A young woman with a leaf like tail and matching ears, well taken care of maid outfit covering most of her creme colored skin and ending at around the same spot where thigh-high, black stockings began had walked up to the door Azurius's room at one of the inn's in Hargeon that was allowing Lamia Scale's wizards to call home so long as they didn't trash the place or prove disrespectful. "Master Tade, it's Claire." she said with her soft, caring, sweet voice. It was a sound that instantly made even the most demon crazed men cease their rampaging, get on their knees and apologize for exposing the young lady to whatever atrocity they had committed.
Inside the room was Azurius Tade in a rocking char, his six year old daughter seated sideways in his lap with her legs bent at the knee. She had fallen asleep while he was singing to her at her own request, a reaction that made Azurius question why she even bothered asking him to. She looked almost exactly like Elaine, the difference being age related features. Blonde hair that dangled down to her rear end, doll like features, head strong when she needed to be, and sweet in all other scenarios. He found himself stroking her hair, enjoying his day off from patrolling the disaster zone when he heard through the door "Master Tade, it's Claire" and instantly thought 'Break's over...' before saying in a soft but audible voice "Come in." not needing to tell her to be quiet as Claire was normally very aware of situations.
Having heard the response, Claire gently pushed on the door while turning the knob and entered. She knew that Azurius didn't like it when she spoke to him from across the room, preferring that his servants come near him to speak, look him in the eyes, and do not bow to him. He was a strange master who treated his servants as if they were his friends, a practice that Claire had to get used to the same way he had to get used to Claire. "Master Tade, Sir Avoa has requested your aid in a matter and is waiting downstairs." she said calmly before extending a job notice.
Taking the notice from her gently Azurius read over the information. It detailed very little about the individual enemies aside from a ship that Azure was almost certain the H.S. Salvation could tear in half. The only true request for the job was to ensure that the rest of the city wasn't torn in half alongside the enemy's vessel. It was a request that Azurius was more than happy to grant, and it would require very little effort. He let out a sigh before wrapping his arms around Destiny and getting up, placing the child on his bed and setting the covers over her. "When she wakes up would you mind looking after her till I get back? If Elaine comes and wants to take her off your hands that's fine, I just don't wanna go bugging her to do it." "Of course, I'd be honored to be entrusted with Lady Tade. Shall I alert Sir Avoa that you've agreed?" "Yes please, thanks."
Several minutes after the conversation, Kihia would see Claire return. "Thank you for waiting so patiently, Master Tade will be down shortly." Not even ten seconds later, a man would be seen walking off the bottom of the stairs wearing a black trench coat. There was no obvious weapons on him, but the tapping of something could be heard from under the coat which would let Kihia know that Azurius was in fact armed. "Sup Snowman." he would say casually, adding yet another nickname to Kihia's arsenal. "Dunno if you got your own ride, the Salvation'll be he-" The sound of roaring thrusters interrupted Azurius "-okay, so it's already here." he said while making his way to the door. "Later old man." he said to a man in his mid-fifties who was behind the counter. "See ya kid." he said back with a fairly light-hearted tone. On the other side of the door was the 20 meter long ship hovering above the town's buildings and two drones on the floor. Beyond that was a border that marked the beginning of ground zero, which was still being cleared of debris...
"Hop on..." he said to Kihia before standing on one of the drones. It instantly began lifting off the ground and then levitated him up to the Salvation, entering a large door that lead to the shuttle bay at the belly of the ship. Inside would be a woman leaning against the wall, a glowing ring with spikes pointing outward above her head. "This day off seems a lot like we're being reassigned to a less depressing station." Suriel said with a bit of sass in her voice. "Pretty much. You remember Ice Cube right?" Azurius replied, using his thumb to gesture behind him to Kihia, while simultaneously giving him another nickname. "Oh hey, person from the tree!" she said while sending a smile towards him. "Name's Suriel." "Kelly, head of security. I'm gonna need you to stand still." A woman called from across the room, walking towards the three of them with a metal detector in hand.
"Stand down, he's armed and we all know it." Azurius said casually, as though Kelly were his friend and not employee. "Yes sir." She replied, tucking the metal detector next to the desert eagle at her waist. "Sorry about her, she used to working for civilian defense so when it comes to new faces Kelly sometimes forgets that I don't know anyone who isn't armed, dangerous, or both." "Don't talk like I'm not here you old bastard." she said with a grin. "Hah! Still look younger than you hag!" Azurius joked back. Kelly walked over to Kihia, extending her opened right hand to shake if he would. "Welcome, try not to turn my home into an iceberg mmkay?" she asked, while just having fun she was also referring to when Kihia froze the building just before it got bombarded by Kateri's guns.
Kelly would walk behind everyone when Azurius turned to walk over to an elevator that had more than enough room for the four of them. Upon reaching the top floor, Azurius would say "Ene, we're heading to Rose Garden." and over the intercoms of the ship the reply "ETA three hours." would be heard coming back. The room they were in would be extremely technologically based, desks had consoles on them with schematics of the ship and data galore. Lacrima screens on the walls would have data streaming across it, and people would be moving about looking down at tablets in their hands but still managing to walk around Azurius and company without even looking up.
"This ship's the most technologically advanced ship the guild has ever seen. The trade-off for that was that we couldn't fit components for better speed, at least, not without increasing the size of the ship or sacrificing fire power." The walls would contain no windows, something that had to be sacrificed as well to accommodate the amount of technology in the room. However, upon entering the helm, there would be five seats: one in the middle, two on each side, and windows on the floor and walls. "The glass is shatterproof with multiple barriers for added insurance. I like to have a view when I fly, so I was extremely adamant about keeping it." Azurius would inform Kihia if he was still behind him. If Kihia was with Azurius and looked around, he would notice they were moving, but the feeling of the ship having ever started moving was never felt.... Several metal areas lined the glass surroundings, likely containing the wiring for the console at the chair in the middle that Azurius sat at.
