Post by Jiyu Kazehime 5th August 2016, 10:36 am

The newest name on the Black Rose announcement board today was Jiyu Kazehime. Honestly? It would shock numerous people, given that the wind mage looked as if she’d break when someone breathed to hard on her, far too skinny and still healing from injuries caused by two years of captivity. However the sorceress had her name printed up there, very neatly and clearly, also with the location of her name it certainly was not simply announcing her return or such! Instead, the announcement concerning the wind caster was a very simple one, Jiyu had been permitted to move up from D rank into C rank. Thought the female had not been given a formal exam, considering what she had just been through and the condition the experience had left her in, she was rather thought of as strong enough to have survived, or too weak to take a formal exam, in the end though the female was just happy her work was not ignored or pushed to the side just because she’d had a hard time as of late. Even if she couldn’t run around and use as much power as she’d once been able to? The female was anything but weak, and she’d put in the work to prove it every single chance she could slip away from Black Rose with a job request, completing the mission, most times, without any flaw and swiftly. Now with this morning’s update in event’s, the weakened mage would be able to do even more thing’s, thought there was another mage or maybe or a few magi, who did not trust the odd eyed girl to stay within her currently frail seeming bodies limits.

Marschal Leigh to be exact, Jiyu doubted he was going to be happy she now had more room to move and things to do!

Honestly? The young mage was concerned as to how he would react when he woke to find she was now a C ranked mage, and she hadn’t seen him the whole day! Actually the wind user was beginning to think he’d woken up before her and gotten utterly enraged, stormed out for the day or something, or was avoiding her due to spite over her applying for the rank up and receiving it. When she began to think those things? The wind user had needed to throw herself into work at the SilverMoon to forget about it, the haunting possibility he was upset enough about it all to just be done with her! Leigh had been so protective of her after coming to her rescue, the man had done more than he ever really needed to for her, Jiyu knew he cared about her and ranking up, opening the possibility she’d get into more dangerous situations; She’d basically thrown everything back into his face. What else was she suppose to do?! He only wanted to protect her, but Jiyu thought the only way she’d stay safe was to get strong enough that she wouldn’t need him, she wanted to rely on him, knew she could, but in the end Kazehime just couldn’t rely on someone else like that, no matter how much she wanted to! Marsch always proved to be reliable, her eyes casting over to the booth he was always sitting at, before her gaze fell to the bar seat she was standing in front of, the one he normally would be sitting at, if he was in the guild. The panic slowly rose through her again, eyes flashing back to how sudden her mother’s demise and departure from her life had been. Was it possible for something like that to happen to Marshcal, she shouldn't have let herself get so attached to him, now she wouldn’t be able to continue being independent, especially if he didn’t come back!

”I guess it’s getting to that time, no more customers today.” the dainty female spoke the words, removing the apron from over Marschal’s jacket, pushing one hand against the bar to push herself over it, landing bottom first in one of the stools. Now, she only had to decide if she was going to drink or not, the female knew she hated hang over’s, but, no she was not going to become her father, drowning a problem she did not know how to solve in beer! While she liked the scent of a drunk on Leigh, she doubted it would be enjoyable coming from her own body.

Kiru was soaked. Any surprise there? Probably not. Except for the fact she looked pissed about it. The girl angrily trudged inside the Silvermoon Inn with a look of hatred masked over her expression. This was indeed a rare site. The demon slayer was usually calm and collected for the most part, and it was evident that no one was around her to piss the water user off. So why was she so angry you may be wondering? It was a simple reason really. Debts. That was one of her jobs. Kiru was one of the Black Rose debt collectors. While most of the time she didn't mind the job, it occasionally got under her skin... Evident by the pouring rain that dotted the sky above Rose Garden. No doubt Kiru was the cause of the strong weather. A side effect of her magic. Her gaze was a faint shade of crimson, slowly fading back to cyan. A common trait among some mages, but specifically demon slayers. However, she paid no notice of it. Her vision was the same regardless of what colour the iris was. In her hand was a large, wet sack. Every step she took it made a metallic jingle sound like coins clashing together. It would be safe to assume that was what was inside the bag. And Kiru looked as if she'd murder anyone who dared to touch it.

The two toned colored hair girl wandered over to the bar, where she slumped the wet bag on the counter. It dripped silently as Kiru stood there, doing the same. A man looked over and saw it, Kiru simply nodded. "Dealt with those idiots who thought they could swindle us..." She growled angrily. the man simply snorted a snort of amusement, and took the bag, putting it underneath the counter. After this, the demon slayer silently sighed. Her muscles relaxed, and so did her breathing. The man dropped a towel next to her, and she took it. Kiru began to dry her hair, before slumping it over her shoulder.

Sometimes these tasks just got so tedious. Hearing the same stories over and over again from the frightened thugs who "borrowed" services from Black Rose, and then never thought to pay them back. Luckily, Kiru was the perfect one to get the funds back. Her young and innocent look made people underestimate her. Not knowing they're speaking to a Black Rose guild member helped. All of the thoughts went through her mind as Kiru meandered around the Inn, heading for the stairs that led up to the rooms. That's when something particular caught her eye. A young girl gazing over the announcment board. Kiru raised an eyebrow at this sight. She seemed to be very interested in one piece of writing. The girl took a closer look, and realized it was announcing a Mage who had just been upgraded to the C rank class from D. Then the realization hit her. That must be the girl who was just promoted. Kiru would have thought back to the time she was promoted, but that never happened... She was instantly put in the C rank class upon joining... After her mentor had finished with the demon slayer. Nevertheless the girl seemed a bit unsure, so Kiru thought she could be friendly to her. Maybe ease whatever stress the new position had put on her, if any.

    "Congratulations. You made it quickly."

She had to think of some way to make him forgive her, when he actually got close enough for her to give him some longing look or speak to her! Right now? Jiyu was just kind of ticked at the male for putting a blemish on a day that should have been one of the happier dates in her life, just because she was certain he was furious with her! How could Marschal have such an effect on her, the male had only saved her life, he was simplistic and hard headed, someone she should not normally get along with, to add another fact he was a cat and they normally hated her. In the end thought? She couldn't shake the fear he wouldn't look at her again, would never come to her aid in the future, just because she could not stay still and inhabit the guild's buildings alone while she healed. Even if she always said she hated how over bearing and protective he was? She knew that she would miss his antics if he were to suddenly stop, and she missed seeing him in that booth of his, or in his bar seat, getting drunk the whole day.

    "Congratulations. You made it quickly."

Jiyu appeared distracted as she looked over at the female who had spoken, eyes taken in her split tone hair, which while it was two colors like her own, was also completely different than her own. Kiru and the wind mage shared black in there hair, but while the other half of the water slayers locks were white, Jiyu had some of her's dyed orange. Kazehime shook her head slightly, seeming to attempt to focus in on the other mage, seemingly sad for a while, even thought this should have been a very happy moment for her. "Yeah, it surprised me a bit, but since my goal is to be one of the best, it's a good start." she started curling a lock of her ebony hair around one pale finger, biting her lip slightly, her worried expression actually looked kinda cute, expect for you know the fact she was worried.

"Want a drink or juice, no more costumers so there might as well be a small celebration or something." she didn't want to spend the night she ranked up alone, especially since she'd spent most of the day alone serving costumers. Once more? She glanced over at Kiru, smiling softly with a hazy look in her eyes.
