The emotion of love is one of the most complex emotions out there. People seek it and yet some want no part in it. It fascinates and some want it to occur to them, though when it happens, they do not commit to it. Love can elevate to a variety of other emotions, similar to an Eevee evolving into the various Eeveelutions. Out of love, both positive and negative emotions are sought out. Love can be exchanged in little to no words and yet the phrase of 'I love you' is popular in the stories of affection. An emotion that makes you do crazy things for people you're willing to go crazy for.
Akane took a request regarding the matter despite knowing none of this. The only form of affection would be towards her deceased parents, but even then, the words of 'I love you' is too much to muster.

Many emotions are able to stir out of hate. One of the more popular ones is jealousy. It is in this job that jealousy is presented in the form of love for Akane. She wouldn't understand it but gets the job done regardless of understanding or not. At age 14, love is the last thing on her mind, especially when she hasn't been able to show affection for anyone or thing in her fourteen years of survival.
Upon arriving at the job location, Cedar, Akane sought her client. He was waiting at a bar near the edge of the city. Akane found the bar and began to prance in before the guard stopped her. "Aren't you a little young, miss?" Akane tried to explain the situation with him, but he refused to hear it. After a lot of whining and causing a ruckus, the client exited the bar and apologized to the guard for the troubles, stating that Akane was his daughter.
As soon as they walked until the scenery changed, the man said, "There's no way you're the person I requested...no way." Akane took the insult quite harshly, but in the face of a customer, she said nothing. "Well, you're here anyway. I hope you'll be of use."

Akane snapped. She had a temper thanks to her age. As soon as the client said that, he was swept off his feet with a scythe to his throat. Akane's scarf was gone and in its stead, Crimson Rose's true form. With a fire in her eye, she asked the man whether or not he thought she was 'useful'. Should he answer wrong, there would go his head. A gulp went down his throat and he pathetically nodded. In the blink of an eye, the scarf came back and Akane smiled. "Let's talk about the job now, mister!"
The details were complex to Akane. She would ask the stupidest questions, though they were news to her. "What's love, mister? How are ya in it? I mean, you're here, aren't ya?" He tried the best he could to explain it to her but the mind of a kid would not understand such a complex emotion so easily. Eventually, even she gave up on trying to figure out what love was. He told her the job; to keep another mister away from a woman while delivering the woman fake notes. Akane had one more question and it popped out of her mouth in a second. "Where are the letters, mister?"

"EHHHH?! What do ya mean I gotta write 'em?!"
Apparently the client was not able to write the insult letters. He babbled on about how it felt like he was insulting the woman himself and how wrong it was. A dumbfounded look took place on Akane's face. And ruining her dinner date doesn't even make ya twitch. Akane tried to persuade the guy to write them himself, letting her be the messenger of bad news, but he refused. He went on, saying that if she wanted to get paid, she'd have to do it his way or no way at all. A long sigh exalted from Akane's mouth as she disappeared from sight in a second.
Walking the streets of the market casually, she wondered how she would handle this situation. After all, the man wouldn't arrive until 7 PM. She still had three hours to spare, with nothing to do. Would she take care of the man first or the woman first? It was too hard to decide so she flipped a coin. "Sorry, mister. You're first."

Akane had never camped before. But for this job, she would have to. After asking around, it seemed that the man did not reside in Cedar, but another city. He would be arriving by carriage in an hour or so. And for that reason, Akane did the usual 'villain camp-out near the bush right outside city walls' technique. It had always crossed her mind in previous jobs, but the technique wasn't necessary. This time, it was. She napped, she played with the animals, she even fried herself some fish from the river up ahead. But time didn't seem to move much, if at all.
Eventually, a continuous sound of galloping grew louder and louder. Akane looked up ahead, eyeing the carriage entering the city. As soon as it was right in front of her, her scarf silently shot out and into the wheel of the carriage, stopping it to a halt. Stopping it was the job itself, but Akane's instincts took over.
"Time to talk to the miss."

Dressed in her best attire, Akane arrived at the mansion of the lady in a black two-piece dress. The outlier of her attire would be the scarf still around her neck, as if it were still winter. In her hands were several pieces of paper, the letters sent from her beloved. Ringing the doorbell to the mansion, Akane was the bearer of disgusting news. A butler opened the door, asking what business Akane had here. "I'm here to talk to ya mistress." She tried her best to hide her 'fargo' accent, doing a terrible job at it. The butler only stared her down for what seemed like an eternity before he told her he'd ask the mistress over.
The woman was a pretty lady. She was as beautiful as can be, wealth not at all needed to present her finesse. She invited Akane in, wondering why a guest would be at her place at such a time. Akane broke the news to her with a smile on her face, not being able to comprehend how it would affect her. "I'm a maid from the mister's place. He asked me to give these to ya." she stated and handed the letters over. Opening the first one, the woman stared at it. "Are you sure he wrote this?" Akane continued the fib. "Aye, aye, he did!"
In an instant, Akane was kicked out. The woman was bawling inside her mansion, ripping her the letters that were sent to her. Akane felt bad for the situation, thinking back on her actions while leaving the territory of the woman. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'you're ugly!' to her.
