This mission was murder and thievery, something likely suited much better to dark mages than light aligned one’s, especially when those mages were from a notable guild and rather notable people themselves, easy to pick out of a line up. Of course? Jiyu was no big fan of getting into legal trouble, considering she was only recently old enough to no longer be considered a runaway, getting into legal trouble could still lead her father to her location, and she didn’t want that. If she ever saw that drunk old man again? It would be too soon, besides for her issues with him called his dislike of her practicing mother’s magic, she now also daily contended with the fact he had known she was a half demon all along, and never told her anything about it! The only thing that would be even remotely able to get her in the same room as the man who provided the sperm her mother needed to convinced her? Would be if she was comatose, someone else contacted him, and the drunken jackass arrived before she could wake up, or if it was her funeral and someone had the nerve to invite him! Damn she should make a will somewhere that said if she was to die the last person to be contacted should be her father, and that he was not to be invited to the funeral, Black Rose would be the one’s to handle that! Jiyu shook her head slightly as she lay flat back on her bed, Maka sleeping on her chest. Thinking about things like that? Was no good because they were nowhere near relevant, she did not intend to die until she was elderly or some shit, the half demoness had plenty of things left to do! On that long list of things she had to stay alive for, firstly was find the man who haunted her dreams and avenging his murder of her mother, than she had Makoto to raise up into a powerful kitsune, become a wizard saint even more a moment so she could read her mother’s final letter, along with a few other odds and ends of promises she’d made! Jiyu was not going to admit to a few other idea’s of things to do floating about in her head, because those ones were embarrassing and would hopefully fade soon enough. No more thinking, she had to get her day started and get out of the turmoil of her mind, sitting up she carefully scooped Koto into her arms and laid the kitsune down on the bed beside her, sliding off and covering the young creature in their blanket. If her adoptive child of sorts was not ready to wake up? She’d just leave a causal little note for someone to check on her later and let the fox know where she had gone!
Before long the wind user was fully dressed and for once her entire leg was covered, faded blue jeans being replacement for the daisy dukes she normally wore, not that it made much difference when her top was still barely a bikini, but it didn’t really matter to her. In fact? Her lack of modesty had never bothered her, she’d done this sort of dress since the day she joined. Most of the guild was probably used to it by now, at least she hopped. If someone was not used to the way she dressed by now? They never would be. Anyway’s she had gotten dressed, pinned her feather’s into her hair, secured her garter under her jeans, slid her fan into one of her belt loops, secured night hunt the same way, tied her hair into a low side pony tail so that her quiver would not tug on it this time. Jiyu was ready to go on this mission, even having done research to make sure she could not get in trouble for murdering this giant in an effort to secure his cattle for the wealthy client. Turned out? The idiotic thing lived outside the normal legal stuff, so even if she ended up murdering him by accident, it would not matter. Honestly with the research she had done, the female doubted she would need to kill the stubborn beast, but someone could never be too safe, so she was bringing every weapon at her disposal, even her knife tucked safely in her bosom. “Now, who am I going to drag along with me?” she chuckled it out as she descended the stairs into the silver moon cafe, finger’s playing with the orange tip of her pony tail, twirling it about her finger’s.
Jiyu gazed around the room, most of the people around were staff and customers, not actual members of Black Rose today, which made her ticked. If she had to seek out her guild-mates to ask them to accompany her on this task? Than she might as well just do it all on her own, sure it would be difficult, but considering she was an Ace the witch was fairly sure she could do it solo. Just as she was going to succumb to the fact she might have to do this mission alone, no one else there to distract the opponent or aid her, a smirk came to her mouth. In the corner of the cafe? Was a small silvery white head, a bushy tail hanging off the side of the booth, she knew very well who that was! She had become part of Black Rose Hounds but honestly she’d done more mission’s with other people than her own team, and that wasn’t alright. However she had at first been hesitant to take Rumi out without his father, and most of her missions ended up containing only two people. By now thought, she had figured the boy was rather mature and maybe Marschal didn’t actually have any say over what the boy did. Considering she had been held kidnapped for several years? She did not know that Marschal had left the guild for some time, and returned not too horribly long before he rescued her. Far as Jiyu knew? They were a good and maybe just respectfully distance relationship. Well it wasn’t something for her to think on anyway, she had no impact in it, the only thing she was to them was a teammate! Even considering the fantasies she’d been having about the drunk lately, she shook her head clear before coming over.
“Ruminal~” her voice chimed out, resting her arms on the back of the chair, looking dog at the little boy, smirking. “Want to go do something fun? I need to go to this island to get a herd of cattle for someone, it shouldn’t be too hard.” the female swung around to the front, body swaying slightly as she giggled and looked at him, waiting to see if he would agree to come along with her, tail lashing from side to side. “The client already provided me with a ship large enough, so all we have to do is go play fetch.” and fight the monsters guarding the cattle, but that was an easily implied thing, hopefully. “So you in Ruminal?” she started walking away like she normally did, stopping to glance back and see if he chose to come with. If someone chose not to follow her? She could not waste her time trying to make them come along. Beside’s? The little boy tended to be adventurous from what she had seen, so her request was literally just something to show him he could come with, more than it was an actual request. “If we set out now we might be back by tonight.” The ace of hearts made the offhand comment, shoving her hands in her jeans, elfin ears twitching as she started towards the docks. Even if they were provided with a nice ship for this mission? She reminded herself that for a while now, she’d wanted her own ship but had been unable to afford it. Now that she was doing mage work so much and getting rewarded decently? She would be purchasing or making her own boat soon enough. Who was she going to take out on it first thought? That was a difficult decision.
