Job Title: The Ragged One
Rank: D
Player Requirements: D-rank magi; must be a part of Fairy Tail. The thread must be 20 posts long, 200 words per post. Can be completed only once. Must be soloed.
Job Requirements: At least 1 D-rank magus to attend the job; however, higher ranked magi can take the mission for plot details or character development. Any who take this mission must learn to utilize nature around them in order to survive the harsh lands of their new home. Weapons, items, and armor cannot be used on the mission, with the exception of holder magic requiring the weapon/item/armor. Pets may not attend with the magus, as this is a test to the strength of the magus who chooses to do this job. This job can only be taken once by any magi that is in Fairy Tail; once completed, the job cannot be done again. Five (5) monster dice must be rolled throughout the thread.
Job Location: Tetsukazu
Job Description: As a test of your strength, your Guild Master has set up a series of obstacles that you must get through in order to complete the mission. Upon taking this mission, you will be sent off to an uncharted location in Tetsukazu alone, where you must learn to survive. You are not given anything to help you survive; your weapons, armor, and items that you have on you will be taken from you and your pet cannot attend. This mission is to assure that you're fit to stay within the guild and that you will grow to be a formidable foe on Earthland. Tetsukazu holds many dangers within its world, most of which are unknown to any magi not familiar with the planet. Because of this, it has been known that magi who taken this mission often do not return from the mission in one piece or at all. It is your task to prove to your guild master that you are able to survive on your own with only your bare hands and nature as your mistress.
Enemies:
Weak: Greererpeton x10: These are eel-like creatures that live in the surrounding ponds and lakes of the location you are set in. They have elongated bodies that allow them to swiftly swim through the water and short limbs that give them access to land. Noted for being carnivorous creatures, Greererpeton are not uncommon to the idea of eating a few magi for a meal. However, they are rather small, reaching out to only 4.9 feet in length, but have jaws as strong as an alligator and can move up to half the speed of a cheetah. While they rarely ever go onto land without a purpose, if their mating grounds have been disturbed, they'll attack. It's speculated that they have an electric current that runs through their body as well, capable of dealing D-rank damage if zapped by it. Due to their swiftness, Greererpeton take about four (4) D-rank hits to bring down and are a great source of meat.
Normal: Colosteus x10: Often mistaken for Komodo Dragons, these lizard-like creatures are cousins to the modern dragon cousin of Fiore. Much like the Greererpeton, they are creatures with elongated bodies that are used to swim easily through waters. However, they have more well-developed limbs that allow for them to stay on dry land for longer amounts of time, as well as move faster. These reptilians have sharp teeth hidden in their maw, teeth that are capable of tearing into the flesh of a magus meal. Their jaws are just as strong, if not stronger, than an alligator and will cling on once they have gotten a hold of you. Likewise, they retain that electric current through their body like the Greererpeton, able to deal D-rank damage with the electricity. As these are more powerful land reptilians to the Greererpeton, they take around six (6) D-rank hits to bring down and are a great source of meat.
Strong: Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensis x5: These are the bad-ass insects of the Tetsukazu realm, reaching an upward of two (2) or three (3) feet in length. They are what modern Earthlanders call scorpions; however, these are much more deadlier scorpions than Earthland's kind. Identical to what modern scorpions look like, except only on a larger scale, their venom is far more toxic than normal. A single sting from one of these puppies and you can find yourself in the hospital, fighting the battle of your life. In some cases, these creatures have been known to kill magi with just one stab of their stinger, but once that stinger is gone, they die. Their pincers are just as deadly as well, able to deal C-rank melee damage with their pincers alone, but C-rank spell damage with their venom. It takes an upward of ten (10) D-rank hits to make these babies go down and it is advised not to eat them, but the venom makes a great weapon.
Boss: If a boss is rolled, it turns into two strong.
Reward: 4,000J
