Magna, for once, was not in the kitchen of Black Rose. Nor was he out on a mission. He was instead sitting in his room in a meditative state focusing on the animal spirits that resided within him. Recently, they had begun to be a bit more vocal and he had almost had them manifest entirely when he had entered his equivalent of force for the first time. It seemed that the twin monkeys dubbed Toasty and Frosty by him were no the only spirit that resided within him now. The cerberus slayer lacrima had seemingly added a third or manipulated his own soul to form a third spirit. This one was canine in appearance and was almost werewolf like. This was one he was trying to learn about this time, but also the others. The more he used their powers it seemed the more they would make their presence felt. Both Toasty and Frosty had requested him to journey to locations recently and Toasty's had almost got him killed. He needed to know why Toasty had taken him there. Was it so he could encounter the members of the Withered Lotus? But if it was then how had it known?
As he was sitting there a knock came at his door and he sighed in irritation lifting himself up on his hands and flipping over onto his feet heading for the door. He opened it slowly, but no-one was present. He raised an eyebrow and then noted that opposite his room door a note had been pinned to the wall. He headed over to it and pulled it off the wall reading it slowly. It was a message from the magic council but something seemed off about it. The details however peaked his interest. A seven year old child with the power of an A rank mage who had wiped out a guild by herself? That was a child that needed to be stopped one way or another. Capture was preferable by him and probably by the magic council and that was what he'd go for.
However, the message did worry him. An A rank class mage who could take out a guild was a major threat. He wasn't sure he could handle that solo and yet he didn't have time to go and track down his usual mission partners. Shade, from what he remembered, was away from the guild on a mission herself and he didn't want to bother Jiyu too often, especially after their last job where he had been forced to treat her as a dog to prevent her attacking him. She still hadn't got her revenge. For this reason he headed down to the main tavern area to look for anyone who might be able to help with the job. It was pretty quiet, but a few were about.
"Hey there. Anyone want to come on a mission with me...C rank mages and above only." It would be too dangerous to take a D rank on it though he'd of course try his best to protect them if they did tag along. He'd rather have a higher ranked mage, but whoever came along would be useful.
