It had been weeks since Mashyuu finished the Dragon's Challenge with the rest of Sacred Gaia and he was working on becoming an A ranked Ace in Sabertooth. He was so close he could taste it, but decided to take some time to himself before he took his exam and moved on to the biggest jobs of his life thus far.
The Wizard walked alone through a canyon of orange stone, the sun was just starting to set ahead of him and his senses had started to dull from the sleep that was washing over him. His grey leather jacket rested on his shoulders, one arm missing from the jacket as always, exposing his bronzed arm. His red and black gloved hands were stuffed in the pockets of his blue jeans and a small trail of prints from his black boots had been left for miles. Mashyuu's blue eyes watched the ground in front of him, with only a day's travel until he was within running distance him.
His ring had been yammering on in Mashyuu's head about something but the Wizard had tuned it out, instead thinking about some spells he had been working on. A few weeks ago he managed to unleash a Dragon's Roar but since then hadn't been able to do it since. Was that his next spell? He wasn't sure. He also had no idea that he was being followed by a familiar face who had once broke into a hotel room of his just to taunt and tease him.
Mashyuu stopped after nearly an hour of walking and stretched out his body while cracking his back to keep himself going. "Alright, I guess I should get some sort of a work out in while I'm here. To bad Rocky didn't want to come with me, could have used a real partner to spar with." He joked to nobody and closed his eyes, focusing on the magic inside him.
