- Job Title: Rise of the Syndicate
Rank: A
Player Requirements: At least two A rank wizards or equivalent
Job Requirements: 50 posts of 500 words each. Every executive must be rolled and defeated before job can be completed.
Job Location: Crescent Island
Job Description: Help us!!! Recently a new dark guild has risen with boasts of incredible power and resources! They call themselves Syndicate, after a mighty and terrifying guild from over a century past, and have declared war against the magic council, the king of fiore, and all legal guilds. Their first target is Crescent Island, a resort island full of civilians and peaceful people, with no defense of its own! They are seeking to send a message to the guilds of just what they are capable of. Please, drive these savages away from our shores and save our people!
Enemies:
Weak: Low rank soldiers of the guild, these punks wear no armor but are naturally tough and resilient. They require 2 B ranks worth of damage to go down and deal rank damage with their swords. They usually appear in packs of about twenty and there are an estimated total of four hundred of them roaming around the island.
Normal: Low rank executives. Each normal monster roll you choose one that shows up. These mages range from simple B rank mages up to S. Once all are defeated, if you roll another normal monster, you may choose either a swarm of weak opponents or one strong monster.
Dellinger Donquixote, a B rank leg mage. Leg mage, you think, that doesn't sound hard. You would be surprised. Dellingers specialty is the ability to strengthen his legs by ridiculous amounts. Capable of generating two tons worth of force with one kick at this point, he is fast, can headbutt opponents and skewer them with his horns by leaping headfirst at them, and his legs are just naturally powerful. Requires 4 B ranks worth of damage to be defeated.- Spoiler:
Lao G Donquixote, an A rank pain mage. He may not be much to look at but Lao G is considered to be one of the most dangerous martial artists in the world, and age has only made him better. Surprisingly fast, shockingly strong, and able to make others feel pain, either his own or to relive a pain they knew in the past, this old man is guaranteed to be a pain in the ass. Pun intended. Requires two A ranks worth damage to defeat.- Spoiler:
Broly the headsman, an S rank splitter mage. On his way to being a top executive, Broly is a threat to almost any one. His axe can split anything, opponents, spells, people, he does not care. Perhaps most annoying however is his ability to split himself to dodge attacks. Add in his ridiculous physical strength and his extremely high stamina and he is a force to be reckoned with. Requires 4 S ranks worth of damage to be defeated.- Spoiler:
- Spoiler:
Gladius Donquixote, an A rank rupture mage. Unlike the other executives Gladius is accompanied by fifty weak ranked soldiers, being the commander of those forces. Besides being able to make the magic within others, and items, explode he also carries on his wrists two small launchers. These launchers are armed with magically replicating magical crystals which he can fire at targets and make explode. Capable of hitting targets up to five hundred feet away with pin point accuracy, the crystals themselves deal D rank damage but can be fired twenty in one post, ten from each wrist, each turn. It requires two 4 A ranks worth of damage to defeat him.- Spoiler:
Machvice Donquixote, an S rank weight mage. Weight magic may not sound tough to the unaware, but that's what Machvise likes. He is capable of controlling his own weight, able to make himself weigh nothing in order to reach incredible heights with one jump, and then able to reach a maximum weight of five hundred thousand pounds, more than enough to flatten almost any opponents, and the next three or four blocks around them. He can also change the weight of inanimate objects, individual body parts, carries around a massive, self repairing shield, and is an accomplished sumo wrestler. His shield can take one H ranks worth of damage a turn before being made useless for the rest of the round and Machvise himself requires two S ranks worth of damage.- Spoiler:
Strong: Mid rank executives. When you roll this choose one of the four provided and do combat with them. Once defeated you do not have to face them again and if you roll a strong after defeating all four you may choose any other executive.
Diamante Donquixote, an S rank flap wizard. His unique magic allows him to turn anything into a cloth or tissue paper, which can be rehardened and reused later on. While this may sound pointless the possibilities are endless. Throw confetti into the air, which then hardens into spiked balls dropping on your opponent. Turn a sailing ship into a flapping piece of paper long enough to place it over your opponents head and then drop it. Turn your cape into an iron shield. Even change your own body! Prefering the up close and personal touch of a sword, opponents should be wary of this opponent. Requires 4 S ranks worth of damage to be taken down.- Spoiler:
Pica Donquixote, an S rank stone mage of considerable size and power. Standing in at ten feet tall, this soprano voiced behemoth is as capable with his gigantic sword as he is with his magic of the stones. Capable of shaping stone into anything he wishes, using it as spears from the ground, forming gigantic replicas of himself, or even blending into the stone entirely this is one nasty, and tough, customer to deal with. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat.- Spoiler:
Trebol Donquixote, an S rank Sticky Mage. Sticky? Whats that? It is a goo, a nasty, foul smelling, highly explosive, goo. Trebol is made of the stuff, from his head, constantly dripping snot, to his feet, constantly leaving a trail. Perhaps the most difficult of the executives, Trebol is almost immune to all physical attacks, this includes iron, water, wind, or the piercing effects of light and shadow type attacks. Add to this his ungodly strength, able to lift small houses with ease, and his ability to increase the amount of goo in the area, thus increasing his own size, he will be a very difficult opponent to hurt. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat, approach with caution.- Spoiler:
Vergo Donquixote, an S rank Density mage. Capable of changing the density of his own body at will, Vergo will prove quite the challenge to all. Capable of changing his skin from a sword shattering black carbon, which increases his strength exponentially, to becoming just a wisp in the wind, capable of ignoring all but wind type attacks, the most difficult part of this opponent will just be harming him. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat.- Spoiler:

Reward: Double A rank exp and 100k jewels
job created by Akryn
Yeah, he did hear of their wars and such. And Black Rose was even going to war with them as they spoke. Elyx knew that they would win, with their advanced technology behind them, they could slaughter opponents easily. So he would relax as he read the peace of paper, war was far away from his peaceful office. His lips upwards as the words were being scanned. Until then one part of the war has been left unchecked, and this new guild planned to capitalize on it while they had the chance. Now that was where he could take action against it. This new guild declared war and can gain some free ground. Crescent island, was it? It sounded familiar, but he could not recall from when. Regardless he could find it. Many mages were probably on their way to the island right now. 100,000 jewels was a nice reward, it paid almost as much as an S ranked job, which no one could turn down. If they made it a true emergency and gave the average 100 Year job rewards, he would practically teleport from his seat. That was beautiful, so much money, he would be able to buy many things. Or one... Really expensive powerful item. Another thing to store in the safehouse, because it would not be something for Iza to get her hands on. So he would mildly jog out of his office and out of the guild hall before running out of the Black Rose borders. There was nothing much he could do by just sticking around, and he had everything he needed equipped in case he would get into a fight. Or rather, when he gets into a fight. There was war being fought, blood being spilled onto the grass, he was unfortunately going to have to bring down some enemies as well. Naturally, he won't kill them unless the council demands it.
Ignite would be joining him this time, because she was the one who presented him with the job in the first place. It would only be fair to play along with whatever was going on, and hey, jewels. She took a break from the rifles at least, and as long as they go together, any dark guild would have to fear them. Wind and fire mix well for a reason. She would not be so hyper and cheery, but rather formal and intelligent. Well, of course she would still play around, but compared to before, she would almost be as formal as Elyx. Well damn, what exactly did the magazines have inside of them that the Sky Slayer did not teach? If manners came for free, he'd give everyone his magazines. Regardless, that was not a topic of concern as of currently. Manners later. War now. We are going to have to spill a lot of blood in this you know. Are you sure you want to take this job with me only? Take responsibility for what happens to the island and the Syndicate? The She-Phoenix would ask. Yes, he was prepared for whatever was coming up. But... What if they did have someone?
