Personality: (Jack is a calm, yet fun loving person. His actions can be slightly erratic at times, being calm one moment, and excited the next. He tries to see the best in others, and doesn't like to argue with words. Rather, he deals with disagreements with his fists, and his magic. Despite his seemingly excitable exterior, he's actually insecure on the inside, and doesn't like to use his shadow magic unless absolutely necessary. He fights for his friends, and gladly steps in to protect them when the situation calls for it. Unfortunately for said friends, he tends to get them into more trouble with his "Actions speak louder than words" approach. He's somewhat difficult to really anger, but if you do... well, you're going to wish you hadn't. He uses his previously mentioned shadow magic only when his back's against the wall, or he's really angry. So if you're the target of his rage... good luck with that. However, he treats his friends better than he treats himself, so if he likes you, you'll probably be getting a decent bit of attention. He tries hard to make friends, since he's a bit lonely on the inside, and doesn't want anyone feeling like that. He's very passionate about the things he likes, and will defend them as fiercely as he can. Kind of like his friends, actually. He can often be found relaxing by water, or perhaps under a tree, thanks to his admiration of nature. And if you want him to love you, give him a nice steak. He loves steak, and will do quite a bit for it.
Now we move onto Jack's mannerisms in combat. He tends to let his joking side out a bit more whenever he's fighting, cracking jokes and making puns, whenever possible. Of course, when the chips are down, so to speak, he'll cut the comedy, and settle for cutting his opponent. He's not the best strategic thinker, and is prone to improvise on the spot, rather than coming up with a decent strategy. To him, there's no need to make a complicated plan if you know that you will still win in the end. Thanks to his neglect of strategic thinking, he's not the best when it comes to directing teammates in combat, but he's more than capable of keeping morale up, and if he's paired up with someone who can keep the team running like a well oiled machine, there's no way on Earthland that the team he's on will lose. He tends to keep towards the back in a fight, using water magic to keep the enemy at bay. But when he needs to get in close, and he's got no other option, he slips into the shadows, reappearing behind, in front of, below, or even above the enemy, poised to strike. When it comes to long ranged combat, he's an absolute beast, but if he has to stick with close combat, he keeps to defense. But if he gets the first strike, he'll pressure the enemy as much as possible, not giving them a second to breathe.)
