Motor City. To be fair, the location had become a quite familiar place for Vargas Seig, whose jobs lately took him back to the huge metropoli, filled with vehicles and with some sort of cyberpunk atmosphere that was just his thing. Magnolia was way too cheerful, and Hargeon didn't have any appeal now that it was in shambles... Thus, he had come to take a liking to the city. To be fair, he was even making considerations... -Should I make this town my base? After saving some jewels from all the work, I'm sure I could afford to buy some sort of place, to give the store at least a physical format... -the white haired man could not help but to wonder out loud as he walked throughout the crowded streets. To be fair, while the Seig was cool with being a hired gun reached through the Lacrima network, he'd rather keep things a bit more personal.
Though he had to wonder, how legal was him working outside of guilds and just for his own profit? The Devil's Arms user was not acquainted with Fiore's policies regarding magic usage, other that using it for delinquency was heavily frowned upon, and was even enough to qualify you as a dark mage. Oh, well. He'd take the risk, anyway. Heck, it was some sort of... paid community service? Yep, that was a good excuse for the Council, should he cross paths with them in any occassion.
Still, that day he was in Motor City to recover a couple of bikes that had been stolen by a group of thieves, and the law enforcement office seemed to have all the details. Naturally, it had been a rather short visit, but it had been enough to set Vargas on track: the most common theft areas, the city ghettos, and other factors that kept screaming "crime" at him. With a smile, he got ready for whatever might happen.
