Holy fire burns again the magic circle is all around it, burning like the innocence of love Glorious was that day on which Mura Kensho was meant to meet Kanix on Tenroujima Island for the start of his B rank exam. She had watched and even helped him grow in power, and now, here she was standing on the Island, awaiting to assess him. More importantly, she had hoped the young mage had received the letter she had sent out to him a few days prior. This would have given him the opportunity to prepare himself and ride out to the island without being too late. Carrying on the traditions that Heero had since left behind after his death, she had high hopes that Mura would not miss this chance. If he wanted to grow in power, then the young mage would know that he must go through this assessment in order to continue on. In the letter she had sent him, she talked of a spiritual journey, of growing one's self, and proving his strength. Kanix sat calmly beneath the massive tree that was at the center of the island, her thunderbird not far off from where she was. Ancalagon was curled up underneath the shade of the trees in the clearing, breathing soundlessly as he slept on. Her single, blind, blue optic stared aimlessly into the space between the receding forest and where she currently sat. As for the fake eye that rest in the empty socket that had once contained the beauty of her former eye, it remained motionless as she looked on. She almost felt that perhaps Mura had gotten lost in the forest and could not find his way to the center, knowing him. However, she had to keep faith in her children, as she knew that before long, they would always find their destination. Breathing in deeply, Kanix closed her eyes and listened to her surroundings, for once connecting with nature again. It had been so long since she had last been able to share her feelings to the world and feel as one with Mother Nature. Now that she was Guild Master of Fairy Tail, she had a feeling she would be able to do this more often as she proctored others' exams. With Mura being similar to her, in that he was a shaman as well, she'd be able to enjoy what she had planned out for him. As shamans, the two of them were meant to connect with nature and feel one with it, and this is what they called a spiritual journey. She would be tasking him with such a thing, to find what he was within himself and learning to fight through his doubts and fears. A smile traced along her lips and the woman opened her eyes, sight given only to the fake eye in her right socket. The moment Mura came to the center of the island, she would proceed with explaining to him what he had to do. @Mura Kensho, 485 words , notes |
