He had to acknowledge the fact that they were going to throw away all safety for a maze. If anything, there needed to be some sort of trail left behind or order to make sure that they knew where they were going. It was not much, but there was one being that he could use. Stella. Placing out one of his palms, he would summon a stack of chocolate bars in front of that palm before obtaining a grip onto them. With that, he would walk into the maze and begin dropping them onto the ground. Yes, any beast could just eat them at free will, but they have to come across the chocolate in the process. And they probably won’t be getting towards them for a while since they could move quickly. So with those thoughts to reassure him of what he was doing to be right, he would end up having the chocolate make a trail behind them. In the process, he would toss one over to Aiyana and one over to Ard. This being done, they should not have any temptation to try to eat any from the ground. He had no idea why, but by his logic, if they were so willing to eat fire and frostfire, what stopped them from burning into the chocolate before eating it? Then again, Elyx ate wind. Eating air. So it was probably not any better than the other two. We will need these for the trip. I can summon as many as I need to, so just tell me when. The ones on the ground will provide a little thread for us to follow in case we get caught back. With that being said, the monsters could follow us and eat the chocolate path… That was exactly what he had been relying on the whole time. Seeing as they were unable to find the minotaur so easily, perhaps the trail of chocolate would bring along it to them, along with a lot more monsters. Hey, if they were so confident in getting into the maze in the first palce, the huge number of monsters inside it should not be too hard to handle going by their mentality. So he would continue to place the bars of chocolate onto the ground, losing sight to what was actually ahead of the group before his magic sensory was triggered… His eyes shot up and his body froze in place. Something was nearby already, and it was not coming from the direction of the chocolate bars either. Turning his back around, he would see it… Ambush. They had to prepare themselves for battle.

Halting for a moment, Ardere's nose twitched. The slight stench of the labyrinth was distracting, but it did not prevent him from smelling the nearby enemies. Drawing his blade, the fire mage began to loosen his cloak. Looks like you might be right, Ai. Responding to the comment from his companion, he did recognize one of the scents; minotaur. The others reminded him of some sort of bird, but with a twist to it. While he was not completely positive on how many enemies were coming, he could tell it was at least 4 or more. As they grew closer and closer, their foot steps began to echo in his ears, but there happened to be less foot steps than enemies from what he could tell, almost as if some of them were flying, or gliding. Hmm. Keep your eyes peeled. Unsheathing the crimson blade tied to his back, he spun the bastard sword between his finger tips. Bending his knees ever so slightly, the guild master looked around. The maze was one of the more eerie and ominous sights he had witnessed in his lifetime, but he felt a sense of security among friends. Perhaps they would not experience the terror of the Cursed Lands as heavily this time.
Instinctively reacting to a whirring in the air, Ardere swiped his blade to the left, snapping an arrow in half flying towards him. The two pieces of the arrow fell to the ground, and he held the flame in his hand outwards, allowing them a bit better vision. In front of them he could spot a group of harpies, from a quick scan they seemed to be half swordsmen and half archers. They did not look particularly powerful, but there was strength in numbers. Gripping his blade tightly, he heated it up. The Coward's Blade came into effect, as Clarent grew a bright red from sheer heat, allowing him to melt through his enemies. Just as he went to charge one of the harpies, he dodged left to avoid an arrow, but something else came pummeling towards him, from the right. Leaping up into the air, his feet found themselves kicking off the concrete just as a large minotaur, one of the labyrinth guardians he presumed, bashed into the wall to his left. As he twirled through the air, the fire mage managed to slice open the minotaur's shoulder as it created a massive crack in the wall, roaring in pain and anger. The sheer force of the charge and roar sent the in mid-air guild master tumbling, but he quickly regained his balance, sliding across the floor. So our enemies have made themselves known. Let's get this show on the road. Charging the minotaur, he spun around harshly, sending his cloak across the beast's front, blinding it. As the beast thrashed and flailed, it was pierced by a searing hot blade. Melting through flesh and bone, the samurai slayed the minotaur before sliding to the side. Allowing his friends some more room to fight, they still had quite a few enemies left to go before this was over.

Description: The blade of Clarent heats up, turning a bright red. This adds heat damage onto the normal damage of the blade, allowing it to deal spell damage. This also allows it to melt through solid objects, non magical ones. However with the increased spell damage, it does help to deal more damage against magical objects.
Strengths:
Melts through non magical objects.
Adds spell damage to the blade.
Weaknesses:
Brightness of the blade makes the user stick out.
Damage can only be done physically, useless at a range.
Makes the blade sensitive to damage due to being overheated.

What was supposed to be the very beginning of their trip through the labyrinthine maze ended up being an ambush that automatically put them into a fight! Arrows suddenly poured in at them, Ardere cutting the one coming at him in half before Aiyana went into action and teleported towards the harpies that were the firers of the barrage. The nine tailed fox would appear in a burst of frostfire that struck at the eight harpies that were around her, magic from each funneling into her even as she began to press her attack on them. Khopesh would meet the skulls of two even as the vixen's tails narrowly avoided the swords of the four that wielded them as she did a small teleport to get out of the way. That had been close! A few moments longer and she would have had to take a small trip to the celestial realm so that the limb could grow back! Even as she thought this she would notice a single arrow flying in her direction. The armor she wore gave her the advantage, however, and allowed her to keep an eye on it so that she could catch it by the middle of the projectile. With that in hand, and her candy cane weapon now on her back, Aiyana would deal with a sword bearing harpy before she teleported back a bit more. While she had been perfectly safe, a blue gas had begun coming from the one she had slain. Not knowing what it was worried her, and the woman would bring it up in the midst of combat.
”Be careful guys! Killing these things is releasing some kind of gas, let's try not to breathe it in and move as we fight!” The woman had no worries about it herself, she had no need to actually breathe here in this realm. It was then she noticed that a minotaur had, at some point while she had been focused on the half-bird creatures, burst into the room they were in only to be struck down by the flaming sword that the Infinity Hydra guild leader had in his grasp. That was good! Enemies were no trouble so far, unless that gas had some insane reaction on the other two she was with. Maybe they would get lucky and Elyx could blow it away with his wind magic, that would be a good thing to talk about once they were not in the thick of combat! With all of that out of the way the celestial pharaoh would dodge a few more arrows while simultaneously avoiding the gas that was ever creeping towards them as it spread throughout the hallway they were currently in. 'Well, looks like we can just use this gas to mark our progress at this point. I can just eat the chocolate later and save it since he's already summoned it for me to use!' The amusing thought would hit her mind even as she looked over to Elyx, the one that had slung through her mind, to see how the violinist was handling the monsters that were coming his way. Would everything be simple for them to deal with here? Or was there going to be a greater challenge they needed to overcome that would test the three more than anything they had been through thus far?

He paced his way through the battlefield calmly, just walking through the chaos around him as if it were the street of a cheerful populated town. Sure, he might have been the primary target of a reclusive few, but they were barely able to reach him as their fellow attackers were attacking those that retaliated against the two partners for the job. What did bring up his attention however was a sudden stomp on the ground that cause a sudden ripple in the ground below his feet, launching up the miniscule body of his upwards with a chunk of rock below him. He was still standing up, since the lack of knockback had saved him from actually flying from recoil, but the ground he stood on was still forced upwards. With this, he’d jump up from the piece of launched rock, flipping backwards one time before slamming the tip of his foot against the edge of it, as if to play a game of soccer. The impact between the boot and the rock made a little circle of wind before launching the rock towards the chest of the smaller minotaur, causing it to stumble a little bit as the heart lost it’s momentum for a bit. Elyx in the meantime would land back onto the ground once again, placing his hands in his pockets. Right now, he was not really in the mood to fight. The battle had occurred so quickly, so unexpectedly, so he did not feel the momentum. While retaliating was most certainly a must, he himself was not so hasty to finish the battle. “I can handle the gas if you would like, but I’m not sure how long it would last. Also, you’ll feel a lot more sensitive to magic attacks if I carry out the spell I do, so expect more damage if I actually still do it! Do you still want me to do it anyways?” It was a fair warning. No spell of his brought calm winds onto the field. It was dark magic, and he was an independent being, so those around him, friend or foe, were bound to be affected negatively if that were to happen. So he was waiting for the thumbs up from both of them as he continued to make his way towards the strong minotaur, the one that ended up launching him up into the air. It seemed to want to lash out at him once again for pulling off the stunt that he did. Fine by the Sky Slayer, as the winds began to intensify around him. If it wanted to get him, it was going to have to be far quicker than what it has been displaying.

Description:
A sudden wave of dark wind will swarm every being within 75 meters of the user in it. The winds end up ripping through the skin of all beings that get caught in it that are A rank and lower. Once this happens, they end up being more exposed to damage. For the next 3 posts, they take 25% more damage. This is increased to 50% if hit with a lightning based attack.
Strengths:
-Makes all surrounding beings more vulnerable to damage
-Lightning based attacks can increase this to 50% rather than 25%
Weaknesses:
-This only affects A rank or lower beings, whom the winds can cut through the skin of
-This can affect allies as well as enemies
-Fallen Slayers can eat this without feeling the effects of the wind being mixed in it, as if it were only darkness
