The Celestial Spirit Aphrodite, who was categorized as a Primal Celestial, has taken residence within Albafica's body and guides the youngster with the knowledge he acquired. If Albafica dons Aphrodite's golden armor -The Pisces Gold Cloth- Aphrodite can take control of Alba's body, growing it into that of an adult upon transmission. When in dire need however, the Celestial Spirit can force a take-over of his vessel.
Mark of the Rose
He has a large tattoo stretching on his lower back, depicting a rose, whilst on his right arm a tattooed string of red thorns seems to crawl down from his shoulder. The tattoo itself was burnt into his skin upon birth, the ink proclaimed to contain his deceased parent’s blood and to keep the ‘curse of heritage’ of spreading within the child.
Heterochromian Insignia
Although not born with this condition, after receiving his guildmark Albafica's left eye will adapt to his guildmark's color, coloring it crimson red in the progress. Whenever Aphrodite takes over Albafica's body, both his eyes may color crimson, although this tends to happen less than in Albafica's regular form.
Personality:
Albafica’s personality isn’t one like many would think it to be; due to Aphrodite’s influences his look on certain things is far more mature than one would expect from a 10 year-old child. Without being provoked, Albafica is actually a gentle and friendly child; be it that he’s a bit of a loner and became afraid of getting close to people after receiving his magic from his master. Since his magic rendered him poisonous to every creature capable of breathing, and over time even lethal, he dislikes for others to get close to him, only because he doesn’t want to hurt them. He’ll usually acts cold against those getting to close to him, telling them the opposite of what he feels and thus making him look rather haughty, eve, though this is not what he’s trying to achieve. He however will accept people hating and shunning him if it can keep them out of harm’s way, even if the only thing he really wants is to be loved and cared for.
During Battles; Albafica usually takes on the ways his master taught him, mixed with the attitude Aphrodite forced unto him. Albafica sees battles as a way of measuring one’s strength, as well as a way of getting to know one another; there’s more to be learnt from an exchange of fists powered by one’s ideals than empty words. As long as the battle or fight he’s engaged in doesn’t have his or someone else’s life on the line, the youngster will stay friendly towards his opponent, be they friend or foe. Refraining from utilising lethal attacks, Albafica will fight gracefully, especially during close combat. His movements are swift, light but certain to strike, and use quite a few acrobatic movements, allowing for a variety of ranges and heights to be used during battle. He doesn’t fight dirty, not even in a life and death situation, but will start to experience the battle differently when driven into a corner. He usually gets rather cocky and self-confident during fights, and the weaker his opponent acts, the worse this attitude gets. Try getting this child to feel threatened, his friendly attitude will vanish and take a 180 degree turn, with Aphrodite’s influence to thank for that.
Those who still manage to anger Albafica will remember not to do so again, that being said, if they survive this child's torturing. Known for his cruelty in his previous life, Aphrodite isn't as sadistic as he claims himself to be, but still passed this trait on to little Albafica, forcing him to show no mercy whatsoever when the situation called for it. This reflects in his fighting, which becomes more brutal, crueler and keen on actually hurting the opponent just to see them suffer. He becomes ruthless, seeing his opponent as someone not worthy to be kept alive, and will thus see to it that he/she does not leave the battle alive.
He sometimes even has this whenever encountering someone weak, or when being ordered by his master to take care of someone. He feels the weak are not worthy of living if they don’t want to become stronger and will thus kill them to help them out of their misery; in his eyes, the immediate kill can be seen as an act of mercy; to others as an act of torture. Through Aphrodite’s teaching, Albafica came to believe that power is the only way to keep order and assure justice. Subscribing to this theory, he believes the stronger is allowed to rule over the weak.
Outside of Battles; Although cruel and ruthless, when not engaged in combat Albafica remains serene and calm, even gentle and caring to those that piqued his curiosity.To those he found worthy of his trust, Albafica will be a steadfast and loyal companion, willing to destroy any who dare cross the idealsof his or his friend's ways. He’s loyal to such extends that this child can even turn against his sworn brethren if demanded so by the one he swore loyalty to. For said person, no matter what their goals or affiliations are, Albafica will do his utmost best to live up to the expectations, and do their every bidding. Albafica is often mistaken for a girl,( and when in adult form as a woman) due to his slender appearance and feminine facial features. Nonetheless, he takes this as a compliment, and doesn't see harm in being called so. As a last point, the recurring motif for fighting within this young child is that he considers victory as the greatest beauty of all and, therefore, believes what makes him really beautiful would not be his physique, but absolute power.
To lead and follow: Albafica always had a serving role, ever since he was taken in and raised by his master, he learnt to be humble, loyal and persevering. He never learnt to lead, and Aphrodite has been trying to let the youngster see the potential he has for leading others ever since they started wandering. Had it not been for the years of solitude alongside his master, Albafica would've been a fine leader, as he has the confidence, sharp senses, will and strength to make it happen.
Likes:
|| Fauna and Flora ||
Being the young child he is, Alba loves any kind of wildlife and plants he can lay his eyes upon, even if said wildlife doesn't like him that much in return. One type of plant he likes in particular; the Royal Demon Rose, a lethal poisonous rose he came in contact with when but a newborn, and is immune against.
|| Indiscriminative ||
Whether one is his friend or his foe, Albafica will make no difference in the way he treats them, and will even help those of the opposite alignment as long as they aren't after his life or that of his friends.
|| Outcasts ||
Having been traveling all alone for a few years now gave him an odd liking to those shunned or cast out of society. This doesn't stop at humans, but plants as well; anything solitary will grab his attention. He'll do his very best to learn more about said person or plant, even if it means sticking around till eternity.
|| Powerhouse ||
Through the influence and teachings of Aphrodite, Albafica has become incredibly fond of those that are abnormally strong. So much even that the child will stop whatever it is doing to follow said person around, to such extends that it greatly surpasses his stubbornness in learning more about outcasts.
|| Celestials ||
This may rather be something that Aphrodite likes; as a Celestial cast from the Celestial Realm, Aphrodite still finds others of his kin intriguing, and told Alba to have utmost respect for these beings were he ever to come across one.
|| Beauty in Countless Forms ||
As it says, the child has a keen eye for beauty and appreciates the sight of it; yet this isn't merely physical beauty, but fighting prowess as well. Albafica sees true beauty in absolute power, and is often left mesmerized whenever confronted with it.
Dislikes:
|| Mockery ||
Although still young, Albafica can't take it when someone mocks his being or his prowess. Mocking those he views as comrades or even family will tick him off, making him quite aggressive towards the one mocking them.
|| Right to Rule ||
Albafica greatly dislikes those who try to rule over others without having the means to back it up; rather, he finds that those who haven't shown that they have enough power, and thus are considered weak in his eyes, shouldn't be allowed to rule over the strong and powerful.
|| Disloyalty ||
Once chosen, he will not change his alignment or affiliation whatsoever, unless ordered so by the one he vowed loyalty to. Not only valuing his own loyalty, he does so for others as well, and will not allow others to break their bonds of loyalty, even if they are complete strangers to him.
Motivations:
|| My True Goal ||
Becoming one of the strongest, if possible even THE strongest, mage ever known to mankind. Believing that true beauty lies not in physical form but in one's absolute power, he aspires to become the strongest, and thus the most beautiful being.
|| Where I Truly Belong ||
Being orphaned soon after birth, the youngster hopes to find people he can call his friends, or even better, a group that makes him feel like he belongs with them, a family to call his own.
|| This Deadly Bond of Mine ||
As his magic demands of him, once he finds a suitable successor, he will train said person and pass on to them the one magic he possesses, and with it all the spells and secrets it holds. Just as his master before him, he will grant his life so his successor may possess this magic; were said person to fail, he will search on endlessly until someone is capable to bear his poison and overcome it.
|| A Lonely Path ||
Unlike his predecessors, who had been bound to a life of solitude due to their magic's poisonous roots, he aspires to overcome that lethal flaw and walk amongst those he loves. To stand beside others without having to carry the burden that he may unconsciously kill them if they draw too near. He knows there is a way to cure his lethal blood, yet has still to discover the path that leads to it.
Fears:
|| Powerless Display ||
The fear of never being able to grow stronger, and being known as a weakling. More than anything in the world, the inability to complete his one and only goal in life would be the death of him.
|| Procession of Funeral Roses ||
Being unable to pass on his master's ways and see the generations-long line of magic that was passed down to him perish with his person.
|| Protection of Sougyokyuu||
Sougyokyuu, known as the Temple of the Twin Fish and the area where Albafica was trained by his late master was entrusted to him to defend. To see the temple becoming defiled by heathen hands, and thus breaking the promise he made his master to guard it at all costs, would break this young child, as it was one of the last tasks his master ordered him to fulfil.
General Appearance

1.20m || 1.82m
Weight:
30kg || 70kg
Hair:
Turquoise
Eyes:
Deep Blue
Skin Tone:
Pale
Appearance:
A slender and rather frail youth of exceedingly small height, even for his age. His body looks like he's been on the edge of starving, although the boy has gotten his three meals a day AND extra's throughout his life, despite being an orphan. The rigid and harsh trainings do not show upon the boy's figure, his strength is average, and his skin on the pale side, despite having spend most of his time outdoors. His slim posture, as well as his round yet slender facial features and his long wavy turquoise-shaded hair make him look rather girly; even his big bright deep blue bright, shining like sapphire gems within the marble platform that is his round face, make people believe he is female rather than male.
His wardrobe could be considered humble and convenient, but might be seen as poor and simple by others. A simple pair of clean, sand-coloured trousers; more keen on hiding the dusty marks of his training rather than being à la mode. A similarly coloured short-sleeved tunic hangs loosely upon his shoulders, strapped together by a thick leather mid-waist band that easily bends and forms whenever its wearer moves about, hardly slowing him down. The tunic has the size of an oversized shirt to the young boy, and has a ragged v-neck. Bandages haven been wrapped around his lower arms and legs, the arms have 3 inch leather skin-tight arm guards, whilst the bandaged legs are adorned with sturdy strapped leather boots.
When Aphrodite comes into play however, his appearance changes drastically, and at the same time stays quite the same. Albafica bears great resemblance to Aphrodite’s mortal form, if not to say that he may as well be an exact copy of the Primal Celestial. Said to have been a man of peerless beauty and elegance in his life prior to becoming a Celestial, Aphrodite’s title as such isn't undone when allowing the youth to age his body to his 23rd year. A lean stature, adorned with slightly buffed shoulders and muscular torso despite not looking as such, and a fair skin edging more to a tanned tone in colour.
Aphrodite's Gold Cloth, which was the symbol of his strength and status in his previous life, has been passed down to Albafica, who seems to resonate with the divine armor. The armor's entirely made out of non-earthly metals, apparently a multitude of meteor shards, said to have come from every star in the Pisces Constellation. The durability of this armor is rather rare, as it is not destroyed upon breaking but disperses and regenerates after sufficient time has passed. It’s coloured entirely in gold, with brighter golden trimmings on the shoulders, leg-pieces, gauntlets, helmets and entire torso. His arms, ankles, tights and helmets have fin-like extensions on them, and upon the different parts pale ornamental symbols have been burnt, giving for a rather extravagant and eye-catching look. The Gold cloth covers nearly his entire body, whereas the helmet can be added to the rest of the armor, but is not necessary to complete the entirety of the gold cloth. When wearing Aphrodite’s Gold Cloth, Albafica often adorns a white cloak that grazes the ground, and is mostly seen without helmet, as the youngster finds it blocking his sight. Whether he finds the helmet too ridiculous to wear and thus tells Aphrodite otherwise is a publicly know secret to those who've knowledge of these cloths.
After enough power is displayed, the Gold Cloth may undergo an abrupt, temporary transformation, though this is yet to be confirmed by both Aphrodite or Albafica.
