    Mission:

What could he say Cameron was looking and feeling good! He figured when he last saw Julie and Roman their parents would approve of their engagement. Was he nervous that their greedy father’s would cause the two problems. Maybe. Luckily both Monty and Cappie let it go so their children could be happy. Now Roman and Julie got to say their nuptials and Cameron could relax. While others came as a job from their various guilds and affiliations. Cameron had the day off, and was personally invited by the Bride and Groom as a thank you.

Cameron showed up in a dark blue tuxedo, taking time to shape some of his features a bit. His hair took on a darker black color to contrast against the tux, his eyes turning a sky blue color, with his skin paling a bit. He added a few more inches onto his height before proceeding to mingle with the other guests in attendance.

While chatting up a nice fragrant lady in a lovely lavender dress, Cameron felt a bit nervous. According to her, the reason why other guilds and what not had shown up. Was due to the fact that Julie’s ex-boyfriend Tye Balt, may show up. Him and Roman fought a lot, and Tye was pissed over the fact that Julie chose someone else. The frequent fighting had reached large proportions and Tye even made a threat against the wedding. Not a smart choice for someone so broke, while both the Gue and the Lett family, shucked out extra money for protection. Surveying the surroundings while drinking the Merlot in his hands. Cameron doubted anyone would be stupid enough to try and stop the wedding.

It was actually a very subtle morning, this dawn. Not only but a few days ago did Isaac receive a letter from two clients, requesting that one or many Rune Knights would attend their wedding for protection from a jealous and supposedly dangerous ex boyfriend of the wife, a reasonable request.

Now, Isaac wasn't such a romantic fellow. And not to say that he didn't enjoy weddings, but simply because it just wasn't the sort of occasion he'd attend. But, he saw this as work, and work was to be done.

Now, according to the letter, he was to come in a proper wedding attire (Which he assumed was a formal suit or tuxedo, but the details were so bland that it was almost left up to interpretation), and just when he thought he'd never need to use it, he had a gifted suit tucked into one of his wardrobes. One with the primary color of a velvety purple and dark green vest underneath it, along with a white undershirt and red tie. And the morning he put it on, it was tight, hot, and stuffy. Certainly not his choice of wear.

But, regardless, he managed to cope with the discomfort and proceeded to the location designated in the letter. Apparently, Rose Garden. Why wasn't he surprised? It was such a famous place, he couldn't be shocked when noise stirred.

With the cheap ticket for a train ride, he arrived at Rose Garden not before long, walking through the scattered crowds until he arrived at the chapel, he himself standing out in the crowd merely because of his olive-toned skinned perfectly in fit for his color scheme, his height and build also improving his charm. But, this was not intentional.

He expected fellow Rune Knights to be posted here, on occasion of the letter notice, so with prying eyes and a picky tongue, he carefully searched the crowd. - But it the search didn't last as long as he anticipated.

"Drink, sir?" A young woman, short but busty and wearing a vest-tuxedo, stopped Isaac in his tracks to display an assortment of drinks and alcohol.

"No, no. I am fine, thank you." Isaac would raised his hand towards her, trying to keep her at an arm's length.

"You sure, big guy? It's a pretty big day today! Why not celebrate?" She would wink with a toothy smile and an 'Are you suuure?' tone to her voice, obviously trying to convince him to have a drink with her attractive looks.

"One, any of them." Isaac would sigh and give into her stubbornness, reaching out a hand, as if waiting to grab something.

The girl would jump, giggle and grin in joy and success, snatching the nearest glass of wine and handing it to him.

"Yay! Enjoy the wedding! Toodles~" She would turn and leave with the seductive wave of her fingers, continuing her search of other people to prey on with his drinks. And with a rather disappointed expression, he looked down into his drink to gaze into his reflection, staring for a few moments before taking a sip.

It had a subtle flavor, sweet and relaxing. More like an expensive grape wine with no remarkable flavors. He hadn't drank much, but he could tell the difference.

And on that note, he gently removed the rim of the glass from his lips and back down to his side, walking back over towards a corner to wait, leaning on a wall and quietly holding his glass, of which he occasionally took sips from, not even close from reaching it's halfway point.

Isaac would sigh and lower his head with closed eyes, "This certainly wasn't as planned. Perhaps I'll wait." And with that, he did. Waited patiently for the drama and action to arise, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Post by Hero Yamamoto 18th May 2016, 8:37 pm

The task for the evening was very vague. Hero was told that a big wedding was being held and the hosts provided funds to the Rune Knights as guards. Against what, he was not told but it was stressed that the wedding had to go through unhinged. Judging by the mission given, there was likely to be groups of people in defiance of the marriage, otherwise there would have been no reason to hire the Rune Knights. He was not told however how to dress for the party, so he did not change and went to the destination without footwear. Unbeknownst to him, he was actually well dressed for the occasion already.

He was told the destination was Rose Garden, a richer area if his memory served him as well as it usually did. Before literally running to the event, he checked over his attire to ensure he was presentable. His usual attire was of a Middle Eastern style, from the white cloth pants to the cloth wrapped loosely around his body to the golden braces adorning his wrists and ankles. With the way Yamamoto looked, he could pull off being a delegate from Egypt or Arabia. Looking in order, the man headed out on foot for Rose Garden; if he left now, he will have made it to the event ten minutes early.

In the beginning, he started with a light jog until he arrived at the train station that has trains running to Rose garden, and then once he got there, he started a full run along the train tracks. At the pace he was going, he was going to arrive at the destination within two hours, which would have put him at ten or so minutes ahead of schedule. His long stride allowed him to catch a nice breeze while gliding through the air. The armor he wore was light, and the cloth on him was flexible so it did not provide any resistance. The perfect evening for a long run.

Upon arriving at the destination, there was a bit of a line already formed. Hero ensured before he left that he had his pass to get inside; he went ahead to the front of the line, showed his pass to the two security guards and walked inside. The tiled floor was cool and smooth which was refreshing compared to the run on gravel just a bit ago. Once inside, the towering man was greeted by a young woman in a long dress.

"Good evening, sir. Would you like a drink?"

"I'm sorry, miss, but I'm not here for the party. I will be ensuring that this wedding goes well as planned with the rest of the members of the Rune Knights."

Hero nodded with a straight face in the woman's direction and walked past her, focused entirely on the task at hand. The important part about the evening had not even begun yet, but part of the man's duty was to watch for anyone suspicious that came into the building inconspicuously. If it was someone who did not want the wedding to happen, then there was also the chance that the culprits would bust right in; he had to be ready for that as well. There was no time for enjoyment in this type of scenario. After a few moments, Hero began taking casual strolls around the building while it began to fill up more and more with people. It was likely the other members of the Knights were dressed for the occasion, which meant he wasn't going to know who was who until the time came.

All the man could do at this point was wait.

“Man this wine is pretty good.” Cameron spoke to his lavender clad companion. The Merlot was a bit on the dry side, burned like crazy, yet it had a subtle nutty feel to it. Cameron enjoyed a good nutty taste, the sweetness always had a way of bringing a smile to his face. He sipped the rest that was in his glass, draining it, like a good old fashioned drunkard. Cameron would have preferred to go back for another glass. Except he did not want to get too sloshed before this wedding, it would be embarrassing if a hidden superior saw him here. “So will you be here for………….”

Cameron was interrupted before he could finish, the preacher shouting to be heard of the sounds in the hall.“Ladies, Gentlemen, esteemed mages of the kingdom of Fiore. I kindly ask that you may take your seats so we may begin the wedding ceremony.” Roman appeared behind the priest, hands clasped in front of him, waiting for the procession to start. Cameron sat down in his front row seat. The white satin seats felt deliciously soft, almost making him want to hijack the chair when he leaves. Wagner's march started playing in the background, as the last stragglers took their seat. A soft smell started to fill the air, making Cameron a nervous. If someone wanted to attack with scents they could be doing it now. Nope, instead Cameron turned around to see Julie walking down the aisle. She looked beautiful, her mermaid style dress, trailed behind her, making her look like a goddess. She took her sweet time walking. Guess the dress must have been hard to move in. After another minute of her walking she finally reached the alter. To which the priest started “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Roman Gue and Julie Lett in holy matrimony, which is an honorable estate, that is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and soberly.” Half a minute in and Cam was already getting bored out of his mind.”Into this estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any one can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.”

“Good thing he is not that stupid.” Cameron whispered to himself. Cameron was not the only one to look back and check. The entire hall looked back to see if anyone would enter. The ex could be rude enough to disrupt this wedding later, even if everyone thinks he would have tried to do it now. As far as Cam was thinking looking at everyone else watch the door expectantly.

“Harm hum” the priest cleared his throat before continuing. “Now Roman, you have prepared your own vows to profess.”

Roman looked at his wife to be bashfully before starting. “ I take you, Julie, to be my lawfully wedded wife. Before these witnesses I vow to love you and care for you as long as we both shall live.  I take you, with all your faults and your strengths, as I offer myself to you with my faults and my strengths. I will help you when you need help, and will turn to you when I need help. I choose you as the person with whom I will spend my life.”

“Now” the priests turn towards Julie. “Do you have the vows you wish to speak upon your husband?”

“I Julie take thee Roman to be my wedded husband, before these witnesses I vow to love you and care for you as long as we both shall live.  I take you, with all your faults and your strengths, as I offer myself to you with my faults and my strengths. I will help you when you need help, and will turn to you when I need help. I choose you as the person with whom I will spend my life.  To have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, honor, and cherish, 'til death do us part.” Her words rang clear as a bell. She neither hesitated, nor looked away from Roman with her loving gaze. It was pure love that was beautiful and sickening at the same time.

The grounds shook all of a sudden, an explosion could be heard closer to the door. “Are you freaking serious!” The wedding was almost over and now they wanted to make a move. To say Cameron was upset now would be an understatement. As a bit of smoke filled the hall, Cameron stood up and slowly moved to the back, shifting his clothes into the standard Rune Knight attire. It may have been his day off but duty called, in a more personal matter.

    ISAAC ANICETUS
    MAN OF THE LAW

A few minutes were spent relaxing in his corner, sipping on his exquisite wine as the scattered wedding guests would chat and mumble, preparations in the chapel nearing finished. But people enjoyed themselves regardless, or perhaps it was normal for citizens of Rise Garden to be so embracing of happiness. It had seemed that every other place he has been to begged to differ.

But with a gentle sigh, he took another sip of his sweet wine, not sipping it to savor the taste but to maintain his boundaries; he didn't have the highest tolerance, and getting drunk at a party would not only be rude, but would be neglecting the mission. This was a duty, not a party.

With that noted, the preacher had beckoned the crowd into the chapel, inviting the guests in so the wedding ceremony could commence. The Preacher, an older man, aged but not too aged, would lead the group into the chapel as everyone would take their seats, giggling and cheering and fawning over the exquisite wedding designs and theme, while men would gossip about the groom's wear, women resisting temptation to touch all the expensive flower vases and losing etiquette.

Isaac would follow close behind with a rather stern, unimpressed expression. True, the chapel did give off a happy-happy, lovey dovey atmosphere, and was relatively pleasant to be in, he remained idle and undistracted, taking a seat in the third to last row of benches, to the left of the room, where the bride would walk.

At this point, he was quietly holding his wine, many others were as well, and it was acceptable at this point, but he decided not to take any sips as the wedding proceeded.

The Groom, who allegedly went by Roman, gave his vows, no vow being any different from normal ones. The Bride didn't do any better, her vows were even shorter, apparently. For a couple so in love, he'd think they'd be a little more passionate and original with such lines but he decided not to grieve over it.

But, ironically just after they said their vows, the door would burst off of it's hinges in a deafening explosion of cheap explosives! A small puff of smoke would arise from the bomb and what emerged from the smoke were a group of skinny (Some looking muscular and completely ripped...) and large men, twelve at most. Bearing no arms, they apparently emitted a mediocre magical presence.

So these guys are wizards, huh?... Isaac would think to himself before tearing his wedding attire from his body to reveal his Rune Knight uniform, glaring at the group.

"You guys got some nerve showing up here. I will give you ten seconds to turn back and leave before someone gets hurt." He warned them sternly, no tone in his voice giving them an opportunity to humor with him.

The wedding guests and couple would cower and hide under appliances with their arms holding their head, silent but panicking. Isaac would turn back to them and give them no other look than what he had, "Please remain calm, everyone!" He announced, no one responding.

The group, however, would only begin to mumble and giggle and snicker, one man, alleged leader of that particular group (Who happened to be really skinny), walked up to the Rune Knight with a smug grin on his face, placing a hand on his chest and pushing him provokingly.

"Oh yeah? Whatcha gonna do if we don't, pretty little police officer?" He turned back to his group, looking for support in the form of laughter, of which they did just as planned.

"We don't have to listen to you, dirty Rune Knight scum! Ha! A bigger, bearded man would jeer until the whole group joined in. By this time, ten seconds have already passed.

"ReQuip: Betties..." Isaac would whisper under his breath, closing his eyes and sighing, his weaponry, bladed tonfas with shotgun installed into them, forming to his arms.

The skinny man, who turned back to him with a ugly, flustered look, frowned, and didn't seem to notice the forming weaponry.

"Eh? Bett-whats? What did you say, you ugly little-- !!!!"

In a matter of seconds, Isaac would raise an arm, thrust and uppercut the sheathed-bladed tonfa directly into his stomach, his body flying across the room, into the busted door, and out the chapel until he hit the nearest wall, cracking it with a trembling body.

"That's Sir to you." Isaac would glare with unforgiving eyes, the blades of his tonfa now coming into place.

The group, only some fazed, would pause for a moment and give him nasty looks before scanning the chapel. One would say, "There are a bunch of'em! Get them all! While others would cheer and let out their battle cries.

Isaac, on the other hand, stayed in the front, waiting to be attacked, the thrown leader, seemingly unconscious for a moment.

Isaac would chuckle and ready for battle, stretching and mocking their power, "I invite the challenge."

Post by Hero Yamamoto 19th May 2016, 5:11 pm

A few more times in the following minutes, women came up and asked if he wanted some wine and he rejected every time without hesitation. He did feel a little bit bad, but it was necessary for him to remain vigilant. When he finally stopped circling the inner ceremony area, he sighed and stood near the entrance against the wall. Not wearing shoes might have been a bad idea after all, he thought to himself as he looked down at his bare feet. While he personally preferred being barefooted,  everyone at this event was wearing tuxedoes, long pants and fancy shoes, which made him feel a tiny bit underdressed. The guy stuck out like a sore thumb in the large crowd of people in the area, so it was actually convenient that he ended up near the entrance way when he stopped walking around.

As Yamamoto looked down, the sounds of happy voices bouncing back and forth were drowned out by his own thoughts of the past. Honestly speaking, Hero was a man ruled by his past. His past made him who he was currently and shaped the way he viewed his life as a whole. After all, he did not join the Rune Knights because he wanted to protect people or because he wanted to keep the legal wizards in line. He joined because he needed the power they possessed in order to attain what he lost, or at least attempt to find it. Recently though, it occurred to him. What happened once he found what he was looking for? The man did not have an answer. Only a compromise. The Rune Knights were going to become an outlet for him to become stronger, and until he found what he was looking for, he was not going to think about what came after. At the time, however, he did not know the cost of the strength he needed.

A louder, more serious voice echoed through the building and awoke the man from his troubling thoughts; he could not help but feel thankful for the distraction. An elderly-looking man stood in front of the altar, and then the ceremony began with everyone set down in chairs. An organ started sounding, which meant that the bride and groom were going to be entering soon, though Hero did not much care for events like these. The music was a nice touch, but everything else was brutally boring and unnecessary. Why do people have to spend thousands of jewel just to celebrate a male and female signing a legal contract? I don't understand that concept. Regardless, he leaned against the wall and pretended to watch the ceremony while observing the area.

After some amount of time that Hero did not bother to count, it seemed the ceremony was getting close to ending finally. However, he felt a presence outside. He was not very good at detecting ethernano, but even he was able to tell from this distance that there was malicious intent right outside. In preparation of whatever was going to happen, he motioned for the guards near the entrance to move away from the double doors and readied himself by digging his feet into the tile surface under his bare feet. Finally some action. I thought I was going to die here. His face remained serious, focused and calm even as the doors exploded off from the walls and several gang-like men walked in obviously to crash the party. He paid no attention to what the goons were saying, but he did recognize the uniforms of two other Knights. One of them blew a goon straight out of the hole they just made. The man yelled out to the other two members then.

"Make sure you bind them after you beat them. Don't want any of them to escape and do more damage!"

The man then dashed forward, leaving cracks in the tile, and used the momentum to carry a fist to one of the goons. The force of the hit knocked the goon back into a wall; from the left side, a slimmer goon punched him in the side. Hero did not budge but he definitely felt it. Oi. He shook his head twice in disappointment before using his left elbow to smash his face; the force was enough to make the goon buckle back and flip backward. After doing so, he stepped back a couple of times before any others could land hits on him.

    "Oi-oi-oi! That's two more! There's... 9 of you left."

The towering giant was starting to get pumped. Their introduction was great relief for the boredom from the ceremony. Hopefully they were going to put up a good challenge for three Rune Knights. It was good that the peacekeepers' side managed to get a good head start on the group. The real fight was just about to start.

“One...Two..Four….Nine….Twelve….” Cameron stopped to count the bad guys for a second.

He did not have ADHD or anything. Cameron just prefers to make sure everything was in order. It was both a blessing and a curse, that he saw a familiar uniform ahead of him. A blessing because the man was drop dead gorgeous. Hair as white as snow, a slightly more darkened complexion then he would like, and a body that moved with a sensual feel to it. The man was major eye candy. The curse part as soon as the other Knight saw the intruders, he went full on commando. Hitting a guy with a weird stick looking thing. Who jumps right into a brawl without taking in the situation first

. “This guy must be a major block head.” He whispers under his breath.

Still he took a second and thought about the stick thing, always taking an interest in future allies or enemies. The guy must use some type of Requip magic or the sticks changes with his body, that would explain the object's appearance all of a sudden. Unless Cameron missed the entire time, which is really doubtful.

In the middle of Cameron’s thoughts, shouting can be heard in the background. A civilian by the looks of it was telling the Rune Knight to type up the offenders. The civilian man started to crack the ground, dashing forward to land an impressive punch to a lackey’s face; before turning to smash another one, dropping the underlings like flies. Normally Cameron would have a problem with a civilian handling Rune Knight work, it took away from his pay. Not to mention having to fill out the paperwork for a third party affiliate mage; if this mage was not registered with a guild, then he would have to try and arrest the guy. This man looked like he chugged steroids for snacktime. By the looks of it, if Cameron had to take him on. It would not be an easy battle, with Cameron more than likely to lose. Maybe he could get the weapon wielding Rune Knight to take him on.

Cracks started to form all around the back wall where the thug was thrown. Judging by how these two fight, it would be pointless to help. On the downside this hall may not be intact afterwards. Getting the people out should be his main concern. A Rune Knight does not always have to fight.  Cameron reached into his pocket to pull out his magic key.

“Open the Gate of the Winged Horse: Pegasus!”

Out came his favorite winged equestrian. Rearing for battle, sensing the room's mood. Pointing to the side of the room by the alter Cameron gave Pegasus the command to knock down the wall. Stay inside and help the people clear the hall. The winged stallion trotted over and gave the wall the old one-to-hoof before turning into his human guise.

“Okay everyone follow me and clear the hall!”

With that Cameron was the first one out. Making sure the alley way was safe. The first ones right behind him was the bride and groom. Making them the top priority was one of the objectives for the mission. Cameron should have made sure they made it out first. Luckily Pegasus was inside clearing the hall any way. He got closer to them to make sure if anything would happen he could react to it.

He barely had enough time to react when his space went off. The wave magic entered from above; Cameron had grabbed the bride and groom to push them out the way. Instead diving to the side to avoid the magic all together.

“Hey little dog. Stay out the way and let me kill them. That wench broke my heart.” Cameron spotted the figure behind the voice after it spoke. Looking at a young man, with brown hair, and an obviously drunk expression. Cameron summoned his weapon and prepared. Even while drunk this man was clearly the strongest thug and Julie’s ex.
“Everyone continue towards the street. Julie and Roman stay low.” He shouted without turning around. This was not a fight Cam thought he could win.

Tybalt as the goon was called, half fell, half lept down to the alley. Making a crater has his magic cushioned the fall. Cameron threw his Chastefoil to impale him. Tybalt deftly caught it as if it was nothing. “Wave magic has multiple uses. Like slowing down some objects to catching speed.” Tybalt held the spear parallel to his body. “I guess this is mine now!”

Cameron smiled before waving his fingers in a circular motion. Causing the Chastefoil to spin and smack Tybalt in the face. As soon as it was free, the spear returned to Cameron’s hands.

“Nice trick. Magic Council Pony! Try this on for size” As soon as the words came out. Tybalt launched a massive wave of, well wave magic out of him.

    MAN OF THE LAW

Frankly, Isaac did expect some reckless thugs to show up this this party. Yes, he expected for his fellow Rune Knights to unknowingly accompany him in this quest to vanquish the paranoia the soon-to-be-newly-weds had been burdened with. And yes, he did expect to practically destroy the chapel in the process. What he did not expect was an alleged seven foot tall man to charge into the scene and knock two hooligans off their feet with his massive body. Isaac couldn't help but force his eyes off of him for the mere fact e couldn't afford to get distracted and have them damage more property.

Self-conscious, Isaac proceeded to fix his gaze to the feud of thugs who would stand there infuriated, but motionless. "T-The hell you think you doin' to our plan, buddy?! I'll scratch you up!" One would announce, an icy aura beginning to engulf his hands as a large, threateningly large shard of ice would form, and launch at Isaac.

Unimpressed, but not underestimating the seriousness of the situation, Isaac would then equip the blades of his shotgun tonfas, lunging towards the shard and cleanly slicing through it with a simple strike, the shard bursting into nothing but chilly specks. - The wizard, however though unfazed, barraged him with these shards, while two others would join in with their respective elements of fire. - However, with simply quickly thinking, he calculated about six projectiles heading his way. Luckily, with the chapel evacuated, no one would get hurt.

But being a stationary unit to ranged targets would be an endless cycle of countering and attacking, and on that note, with nimble feet, he charged forward while in the midst of slicing through the projectiles with ease and speed. It was only moments that he advanced so close to them, it was point blank.

"W-What the...!?!" The scrawny, reckless thug would curse under his breath at the sudden distance that the Rune Knight closed with such little time, Isaac's finger tightly gripped around the trigger and pushed twice on either weapon, four bullets fired, while two of them (Who were unwisely tight-knit rather than scattered) hit, the scrawny one in the stomach, while the other quickly groaned to his hit eye, both quickly tending to the wounds by wrapping their arms around their stomach and tightly gripping a bloody eye, completely leaving themselves vulnerable to defeat bestowed by the Rune Knight before them.

Isaac would sigh, still poised for offense, "If you're going to go through the trouble to bluff, then at least do better at trying to live up to your doings."

With that, both delinquents, who stood horizontally parallel from one another, were struck with the bladed tonfa twice in the chest, him leaving 'X'-like wounds in their upper bodies.

"GYAAAAH!" The scrawny one would scream before he and his colleague would drop to the the chapel tile (Which was frighteningly cracking beneath the redhead's feet), bloody and defeated. - The other fire wizard, who watched painfully, grit his teeth together, infuriated by the events that just happened, he lunged towards Isaac with a fiery fist engulfed in embers.

Not surprised by the recklessness of the thug, Isaac quickly turned to face the delinquent with little to no mercy in his eyes, quickly diving underneath his arm and uppercutting the hooligan directly beneath his jaw, quickly pressing the trigger to fire four bullets into his skull, sending him flying up into air until his body smacked against the roof of the chapel, dropping to the tile near the pile of the other defeated guests.

Isaac would stretch, particularly crack his neck, and rub the nape of his neck, boringly. "If I had known I was going to be quarreling with insolent delinquents with power mediocre, at best, I would've preferred they hired a child for this activity."

He mocked them, all three grudgingly fainting, the other thug in the near distance waking up from his state and attempting to recollect himself.

The brunette turned to face the large, massive-in-height peer and chuckled, completely ignoring the remaining delinquents. "My, my, good sir. How massive you are in height. Quite the sight, I daresay. I beg pardon, but enlighten me with some of your skills?" He spoke with a blank expression, almost smiling. - Though, he spoke with an olden-influence, it was something he has used for centuries.

There were two down and the giant of a man had not broken a sweat. He was not just about to lose hope though. There was still a chance that these goons were going to put up a good fight against him. There was one problem plaguing him however: where was the maggot who hired these numbskulls to crash the party? Now that it was thought of, the other guy who was wearing a standard Rune Knight uniform evacuated the civilians from the chapel and also left after that. Was that one taking on the big bad boss by himself? Logically speaking, that was probably the case, unless the guy was a fruitcake and ran. Regardless, Hero returned to the task at hand which was to put the revolt to sleep by force. As he was about to, though, he saw one goon fly up and crash into the ceiling before he fell back to the floor. The man then looked to the right and determined that the cause of that attack was that man using ReQuip Magic, which seemed pretty effective. Eventually, that man spoke to Hero in a somewhat old manner about his size and asked if the giant could show him his skills.

Initially, Hero was slightly perplexed at the notion but quickly came to the conclusion that it was unnecessary to mull over unnecessary things. Hero's face remained calm, though he did nod slightly in the man's direction as to say 'sure I'll give you a taste'. The man sighed quietly and then let his entire body relax. The one thing left in his mind then was 'kick the bastards into a cell and let them rot'.

"OI! The wizard over there says he wants to see my skills. Step on up, you brainless, spineless maggots. Here's a handicap. I'll let one of you hit me four times, and then I'll return the favor afterward."

It was easy to get idiots like them angry, just a few bad words and bam. They would not have been able to think about anything else. First rule of fighting was to suck one's opponent into one's rhythm and then beat them senseless. Surely enough, one of the bigger knuckleheads ran at the giant and sent a knee up into his chest, which made Hero buckle but not fall. That's one. Then an elbow came down on his back and brought him to the ground. That's two. After Hero was on the ground, the goon stomped on his back and then kicked him in the side. The goon stepped back then and the others in the group started laughing, saying that the giant was trash and nothing but talk. Yamamoto slowly brought himself up to his feet, his body super loose then from getting smacked around by the brute. The giant was definitely hurting in the places he was hit, but he had a way of counteracting the pain. By increasing his heart rate he forced himself into an adrenaline state that was controlled, so the pain he felt was dulled and allowed him to move unhindered my mental limits.

"That's five times you shitheads have hit me."

As he said that he leapt two steps toward the goon who smacked him around and landed a straight punch to his throat, then after that threw a left uppercut to his stomach. As a finisher, Hero landed a spartan kick on top of the goon's head, which not only knocked him out cold but sent him flying back as well. The giant became the beast in mere moments. He forgot about the other Knight who was in the chapel as well, and went after the rest of the idiots without mercy. The next target was the recently woken idiot who got knocked out the chapel by the other Knight; that one was the next closest goon, so naturally, the choice was already made. A few more leaps ahead led him to the target but the goon was geared for the giant and moved to the man's right. Wrong move, numbskull. One more leap to move past the goon was just enough space for Hero to perform a perfect lariat and sent the maggot flipping backward before he landed on the ground.

Just when he did that, the two he knocked down earlier started to get back up; before they could regain their bearings, Hero ran to the one against the wall and rammed his right knee into his forehead. Then, before he could get surrounded by the rest of the group he kicked the goon, who was getting up from being on the ground, in the face on his way across the doorway and out of the group's range. Due to the adrenaline having gone on for so long, the man did not realize that the whole time fighting he was taking hits here and there from some of the other wizards. To still be standing at this point was purely due to the adrenaline and his force of will. Hopefully, the other Knight would be able to handle the rest without the giant's help. Hero, while away from the group and closer to the other Knight, forced his heart rate back to a stable speed and fell on his ass. The man needed a little bit of rest if he was going to be of anymore use here.

"Seems I still have a long way to go. Think you can handle the rest?"

The difference between strength was exceedingly clear. Tybalt was leagues ahead of him. Playing around with Cameron, as if he got some sick enjoyment from it. The masochist in Cameron enjoyed it immensely. Strong mages that looked as Tybalt was a rarity. Even drunk and flushed, he looked pretty good. Not as sexy as mister blaster knight in the wedding hall. Still good looking in his own right.

Cameron dived to the side, as he came back to his own senses. The wave magic hitting his foot, it stung like small little needles prickling his skin. Cameron felt his magic stop, Chastefoil disappeared, and Pegasus’s key glowed. Great! Not only does the guy have some serious wave magic. His magic also has an anti-magic effect. Cameron started to focus, realizing he needed an alternate solution, or he was going to die.

“Wait!” Cameron held up his empty hands. “I know you got hurt, but why get so angry about it. You are such a sexy guy, obviously strong, and charismatic. Why ruin your life by fighting me. Doing all this will make you an enemy of Fiore.”

Tybalt stopped to stare at Cameron, looking as if Cameron sported three heads. Either Tybalt was not that bright or he was more sloshed then Cameron actually thought. The fact that Tybalt stopped attacking was a decent sign. Unless Tybalt meant to continue but just stopped since he is drunk, and normally when attacking people they do not talk about the thing that angers the attacker. Like having a person that robs banks, being told they need an extra 2,000 to pay for health insurance It makes them more desperate and likely to rob the place.

“She left me.” Finally he was getting articulant again. “I have known Julie since childhood. We have always been best friends, being so close, practically being a family. When I told her how I felt. After so long! She said yes to dating me. Imagine the joy a blind man can feel, seeing the sun for the first time. Julie was my sun. We were close then she just dumps me! Turns around and gets engaged to this bastard. I tried to be okay with it. The poison of this betrayal growing inside of me. Being honest with you dog. I do not care what happens to me but I will never let Julie abandon me.”

Cameron felt a tightness in his chest. A pain of empathy as he felt the hurt of the opponent in front of him. He had enough time to be calm, so he could use his gift. His Rune Knight uniform started changing turning into a frilly white dress. His hair grew longer turning a dark brunette, while his body proportions grew into a 36-24-36. By the time he was done he looked like a better version of Julie, with a more pronounced figure.

Tybalt rubbed his eyes, thinking the liquor must have really messed up his senses. The dude now looked like a she and hot. Cameron approached the confused Tybalt who momentarily let his guard down. Cameron’s could start to feel his magic come back, so Tybalt’s effect was temporary. Cameron felt the rest of the guests leave his area a moment ago, if any of them were still in the alley, Cam could not say.

“I am sorry!” Cam said sounding like a perfect imitation of the bride.

Tybalt held out his hand, as Cameron felt himself flying back into a wall, his back flying into the concrete, making a hole as he entered the chapel. “You think I wanted some type of cheap imitation.”

If transforming took any of Cameron’s magic he would have reverted back to himself. When the wave magic hit him in the chest, it broke his concentration to his gift. Meaning he would be unable to shift for a bit. Cameron could never shift in battle conditions because he had to be calm any way. Fighting in a form like this, with such a restricting dress, in such an awful color, made battle hard.

Cameron was a bit dazed and confused, laying on his back, inside the building. He turned his head to see the requip knight and the other guy. Looks like the other guy was taking a break as Requip put the hurting on. Cam thought about staying down as well. Areas of pain throbbed all over his body, in some seconds the pain throbbed at once, making his entire body feel like a pulse. Cam laid there, feeling Tybalt enter his space and get closer. He did not really feel like moving so he decided to play possum. Requiping Chastiefol near the ceiling this time.

    ISAAC ANICETUS
    MAN OF THE LAW

Now, there wasn't much to say about what just happened. And to be honest, it was perhaps the most disturbingly unentertaining, simple, and mediocre brawl he had ever quarreled in. He expected much more from a group of amateur wizards, twelve of them, to say the least. All together, they equaled a power greater than his, and could easily fend him off with team coordination and communication, of which they did not have. They only had ears ready to listen for battle cries, eyes seeking the foul sight of bloodshed, and mouths only good for talking filth. It was truly a despicable, unpleasant scene, but he did not bother to question it.

With only five remaining wizards, Isaac had proceeded to shoot the perfectly aligned mages a menacing glare, unintentionally, of course. He typically had a cold gaze with his body of his, and often seemed unapproachable because of it. But he didn't always look like this. In fact, only but centuries ago did he have a completely different appearance. That was not the case anymore, and probably never would be, in his mind at least. But he found comfort that his face was labeled as menacing rather than nothing, it sure aided his reputation and made villains steer clear of the Rune Knight.

"Y-You bastard! You're just Rune Knight SCUM!" An ice wizard would holler before Isaac would charge at him and his comrades, his tonfas poised and ready for action. "Hyaaaaahh!!" The group shouted, a barrage of elements in shard-form, barraging his way.

Unfortunately, he was not aiming for the shards, but rather that individual mage. With the superior speed overwhelming the projectiles, Isaac had dashed forth and away from the attacks with ease, and uppercutting him with the unsheathed blade, straight into his jaw. The wizard grunted in an extraordinary pain, teeth shattering out of his mouth and blood busting out of his lip as he fell to the ground, twitching. Again, Isaac would proceed to thrust the blade to his stomach about three or so more times, leaving him bloody and unconscious.

But just then, two other mages would fire at him with their elemented projectiles, soon to meet the same fate as their friend.

Isaac dashed at the two with superior speed, leaping up just lightly and slashing his tonfa-blade across their chests, twice, forming an 'X'-shaped wound. The two groaned and stumbled to the ground in a painful fit, Isaac however, mercilessly stepping on their wounds and thrusting his blade in those same wounds until they both fell unconscious. "Bastard!!" The remaining two would scream before sending all the projectiles their body could possibly handle.

Isaac, in the same way, dashed towards the two, and lunging his tonfa-blade to their jaws. One with a busted lip, the other who just, right then and there, fell down, grunted, as Isaac proceeded to strike them until they fell faint. "Tie these men up before they wake, they have the stubbornness of a horse." Isaac had ordered his fellow colleagues, while proceeding to the ruckus outside.

Isaac would sigh, waving a hand at his fellow redheaded rune knight, signalling his disperse. "Now where is that other fie-..."

    BWOOSH!

Just then, oh yes, just then, a body had been sent straight through a newly forged hole in the chapel in a fiery angst, rubble, stone and marble alike, flying back with him.

Isaac, just for a moment, stood there with a comical blank expression, not particularly sure to how to process how awfully convenient what just happened at that particular moment.

    "...Oh. Well..."

That was pretty much all he could say. There wasn't much to say about what just happened, but he let it happen all the same.

"Well, sir, I suppose today wasn't the day to strike, eh? I apologize for the inconvenience, but your mayhem ends here." Isaac turned to face Tybalt, who was pleasantly in a divine anger, but, not furious.

Tybalt, however, turned to face him with irritated eyes. "You have no idea how I feel, bastard! What do you know?!" He would clench his fist and display a pulse of his magic, though, failing to intimidate Isaac.

"I'd figure I'd know better than anyone else what you are feeling. If you truly loved someone, you would be able to support their happiness, even if you did not agree with it. Not only is that a friend, that is what makes a human being, being. I suppose you fail to realize what jealousy and remorse has given you, both emotions inevitable to dodge, but possible to maintain. When you fail to maintain it, it backfires and manipulates you to execute things like this that only come back to haunt you. Much loss, no gain. Perhaps you do not understand this concept now, but in time you will. - I promise that you will one day come to terms with your negativity in see the light in eternal peace, which only you can grant. This hurdle you seek out to vanquish, this bride, is not the hurdle. It is but yourself. If you wish to jump over the hurdle you must first learn to jump. To jump, you must run. To run, you must walk, to walk, you must crawl. To crawl, you must live. I'fraid that you'll meet a political and just fate today, good sir, and may peace be with you."

Isaac saluted him, hand over the heart while arm behind the back. With that, he readied his tonfa-blades and charged with a superior speed.

"Like hell it'll happen! HYAAAAH!" Tybalt had shrieked, sending out a blade-like wave of his magical energy.

Leaping over it, Isaac had landed just onto his chest with his right, outstretched foot, kicking him down to the ground and striking him to the amount of five to the chest.

    "Gyaaaah...!!"

Isaac sighed, de-summoning his requipped weaponry and picking Tybalt up by the collar of his outfit, tossing him back to the pile of defeated enemies.

"Tie him up, tight. I'll wait here for someone to come pick them up." He announced, taking a seat on a large piece of stone that had been blown off the walls.

"My, my... how will the Rune Knights fund the redo of this chapel and the wedding? Well, not my problem, I suppose. Heh..." He chuckled, leaning back and gazing out of the sunlit hole, only to lightly whisper to himself,

    "I promise."

Post by Hero Yamamoto 8th June 2016, 10:15 pm

Is this really... all I am capable of right now? The giant sat motionless on the broken up floor, mulling over his clear weakness. It was a simple reality that he was not the strongest Wizard out there, but to know now that he was so weak that this group of thugs managed to bring him down this far was truly humiliating.

This was around the time that Hero really began to understand the meaning of strength and just how important it was for him to attain as much strength as possible. A deep desire welled up within him from that night and onward that would eventually send him hurtling into the future he was destined from birth to tackle. At that time, the man knew only one thing for certain, and that was this: he needed to become stronger so that he could administer true justice upon the corrupt and the wicked for the sake of the just and the pure. The reality of that however was still far from his grasp at this point. A sacrifice had to be paid for the strength he wanted to attain.

Yamamoto sat still for a time, completely zoned in on his thoughts of weakness, until then he heard the voice of the Requip Wizard whom was initially next to him. Hero brought himself to his feet and cleared his mind of his self-failure so that he could do as was asked of him by the other Wizard who was already starting to walk away while waving to the giant. He acknowledged it without a word uttered and tied them up tightly with the torn but usable fabrics lying around the place. After a few moments of doing so, there was some commotion nearby though he didn't go to take a look at what it was about. Each pair of hands and feet were bound tightly and then one longer, sturdier piece of fabric was used to bind them all into one neat little pile of trash. Moments after rounding all twelve of them up, one more guy came flying into the area, and the giant managed to catch him by the arm; he then pig-tied the guy so he wouldn't cause anymore trouble since it seemed this one was the leader of the thugs.

The end to a relatively long night had finally arrived, though he had no intention of leaving all these guys unattended, save for the one other Rune Knight.

"I'm not sure, but at least the two who took them all out need to stay and face the guys who we'll have to report this to."
