- Job Title: iLac
Rank: D Rank
Player Requirements: Any Rank
Job Requirements: 500 words per player
Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.
Reward: 1x iLac for everyone
iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.
The screech of tires from Sophia's newly designed vehicle could be heard as she had just finished doing a rather dangerous way to parallel park in front of the new Ilac factory. Today was not much of a job, but rather a pick-up, simply because she was too bothered to wait for the mail to occur. Then again, she was more interested in just picking up the device for random reasons in the first place. First and foremost, the device was primative to her own communication technology back at home, however it allowed a special wireless and roaming application that she couldn't pull off, at least till she got home and dissected the damn thing.
"Sophia?" A man standing near the entrance would question not because of the rash driving, but because they were expecting multiple people today.
"Of course". Keeping her own reply short as she stepped out of the vehicle. Her attire quite revealing as she had on quite the unusual clothing today. More dressed to be out sun-baking rather than out working. Though this choice of clothing, or rather lack of most clothing, would only make the pick-up much easier as the man seemed to enjoy the sight before leading Sophia into the building. Typically they would bring out the Ilac to her, but lets face it. This was done in this way, strictly so he could watch Sophia more.
While Sophia had not only just planned this, she also knew it would speed the process up. Ensuring that once she acquired the device, she'd be able to emp the entire area, and prevent any cameras that caught her physique. Though the Ilac would pose a problem... oh lovely, something she didn't plan. Oh well, looks like a free show for the guys in the back room of security. Once she even realized this, she turned her head towards a camera and winked while walking, only to keep going and be led to the room where all the Ilac were. Oh, and one other problem she didn't think of, was the blasted anti-magical zone she was in. This anti-magic was truly such an annoyance that she wanted to research it and perhaps make use of it later. Not to limit her own, but perhaps limit another's magic. it'd allow non-lethal capture a lot easier, and lets face it... magic vs non-magic means one sided since who ever doesn't use magic is just simply weak compared to one who does.
Finally receiving her Ilac, sophia would be out the door and into her vehicle faster than she had entered the building in the first place The burning of the tires on the gravel road as she sped away indicated how much of a hurry she was as the dirt behind her vehicle picked up. This neutral grounds was the entire reason she even brought the vehicle, rather than using her typical lightning transportation spell. Once again.... stupid magical nullification technology. she not just hated it, but wanted it. Perhaps she'd run a few tests and eventually bring her results to Aiyana. Knowing her guild master after all, they could help take the research to the next level, and perhaps go country wide with such a theory... tests must be done.
