Job Title: The Last Hero is Born
Rank: S
Player Requirements: Hero only; Solo only; Plot-specific; Word Count total for the thread must be at least 15,000 words.
Job Requirements: Complete each Gods' trials; each will be unique to that God. Hero must survive against Hachiman in single combat for at least three posts without assistance in order to get the full Jewel reward.
Job Location: Nazo
Job Description: In Part Four of the series, we saw Hero reconcile with his grandfather within the main hall of the Yamamoto family estate whom withered into dust after answering all of Hero's questions. After that night's festivities with the unusual townsfolk whom lived there, the last remaining member of said family is suddenly transported to a land he has not yet set foot upon: Nazo, the land said to be the home of Gods. Upon arriving there, he is met by a woman with a fox's tail. She introduces herself as Inari and explains in relative detail why he has been transported to this place. Little does the giant know that he is in for far more than he may have bargained for.
Enemies:
Boss:
Hachiman (X-rank): Shinto God of War; the final trial. His trial is for Hero alone and the task is simple. Fight him alone and awaken Hero's true self. The God of War has unimaginable divine power and will use it ruthlessly. In order for Hero to be considered victorious, he must provide a spell powerful enough to impress the God. The battle can kill Hero if he is not entirely focused, due to the nature of his opponent. Winning this fight allows Yamamoto to fully embrace his lineage and become the Last Hero whom will fight for the Gods until the end of time. Losing the fight means permanent death.
Hachiman will also summon a group of 5 warriors clad in knightly armor every two posts to provide entertainment to other presiding Gods. Each of these knights deal S-rank damage each hit with their fists and will yield after at least three S-rank hits. These will be summoned three times before Hachiman steps in and makes a proclamation: survive until I say so, and you will be reborn. From this point, Hero must survive the God of War's onslaught for three death-enabled posts in order to complete the task. Landing a single hit from Hachiman deals X-rank spell damage, so needless to say, Hero CANNOT afford to get hit multiple times. However, on the opposite hand, if Hero manages to prove his strength to Hachiman by dealing enough damage to him, then he will concede and thus the task will be completed.
Reward: Gain the God's favor; each of the presiding Gods traverse different worlds in human form to spread news of the giant having bested a God in a special trial, for better or for worse; 60,000 Jewel upon defeating Hachiman.
