Personality: Delilah is a fairly outgoing and friendly girl. She likes to start conversations, and is always willing to listen to people. She is honest, fiercely loyal, loving, and protective of her friends. She is bold, often saying what's on her mind without really thinking about it first, but she is rarely rude, to people if she can help it, usually only speaking aggressively if provoked by similar actions. She has a bad habit of forming 'friendships' and crushes on people she's just met, or that she hardly knows, due to her kind and loving nature. That doesn't mean she's some perfect star child that's always nice to everyone, though. It is possible to get on her bad side, or simply rub her the wrong way, in which case she is likely to ignore you or simply tell you to go away. At times like this, she becomes very stand-offish, frequently disagreeing with or going against the subject of her ire with little to no reason at all, even if they're right. The one thing that never changes is that she will never betray a friend, however foolish or harmful it could be she will stand by them through the worst of troubles (though this level of loyalty is only afforded to true friends and guild mates, not just some stranger that she takes a liking to). Despite her seemingly reckless and air-headed nature on the day-to-day, she is actually a very thoughtful and intelligent person, usually thinking through each of her actions -- though not her words -- much more carefully than she lets on. This is doubly so for her during combat.

In combat, Delilah becomes completely focused, shedding her usually cheerful nature in favor of a much more businesslike approach. She is constantly thinking in combat, to the point that it can become overwhelming even for herself (at which point she usually has to take a break, run away, or rely entirely on her allies for support). The level of thought that goes into her actions at this point is staggering, compared to the average joe in a street fight, as if she's thinking faster than the rest of the world is moving, though this does nothing for her actual speed or reaction time. She's constantly thinking of creative ways to use her magic and the environment around her, observing her opponent(s) for possible weaknesses or flaws in their combat style, and keeping an eye on her allies to make sure they stay safe all at once. The major downside to this style of fighting would be simply that, while thinking of all these things, it's easy to overlook the simple stuff, like footing or active field effects. Even more so, it is difficult to maintain that level of cognitive function for long, and she has a tendency to try to do everything by herself, or put herself in harms way to protect her allies even if they wouldn't have needed it. All in all, despite her impressive ability to think on her feet, she falls short in terms of wisdom in battle.

Delilah is a much better leader than follower. When in a position to follow someone else, she often ignores commands when she doesn't understand the reason for them, instead choosing to initiate a 'better' plan by herself. She breaks off from the group a lot, and doesn't understand how her actions could affect the rest of the team; she expects the leader to compensate for these issues, rather than fixing them herself. On the other hand, when in a leadership role, she feels the full weight of her responsibility to the team, and all of these careless behaviors become reversed, or simply altered to be beneficial. Instead of ignoring commands, she listens carefully to her team's input and legitimately considers their ideas, rather than simply enforcing her own methods. Instead of breaking off from the group, she leads the pack, always walking into a room first and taking the front line in a battle, crossing the incredibly dangerous bridge first to make sure it's safe enough to walk on, etc. She thinks things through carefully, but is decisive when she needs to be, and she becomes much more wise during combat, knowing that every foolish mistake she makes could cost her friends their lives. She understands how her actions affect others, and makes an effort to understand her team and their limits. In the end, it's sort of ironic, because she becomes an almost ideal leader, and her flaws in combat are negated by putting a huge weight of responsibility on her, but due to the nature of her flaws, it's unlikely she would ever be put in a leadership position, so very few people know her true potential.

Likes:

• Meeting New People: Delilah likes to meet new people and make friends, because surrounding herself with people she loves makes her happy. Plus, if the new people that she meets turn out to suck, she might still have an interesting story about it later.
  
• Learning: Because knowing is half the battle. Delilah likes to not only remember, but truly understand a variety of concepts, because it can come in handy much more often than you might think.
  
• Playing Music: Whether it's singing, playing guitar, or just lifting her shirt a bit and drumming on her belly, Delilah loves to play music. It doesn't matter if anybody is listening, and in fact, she probably wouldn't drum on her belly if she knew anyone was listening. She does prefer to have an audience when she plays guitar, and it often helps make friends, or attract a possible "significant other", but she is actually fairly shy about her singing voice and rarely sings in front of people.
  
• Romance Novels: Honestly, if you have to ask why she likes these, she probably would just stare at you, slightly confused. But, for the sake of consistency, Delilah likes romance novels and stories because she is, herself, a bit of a romantic, and feels desperately lonely in a way that friendship cannot fix. So she reads romance novels to feel less lonely by putting herself in the shoes of her favorite characters.
  
• Going To Parties: Delilah likes going to parties, because it's a great way to meet new people, possibly even fall in love, or simply have a good audience for her music.
  

Dislikes:

• Being 'Led': Delilah doesn't like being in a position where she has a 'leader', mostly because she is very free-spirited and doesn't like to follow orders, but also because she usually winds up disagreeing with them, or not trusting their judgment, despite knowing that she is far from infallible. This is not something she can't get past, though. In fact, she frequently looks past her distaste for being ordered around, and even allows higher ranking mages in her guild to request things of her. Plus, doing missions would be difficult if she couldn't follow orders, she just doesn't have to like doing it. The level of distaste she holds for being told what to do ranges from a mere 'ugh, alright', to a tsundere-style 'jeez, it's not like I wanted to do this or anything', to outright refusal, depending on her level of interest in doing what is asked of her versus potential reward. Ironically, due to he helpful and loving nature, if you merely phrase orders as requests, she usually winds up following them anyway.
  
• People Who Abuse Power: Whether its because you have a really powerful magic, or you're physically strong, or you simply have a lot of political power, it's all the same. If you abuse your power to hurt and manipulate and force innocent people, you're basically the worst.
  
• Fighting: No matter how good she gets at it, and no matter how seriously she takes it, Delilah will never enjoy the act of fighting. It's just not pleasant. She's not the best with diplomacy, so she usually winds up having to fight, because she usually refuses to flee or back down, but that only makes her like it less.
  
• Hot Weather: Humid weather too. Delilah likes to be able to bundle up and hug and cuddle without having to worry about getting sweaty and gross.
  

Motivations:

• Leadership: She'd never admit it, but she likes being in charge. The responsibilities, though heavy and often overbearing, don't bother her that much in the end. She wants to be strong, in charge, and able to protect everyone she loves.
  
• Love: As stated before, she's a lonely, desperate romantic. As such, if only to get rid of those terrible feelings of loneliness, she wants to fall in love.
  
• Recognition: One day, Delilah wants to be famous enough to be recognized by total strangers in public, whether its for her magic prowess or magely achievements, or simply for her looks and/or ability to play the guitar.
  

Fears:

• Being Completely Alone: No friends, no family, no love. This would be the worst existence, in her mind, and she would do anything to avoid it, even if that meant dying.
  
• Power: She gains power out of necessity to protect her friends, gain recognition, and become a leader one day, but Delilah is secretly horrified that she will one day become an inconsiderate tyrant that abuses her own power.
  
• Singing: She loves to sing, but she's always nervous and scared, because she is horribly insecure about her voice, and is scared of being told that she has a bad singing voice.
  
• Dogs: Sure, they're cute. But they're also vicious hunters, pack animals, and it really hurts when they bite. Bloodthirsty creatures, dogs.

Skin Tone: Nearly perfect complexion, slightly cream colored skin.
Appearance: Delilah is a voluptuous young woman, not overly skinny but not pudgy either, and not very toned. She's just smooth all over, flat belly, bold curves and no acne or scarring. She wears a small diamond stud in her belly button, and usually chooses to leave her midriff exposed, at least enough to show her navel. She wears a blue ribbon in her hair, to help keep it out of her face, and a pair of black fingerless gloves. She also wears a white partial sleeve on her left arm that runs from just below her shoulder to mid-forearm. She wears a tank top that is black on top, but white on the bottom, which only goes down to a couple inches past her bust line, so her chest is completely covered. For legwear, she almost always opts for a pair of black short shorts, the kind that are only a few inches long, but still cover everything up, as well as a pair of thigh-high black and white striped socks and a simple pair of black leather boots with a very slight heel.
