The King of Storms [Solo] Empty The King of Storms [Solo]

Post by King Elyx 26th September 2016, 5:38 pm

The job was simple, take down something that was known as the Storm King. This was apparently a monster made from heavy storms that could aimlessly aim to destroy a whole island every 50 years. And this just so happens to be the day it arrives, and can Elyx believe that? Adrelissa helped with the convincing however, she was able to give him concrete proof of it’s existence with the library of Oahu, the books seemed to prove everything about it and the chaos that it was able to do. However, that was not too much of a concern. According to the legend, no being is able to take it down. But if it’s body is made from wind like he expected it to be… Then there was going to be a huge problem for it. The Sky Slayer ate wind, and he just had to eat the being to kill it. Sounded rather easy. And considering his body was able to consume those sort of things easily without taking damage, he was able to eat the enemies wind. So with that, he would nod his head to his best friend before she would exit the scene. The jewel reward was not too much, but it was an easy job, and it counted for a 100 Year one as well, which could do wonders for the Golden Phoenix reputation. There were many things that he needed to implement for the guild. And if he wanted to be able to do those things, he would need more than a 100k reward. However, it was easy money, and so he had no reason to turn his head away. Plus, he does not recall the Crescent island. Perhaps this was going to be a new day for exploration, which the young slayer did not mind in the slightest. Placing his palms against the surface of his desk, he would lift himself up before looking back to the window of his office, all the way towards the bottom of the ocean where he would see the relaxing scene of the ocean. It was nice to feel so protected and so isolated. With that little moment of peace, he would place his palms behind his back as he would walk out from his office and towards the pods. It was a private one for him, and it took a different path. The only flaw with it was that it relied on a tube. This tube went out from his office to the top of the mountain, but damage to it could cause a leakage. However, Elyx planned to be responsible with it, and so he most likely will not end up with a water slide at the end of the day. It travelled through the ocean and only accepted his mark, being the Guild Master and all. The amount of G Force that is used was beyond immense, too much for the average mage to take. Nimpha liked to be creative, and she went above herself in doing this, making only certain mages take the slide. It would launch him through the mountain and back up out of Oahu without teleporting.

So he would then begin his adventure, jumping into the tube and crossing his arms. It would instantly use lacrima to launch his body forward. He would keep his eyes closed, not wanting to feel all of the wind against his eyes. What, nothing made him immune to it? Not even the training that Alcore had given to him. Once that had happened, the Reiaki would end up feeling the hollow tube lose its grip on his back, and so he would open his eyes to see if it were safe to prepare for a landing. Once his light brown orbvs came onto the scene once again, he would flip as he saw all of Phoenix Islands. It was his home all right. And being his home, he would end up smiling as he ended up landing on the top of the mountain once again, breaking a bit of the rock below him due to the landing. The soles of his boots would end up with a bit of rock, but no damage done to them. Looking at the scene below, he was reminded of why he even decided to join Nimpha in making a guild in the first place. The Phoenix Birds were moving around so elegantly, though some seem to have found a little intruder or two. Unfortunately, he did not have the time to check out the situation, and it was not too close to the borders of the guild, so it was most likely that the ones who pass will just end up returning back to the town below. Or die, which would most likely be their choice since they were so close to the city, and no one dared mess with the Phoenixes. They were the allies of the guild, so he was not going to stand idly by if they were taking down. Ignite was one, which was why he felt so closely to them, since he looked at her like a little sister. However, she seems to be growing up rather well, she is gaining much more knowledge as each day passes by. It might get to the point where she ends up being a full grown woman with a lot more knowledge than him, since she tends to age quicker than he did. However, he did like to think that he grew up well as well. Remembering the little cringy but happy little 17 year mage he was where he was limited to spells that were only classified as D rank in the current Magic Council system, only to end up being one of the Wizard Saints for Fiore, a God of Ishval no less. It was definitely an honor to have such a thing occur for him, but it was earned. That showed how much improvement he had from his former self, which he liked to believe he still had in him, but knew full well that he was much different from them. Iza kind of took his place a bit, though he did not remember himself being as annoying. Now he just about had everything that one could have, reaping the benefits of all the hard work.

The next step looked like suicide, he would jump down from the top of the mountain. Nothing had been done before, it was a human falling down to the ground. A confident smile was still on his face though, was he actually able to do this? He would have been afraid before, but he knew what feats his body was able to carry out, and he wanted to prove that to himself before making such a risky move. Was it worth it? To him, it meant just about everything. Life was all about proof, and hew wanted to confirm that this was the reality he was living. The more that he felt, the more force that would be sent to his body. This was just simply due to the fact that gravity was pulling him close, and he did not even spread his body out to create more air resistance. It instead just gently brushed against his cheeks as he would then end up hitting the ground, the right palm making the contact before he rolled forward, like  he were doing a somersault. With that, he would stand back up, placing his palms against the sides of his body, nodding happily, then continuing on to take on the next task at hand. It was to travel out of the Phoenix Islands and out towards the Crescent Island, which should not be too difficult considering they were both islands, meaning that the both of them are very close to each other. According to the map provided on the job, it was actually extremely close to him. It was about two islands over. However, that distance required a ship. And so he was going to have to stop at the harbor to get the personal little ship that he bought a little bit before. Or one that Ignite forced him to buy by using his own jewels.  Now he was not afraid of the water anymore, so there was no reason to stop him from getting the ship and travelling, though it was probably better to making it out of steel than the current weird material… Which was wood. Was wood even able to hold on water after so long? Eh, if not, he was just going to have to buy a new ship, but who even knew how much those ended up costing? Now that he thought about it though, the Magic Council allowed him to buy Guild Ships, which could be fun if they wanted to travel. It all came back to jewels, and befriending the Phoenixes was the best thing that he could do before getting the ship, so it was just simply a thing he could add on the “To-Do list.” Placing his hands against the back of his head, he would be nearing the little harbor. Time to get himself the ship. It was actually still sailing surprisingly. He remembered now, it was built to hold a bedroom with two beds in it. So many memories, like Allison being with him there. The adorable little murderer… Now he wondered where she went. Not a trace of her being was still in existence last he checked. If he checked.

After talking to the clerk of the whole thing, he seemed to want to give the boat back for a bit of interest. It took a bit of convincing and abusing the fact that he was the one who even owned the island in the first place, but he was able to get his own ship back without getting scammed. Elyx did not want that sort of person on his island anyways, so he was going to make sure that there is a security scan check to make it look like taxes are being collected. They were going to need a disguise. Heck, they might even be done by his members for a small reward at the end of it. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would watch as the men would begin to unravel the shop that belonged to him before he would then hop onto it, jumping from the edge of the harbor to the top of the ship before cutting off the ribbon with Bound Iris. And with that, he would begin to sail, using the steering wheel at the top of it to make sure that it was being set on the right course. According to the map, he was going to be traveling at the current pace that he was going for about an hour, which was pretty good for what the Reiaki was aiming for. He planned on using the whole day to eat the monster, but now it might get done right before noon. The news was just coming all over again. More and more hope in building a better and brighter future was still there. It was all coming together, all the plans. He wanted to help with the exploration, humble himself to those who want to climb up the way he did. The work itself was not easy, but it could feel way easier if there was someone who was willing to give them a little bit of a hand. That was where he came in. While he used to love going to other guilds and helping them since he felt more at home with them, he was in Golden Phoenix, where home truly felt like home. A lot has changed though, with Iza somehow becoming the Guild Master of Black Rose, hence the alliance between the both of them. Perhaps if he had stayed a little bit longer in the guild, he might have been able to stay, and maybe even get to others while helping those in that guild. They could have made something really amazing as a team. However, there was no time to regret it. The three of them, the three guilds, as long as they are aligned with each other, were in a good condition as it was. Aiyana and Elyx both had a summoner and spirit contract that ended up being an alliance between both of their guilds. Amazing how these things ended up being at the end of the day. They went from friends to contractors to Guild Masters and now… Their own alliance. And then Iza came into the fray. The Wizard Saint had nothing to regret.

The sailing was rather easy for him. He would have his arms hanging over the railing. With that, he would look into the water to see what he could find under the sea. There were a few fish in the ocean, and they were swimming away from the ship for a good reason. Placing his palms into his pockets, he would then look over towards the side, where he left from the Phoenix Island, only to see it as a small dot out in the distance now. It was going to be a nice and relaxing ride. However, no one was at the wheel, so he was going to have to keep an eye on it every few minutes, or run the risk of having the wind change the fate and the time, which was nothing to rely on at this time. He would know, the wind can really screw up someones days. With that, he would smile as he then would place his blade out, Bound Iris, once again and sliced it against the wood to carve it, slicing the ground a bit. It was to make sure that it was not too bumpy, a bit of O.C.D in him, but it was his ship, he might as well do whatever he wanted with it. Not that he wanted it in the first place, but not it was a good mistake rather than one that backfired. In doing so, he made the ship lighter, and he noticed a bit more of a difference in the speed that it was traveling at. The wind also seemed to be growing stronger. The sky was also turning a bit more into a darker shade of blue, becoming purple by the end of the scene. Lightning seemed to be nearby, the Wizard Saint was able to sense those sorts of things, and he knew that with natural disasters came a rainfall. He had to jam the wheel quickly so it would not change the direction. The only way he figured to do that was by slamming the blade against the ground and against the wheel, preventing it from spinning further. The rain was beginning to fall. He would quickly travel down the spinning stairs, nearly grinding down the rail, but preventing himself from doing so. Once that was done, he would then make it to the bottom, looking to his right to see the door to his room, and fortunately for him, he left it unlocked last time. Seems like he was not going to get wet this time around. Opening the door, he would end up inside with a light inside, the lacrima still burning brightly. In the room… It was a memory lane for him. A few photos on a nightstand that lied right next to his bed. There was a small little bed that he ended up getting in plenty of fights with before, with both the bed and those who tried to get him out of the damn thing. And finally, there was a place for the new Reiaki, who is now H rank. Last time he entered this, he was most likely S rank.

Inside of the cabin, he would end up walking to the first area where he would sleep on, the bed. In the bed, he would end up seeing two photos. One was a photo of him and Ignite, Ignite on his back as he lifted her up into the air. Her stupid little smile as she would place her fists up into the air, looking so excited for some reason. He was unable to recall the reason, but the both of them seemed to be enjoying the moment, and that was something he could enjoy. The clothing style was also completely different to the one that he knew of himself wearing now, it was definitely a noticeable change. The Reiaki did not know about why that was the case, but why did it matter? With that, the second photo would be one of him and his old friend, Allison. With Allison, she was a little girl that wanted things to be good. Theyw anted them in good condition. But if that were not the case, she settled for a completely different path. One that was most likely going to end up killing people. It was a simple process called fixing, and fixing was to kill the beings in order to make sure that they aren’t debugged… Because by taking life away, it can’t be damaged? Still though, he had yet to see her, maybe Ven knew a thing or two about it. Heh, maybe he would like to ask her later. But for now, he was just going to have to deal with it. The girl was sweet overall though, she placed a smile on her face and even tilted her head in an adorable way, how was one supposed to resist her in the first place? It had been what, a year only? And within that she, she probably had grown up like him as well, living her own life and doing things for the world. Hck, she might have even found a boyfriend that was her own age. And if so, that was much kudos to her, because she had the good intentions of someone who deserved a boyfriend. With that, she was simply holding his head, closing her eyes and tilting her head to the side once again. She was pulling him out from the cabin, he remembered since he had a panicked look on his face. She had a lot of strength, the little girl most certainly did. Placing his hands across his chest, he would then smile as he placed it down. They had so many silly times together. The gentle patting of the rain outside would remind him of the moments of relaxation they had together, how close of a group that they felt towards each other. The both of them had a lot of fun. But that was also when Eclipse Soul was a guild, but he had yet to even hear of its existence anymore. Was it even a thing was a question. Eh, it was not anymore now. And did it matter? There was a lot that happened… And yet he heard nothing of it. Ven was still the only one with the answers.

The memories would only last for so long before the storm would then remind him of where he was once again. It was kind of relaxing to imagine it, and the impact that the plasma had was hot. It warmed up the waves, but none would strike the boat itself. And it was staying afloat. It seemed to weight enough to prevent itself from tilting over to the side. It was too easy for him, he would just place his weight down further towards the tilted side, moving it back onto the water before then having himself look outside the window. The storms were getting pretty close to him, he was nearing dangerous territory. It was going to have to be him defending the only platform he had. First, he needed to make sure he had control. Stroll down memory lane is over, he would end up opening the door from his cabin once again before proceeding to bail out, running up the stairs and to see that the sky had become a nsty shade of purple. The Storm Kign was really true all right, something like this had never happened for a long time. And now it has, and it was going to make a hell of a ruckus if he let it liveo n. Yet he knew the the sky deity was much stronger. Never had he been forced to take it’s form, but when he did take it… It was going to be a nasty ride. Fortunately, no one ever gave him a reason to do so, and so he would prevent himself from even using it. Instead, he would just eat up the storm king. Yup that was his plan, he was going to eat up a huge monster of wind and place it in his stomach. It was going to take some time with all of the wind, and he might end up entering God Force mode because of it, but it was eventualy going to end, and he would be able to take it all. In doing this, he would achieve a new limit he never knew he was able to do, aminly due to the lack of wind mages there were in the existence of Fiore. It was nice, yet kind of saddening at the same time. Then again, he was a Lerale mage, so that was also even lonelier, since no one even knew of his tribe. It took a year for him to even tell Iza of his origin, so there was a bit of hope. She was not a Lerale though. Hell, she was not even a human being. Now that he thought about it though, he should not complain so much. He chose and succeeded in a new life. They gave him a chance, and now he was going to fight for them until the day he died. And with Stella nad Quatro by his side, he might never truly die. Oh how bliss life was for him, he had no reason to complain. And the pain that had was over. The fall of the storm king was going to be the proof of that.

The eye of the storm was looking down onto the dot that was far out into the distance, but through it all, he could see a little bit of a dot when it comes to a land. With that, he would then place his palms out, so that he could feel the direction where the wind was headed. And sure enough, it was being dragged towards the islands right now. Nodding his head, he would end up placing his hands against his pockets before then looking over towards the island once again. It ws not going to be a pretty arrival. The lightning was constantly striking down onto the town that was in the island. The ship could not go any further. And Elyx was not going to run the risk of jumping over a whole ocean… That was a terrible idea in his opinion. With that being said, it was going to be much more of a problem to let it all go without any form of movement. It would take about another half of an hour to get over there, but he could see so far away. It was not too fair, he could stop them… But if he manipulated the water, he could really screw up a different area. The goal was to prevent the destruction, or get rid of it rather. It could slaughter the town if he were to let it go. Remembering what he did as a kid, he would remember that it was the client that came first. So he would look over to the back of the ship before then manipulating the wind into his palms, firing a beam of wind towards that direction. The ship was being pushed hard against the water, the waves getting strong. A bit of the water did get to hit the floor of his ship. However, it had a little wall in case something like a big wave would come. And the wood would absorb the water and place his palms out. If he were able to intensify the magic, he would be at the island by now. It was a good idea to get there quickly. Now he would just look over towards the island, clenched his teeth, then he would activate the Sky deity bellows. He would bring a bunch of compressed wind into his lungs, letting the magic take it over before then releasing it out like an engine. The ship nearly went under the water as he would then look over towards the island. However, the waves were then pushed up to block the view. He would frown, it was not even seen. He could have crashed at any point. He might have lost the ship in a few seconds. With that, he would release the spell, getting rid of the spell he used for an engine and soon, the waves would not be as violent. Perhaps he made a mistake by sending them a huge wave, but the island did not feel any of it it seemed. In the end, he ended up getting the job done. It was perfect, he was able to get there… Despite the risks.

With that boost out of the way, the ship would arrive onto the island, and somehow, the storm seemed to calm down. It was nothing more than a gentle pitter patter and nothing else. The rain was still there, he had no idea what that huge storm was about, but it was far too coincidental in timing to be considered something natural. A source wanted to send him and his ship away, probably by sinking it if he had to guess. But there had to be more than that in order to carry out such a task. So with that, he would end up on the crescent island. The winds were slowly beginning to gain in speed, it seems that there was a source area for all of the destruction somewhere. He needed to act quickly. But first, magic sensory. It was needed in order for him to sense any form of summon. His light brown eyes would be sealed and his ears enhanced, his other four senses enhanced as he would then feel the magic presence of a being pretty far from here. It was not too far in general, but it would take about another thirty minutes from this distance. His legs would make the run as fast as they could, blurring with the air as he left after images to show his trail for about a second or two, only to disappear quickly. The island was about the moon it seemed, the moon was already out despite the fact that it was daytime, or nighttime rather now. With that, he would then look over towards the side to notice that the wind had been shifted towards a different direction. This was only seen because of him being a Sky God Slayer, he was able to see shifts in his elements naturally when they occur. It seems like the enemy had an idea of where the Wizard Saint was aiming to strike and relocated. The sly being it was, but it was not going to get away from him so easily. The trail was going to lead him, and if it changed, he would just continue to follow. This also meant that he was going to have to be extremely aware with his speed. Provided he went too fast, he might miss the sharp turns of where the wind might end up leaving. As a result, he could lose it. Turning towards the west, he’d pace towards the trail once again, making sure to follow the curving winds. As an unfortunate result however, despite traveling in the forest for a little bit, the Reiaki would find himself duped when he ended up back at the shore where his ship was. It was nothing but a trick. A dirty trick designed to make sure that he did not get towards the being he was looking for. Sly, it knew of him being able to sense the wind, so it relocated him back to an area that was not his destination. There was a taunt factor with it as well, bringing him back to his boat, most likely telling him to get out of the scene.

The King of Storms [Solo] Empty Re: The King of Storms [Solo]

Back to the first phase, Elyx had to consider his options. The being knew that he was here, and that it would only bring him away from the goal if he were to follow it. And chances were that he would not fall for the same trick twice, so it was going to have to try something else. If it were smart enough to send him back to the shore, it was most likely smart enough to figure this out as well. It was a damning result, but it was a reality to accept. But was there any way that could be used to push the leverage to his side? The brunette thought hard about that, thinking of any possible way to get the task done. However, it seemed nearly impossible. It was like trying to attack a Queen with a Rook. There was a way to beat it, but that’s if an opponent slips up. And you could only hope and pray that such a thing happens. Luring it… It needed a trap in order for the mess up to happen, then strike before it can go back away from the step that forced it into trouble in the first place. Wind. IT was needed to fool the being that he had been gone. One ability of his allowed a hurricane to be formed. If it mistook his wind with it’s own, he’d be able to trick the being into thinking he left. That’s where he can quickly make his move out towards the enemy and strike it from behind. With that, he had a plan now. He would place out his palms and quickly emit the deity sky supply, letting it flow through his veins before then releasing out wind. The breeze was gentle against his skin, a smile locked on his face as he would then inte3nsify the wind. The feeling of energy moving into his body was admittedly kind of exciting. It made him want to run, cause even more wind to surround the place. However, he knew that he needed to control himself. Blending would require him to be timing things right and adding only a certain supply of things to the scene, not an intense amount. So despite this excitement, he was forced to ignore it. It was like having soda, a caffeinated one preferably, then drinking the whole liter, then forcing whole body to sleep. It was possible, but it will most likely damage the body at the end of it. Looking back towards the forest, he would end up running back into it, the wind still being left behind. However, this time, he could not be as swift about it. Running at a moderate pace was going to have to be the limit, seeing as it was smart enough to detect any unusual activity within its territory. So with that, he would end up jumping out from the forest to see a city after a few moments later. And somehow, there was not even a drop of rain in it yet. The people of the town had yet to know of a thing. It was clever… Wow…

So this was the crescent island. After observing it, it seemed to be a nice place. The humbly people of the town were guarded somehow from the outside. They all seemed to be having a good time with their lives. And it was all about to come to an unfortunate end if he did not warn them. Opening his lips, he would let out a little subtle amount of air, then forced those lips shut after the fact. Was it worth it? None of them would believe him if they were told that. That also means their client was not in the town either. So it was going to ram through the city, and only the elderly can recall of it doing that, most likely when they were children. But now, it has been so long, they probably feel a bit of security knowing that they were able to avoid such a thing for 50 years straight. Well then… On the plus side, they were able to tell him of things that it could do, other than the wind manipulation of course. So it was time for some… Interrogation? Was that the word for it? He was just going to approach some of them and have them explain the situation to him. They were probably going to think of him as childish, maybe even thinking of it to be a tale. But there were answers in their mind, and he needed them so he knew how to combat with the damn thing. So with that, he would begin to walk down from the protected area onto the ground. The people seemed normal as well, none of them with differences that were too noticeable from a human being. However, none of them seem to have a magic flow either, there was no chance that any of them could be mages, much less an experienced one either. So what could they do? Eh, if he was able to prove to them that there really was a huge storm monster coming their way, then maybe, just maybe, he would be able to get them out of the scene and away from it. While their town could be hurt in the process, he would be able to combat with it and take out the enemy. Hopefully it was truly a giant beast rather than a beast that has as much mobility as he did. While he could steal their speed, he would have a hard time with actually hitting them. And while he would not lose to them since he was designed to heal faster than he took damage, he would be able to just sleep and still be able to fight them. He was going to have to get the support of the elderly. A stranger to their land, even if he was a Wizard Saint, was not going to have much of an impact on the island if he told them of such a stupid sounding tale. But if he had those who were known by the town help him, he would be able to convince the town to move away and follow his orders. Sounds good.

The first building was an inn. While it did seem rather welcoming, he saw no reason to go inside of it. Sleep? While he was tired from being on a boat, and he seemed to be lagging a little bit, he had to tell himself that now was not the time for a nap. There were lives at risk. And so he would just reject the temptress of an offer. Instead, when he entered it, he would see a clerk there. A nice seeming lady, a small smile on her face. She seemed to be middle age, wearing the average maiden clothing he would expect from a humble town. He would approach her casually, but decline the offer of staying over there for a bit. Maybe a bit of credit had been lost, he only came for a question rather than using their services, which might throw them off of their game when it came to talking to him. Eh, did not matter now, he was good. So with that, he would place his arms across his chest as he would begin the questioning. The first thing was if there was any elderly person that was staying at the inn. She just shook her head. She would explain that they were usually in the retirement homes, or if they were rich enough throughout their years, in their own homes. A bit of land had been dedicated to them if they wanted to buy a house, and it’s reserved for only them. For the Reiaki to enter, he would need permission from them. It’s heavily guarded however, so it might be a bit of a pain to enter. For him, it did not seem like much, but he was not there to cause any trouble. So he was willing to comply with them for no. Provided they did not want to resist against his attempts, he would be able to get in. And if they do want to stop him, then maybe a bit of force, B rank at the most. He would then continue to ask her if she were able to tell him about the Storm King. She chuckled, then snickered, then just straight up laughed. Yeah, he did not think so. She was seemingly too young for that sort of thing, and he dare not press her with any more questions. So a bit of recon had been done at the inn. He learned nothing of the being, but he did get to experience a new site. The land that had been given specifically for the elderly however was at the other side of the island according to her. He would rather take down two birds with one stone, and continue asking those in his way if they know of anything. Who knew, it could be something that was not true. What if there was an inn towards that direction, and the lady was just trying to market and get him to go there. While he was unable to figure out why, there was a chance that she actually did answer his question and the retired would be there. In the meantime, he should look for a retirement home.

The second place that he entered was a retirement home. The lady was telling the truth, and it seemed to be very well kept as well. There were many sorts of things that the elderly did, all of them were pretty much predictable. Heck, it even supported one of Elyx’s favorite sports. Gambling. Now that was a game for champions. Blackjack was being played, though the people did seem to get suckered by the machines there. He knew one technique that could be used, and if it were used, then these people can expect to be losing for a long time. One method in gambling machines are known as the pay out method. With this, there is a promised prize, say a legendary item. And for whatever reason, it’s a limited edition one that costs 100,000 jewels, and it only takes 50 to play. It looks enticing, being able to get the money at a bargain. But there is no chance of getting it until it’s actually paid out. Paying out a machine means that it will do anything in it’s power to prevent the player from winning, but making it look like it was possible. In fact, it’s a lot more addicting when that is the case, because they have the completionist effect occur, where they MUST beat something, and they would feel wrong if they did not do that. Provided that be the case, they will keep on paying, fighting a hopeless battle. A hopeless one until a certain amount has been paid. For example, if so many people played the game that it ended up gaining a goal amount of 200,000 jewels, then one lucky person who arrives at that time will be able to snatch the reward if they actually get it. Basically, the prize has been paid out, and someone skillful enough to get the prize will be able to do it. It was a beautiful little trick, because the creators obtain a lot of jewels, and one “Lucky” individual was able to gain something for themselves. Of course, this is just one tactic, and that’s IF they were designed to let people win in the first place. Elyx could not tell by simply looking, all sorts of machines like that are designed to do different things. Owning a Casino of his own, he most certainly knew some of the strategies that the people who run the place could use. It was simple, yet so worth it. The elderly keep on cursing at the machines whenever they lose. Those individuals were not too wise, probably spending any penny on that. Gambling itself can be a cycle if one does not control it. All they would end up doing to themselves is repeating a couples steps. Earn, play, lose, repeat. And if they even replace lose with win, guess where their winnings go towards. One can’t just “Stop playing”. It was like an unhealthy drug, and it can ruin a being. However, at the end of the day, if one were built like his, any of the losses go towards the guild. That was something he was proud of when it came to his own Casino.

Proceeding to see the elderly people do what they do, he saw one in particular with a stack of cards. He seemed to be playing a game of War with himself. A game that needed two people, but only one person was present sadly. Placing his hands in his pockets, the Guild Master would walk over to him, seeing that he seemed to be a man that had enough brain cells to not gamble all of their money and let it consume them. He would enter the scene with a casual smile on his face, looking to see what he could do for the guy. He would look back up to see the brunette, his lips neutral. The Reiaki would point at the set of cards before sitting down. It seems that the man was winning against his imaginary opponent. Looks like this was going to be a rough game of war. The game was simple, get a set of cards, split it in half evenly. Elyx was willing to work with what he had, because this game was truly a game of luck. Barely any skill can be used. Well, if shuffling can count as a skill. Then they set it down, unable to look at the decks. They both would declare “1, 2, and 3.” Before flipping the top card of their deck over onto the table. Whoever has the highest ranking card is the winner. The winner would take both of the cards that were used in the “War”. The lowest is obviously 2. The highest is Ace. So that makes an Ace immortal? Nope. There are two Joker Cards, and those cards are able to wipe out many games and turn tides in their favor. The Jokers are able to kill the Ace cards, the seemingly invincible card. However, Jokers lose to anything else, which makes it either really useful, but most of the time, really useless. If the two of them ended up flipping cards and ended up with different results… They would go to war. They would each place 3 more cards face down, then take a fourth. That fourth will be flipped over in the usual war style. Whoever wins that one will take all of the cards, the flipped down cards, the cards used that ended up in war, and even the ones that ended up taking out the who war set in the first place. In the very unfortunate case that after war had been declared, that both sides get a tie again, they would end up placing three more cards down and flipping another fourth one. By this time, the loser of that one will pretty much be losing their deck. One thing that Elyx had learned was that the smaller deck usually is very hard to push past, considering they consist of really good cards, probably jack ones and jokers. They were a 50 50 shot, but they had good ones. But they can still be ran over by the bigger deck, which consists of a handful of 2, 3, 4, and all those other low cards as well as high ones. All luck, no skill.

The man would be the first one to pull out a card. It was a seven. Elyx would then begint o ask the questions that needed to be asked. The first one was about the fact that there was a monster in the first place. The man would confirm that it did exist, and that it has not arrived for a long while, so that it was probably only a one time thing. Oh how the man could not be any more wrong. Elyx was able to pull off a 9 and take away both of the cards. They were medium, and they did serve some use. Round two, the Wizard Saint would be the first one to pull a card. He would then ask about what it did to the town and how they were able to recover from it. The goal of that question was to find out what it was able to do. The latter of the question was just simply a bit of a question he had, not really much motive went along with it. So with that, the man would begin to answer. To the first one, he would explain that it was able to tear the whole town apart. All of the buildings were left in a huge mess, the debree was so strong that the children were able to choke on the air and die. He was a lucky one he said, and that it was unable to kill a small youth that was as strong as him. The Wizard saint laughed a bit for the confidence that had been shown. His own card was a King. But the man flipped over an Ace, making Elyx lose both the kind and that chance to get an Ace. The Joker was somewhere in his deck, it only made sense. The answer to the second question as drifted off into a different subject, why the heck would that be the case? The man would instead explain that there was a barrier that was much stronger now, and it should be able to hold. Nah, Elyx had his doubts about that one. The third part of the attack came along, and the man would flip his card over. An unfortunate four. Elyx was able to take it away with a Jack, but it was really the Wizard Saint who ended up with the bad luck there. He ended up wasting a good card on a useless card. The next round happened, the both of them pulling out a 10. In that case, there was a war. Three cards would be placed face down, then each of them pulled 4th card from their deck. With that, he would then flip his own card over to reveal the joker he needed a while ago. The man laughed a little bit as he would then end up with a three, taking away all of the cards that were there to be looted from the set. And with one final card, Elyx would flip over a small 2. It got murdered by the queen that was there, seems luck was not on his side… But he had a bit more information.

With that game of War out of the way, Elyx was certain that he had an idea of what he needed to do. Now he needed to get back outside. There was enough info in his head for now. And if it were able to destroy cities, it was going to have a lot of wind behind it. And with that much wind, the Wizard Saint was going to take advantage of it. He was going to eat the whole thing up in one single scoop if he had to, but it was going to go down one way or another. Placing his arms over his chest, crossing them, he would end up walking away from the house. The man seemed happy that someone was there to play a little game with him and be able to spark up a conversation. It was most likely he did not even know who Elyx was, and maybe it was better things stayed that way. He liked being humble and did not want to show himself off too often. Hopefully the man will learn one day, and then have him known to just be an ordinary dude like anyone else. But for now, that was going to have to wait for many years. The Reiaki would end up out, and now he had a new mission, get the monster to notice him and get out of its hiding spot. How was he going to do this? He was going to try to exploit it, make it come out and start attacking the village and their defenses or whatever the man was talking about, then have it lured to him before he began to eat it. Yes, he was aiming for the extra jewels, it did not need to be anything more than this. Once the job had been done, he was going to have a lot more to do with the extra jewels that he obtained. That Guild Ship was his, now he had a lot of ambition to get it. With that, he would then end up blurring away from the scene, almost bumping into a few people in the process. The first thing he needed was an idea for a trap. What could possibly making it come out of hiding rather than having it use wind was the question. And almost instantly, he would obtain an answer. It was a small answer, and there was a hit or miss factor, but if it landed, he would end up having things done easily at the end of the job. It was going to require Quatro. And he seemed ready for the task as well. So with that decided, the both of them would nod their head, the spirit and the Saint, before then making it out to the edge of the city of the island. They all seemed like such nice people, it would be a damn shame if they ended up in ruins. He liked them, and so he was going to make sure they could continue being the nice people they were. It was still a little risky, but the result could be more than worth it.

With that, they were away from the population. Not too much time was spent in iut, but he had none to lose in the first place, so he needed to get out of there as soon as he could before getting distracted. With that thought in his head, he was now very focused. The both of them are going to carry out the task that they had planned. With a nod of the head, the silent Quatro was going to place a few illusions that looked like Elyx all over the island. This island was surrounded by the many illusions of him now, and they all looked so real. To add onto the effect, they would all be moving around the place, acting like an army would when preparing for war. The winds would then begin to gain in speed, preparing to knock them all out. The real one was hiding in the forest, looking to see what he can. Quatro in the meantime would his his abilities to allow Elyx to see past the trees and look around to see what was going on based on the reactions. The clones were looking good so far, prepared for anything, though they were not real and had little to no effect on the outcome of the weather. It was fine though, they were at least trying their best to take care of the job, not that they were needed so much for that purpose in the first place. With that out of the way, he would then notice something odd about them. They seemed a bit more braced. Yup, something in the wind was occurring, was growing stronger until… Lightning struck. It ran down in a nasty line so quickly and struck onto one of the illusions. This did nothing to it since it was a visual illusion, but it struck. The diversion was working! The illusions would begin to run away in many directions, but all of them to lead up to a certain point. Right in front of the real Elyx. The wind was slowly following them, since only so many pieces of it could follow the many versions of him all at once. Once that had been done, they would be a safe 100 meters away from him before they would then brace themselves once again. They did not know of their existences being illusions, and why did he have to tell them again? The wind was growing way stronger now, and it was beginning to actually cause some damage towards the trees. It seems to be angered by his existence. His light brown spikes of his hair would fly a little bit, and soon, they ended up being a rambled mess. The magic power that came out of it was just impossible to predict. Such a being existed in this world, and it had so much power, the power to affect other beings so much. It was something interesting, but unfortunately, it was going to have to be a meal, so the library was the best he could get when it comes to any historical information about it. What a shame, eh?

The King of Storms [Solo] Empty Re: The King of Storms [Solo]

The monster was there, it would begin to spiral itself upwards to form the wind tornado. It was more like an elemental, but this was the storm king, eh? That was going to be something for the record books, but he was prepared to take it on. Placing his palms out, he was ready to engage it. But before that, he would realize what he was doing wrong. The danger was near the town. If he ended up dropping the nuke, he would end up killing the town in the process, which went against the whole purpose of the job in the first place. So he was going to have to settle with running for now. Just so that they would make it towards the edge of the island, and then the both of them can continue their fight. Or if not, he was going to have to use force in order to push it back somehow. While it was still forming, he would take the chance to use the speed stealing ability of his, allowing him to move away from the being and around it. In doing so, he would allow himself to get away from the elemental king. It was not able to follow him while forming it seemed. All it could do was look at him with rock eyes, but that was about it. Yeah, that was not going to cut it alone. So with that in mind, he would just smile as the illusions would begin to follow him from behind. Yeah, he forgot that they were still there, but that did not matter too much now. They were able to give the being a trail of where he was going. If only they were able to make some form of noise, that would make things a lot easier. But it was fine that was it was, he had no right to complain in the first place. Looking back, he would see that it had still not come up to them. Instead, it decided to try to form itself before beginning the chase. That was an interesting tactic, letting the prey get away, if he was really the prey in the first place. Why did Elyx not try to eat it while it was right in front of him? How about the fact that it was just about going to damage the town if it resists? If it resisted, there were bound to be lightning bolts striking everywhere. Elyx himself was going to have a hard time with fighting it while trying to match the speed of lightning. While he could actually do it, it was not going to be easy. If anything, he would end up having to let it go for a bit before continuing to eat it. So much for having taken down whole. But maybe with the God Force, he would be able to resist against the damage. If not, then what much more could it do for him? Regardless, he had the speed, he just needed to make sure that he timed it right. Otherwise, it was going to send a whole island into the ocean.

A sudden shift in the wind blew, something much stronger than before. The winds were no longer that of a tropical storm, but a hurricane. It seems to want to play along with them now, and now that it was fully formed, it was able to attack them all at full force. However, the place was still not proper for them to end up in battle. Elyx knew that he was going to have to distract it so that the people of the town would not end up in danger. So as much as he would like to turn around and give the being a food fight, he was instead just going to keep running. Quatro no longer held the illusions of his being up, sending them away from the scene and probably not going to be sending them up for too long either. They did not need to trick any more enemies, all they needed to do was stoop a giant elemental. Sounded a lot easier than it actually was, and for good reason as well. With that, he would then make tit to the shore. The elemental was following him from behind, the winds sounding like that of a train. They were mighty, powerful, noisy, and overall a giant mess. Some trees were being taken down in ther process, so that was another element to be considered as well since it had that much power. How quickly would it send him into God Force anyways? He was about to find out. Looking around, he would find the raft that he used to get there in the first place. While he had a minute or two left, he knew that he was going to have to start collecting things from it. The ship was probably going to be a wreck by the time the both of them ended their fight, and it was not going to be a pretty result. It lasted long, but it was probably not going to survive. It was time he got a new one anyways, but nothing could replace the memories he had inside of it. Looking to Quatro, he would make one more illusion of the Guild Master, placing him by the edge of the shore and out back into the forest to distract the elemental while the real one would make his way into the ship to see what he was able to loot from it. Hopefully nothing too important would be inside of it. Elyx would make his way inside of it, jumping onto the wooden platform, nearly knocking it over to the side, which was a fortunate result since he would then loose the rope a bit, but it did not get onto the ocean yet. Maybe there was hope for saving it from sinking in the end. He’s quickly step on the boat to see what he was able to save before it all went crashing down. The first thing he needed to do was check the cabin where he was sleeping in. This made everything easier to handle now, knowing that most of the things inside of the cabin were important rather than anywhere else.

A humble little cabin it was, not too much was in it. The candles of the lacrima were still burning, but they were about to run out. They brought him no use, so he did not see any need in using them. The next thing was the two photos. The first was of him and Ignite, her just simply on his back while he was flailing his arms. She was definitely someone he cared for, despite how rough she was around the edges. It was something to keep. And the second being Allison, a being who was no longer in his life. Wherever she was, maybe he could find her again one day and hopefully reunite. So he would also keep the little photo of that as well. Next was the nightstand, there had to be something there of a good enough value. However, he would only find a few essentials that he needed back then, and maybe still did need as of right now, but would not carry out using so much anymore. There was a bottle of pain medicine, just in case someone would really jack him up. There was a bottle of headache medicine as well. But those were not things that he really needed, and if he did, he could have bought them elsewhere. Besides, there was the off chance that they were expired anyways, doing more damage to his body rather than any good. So that was a plus to it, he did not have to carry any extra luggage. Looking under his bed, he would suddenly hear lightning crackle, showing that the illusion had been found. The elemental was going to find out about the illusion soon and move on. Not too much time was left. Placing his palm out under the bed, he would try to reach for the items that could be there. As a kid, he would find some of the weirdest things in there, some he did not ever recall ever using. But he was also lucky enough to find a bag of jewels under it as well, so there was a chance of him doing the same back then and then falling off track. When he pulled onto something, he pulled out a familiar relic, the Mirrior Mask. This was an item that allowed him to take on the shape of any being he could imagine. This could be used to mess with Iza, since she seems to have no problems with messing with him. Plus, it was not even an illusion, it would allow him to physically take her form. It was going to definitely come with him. He remembered obtaining it with his mission with the little redhead. She was the only one who had been allowed on his boat, there was no way that this could have gotten there in any other way. The little thing was persistent and often insisted, it eventually became like a child version of Iza, except he could not quite argue back with her like he normally did with the Tanuki. At the end of the day, he recalled the memories. Allison was gone, and soon this ship will be as well.

That was what he was going to name the ship. Allison, it brought memories of her and how she was suddenly gone. If what anything Venir had to say was correct, it had been burned down, correct? Now that was something that he needed to look into a bit more. If Allison did die in that fire… Nah, he could not be thinking of such stupid things. He cursed himself for thinking that she would die, and to say it so loosely as well. But it was definitely a reality, and that was something he was going to have to investigate. The thing was, he never actually knew their location, nor did he have too9o many connections from there. Venir was the most likely to give him any information about it. Alyia was the second, depending on if she would even comply. Ignite was not there, so maybe that was going to eb a little incentive to just speak to him. Or she could just turn her head the other way and not do anything, in which he would then have to interrogate. No crime should go unpunished, and he was not going to let anything go away like that. Not when there was a little girl on the line. But that was the worst case scenario. Regardless, she was gone, whether she be alive or not. So he was going to name her Allison, the ship that had many memories. And it was then gone. With that, he would then look back to the cabin one more time. The water was beginning to get onto the surface of the floor, being high enough to overtake the ships walls. It was time for it to go into the ocean. Closing the door, it was a futile attempt at saving anything inside of it. But like all doors, this one had a little slip at the bottom, allowing any water to freely pass through under it. That was a sad reality to accept, but to let his emotions get in the way a of a job was nothing that he ever stood for. If he was able to do it while he was an A rank mage, or even a C rank one, he most certainly could do it now. He’s unzip his jacket before looking back to the shore, being rocked on the water as the rope was being let loose. The elemental was approaching, and now he was going to meet the Sky God Slayer of the world, and that said God Slayer is none too happy with leaving behind his ship in such a way. So many memories, only to have it destroy his one ship that gave him many blessings, now that was not something to be okay with. One more tree fell down before it would then land on the sand, revealing the two purple gems that were on the eyesockets of the being. The wind was in the generic shape of a tornado, spinning around at an insane speed before he would look back up at it. They were at deadlock, it was no longer a game of hide and go seek. Now it was war.

The battle was beginning, no words or anything. Closing his eyes, he would then re open them once again to show that anger in them, from the light brown shade they once were to a nasty shade of violet. The violet eyes glowed in the darkness, leaving a little trail behind as he would then begin to move, completely forgetting the battle plan that he made originally, too sneakily eat it. He was going to take it down one way or another, so screw a plan and everything it represented. The first step was to take it down with the contract of the Sky deity. It was a sphere of dark wind that would form in his hand, which was able to vibrate it and even destroy matter if push comes to shove. So he would open that battle with that, attempting to slam the palm against one of the diamond eyes. A barrier of wind would end up blocking his path at the end of it, preventing the ball of wind to getting at it. It was a useless attempt it seemed. The next step was to jump out and lash at it was a vicious nuke. It was going to have a nasty amount of impact. Before being given a chance however, it would launch a fist of wind towards him. Due to his physical power leeching ability, he would then return the favor by punching back at it, resulting in an explosive amount of force the destroyed the first and caused the Sky Slayer to slide back a little bit in response. The both of them were pretty well matched. This being was classified as an HJ rank one, and a 100 year job being to begin with. According to the details of the job, he did not have to kill it because it was that insanely powerful. But doing so would pay him a lot more than the original amount. With that and the boat of Allison being his motivation, he would open his eyes and have them shine even brighter, clicking his soles against the ground before raising the palm he used for the sphere again, making a huge disc of wind in it surrounded with the darkness of the slayer abilities. With that, it would spin quickly before he threw it towards the being, ready to cut it open from inside out. It was devastating to use, but full-well worth it. Placing the sphere out, the wind would be amplified to double in strength. But the barrier of wind that was not seemingly there would take care if it making it disappear. So that was it, he was unable to inflict any real damage with it. There was no way out actually getting to it with wind. The Celestial Spirits could help him, but one of them used wind. Virgo’s chains work on physical beings, and earth manipulation against wind was probably not the best case. While erosion as a thing, there was not too much time. And so he would then have one more key he could summon… Until he then remembered what he planned to do the first time around.

It was going to get eaten, right? If it’s body was made from wind, that just made it a tasty snack. His eyes were no longer half closed, but now completely open as he would then lick his lips in excitement. He was going to get a free meal while getting a huge lump of jewels in the process. How much better could this job get again? With that out of the way, he would then begin by breathing in a second fist that was headed for him, which was designed to inflict H rank damage onto his being. The wind that was eaten would enter his body, and he would just smile as it went through his digestive system. His heart was beating much faster than before, and he felt a sudden boost in energy. The wind itself tasted rather spicy in his opinion. Nothing too heavy, if anything, it tasted rather nice. With that out of the way, it was his turn to attack was it not? Before his opponent could get a second attack of wind to come out, the Wizard Saint would proceed to suck in the air once again, through his mouth of course. And in doing so, the wind that made up the body of the monster would begin to lure towards him. It resisted, pulling back the wind that was being used to eat it in the first place. It’s body strength was huge, it was much higher than Elyx’s own. However, to look all over that much mass, it would take and even bigger amount of energy to do. It was not that strong compared to him when he ate the wind, and so it would end up getting what it deserved. A while chunk of wind entered inside of his body, and the monsters own tasted more like an exciting candy. Like the pop candy that explode when it comes in contact with water and heat. It was sweet, yet explosive at the same time. And in doing so, the being would roar in pain before it would try to redirect three giant fists of wind towards him, each infused with lightning. Elyx knew that the lightning might make him feel a little bit ill, but Stella would appear by his side. And she was willing to protect him from the impact that could end up slaughtering his digestive system. So without giving them another thought, he would proceed to all three of them at the same time. The lightning made it extremely spicy, but the wind was able to soothe the flavor and make it die down to the original state it was in. Yes, he ate lightning while he was not even a Thunder Slayer. That was just amazing to him. In doing this, his eyes went from purple to yellow all of a sudden, prepared to activate God Force if needed. It was done, and he was able to enter the mode. In doing so, it could make him pay a heavy tax, and he would only have it for so much time. Was it worth it? Eh, in his opinion, not so much, so he held it back.

The paralysis was definitely strong on his body, it was making him move as if he were flinching. At some points, he was allowed to move, and at some points, he was not going to be able to. He felt a lot of tingling running through his body. It was not able to take care of Stella however, so there was a bit of hope. The Storm King was definitely not a character to be underestimated in a fighter. But neither was he. He did not think he would have to use a move such as this, but it was heavily needed. In order to do it, he was going to have to focus his magic on it. Closing his eyes, he would try to ignore the pain of the lightning that would pierce him from the inside, inflicting a lot of pain onto his body before he would then look up towards the being to see what it was doing. It had two fists of lightning, seems like it was beginning to see the problem now. The Wizard Saint would fight the lightning in him as much as he could, and with the final effect of the spell that he was planning to use, he would then have the effect of the spell lifted a little bit more. This was an S ranked paralysis it seemed, so it could only be nulled by a little bit, but that was pretty much it. With a smile on her face, Stella would then release the ability of the paralysis, giving Elyx movement once again before he slammed a palm against the ground once again, gaining his energy to move. Now that he was free to do whatever he wanted, and the elemental would be far too close for its safety to him. And he would end up placing his mouth against the wind in order to take in more of the wind, and it was far too close for it to even resist long enough. This time, the Reiaki took out a bigger chunk that the last time, and the winds only got stronger before he would then be in a struggle with it once again. His eye were glowing as he was eating more into the Storm king, taking another H rank worth of energy away from it before it would depart from him. The slayer would wipe his mouth as if he were a messy eater, smiling in the process. His eyes were still yellow, and a much more active shade as well. A little darker than the shade of yellow that he took before, it but was still yellow. With that, he would chuckle a little bit before lashing out towards his opponent with a smile on his face. It was a nice meal, and now it was his opponents turn to strike. Sadly, the healing he used had a cooldown, a pretty long one as well. This being was smart, hence why it was a king, so Elyx needed to make sure that he was extremely careful when approaching it. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would look up at it with that same smile.

It was his opponents turn to strike now. The two fists of lightning were still there, and now Elyx was able to fight back at it with the wind in his body. So he would take advantage, placing his palms out towards his opponents before they were both launched. A sudden new source of magic had been put in the same moment, and he would look up before jumping back. A lightning bolt would strike down from above where hw was once standing. That was a cute attempt, but to no avail. With a smile on his face, he would then jump out toward his opponent. More lightning bolts were coming for him, and he would just zig and zag to avoid the incoming attacks that was coming to try to strike him. Each one nearly made it, but they did not do the trick. In the end, the Reiaki would jump up right in front of the elemental, ready to attack it, only because he forgot to take care of the two fists of lightning, he would end up having his body slammed to the ground by the lightning fists and ended up being launched away. Stella was ready this time, so there was no paralysis, but there was most certainly some damage showing on his body. It was not too good, he was bleeding a little bit. The regeneration of the body however was able to take care of that, as his blood was beginning to clot once again due to the passive health gain. It was far too unfair since he also had a high amount of damage resistance against his opponents. They were not able to take care of him, and that was why he built the Sky Slayer build the way he did. He wanted to heal much more damage than he could take. With that, he was able to take the lightning, despite them having such a result from the fists of lightning. He remembered being so young, not even able to take any more damage than that when he was simply an A rank mage. Now he was taking it while not even sweating a little bit about how dangerous the being was. Lerale mages could possibly be this strong, if they were the leader. They were bound to S rank for some reason if he had to compare, yet it was treated as the second highest amount of power. The first being the H rank, which only the leader could obtain. Apparently some ritual needed to be done or something of that sort based on what he heard. Something weird like that. But in the end, he was able to gain more power. He was able to match the power of Cain, possibly even surpass him. When he learns of their whereabouts, maybe he and Adrelissa can return to see what really happened. Because now he was truly curious about the situation that happened. Why his girl was being tortured so suddenly after he ran away… That was something that was still messing with his head up to this day. And it was done. It was weird.

The both of them were going at it. And it was a tough battle for sure, Elyx had to admit that much if he could not give anything else to it. It was an opponent that while very big, also knew how to think against this opponent. However, Elyx himself also knew how to think against an opponent, and he had a much bigger opponent to hit as well. The both of them are really going at it at the dance. One thing that Elyx was able to pick up were the colors. The blue attacks had wind, and he was able to eat them to avoid them. The yellow ones were lightning, something that he was not able to fight against. Because of this, he was only going to end up avoiding them or somehow fighting through them, which has been proven to be extremely difficult as well. Elyx was not going to fight with wind though. He knew that any of his wind attacks would only go up against a barrier that was not going to take in any of the attacks. Maybe fighting it was not going to be a good idea. In doing so, he would end up only hurting himself. He proved that in the last round when he got slammed against the ground due to the fist of lightning that brought him down to the unfortunate state that he had been shot down to. Placing his body back up from the ground, he would snarl, not taking the hit so well. Mentally at least, he was fine physically. It was time to rip out another piece of it. There were more bolts of lightning shooting, and he would quickly blur out of sight away from them. Because of this, he would then end up activating the immunity and the physical force steal to see one of the predictable lightning bolts coming. With precise timing, he would end up grabbing the bolt of lightning by the hand, and then throw it quickly at his opponent. It was a natural lightning bolt, so it was able to strike at a devastating speed of 1000th of a second. In doing so, the enemy would be rocked rather quickly by the impact and flailing the wind arms that it had. It would roar mightily in pain before the slayer would approach it. It would end up having a bit more of it’s body sucked away from the slayer, who took advantage of this. The elemental body was beginning to get weakened, the third attack being able to take a toll. And the adrenaline was running extremely fast through his body. It was able to help him out with this fight. The young mage would jump back to quickly avoid another bolt of lightning that suddenly came. He would continue jumping back since he was caught in a barrage of lightning. And in doing so, he would end up back to where he started. It was all working in his favor now, but now it was his opponents turn to attack, so anything can change. So he would then place his palms up, ready to impact.

It was all going to work out in the end, he was sure of it. He did not know how long this had to last, but he knew that he was not going to be running out of energy any time soon. So this was going to be how it goes. If he was able to continue eating, he would gain much more energy. And the more energy he was able to get, he would be able to continue fighting. The monster left a lo9t of openings especially considering he was only making himself a bigger target. The elemental was going to have to focus on a smaller target. However, if it were able to figure out that he was able to use the abilities with a lot of range, maybe it could begin blocking. The one thing that Elyx noticed that the monster did not notice was that it did not use attacks that had a lot of range. An A.o.E spell they call it. And it was able to do a lot of damage, or catch one very speedy opponent for a good amount of time. Placing his palms out, he would then prepare to defend himself. The elemental would suddenly have blue magic flowing through it’s body, meaning that it was planning to carry out a wind attack, sweet, a free meal. Knowing this, he would be ready to catch the meal whenever it was ready for him to eat, opening his mouth and ready to inhale the wind. However, the wind slammed against the ground, a giant amount of sand flying into the air before the wind that had been used to lift it would fire a lot of sand towards him. In return, the Sky slayer would place out his palms, moving in a quick circle and blocking himself from the attack. So he truied to block, and the sand would be sent flying away. The being was trying to get him to fall to the sand, probably with sand to the eyes and then it would strike. This had been confirmed, a lightning bolt struck onto the barrier he made, but it was not able to do the trick. It did not break to anything. Once that was done, he would then place himself back onto the ground, smiling before he would then place himself onto the ground from being so dizzy, his palms against the ground, but his knees refused to even tap it. It was just a little bit of a break for him before he gained his leverage once again. It was a beautiful result, he was able to take down the enemy now that it was his turn to attack the enemy. Looking up, he would see that his opponent was lacking the energy to keep on going. If he dared to try to fight him, they were not going to have a pretty result for the monster. But it was a monster, regardless of how smart it was. And the legend was being broken right now, Elyx was ready to seal it back to the original non existent state that it was, where it was only a story.

Now it was the Sky slayers move, and he was not planning to waste the slightest second. The wind around him would give him a little boost before he then charged towards the opponent. The sand was slowing him down a little bit, but it was only now that he realized it. It also left a bit of a trace when it came to him being in a battle state. Three moves, and the steps all looked the same. Since all of these required him to move, the monster was able to see what was on the ground and what it was able to do to him because of those marks. These were things that need to be thought of in battle, and the Wizard Saint seems to have not noticed that. As his punishment, the monster was able to see after three times where he was going to attack from. To make it look like it was trying, it would just send aimless amounts of lightning bolts toward s him. Unfortunately, Elyx had been fooled and would take the bait, running the same path he did before then approaching the stomach of his opponent. The elemental would quickly strike two bolts from the sides without even considering the chances that this was a Sky Slayer being talked about. Elyx was able to ignore the damage that had been done to him. Two lightning bolts would strike his sides, but due to him being unable to take any knockback, he will not be forced away from his current state. Due to this, he was able to continue eating from the body. This surprise was something that the elemental had not been expecting, and it would try to resist, but only a bit of hope for it came after another H rank worth of damage had been inflicted onto it, lowering its health by that much and not allowing it to continue on a good stand anymore. It was nearing the ending point, but it was still standing strong. It was able to finally push away from him after a little bit of time had passed, about a minute. The Reiaki was able to fool his opponent with his abilities. How could one take down someone who was not able to even take knockback? This was a little bit of an act, but it was full well worth it. The moment he had been struck with the fists of lightning, they were not able to actually launch him back. He himself needed to launch himself back. So he would press his body against it like a spring before launching himself away from the attack, a smile on his face as he would then place himself against the ground. It took a bit of thinking, but he was able to pull it off and had a reason to act enraged at his opponent. It did not see that he was thinking a little bit ahead. Not too much, but enough steps away from the original plan that he had. And if he were able to stick ahead, the many surprises he had could work. Only time can tell.
