The riverside collapsed on both sides and caved in towards the dam, breaking off the ground. Ganz stood at his place watching his opus craving in and molding with the other river bank. It was done. The water masses didn't get past the dam they had just built. Ganz grinned. The sound of thunder and massive rain was agitating him, his fists were tickling. But not now. Ganz had to keep his cool in front of the Rune Mage who seemed rather capable. Ganz saw the Rune Mage coming up to him, pantin, huffing just as exhausted as himself. He seemed in good spirits and Ganz was satisfied since he managed to go overboard without the Rune Mage noticing anything. At the same time, he thought that he must have thought of himself stronger than he actually was. It depressed and motivated him at the same time.
The Rune Mage crawled up to him and spoke. "We're done here. The rain will flood the river further but the dam should hold out for now. The villagers will fix it completely after this is all over." He took a look to the river which was still flooding over the river bank up to their feet. "We should probably get out of here. That glove is our only hint up until now. If we're lucky the person who did this shouldn't be far. Especially since we weren't exactly quiet with our work here."
The sound of the rain was exciting Ganz more and more. He needed to find the person soon. The flame of will was fueled inside him. It needed to burn his soul to ash otherwise he wouldn't be able to rest.
