The young adult walked the streets of Motor City, it was a rather gloomy day today, a very large overhang of dark storm clouds over the city. Just taunting the city, saying that it looks like its going to rain, without it actually doing so. Though the green haired teen didn't mind all that much, not at all actually, it cause it so the sun wasn't shining it's bright rays down on him. Being a photophobic person, not that he was afraid of the sun, it's that the sun and any light, hurt and irritated his eyes, but mostly hurt. It was a condition he has always had, ever since he was born, it was a thing that all heir's to the flute had. His father had it also, just, not as severely as Lucius. Really he was only doing this cause it would legally get him a driver's license, it's weird to think that a dark mage would want something legally. Lucius has his reasoning though, when he is trying to act like a normal person, he would have to have everything legally. He had already gotten a passport a while back with his sister, so how hard would this be compared to that?

After making his way through the streets for a good while, he found the building of which he would earn his license. It wouldn't be to hard for the assassin, he has drove cars a lot already, not that any of those time were legal. But what do you expect from someone of his kind? Crossing the street, he pushed open the doors and walked in, having to duck under the door frame due to his tall stature. Looking around, it was a rather busy day, but wasn't all that bad. Well besides the line, it was extensively long. Letting out an exaggerated sigh he placed himself at the end of the extremely long line, knowing that it would be a while he pulled out a book from his pocket and started to read. Reading this as the line slowly, slowly, got smaller. He was able to finish this one book and another, before even getting to the end of it.
It had been two hours, and it was finally his turn. The clerk at the desk was rather unamused, looking like they were tired of this job and just wanted to go home. Something Lucius didn't really understand, why did people constantly do their jobs, if they where so tired of doing them? Getting this thought interrupted when the heavyset man at the desk spoke to him "You'll be getting your driver's license, right?" he asked the assassin in a rather apathetic tone. "Correct" he answered as politely as he could, considering his own mood. "Your driving instructor is over there" he said, pointing over to the figure off to the right "Thank you" the young dark mage said before walking away. Hearing the clerk yell 'next' as he did so, as politely as he could he greeted his instructor. "Hello, my name is Lucius Foss"

Hearing his introduction the man just said in reply "Yeah, yeah. Quit the formalities and let's get this over with" he said, glaring up at the tall seventeen year old. "Yes sir" he said to the veteran driving instructor before following him out to the car that they would be using. It was a tiny white car with a 'Caution: Student Driver' on the back, walking over he let out a quiet sigh and opened the driver's side door. Not that he was stressed about getting it right or not, cause he knew he would, it was just the fact of this tiny car. He was six feet and ten inches, and had a very hard time fitting comfortably into these damn things. Opening the door he climbed it, practically bending in half to do so. Adjusting the seat back so it was a little bit better, he put his feet on the pedals. Catching the keys thrown at him by his instructor, quickly buckling himself up, he placed the keys in the ignition and started it. Driving to the exit he waited instructions from the man beside him "Turn left" he said. Not saying anything he turned on the blinker and waited awhile before he could finally turn out of the parking lot. Driving along, the teacher gave him things to do, and he followed it to the letter. He hasn't even driven that much before, but he has, he didn't have to do something to much before practically mastering it. Well with the acceptation of a select few things. The teacher judged is actions harshly, writing his criticisms on his papers that where held by a clip board.  Telling him to different things such as three-point, two point, u-turn, or whatever else type turning that you could possibly do in a car.
Finishing up they drove back, parking, he waited for the man to speak. Staring over at him with his blue eyes, blinking a few times before the instructor said anything "You did alright, no mistakes, surprisingly enough. Good job, you pass, or whatever you want me to say to make you happy. Get inside and get your damn license" smiling, trying to not show his conceitedness, he threw the keys back at the man and left the car. Walking back inside the building he got his pictures taken, and all that stuff. Receiving his license he wasn't all that excited, I mean, he knew he would get it. He was just that good, even if he had the most strict person as his driving teacher. After getting what he wanted, he left the building and walked away.
