there was no time to waste over something like that. His mana would not be wasted, and his servant was still very much active for travel. To the other two, despite the disturbed aura that he was letting out from his body that he did not even bother trying to conceal, he would introduce himself the best he could. Elyx Reiaki. Nice to meet you both. His voice was rather stable, a true actor for sure. Placing his palms in his pockets, he’d look back to Ard with a neutral facial expression, the seriousness locked onto his eyes. When we get to it, I'm not going to hold back. Everyone... Stay away from me when I take a strike, I can only harm those that want to assist me. That was just his magic in general. Having allies would only hurt them, since little to no spells have a limit. They were able to affect an ally the same way as an enemy. Sky Slayers magic was designed to not have a favorite, and required good aim. That was a given that could not be changed by any means, and this was no different. Hopefully Ard can remember that from the last battle that had been present in the past. Plus, with his thirst for the blood of Acnologia, he was going to go in hard. His tensions were high however, awareness raised to the roof.

    Spoiler:

    Eris

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) 76868610

Eris waited intently as Ardere addressed the other Saint,  not even 30 seconds having passed since she recruited him in the first place.  Little more than three minutes at all had passed since Hera had walked into her hut in the wastelands in Sin.  Time was moving fast,  but the longer they took the more the dragon grew impatient.    Eris's mind drifted off again to check on the beast,  which was tense and had left its shipwrecked cavern horde and was making its way through the large halls and canals meant for the passing of ships through the interrior network of bays and docks within the mountainous artificial island of lost ships and the many skeletons of their crews decorating it all,  either hanging from rooves or embedded in the walls.   Skulls with everburning candles set inside casting dim light throughout it all.

The sky saint seemed overly paranoid and cautions,  barely even showing recognition of Ardere.   Eris could imagine the hassle of trying to approach him without the fire saint, caution that seemed all together missplaced,  but he said he would join and the mission was successful,  to a point.    Eris sighed and ran a hand up through her hair,  head tilting back in exhasperation,  taking off her hat in the same motion Eris cast it to one side.

"For hells sake people, I'm trying to be thematic here."  She scowled,  taking the broom out from under herself and Hera with a spin as though it were a staff,  spectral ground spreading out under those who needed it to remain in the air.    Holding it up in her hand as though it were a javelin Eris prepared to hurl it.   "You guys don't want to ride with me so be it,  lets get this over with now that we have everyone."  Eris threw her broomstick with a streak of light,  a crackle of red electricity,  and a straight perfect line as it shot forward like a bullet to pass by Elyx through the air to impact with the sky before the make shift adventuring party.   The broomstick seemed to unravel and split,  fracturing in all directions following the surface of an invisible wall that rippled in slow motion until the last of the broomstick struck and with a hammering thud the sky cracked like a lightning bolt as a wide but long, tall,  rift opened.   Large enough for a ship to sail through,  masts and all,  it was more than adiquate for them.

Through the rift was a grey overcast sky later into the evening,  rough waters churning beyond the rift with the artificial shipwreck island casting its shadow against the sky ahead of them like a towering mountain,   a large opening at sea level meant for the passage of ships into the interior yawning wide a few hundred meters ahead.     From the edges of the rift slinters of wood rushed back towards the central focal point like time reversing as Eris's broom reformed and sailed back into her hand,  catching it as she was approaching the rift herself and waved like a showman to usher them through,  welcoming them to pass through the rift she made.   Her broom extended from her hand to point the way,  making contact with the ocean beyond the rift with a mist flowing off of the shaft,  which upon contact flowed outwards over the waters as a path of ice froce over the sea as though she rolled out the red carpet for them.   Waves smoothing out across a textured surface, as to not be slippery,  thoguh the ends of the path curled upwards providing some added comfort that one wouldn't slip off into the ocean,  which in addition to the path elevating itself a bit up from the water,  kept waves from spilling over the path she had just made.

Though it was mostly for show either way.

"I'm sure the dragon is waiting for us"  Eris said,  as a roar echoed from inside of the island.

A slight smirk crossed Ardere's lips. That's the spirit. Let's go bag a dragon then. Cracking his knuckles, the guild master took a deep breath. The team had been assembled, albeit it was small, but still assembled. The four possessed quite a power, at least three of them he could vouch for, but the challenge ahead was a perilous one. Acnologia, the Black Dragon. It seemed like they were in for one hell of a day. Pressing the button beneath his bracers, a signal was sent. This signal would call forth the Black Sun to his location. While his ship was faster than most, it would take a bit before it would arrive. Hopefully the group wasn't in the middle of heated combat when that happened, but it was needed. While his ship did not possess hellish firepower, it was fast and could provide as a means of fly-by attacks, or if it came to it; a getaway. For now, all he could do was adjust his armor, and watch as the female mage opened a sort of rift. It was rather impressive, considering the size of the opening and the destination. The fire mage could now see waves, crashing and roaring. But their path into this world was forged by the witch, an interesting icy one, but a path nonetheless. Unsheathing Clarent, the screeching of metal against the sheath pierced his ears slightly, but he was rather used to it. Gripping the handle of the blade tightly, there would be no time in battle to prepare, he could only react. While he had never faced the dragon personally, he was quite aware of his power. No single mage in Earthland could take him down, hence the four teaming up. It was unfortunate, but there was a strength and advantage in a team fight, assuming they could act as a team.

Stepping through the rift, his world shifted from where they had met with Elyx, to an ocean along a sort of island. Come on Elyx, don't wanna be late old friend. Removing his coat, the white cloth was taken by the wind and into the sea. Stretching a bit, only his red and gold armor was left. The armor had endured through many battles, and it had been recently upgraded. Much had changed since the last time Ardere had the displeasure of a cataclysmic threat being thrust upon him. The one thing that had not changed; was that they would not lose. Regardless of how powerful the so called Dragon King was, he could still bleed. And if he could bleed, he could be killed. But the roaring from beyond, deep into what he imagined was the island, was unlike any other. Somewhere, he was awaiting their arrival. It was an odd thought, but a being of that power could no doubt sense them as they came within several miles of him. The Fire King was known for being more adept with his senses than others, but this dragon was unlike anything they had faced before. And he had been around far longer. A black aura shimmered across the samurai's body, it was time. For now, he would follow the witch where they needed to go.

    "Acnologia's Demise..."

What game are you talking about? Stella questioned as she placed her hands on her hips. The lady would clench her teeth tightly as she would attempt to reach her hand out towards the brunette spirit, as if to silence the sentence that she spewed out. Naturally, to no avail. The shadowed being in front of them seemed to have the outline of a smirk on the area where the head would be located. It was far too late to turn back now. I can promise you that one of the two lots may return back to their original state if they comply. The other, well... It's head would turn over to the lady. It was to address the previous state she was in, a tormented looking one before. Whatever this being was, it was not playing around. Only one of them? So... Either Stella or Quatro... or this lady? They did not even know what she was doing here in the first place, how was this supposed to be fair? If anything, it only seemed to be hungering for lives, for some reason. Before given the chance to protest, the lady would do it for Stella. You have taken everything away from me! She'd screech, her voice cutting off with a nasty crack to the voice, tears being reflected off the small amount of light emitting on the four of them. My son! My life! My rest in peace! All to be in this hellhole with you! Now you want to take away my creations before my eyes before you kill me! This rant would widen the eyes of the two other spirits, both with equally sparked reactions.

C-creations? Stella would ask, stumbling back from the lady, seeing that her mental state was not in the best of conditions right now. It did not seem like she quite cared however. Instead, the feriousity in her eyes when she looked to Stella and Quatro seemed softened. I know you don't know... But you both are to protect my son... She'd say to them quietly, practically whispering. It did not take her too long to get back into War mode as she twisted her head back to her tormentor. I will not allow you to take them away from my son! So screw your games! Damn your world! And F̷̸̵̸̝̮̝̯̺̯̮̃̑̂͆̂ͥͧ͐͗̓̓́̚U̷̵͍̞̫̱̭͇͆ͣͦ͋ͧ̑͊ͭ̌͆̇̾ͦ͂͝ͅC̙̻̦͔̠̳̮̯̺̗̖̣̮̭̭ͬ̂ͭ́͢͞ͅK͂́ͣ̾ͫ͑̒ͩ̾̈́ͩ͝҉̷̷̼̮̙̳͝ͅ  YOU! With that, she would make the most daring move as she lunged her body forward towards the shadow being, tears streaming as a spiritual fist was able to square it hard at the face. But... That moment of victory, the woman felt it for only that moment, for seconds later her body would dissolve into the void... This time, not dead. Not alive. Not anything. Existence... Erased, leaving Quatro and Stella the victors of the games that have yet to be announced... Argh... Seems like you both are the winners. Prepare to return to him, my pawns.

Screw themes, he did not want to be fancy right now. He wanted the blood of a dragon. So he'd advance forward with his phoenix once Ard gave him the word, and the both of them would follow the witch. Not a word had been spoken, but Elyx's head would be seen looking down. Hands in his pockets, his mind was locked onto the both of them. Instead of anger, distrust, or hatred... His facial expression emitted sorrow and guilt. This was something he did not bother to conceal, since he did not recognize it himself. It did not get to a point where he was on the verge of tears or anything, but it made a huge noticeable difference compared to the calm half smile that he usually let out. This silence would be kept before he then had a question after hearing the roar of the dragon. Acnologia... Do you think you can take away from me without paying a price? Seems like he was talking to the dragon itself in a darkened tone. His light brown eyes becoming violet without him even noticing, seems like he's going blind to the few fully developed emotions he had. Wrath.

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) Empty Re: Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y)

Remaining silent for most of the time, the Fire Dragon Slayer made note of her teammates. She knew Eris was capable of feats like space and time control, levitation and displacement, things of that nature. Ardere himself was capable of massive damage up close, if any tales of his swordsmanship were true that her Father had told her long ago. She'd also seen some Lacrima footage of him that was frankly unbelievable, if he was anything like the footage in action.

Elyx on the other hand worried her, he seemed...highly unstable. While his magic power reading was off the charts, it was bouncing erratically. This coming from the Fire Dragon Slayer herself. Sure she was emotional, and at times unforgiving, but she meant well. This young man seemed like he was ready to crack. She'd been keeping an eye on him, and it seemed he was experiencing either some kind of headache or some kind of series of visions as he kept spacing out and grabbing into his head here and there.

Eventually, under his breath he said something extremely dark and dangerous. Acnologia was large enough to rip him apart in one grab. Yet it seemed something beyond suicidal had awoken in him. Revenge.

Hera burned for it too, for the embrace of the blue haired father the Black Dragon had taken from her. For his smile, the smell of his scarf. His bed time stories. The snacks...oh the snacks. For all the advice she'd never gotten. She burned for it. Vengeance. However, she was no fool. She personally thought that she was the only one capable enough to face the beast here, even the woman who raised her didn't possess the type of magic that could truly harm the beast. She did. She wondered if any of them had ever even faced a Dragon before. She'd seen Eris turn into one time and time again, but had she ever faced a live one? Hera had stood before two, and lived with one for more than a year. The beasts were not easy prey, if anything. The moment they got near Acnologia, they were his prey.

As the sound of the rift howling into existence and stabilizing filled her ears. She eyed the prismatic portal with her arms crossed, stepping through it without saying a word to anyone.

With a large leap through it. She landed on the beach. Sand swirling at her landing, she stood to her feet. Waving her hand over her body, and like magic...Transformation Magic in fact....her black and gold Slayer uniform ruffled out flawlessly; appearing and cleaning itself as it was her preferred confrontation gear. Lightweight, and reliable. Now back in her usual clothes, she would turn to speak.

Before she could, a roar literally filled the air. The islands in the area literally shook, as the trees ruffled. The roar was felt literally in Hera's chest as it vibrated her very being, her chakra and magic power even.

As she recognized the roar, she got a flash. A memory. She saw her Dad laying, unmoving briefly. As she literally balled up a fist as the memory passed in an instant, to her; under the sound of the titanic roar.

"Everyone stay out of my way." she said only once, as in a swoop of her black outfit and blonde hair, she began walking forward at almost a stomp through the sand and off the beach onto the island proper. Acnologia could feel her now. As she could feel him. Heero was the strongest he'd fought since Zeref, and he probably could smell his scent on Hera. Her father had actually killed the beast, snapped it's neck. But it was cursed with immortality. A fact they'd have to deal with if they'd hoped to have better results than her father.

She'd never forget him popping his neck back in place like that as a child. She however possessed abilities her father did not. If they could get him battered enough, she might be able to actually eat the Magic Power and Soul of the Dragon. While she'd done this before during a Dragon invasion in Seven, she'd never done it with a being of this magnitude. While she had a feeling Eris had plans for the soul of the Dragon, she definitely was going to eat his Magic Power; to take the power of the Dragon King for her own.

She smirked at the thought of it as she looked around the island, eventually stepping around the corner into an area that looked like it had several shipwrecks sitting off in the water and several cave entrances.

"Hm.......maybe I should just blow this whole island chain to smithereens....then you'll have to show yourself." she said to herself as she looked out amongst the destroyed vessels and ships from the past, shaded by fog and covered in the sound of the ocean itself. Acnologia and Igneel. Rivals for the title of Dragon King. While Acnologia was the dragon given the title, due to Igneel's love of mankind. The two were no less Equal in terms of might. It would be the Black Dragon's old rivals flames that melted him down to the bone in sheer terror on this day, Hera would see to that.

Rolled: Strong + Odd = Crushing Maw
Remember you can make it perform attacks of your own accord,  the attack rolls just make sure we make it perform at a minimum baseline.

    Eris

    Dragonfall. (Eris | Elyx | Hera | Ardere - 100y) 76868610

Everyone ready to go, Eris stepped through her rift last.  The wooden island wasn't far,  but they weren't close either.  The ice bridge Eris had made,  frozen from the waters of the ocean around them,  served well to provide a path.  Most of them were unlikely to need it,  but it served to illustrate a point and Eris was a flare for the dramatics.   It did serve to cause a disquieting chill to roll across the waves at the roar of the dragon that laired deep in the artificial caverns inside the shipwreck coves.

But the dragon was not mindless,  it had been close to sensing Eris when she could not be sensed at all,  it was keen,  sharp,  and it felt the opening of the portal and the presence of the four stepping into the open.    Whether or not the other three could sense it,  Acnologia had already begun its attack.     The dragon tore through the hull of the dozen ships forming the foundation of the floating island and was charging them from below the black ocean depths,  visible to Eris as she saw the world not with mortal eyes but watched the world from a third perspective that cared not for darkness or obstruction.

The dragon was swelling upwards splitting the water past it,  it's great head was parting,  lance-like teeth bared as its maw yawned wide threatening to swallow them whole,  taking part of Eris's ice bridge along with it.       In response Eris flicked her broomstick like a staff,  scraping the ice bridge below them as it swooped up to cause the ice to crack once before a wall of ice rose up from beneath her,  and potentially her allies,  feet elevating them further out of the Dragon's reach,  and if her allies were unaware they would have more time to respond as she gave the dragon more to chew on.

Which it did,  the dragon continued forward breaking the waves and crushing through the bridge and powering through the length of Eris's wall with the sound of crushing ice like the breaking of glass.    Eris bought a few moments of time with the wall which she used to leap back,  sliding onto her broomstick in the same movement to fly out to one side over the waters.

She reached down with one hand, leaning off the broom to skim the ocean,  her fingers brushing against the water causing icy vapors to flow off her hand that chilled the sea causing tendrils of ice to branch out along her path rapidly growing and expanding.    She was making land,   like a polar ice sheet she was attempting to extend the usable terrain.   The jagged shipwrecks would only do so much good,  and lacked the ability to be easily traversed.    The only standing surfaces were the decks of the ships,  most of which were not even at a horizontal angle,  but slanted to various extremes as the ships were piled high.

Disappearing through a hole in the air after flying in a crescent path,  Eris appeared on the opposite end to the dragon and the initial ice bridge,  doing the same here for a short moment and holding her broom as she ascended straight upwards and corkscrewed over to fly above the scene,  reaching with her power to conjure support,  arriving in the form of twenty archers.    These archers had human shape but were like statues carved of ice,   the bows they drew glistening as they loosed icicle like arrows that burst in freezing clouds when they struck the dragon.
