Having originally visited Ace of Spades to buy some herbs for his summoner to use, Pyro had found himself stopping at a sparring arena for swordsmen. The exact reason why he was possessed to divert from his original path so greatly was still evading him, but that small thing did nothing to stop him from coming. Inside he saw a great deal of men all practicing with each other, but after scanning the room he'd noticed there was one person who had no partner. He was unsure of whether it was because the other men had deemed her too weak to fight because she was a woman, or if they honestly had all paired up before she arrived herself.
Not looking like much of a swordsman, Pyro had entered the arena and grabbed one of the training swords from the wall. Beginning his approach, Pyro had locked in on the woman while eyes her pink, long hair that dangled from a pony tail all the way down past her knees. She wore a skirt that was quite short, but the rest of her attire had worked with it to still produce an appearance that called for respect. Standing far enough away to not be breathing down her neck, but close enough so he wouldn't have to shout; Pyro has cleared his throat before saying in a calm, respectful manner. "Excuse me miss... I noticed you didn't have anyone to face. I'm not too good, but if you can look past that I'd be willing to partner up with you? Oh, name's Pyro by the way."
Pyro took a fighting stance that was as basic as it got. His legs were spread to balance his weight, and he was holding the blade with both hands at the grip. He showed no sign of having much, if any, experience wielding a sword. If Sylvia, who's name Pyro wouldn't know unless she introduced herself, would charge him and make an attack, she would notice that his stance might have been alright but he was truly as weak as it got. If she would cross blades with Pyro, she would actually send him to the floor in a single strike.
