She wondered what was so special about his crops, how he manages to score the most every single year, and why he goes through the trouble of producing the most only with his bare hands. It was peculiar to see someone using their hands to work when the Neutral Grounds was such a industrialist city. Knocking on his door, she was greeted by a faint smile and an offer for tea. "Aye, aye~", she happily answered. As her tea was presented to her, she wondered if she could ask. She started with a simple question. "Ojisan, do ya have a wife?" A long silence took place before he answered her. "I did." And that was all she needed to hear. With a dark look to her eyes, she looked up to Mr. Jekis and smiled, though a tear came down her face. "You'll see her again, ojisan."

Exiting the house, the girl went on over to the other farmers, notifying that there'd be no one to tend to Mr. Jekis crops. The other farmers didn't understand exactly what she meant, but they trusted her on it and presented her with a fair bag of Jewels. Akane walked and walked, walking home. All the while, she thought if it was the right choice. Of course it was. After all, my parents are happy together.
