Job Description: One day out of the blue your character is visited by a strange messenger dressed in a slick black pin striped suit. The letter is from a dear old friend from your past. The details of the letter are as follows, "Dear old friend I don't know if you remember me but I need your help. A strange cursed has swept across my home land destroyed most of the population. I managed to escape, and am now in hiding, but while I was escaping from those creatures one of them bit me. Within the envelope I have placed my current location I am currently at an old cabin in the cursed lands, please come as soon as you can as I am beginning to feel rather feverous. Yours Truly (Insert Name)" Remembering your child hood friend/ or acquaintance (If you don't have friends.) you rush off to the curse lands to assist.

Negative Magic and Curse magic are 2x as effective in the Cursed Lands.
+Head Shots deal 2x as much damage to zombies.

If you have Positive or Purification magic, it will be 2x as effective against the Cursed Land's monsters

The Cursed lands are filled with malevolent forces and oozes with evil auras, those who are easy to fear must show it in their character's speech and behavioral patterns.

ENEMY DESCRIPTION:
Weak:x1 Undead Animal: The undead creature can be any type of animal the witter desires whether it be a bear or a squirrel is completely up to you. The animal does D Ranked damage and 2 D Ranked attacks will kill it.
Normal:x2 Malevolent Ghost: The ghost are intangible and can not be harmed by physical attacks unless assisted by a spell that allow them to do so. The Malevolent Ghost deals D Rank damage and once per post it can attempt to posses you. If your HP is below 50% then the possession will be successful and it control your actions for one post. 2 D Ranked attacks will send them to the great beyond.
Strong:x5 Ghouls: The Ghouls are fairly easy to kill but watch out if they bite you, the curse's energy can transfer to a new host. If you become infected and don't treat the wound within three post then your character's body slowly starts to rot dealing D rank damage per post. A single D ranked attack will kill your opponent.
Boss: Your once dear friend or acquaintance in Zombie form. Being freshly changed he or she is a great deal more powerful than the ghouls you might have encountered. You old acquaintance deals C Ranked damage and has a contagious bite. 5 D ranked attacks with put your old friend to rest.
Reward:5k in Jewels and access to the City of the Undead Quest.

It was a typical Friday morning as she remembered it. She had just sat down in front of a cup of Jasmine Tea, preparing to drink it in the midst of the guild hall. Members were coming and going, picking up fliers off the job request board. It's not as if this was anything new, she was simply relaxed. Imagine her shock when a messenger arrived on this normal day with a message in his hands. The man was old, with a beard drooping down to his waist, tied into his own belt. How odd, that the event didn't seem to be that important when she saw him. He was just another man going to put a message on the request board, she had thought. But that was when he approached her. Initially she was disgusted that someone of such a low class would ever dream of getting near her, but soon she found herself intrigued by the notion of being handed a letter. He gave it to her, letting his finger slide of the otherwise neat form. He left a large smudge of dirt when he did so, causes Karina to reel in disgust. "Thank you" she said in the most polite tone that she could muster. She went to open the envelope, and in that moment a jolt of fear ran across her. She didn't know why, but the letter suddenly became an urgent message. She gasped upon reading the letter, as it read:

Generally, she wouldn't even bat an eye at the notion. She was all the way in Lavinitir and this mortal swine wanted her to travel all the way to the cursed lands at the drop of a hat? Hmph! What a ridiculous notion! However, this particular being, was her young crush. Out of anyone she met when she was younger, he was the only one who ever took her seriously. He'd talk to her everyday, and he'd always share his juiceboxes! Maybe it was a silly reason to love someone, but goddammit her feelings were just her feelings! She couldn't help feeling them! She rose, and began to leave the building, fully determined to get to the cursed lands no matter what the cost was. She'd make those zombie pay for injuring him! How dare they insult her pride but making her think he could be weak for even a moment.

She didn't have much time, Karina would need to save him before he was killed by the virus himself. It wouldn't be hard! Of course she would get there in time. There was no possible reason for him to need to fear as long as she was coming, he should know that.
The first action she did was ask to borrow the mans vehicle. It ran off of magical power, a T-100 commoner model. While it wasn't excactly the best method of transportation, it would have to do for her purposes. Karina sat down in the front and placed the armband around her upper arm. Firmly tightening it, she began to feel it tug at her magical energy whenever she pushed on the break. It wouldn't take long to get to the land with the amount of energy she was utilizing! However, she knew already that it would drain her of at least 30% of her magic power if she kept going at this pace. Regardless, she'd made it within the day. She'd rest just outside the land, and wait to regenerate mana. Or at least that's what she thought she'd do.
As she sat in her hammock outside of the area around the abandoned Cabin, Karina picked up a disgusting scent. It smelled as if someone had gathered all the dung in the world and dipped it in vinegar. Somehow, the vinegar bypassed her nose and situated itself right in her tongue, pushing it down and kicking herself into a state of absolute awareness. She stood up and saw a bear with rotting flesh. The bear had holes all over it's body and reminded her of some sort of carcass. The curse over the land must have influenced it so. Karina raised her hand at it, and connected herself and the bear via her trademark Emotion Links. She followed up by calling down her most powerful bird, one of her Seaside Ravens. It plunged towards the bear, diving right into it's head, instantly killing it. It was only natural that her signature spell would be powerful enough to do such an action after all! This didn't mean much more to her though. She'd need to find her friend right now if this is how fast the creatures attacked.

Karina was tenacious. She was going to save her friend regardless of the monsters around her. Another being appeared before her a malevolent specter, with two slower zombie bears in tow. What should she do? It wouldn't do to simply assault them with a flurry of ravens, she needed a more effective method of defeating her foes. After contemplating for a moment, she realized how she could best make use of the current situation. First, she created an emotion link with the malevolent spectre, who was much closer to her than the other two. Her eyes pulsed and her veins popped is she evoked the feelings from the ghost before her. She could tell he was a rather terrified individual in life, such a weak being would of course attempt to pry on the weak as a method for getting over their own weakness. Disgusting, why would they even think Karina was weak? At that moment, Karina forcibly pulled out her emotion link on the specter initially damaging it, causing it to momentarily reel. The specter dashed towards Karina, with a malicious intent in it's heart. It's hand became corporeal for a moment to slash at her breast, creating a tear at the chest. He thought he'd have back-up that would keep his attack going, but what he did not realize was what else had happened when she extracted his sense of danger. Karina had created a barrier of blades around them, and the ghost cronies had run right into them. A rather primal trap, but nonetheless effective. Karina smiled at the simple effectiveness, as the specter realizing what had happened was not quite what they had planned.

"This was going well" Karina thought to herself. She sent a siphoning strike down towards the specter, prying on his sense of empathy. In his past life, he may have had some code against hurting women. He may have ended up being ironically betrayed by the very women he held on a pedestal, and now had some sort of vendetta against all women. Karina scoffed at his weakness. She didn't always have the ability to understand the emotions of the targets she linked up with, but this time he seemed to be simple to understand. Perhaps it was because he was a manifestation of those very emotions?

The energy she sent through her Siphon was enough to heal the gash the spectre left on her arm when he first struck her. For a moment, she mused what God controlled the realm of the dead? And what might happen once she, herself, did die? But that was silly, it was pointless to think about death when her friend was the one in danger of such peril. She'd have to go deeper in order to find him. Karina turned towards the cabin that was in front of her. She might have to face a horde of monsters, but she had her own allies to aid her.
