So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Clutching his blade tight, Ardere stared down the young girl. Before she could make her move, he focused his god slaying energy into a form. A black aura shimmered across his body, as his orange glowing eyes turned red. Inferno Drive. His speed and fire magic capabilities were increased, not like his force, but enough to make a difference. It would make his armor, and his sword ability stronger. This was fortunate, as his armor moved at his speed, and would need the durability in the coming attacks. Even with his increased reaction time, there was not much he could do to stop the oncoming wave. Gripping Clarent with a death grip, a sphere of black flames formed around his body, blocking the wave. A King's Defense. He was sent skidding back a few meters, but he had avoided taking the damage. It was at this time that an onslaught of attacks came from his enemies. You can break my body. Utilizing the massive flame blade in his hand, the fire mage struck at the scythe wielder with an intense speed that he highly doubted the man could dodge. All the while his samurai armor was utilizing the increased speed of his form to wreak havoc on the young girl, and any of her surroundings. Noticing Raiza enter the fray covered in his aura, the guild master quickly formed these flames around the aura, creating a pocket, to avoid some continuous damage for the time being.

You can break my mind. Sliding in while the array of attacks came towards him, he attempted to grab Za'cha on the arm. Moving his flames around the pillar with the aura, he was able to avoid one of the sword strikes. Using his superior strength and speed, he hid behind his opponent, to avoid most of Raiza's gun shots, albeit a couple struck his arms, but stuck his flame sword out to try and damage the pillar of screams as well, unfortunately exposing his arm. The sword strikes would not prove much use as these were non-physical flames, but the bullets he had to try and avoid. Sadly, Ardere's armor had taken a beating. The only reason it had even survived this round of attacks was due to his Inferno Drive increasing it's power. He was quite certain that it would not make it very far in the upcoming moves. During this burst of attacks, the fire mage still attempted to hold onto Za'cha, continuously dealing damage to him with the black flames, but dashed backwards with an intense speed to avoid more hits. But no matter how hard you try. You cannot break my will. During these attacks, and even still using his samurai armor's sword, the Fire King utilized his pyrokinesis. Manipulating his own flames, he sent ten meters worth of flames at the young girl. She could choose to dodge this or block this, but it was quite fast and quite potent. It was at this time that a flaming phoenix would soar down into the courtyard, hiding behind the massive Samurai Armor of flames. If his grip had worked the entire time, it would be at about this time that the guild master let go out of the scythe wielder and suck in a large amount of flames coming from his phoenix, across her back, and from her beak. It was not enough to recharge him, but it was enough to give him a tiny boost. After she was done, using the protection of his armor, she would attempt to fly back out of the courtyard, starting low to avoid attacks, then dashing back up at the last minute, taking to the skies.

(OOC: Sequence of Events: I active my drive. Wave comes at me. I use sphere to block wave. I use my pyrokinesis to move around Raiza's aura to avoid some damage for the moment, and one to avoid a sword slash. Za'cha charges me, I slash at him a bunch and try to grab him. I attempt to avoid Raiza's shots, using Za'cha as a shield and attempt to keep him in the flames of my sword, while still trying to swing at Raiza, thus dealing likely damage to Za'cha, but possible damage to Raiza.. Meanwhile I make a quick attempt to surround Rosetta in flames. My phoenix comes in to refill me, she attempts to fly out. Pm me if you have any questions or I need to make any changes.)

Post by Dubhlainn 19th June 2016, 9:07 am

It’s insulting to think that there hasn’t been much damage done to the Infinity Hydra guildmaster, the tactics his guild members used is admirable but it had opening that caused their own attacks to clash with each other. The Fire King’s dexterity is notable and it seems like the kind of opponent Dubhlainn would love to fight alone, as his current state, he is in no condition to go on par against such a powerful mage who’s well versed with magic, not while he’s injured. If he had his military battle regalia, he would have been a good match against Ardere but it’s a shame that privilege of power he had was thrown away a decade ago and like he said among his members, he’s nothing but a soldier who knows and possess magic.

…. But that sword technique is not Midi, Dubhlainn would know, he had a higher level of dexterity than Ardere or Za’cha for that matter, a complete mastery and familiarity of all kinds of weapons and a deep understanding that weapons would be extensions of the body, which was harsh training he received back in the day.

Though his sword style mostly embodies Midi style swordsmanship, some of his bladestrokes were not of his culture and as a matter of fact Dubhlainn knew only a few fighters who knew of that sword technique he’s been using, but who could be his teacher? For one he knew that his “Former Captain” had such sword style that her bladework would be almost hard to even parry but to think Ardere was able to learn it and mix it with his own style…..

… that sword he’s wieding also carries such resemblance. Where did Ardere managed to get that sword, who taught him that technique? Dubhlainn had only just emerged from the catacombs to see that both the pillar heads are starting to falter, their attempts were brilliant but unexpected action taken from Ardere fumbled it all down, Rosetta is more likely to get burned but he has no obligation to rescue her yet as he had not developed a trust with her.

His movements were fast but Dubhlainn’s aim, rivals one of the best marksman in the world, although not to entertain, the wind and Ardere’s armor was a major problem. He took his rifle and aimed down his scope , he is prepared to stop Ardere and hit a very important blood artery of his, all he needs now is for him to nibble on the hook and then Dubhlainn would have gotten him, the speed and power of the shot would be more enough for it, at the distance where he’s at.

…. But he can’t do it…. It was the perfect opportunity and yet he cannot fire his own weapon not because he knew Rosetta had a few tricks up her sleeve that would become a painful factor to how he shoots Ardere, his code of honor forbids it. Ardere’s attention was at his guild members but there’s no honor in shooting a man with a blind eye and after a few seconds he withdrew his scope and set down his rifle.

Deprived and having long suppressed his magic and enhanced his abilities to fight through human means, he’s become much weaker, and there’s no getting younger for someone 5 years older than the guild master.

He dropped down to the ground, watching Rosetta being surrounded by flames and stared at the Fire King as if he’s looking forward to fight him head on, that chance was not given as the pillar members were disoriented, it was time for him to step in.

“Do I have Infinity Hydra’s permission to join this battle, or would I be disturbing Ms. Rosetta?” These questions were address to both parties he has his mind set but the moment both agreed, Dubhlainn would make his move.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 20th June 2016, 3:27 am

With a surge of power from the fire slayer the armor began to move faster and its attacks seemed to have a greater level of power. Avoiding it would not be possible at least in her current state. With a quick flick of her wrist a 6ft square wall of flame to block the sword swings. This however was just a momentary distraction to allow a magic seal to form on the ground beneath her. The seal rapidly deconstructed her and she appeared atop the ramparts of the courtyard. Before she had a chance to launch her own attack though a pillar of flames tore at her sweeping round her. Her eyes glowed brightly and her speed increased enough allowing her to twist around the flames and leap down into the fray again. With a flick of her hand two spheres of metal were launched upwards. From each of these spheres four smaller spheres rained down around Ardere forming two squares.  Providing these spheres survived a pulse of magic from each would be launched at Ardere. These were rather interesting pulses. One would disrupt the electrochemical signals of the body causing intense pain, though no actual damage, and effect the muscles reducing their output and also causing random muscle spasms that would cause the target to miss more often. The other was a magic disrupting pulse making spells harder to perform and less effective. It wasn't much, but it could be enough to turn the tide of battle.

"So we can break your body?" she said clapping her hands together. "That sounds like an invitation to me. Mr.Dubstep can play too right? Not that he should need your permission. He's a big boy after all" This was purposeful mocking of Dubhlainn due to his attitude. He was being far too formal and in her opinion stupid. You did not ask to join a fight against a powerful mage who threatened the guild. He'd dropped down from above, not involved in the fight, and asked to join the fight. He could of easily launched a sneak attack. Her knowledge of Dubhlainn, gained from Harrigan, was not that in depth, but enough that she was pretty sure he had some long range techniques. Enough that he could of at least launched one or two attacks. Or even launched attacks as he asked permission. Things were far too sloppy around here for her liking. Introductions? Asking permission? Worrying about the guild building rather than just wrecking him then and there. She understood why Thorn had not joined the fight, as she had plant magic. However, if they had been out in the forest then she could of used the plants there as part of her attack. Likely she would of been easily dealt with, but still a more useful distraction.

"I wonder if we can break your will...i've broken so many others....or maybe I should extinguish it like I did Harland Crawford." she said and giggled. "That sounds fun." She said as she raised a hand and launched off the same anti-material beam from earlier to try and hit him.

Post by Thorn 21st June 2016, 1:02 pm

Thorn shook her head in despair and slight disgust. How could she not notice the guild moving into such polite territory? How could they at this moment class themselves as a dark guild when even after someone comes to their home, challenges them, wishes to cause chaos and destruction and spend time introducing themselves? At least, the new girl had the idea of pretending to be someone else and tricking the opponent. She was disappointed, sorely disappointed in Raiza and Za'cha.

Thorn smirked softly and closed her eyes for a moment. As she was not in danger she knew that she could do this without a problem. For a moment she concentrated and placed her hand to the ground and activated her grow spell causing her plants to grow at a increased speed. Thorn had them entwine with the walls and cover the exits making the guild stronger and less likely to crumble should the fight cause more collateral damage.. Thorn watched as people attacked spells flying everywhere, Thorn watched mainly the false Sinali her movement fluid and if she had not known Sinali well then this impostor could of fooled even her.

Thorn looked at Dubh when he interrupted the fight asking to join in. It actually made Thorn's jaw drop in sheer disbelief "Really, i mean Really Dub. You ask permission to join a fight against an invader? For gods sake who does that? Just shut up and fight or leave!" she hissed. At the point if he did not stop talking and stop all this polite stuff she would force him to leave. Looking into the shadows Thorn saw the figure from her office and smiled as an idea came to her mind "Get me close!" she whispered and in a flash Thorn was behind Ard breathing out a thick black smoke that flowed past her lips. Thorn then activated VENUS trapping Ard, albeit most likely only temporarily, in a plant sticky as hell on the inside and with the added disadvantage of having the poisonous smoke that even he would be unable to see through it would keep him distracted for at least a short while.

Thorn then nodded once more and she reappeared back where she once was the trap would not last long but long enough for another spell to take effect. Thorn smiled and whistled softly she was ready to summon the creatures of the depths ones that will over run the halls if enough were summoned. She did not intend to let this invader escape alive.

    Post by Za'cha 23rd June 2016, 6:12 am

It seemed that the Fire God Slayer wanted to try and drag him in closer, as if he held no fear of the Weapon of Apocalypse in his hand... or even grasped the full scope of what the Pride's Aegis was capable of achieving in concert with it. So, he allowed the man to grab his wrist, and in the process, Za'cha would in turn try to wrap his hand around the man's wrist as well as if they were performing a handshake sort of thing.

"Break your mind? Don't mind if I do!" the silver haired Dark Mage said, his appearance apparently transmuting into the thing that Ardere feared the most. Za'cha had no inkling of what that thing may be, but through the powers of the Scythe of Death, he didn't need to. All he had to do was keep a firm grip on the man, and his own mind would supply the images to launch him into pure terror. In Ardere's case, Za'cha's head would appear to be changing into that of a massive snake, staring and hissing into his face, eager to devour him.

Whilst the fires continued to rage around him from the God Slayer's magic, the Aegis would simply increase his own strength, his own defences, his own speed with the less life he held to his body. In short, by grabbing hold of Za'cha, Ardere was not going to be finding an escape any time soon from his nightmares, as the Dark Mage's grip would only grow stronger and tighter, the fires around him would hurt him less till they were little more than an annoyance. Even him trying to use Za'cha as a shield against any of Raiza's attacks was nothing more than a sideshow at this stage in the game.

Post by Raiza 24th June 2016, 8:14 am

A soft chuckle turned into a maniacal laugh as the events began to unfold. His takeover only had just began to subtly take over his emotional and mental control a few minutes ago - yet already he thought of Za'cha as just an obstacle in the way, and if they were to get hurt so be it. Though his mind was distracted only slightly by Dubhlainn, whom not only just now chose to enter, but had a piss poor choice of words that Raiza felt the need to deal with.

Yet, that thought was temporarily broken the moment a sword swing crashed right through his decoy, destroying it instantly as Raiza stepped forward to reveal exactly where he was. His body slowly returning to full strength already. In a fight, he was to become a test of endurance and this was no exception. The longer the fight dragged on the easier it would become for Raiza. His pet already began to leach life force into magical energy into Raiza's body. Essentially though Raiza already felt the need to shift his aura's offensive power, though it wasn't noticable, however now a few whom were once protected by it, would no longer be protected by it's damage. A mistake not on Raiza's part, but rather a mistake on those that seemed to only infuriate him with petty things. It after all was best not to piss Raiza off while in his takeover form anyways.

The outcomes he had been seeing with his reaper's skull future sight were interesting, some involved the deaths of some around here, others seemed to involve strange X-factors Raiza had no clue on understanding. It only strengthened his resolve that holding back his mana usage now would be the best bet, slowly recover to become full again and he'd be able to fight for much longer. However, lucky for him the use of his gun swords did not use mana. Especially as he raised one blade up and aimed at Dubhlainn, and clicked only a single shot to be fired at Dubhlainn's back. Seeing as Dubhlainn had no way of seeing the incoming bullet. "useless guard, if you cannot even guard a secret. So do as Thorn has ordered you to, and leave." He only would speak at the last second. If anyone wanted to question Raiza's actions, then they could take it up with him later or try to now. However as far as Raiza saw it, Dubhlainn had just done something that could jeopardize the plan. Especially since all they were was just a C-class mage.  Even if his shot would have missed. Dubhlainn did jump down right into range of Raiza's aura too, which might just sting a bit.

Once that shot took place, he turned his gaze to Ardere. "Oh Ardere, if you survive I look forward to a rematch without... needing to hold back due to certain people around" his gaze looked only slightly to Za'cha indicating who he meant. However he did want to go more on the offensive, but hesitated just so he may restrain himself and hold his magical energy in to continue to charge a certain little spell he was working on. Even with all this going on, Raiza still managed to bring himself to keep a gaze on most of the fight while turning his head to Rosetta briefly. "My apologies Lady Sinali for our guard's idiotic words. Guess they can't keep code names a secret can they" hoping to have the conversation loud enough to hint that this was the secret Raiza spoke of earlier, and to try and keep the secret...well a secret. If he could lure down this bunny trail that all it was, was a code name, and this person was still sinali then that would be for the best.

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue

Smoke and ash, the courtyard was littered with it. Ardere found himself being charged by the death scythe wielder, as something began to appear above. Looking at the enemy mage, he was shown the head of a snake, his worst fear. Fortunately, after some traumatic experiences, he had overcome his fear for  the most part, but now found himself angry instead, with more of a hatred. Regardless, he felt the need to escape overwhelm him. He could not focus on anything other than escaping. Vines began to erupt from the earth, attempting to wrap around him. Slipping out of the scythe mage's grip, the other man's hands just passed right through his fire body, allowing him to escape. It was at this time that he realized his armor was broken. Performing a back flip, he slashed and slipped through the vines almost effortlessly, but it took an immense amount of focus, focus on escape at all costs. Stumbling forward, spheres began to fall down upon the area. One of these spheres would hit his body and cause his limbs to spasm. During this spasm, he moved away from Za'cha and the thorns, with his intense speed avoiding some of the others, but he chose to react immediately, not holding back this time. Unfortunately it was also at this time that he noticed Raiza's reactions, and hostility towards his own guild members, which he chose to take advantage of. Channeling crash magic energy through the air, he held his hands out as sparks began to scatter throughout the area, prompting a massive explosion around the Fire King. I can't afford to hold back. I'm sorry about the guild hall, but this is my Molecular Overload. These words were spoken as the explosion erupted around the Samurai in a one hundred meter radius. The ground beneath all of the mages would be ripped to pieces, and it would likely reach parts of the guild hall itself at this point. During this explosion, he turned his attention towards the direction Sinali (Rosetta) was in.

All that was left after the explosion, presumably was smoke. The fire mage was no so arrogant as to expect them to just be hit, he expected a form of defense from those far away, so he kept his senses keen, focused on their breathing and scents. But that aside, his line of sight was focused towards Sinali (Rosetta), who he deemed the greatest threat. Even after his powerful attack, he could tell his body had suffered. Fortunately, he would not allow this to stop him. Imbuing his crimson sword with black fiery energy, he took advantage of them likely being frazzled by the explosion, and slammed his sword downwards. A mountain of black flames would rip through the ground, pummeling towards the direction the small girl was in, as well as a massive beam of flames would travel with it, creating a gargantuan blast of flames, all powered up by his abilities, making them significantly stronger. Flame God's Splitting Edge, and Sword of Power! Hopefully it would be enough to gather the child's attention, as he used his buffed speed to attempt to dash to the left, performing an arc around his flames, which he could see through, using his Sight of Hephaestus. His goal was to end up on her side, ready for his next attack. But while doing so his voice echoed throughout the courtyard as he called out. Apologies for the abrupt attack, but Dubhlain you may join the battle as you might have guessed.

The Arrival of Flames (Open to SS) - Page 2 Empty Re: The Arrival of Flames (Open to SS)

Post by Raiza 28th June 2016, 2:16 am

ooc: Due to circumstances. Zack agreed to let me post ahead of him, seeing as I'd be the one to stop the molecular attack. Also sorry for the smaller post, not much to add other than my quick counter to that. Ard I know you typically post after me. However in this case, you'll post after the rest of the SS(since I typically posted last anyways). I simply was moved up in our turn order.

It was only moments ago, Raiza silently declared the fight no longer interesting, and at this moment it was true. Why even bother to keep the thrill of battle if the fight was interesting. This meant to Raiza, acting more serious when the times came would mean it was what was going to be done. Even after his words to Rosetta, Raiza kept his gaze to the fire king, whom Raiza would only pity when the words of the molecular attack was spoken. Magical energy already began to flood the air the moment the attack was launched. Finally activating his immortal object spell, a small light barrier formed around Raiza.

"Sinali the attack might sting just a bit, but dont worry. I got most of this.  Prepare for check fucking mate!" his words were not empty as if anyone was paying attention to his own magical force and life force energy they would notice the skull appearance had vanished, and Raiza was fairly pale in color already. The explosive force of the molecular attack was sent out just as planned, however Raiza had already altered it by using his checkmate spell, it was a support spell that could either buff or debuff, aaltering a spell's power by B-rank. Raiza instantly went with the obvious choice of debuffing the spell, however at the cost of his own life force, would be allowed to activate the spell more than once over. The use of checkmate was started by using haste ability to allow him access, then afterwards pay the health cost each time for a total of three casts. Each casting signifigently weakened the flame spell's heat intensity just to show off to the rest how far it was weakened, down to less than a D-rank in power.

After all was sad and done, Raiza began to cough slightly into his hand, it was apparent he was hurting from using his own spell that costed him a huge toll on his own body to weaken such a spell like that.  "I think I'll need to sit back for a bit Sinali. I weakened the attack" his words would reach just in time as the flames over took his body, and the guild hall. The guild hall was easily saved as the mediocre damage was far too weak to destroy the material it was made up of, and his barrier protected him from the flame onslaught. As for anyone else? Raiza had no clue as to what they would do. Though he was sure even the most unskilled mages could tell that attack was weakened to a point of less than a D-class spell before it would hit them.

info on your molecular spell: 190dmg(100+90%) was weakened by B-rank(60)*3, thus resulting in a 10dmg aoe.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 28th June 2016, 11:51 am

It seemed that Thorn had returned to the fray and was also annoyed with Dubhlainn for his actions. It was quite fortunate because her actions had been enough to slow Ardere enough for one of her two spells to hit. Unfortunately though it was the less useful of the two. If it had been the other then he would of been basically crippled with the amount of magic that he was expelling. Her HUD vision showed that he was way below half. Probably just above a quarter of his magic power left. Raiza proved some use here weakening the spell so as to prevent damage to the group as a whole and also protect the guild. It was a rather powerful effect he had. Yes, Raiza was a rather useful member so far. If the magic disruption had worked he might of been able to cancel it out entirely as the spell would of been weaker. Such a shame.

She did not have much time to focus though as through the dense smoke she saw the thermal image of Ardere, a rather strong image, swinging for another attack. An attack that blasted apart the smoke and temporarily overloaded her thermal vision causing it to return to normal. With a sweep of her hand she threw up two spells. The first was a barrier made of fire once more, this was the stronger of the two and would be enough to take most of one of the spells. The other was a metal barrier. Enough to stop the second. She threw herself to the right and her arms stretched out grabbing onto a wall and pulling her out of the way of the second attack. Her barriers had not been designed to stop the attacks entirely. Merely to slow them down enough for her to dodge. Though unfortunately one of the blows still got her feet melting them off meaning she had to hold onto the wall. It would been much more devastating if impotence had not still been in effect.

To her surprise and perhaps fortune her opponent had run left, which was her right. She'd managed to just go past where he was gone. He shouted out inviting Dubhlainn to join into the battle, but she hoped not to give him the chance. Her feet had reformed so she kicked off from the wall and formed a blade out of magical energy and swung at him. This blade if it hit would do a decent amount of damage, but would also damage MP trying to bring him down.

Yet her attack would not just be this, but she would also form a cannon on her shoulder which would launch off a skull that would be rather familiar to Ardere. It was one composed much like his own except this was made out of water. If it hit him it would bite into him. It was more a distraction though to give her blade a greater chance of hitting. She was swinging it one hand preparing to defend with her other. The rapture blade though was just the start of Ardere's problems. If it hit even once then the effect Cursed Rapture would apply. For someone who cast magic as other as Ardere it would be devastating.

Post by Dubhlainn 29th June 2016, 11:35 am

His question earned the scorn of his guildmates, there is such thing as being too formal and it’s probably a strange thing. Then again it’s rare for Dubhlainn to interact with his guildmates asides from assisting them in job requests. Thorn was disappointed in everyone especially his response though it’s funny that she took a few seconds to complain about it, heck if she had time to complain about Dubhlainn’s statement, she should use it to think of a way to out maneuver her opponent. There’s no way that any kind of flora she plants would survive an attack from Ardere’s blaze, that is true facts, he’d expect Thorn to have set up traps instead of going for the offensive since there aren’t any sources of water in the courtyard…..

    ….except for what’s “Underneath it.”

The Catacombs is much bigger than the guild hall itself and would cover almost half of spooky forest. Whatever curse lingers in the dark guild caused plants to overgrow and buried parts of the catacombs in dirt and moss. A part of the catacombs which is below the courtyard is flooded with water and moss, 20 feet below ground and because of Ardere’s tremors the courtyard is close to collapse. Instead of maneuvering Raiza took time to taunting Dubhlainn as he positions himself. It was completely unnecessary action of his whereas that bullet would have been directed towards the enemy instead, such stupid provocative action merits punishment, Dubhlainn didn’t see the bullet but it missed him probably on purpose. Course he wasn’t aware that Sinali’s name was supposed to be discrete but the question is… So what if he knows her name? It doesn’t change anything in this battle.

Za’cha and Thorn were trying their very best to hold him off away from the little girl, Dubhlainn had other plans but seeing as how Ardere gotten so close to her, the gravity of the attack would cause the courtyard to collapse. It was uncertain whether Za’cha would survive an attack of that caliber considering from where he was; Raiza took it upon himself to take most of the damage when it was unnecessary, he could just use the force of the impact to take a huge leap and make his counter attack. Thorn had no defenses, she has no seeds planted so Dubhlainn had no choice but to let go of the blade he was about to pick up and grabbed the huge guild hall door Ardere knocked down earlier, slamming it down in front of Thorn and himself, protecting them both from the impact. The ground was starting to collapse bit by bit, revealing the huge volume of water and moss that occupied part of the catacombs, if Thorn would have any chance of making her counter attack it would have been now whereas Raiza lost the chance of doing so, instead of using the explosion to jump upwards.

Dubhlainn quickly ran around the courtyard that was already riddled with cracks, running past the few holes as a harpoon gun loaded with a war axe was shot at dubhlainn by one of his men. He had no trouble catching it as his dexterity allows him to do so. He ran through the smoke, not that he needed to rely on his sight but certain abilities allow him to track Ardere despite visual obstruction.

    Engaging Ardere

The mechanics of how Ardere was able to out maneuver two warriors like Za’cha and Raiza was pretty simple, both of the pillars didn’t realize The fire slayer had such dexterity. While attacking in melee combat, a weapon should be launched forward when it’s in striking range, the mistake that happened was that Za’cha had chosen to have come even closer when in fact his scythe should have covered at least a meter, the mistake was that everyone was conditioned, memorized Ardere’s currently agility whereas a sudden boost turned the tide of battle.

While the smoke covered his approach it was expected Ardere will have to maneuver, his agility was robbed from him the moment he was hit by that last attack Rosetta inflicted, the expression on his face shows how much pain he’s experiencing.

    Unique Passive instance (Shadowed Glory)

Ardere’s perception is sharp, but it doesn’t work against Dubhlainn because of his ability to block sensory that may reveal any information on Dubhlainn, although he isn’t exactly invisible nor is his presence concealed, Ardere cannot tell “WHO” this presence belongs to as it could be anyone, more or less Dubhlainn will be mistaken as an illusion given the smoke. Dubhlainn was “unknown to him” and when something unknown approaches anyone, they would have to turn towards the direction and prepare themselves. Dubhlainn was able to come close because Ardere’s attention was focused on Rosetta. The Guildmaster of infinity hydra would have been slowed down considerably due to the muscle spasms he is still suffering from and the after effects from Za’cha’s spell hasn’t worn off, even if its “a fear conquered” eventually fear would return when Ardere is in a level of danger he can recognize.

This was the perfect window of opportunity for Dubhlainn to go all out while he’s covered in the smoke with no one to witness his skills and abilities. At Dubhlainn’s pace Ardere would have time to put up defenses given Dubhlainn’s pace. Unfortunately Ardere could never see Dubhlainn coming like Za’cha and Raiza who never experienced how fast he actually was….

….. Dubhlainn did exactly the same thing.

    (Signature spell ????????)
    (Signature spell ????????)
    (Spell activated)

For a brief moment it would seem Ardere will be able to defend against an incoming attack, but if his attention was only reserved for Rosetta then things would have ended badly for him.

Perception alerted Ardere that a strange presence is coming to him from behind, but time is something Dubhlainn has and that Ardere doesn’t.

    In a flash…..

Dubhlainn’s first strike would heavily surprise Ardere, Dubh simply didn’t damage Ardere as he was aiming to disarm him, separating the fire slayer from Clarent, the blade Dubh knew all too well. A shot from the magnum which he draw from his left hand, right at the sword clarent which wasn’t enough to disarm Ardere completely, its true Ardere as a huge death grip on the sword, that is a fact but Ardere was experiencing muscle spasms, the recoil of the magnum would have shaken and add stress to Ardere’s wrist as he held it, the second instance was that Dubhlainn strike at clarent that would disarm Ardere.

All Ardere was able to make out of was that Dubhlainn was only meters away from him one second ago, his reaction would have been more than enough to prepare what’s coming but he did not expect how fast Dubhlainn moved.

    (Spell activated ????????)
    (Signature spell ????????)
    (Spell activated????????)

Ardere would have been disarmed and sparks of ethernano would have traveled from his arm up to his entire body, the Captain of the guard passed Ardere; Dubhlainn started his attack striking downwards, from Ardere’s left shoulder, down to the shoulder blade which would cause him to lose strength on his left arm if ever hit. The magnum barrel would have already loaded the next bullet by the time Dubhlainn actually attacked Ardere, he fired another shot aiming for Ardere’s shoulder or shoulder blade, decreasing the amount of force on Ardere’s melee attacks or usage of his spells which involved his arms.

Finally Dubhlainn threw the axe at Ardere whereas Dubh was a meter away from him, the axe would have exploded, shrapnel would have fly and hit Ardere but given the distance, he won’t be able to burn them in time before they hit him.

Explanation and short summary of facts:

    Before engagement.

    • Ardere’s A rank spell damaged the courtyard.
    • Ardere’s next Aoe spell cracked it and is on the verge of collapse.
    • Rosetta gave the Ok sarcastically while Thorn and Raiza commented on Dubh’s  actions.
    • Dubhlainn ignored those comments and positioned himself.
    • Dubhlainn was about to pick up a sword when he saw that an explosion might probably occur, he dropped the sword and grabbed the huge guild door and slammed it in front of thorn to save her from the impact.

    Engagement:

    • Dubhlainn moved through the smoke, pieces of the ground started to collapsed down to the water filled catacombs.
    • Dubhlainn has a passive that prevents Ardere from reading who it was, because it was an “unknown”  and people would “fear unknown” Ardere would naturally respond to Dubh’s incoming attack, if he didn’t he’d be cut up from behind.
    • Dubhlainn’s marksmanship with the magnum allowed him to hit the intended point of his sword, a powerful recoil that would have disarmed him if not for Ardere’s grip.
    • Dubhlainn used a signature spell and got close, striking ardere’s weapon and disarming him.

    Attempts

    • Dubhlainn surprised Ardere with a signature spell that allowed him to be much quicker than he was and casted the signature spell a second time to deliver a good strike to his back.
    • Dubhlainn threw his axe at Ardere, letting it explode, attempting to push ardere into the hole he made in the courtyard or at the very least close to it.

    Facts:

    • Ardere is still experiencing muscle spasm as he was hit by Rosetta earlier
    • Ardere is still suffering from the after effects of Za’cha’s spell but choose to be ignorant
    • Ardere is powerful, mind over body, the mind would command the body to move but because of the spasms, Ardere’s pain receptors would have blocked off a portion of his brain’s signals to move the body. This would have hindered Ardere’s physical parameters at least, if he strains it would take him a month to recover.
    • Ardere is fast but Dubhlainn’s stats from Unique abilities would have rivaled an A rank along with the spells he activated, the signature spell allowed Dubhlainn to catch up to Ardere or at least enough to surprise him that someone in Savage Skull was actually fast like he was (Though its clear Ardere is faster, he didn’t expect this, that’s why it’s a surprise to him)

In case that people are getting a bit sour about the spells I used here they are:

Black Fury: Knight's Valor (Duration starting from this post)
Grease Bolt(Would strike at Ardere's weapon)

    2nd Instance
D rank Signature Spell casted twice
Weapon attack (Duration starting from this post)
    Arms Termination

    Constant Passives:

    Innocent Monster
Adaptable Resistance (The moment Ardere used the A rank spell, it was triggered)

    Battle Born Magic

    HP: 300
    MP: 35% ??????

    Damage calculation

    Unarmed damage: 19hp
Current unarmed damage with spell: 24hp

Armed damage with weak tier Magnum(Signature spell plus Heavy attack because magnum has recoil):
    Unarmed damage + 50% unarmed damage(9) +3dmg  =31hp magnum alone

Armed damage with weak tier Magnum (Signature spell, heavy magnum recoil, Black Fury):
    Current unarmed damage with spell (24) + 50% unarmed damage(12) + 3hp = 39hp magnum damage alone

With weapon attack spell: Magnum damage = 45 per shot

Armed damage with strong tiered battle axe (Signature spell)
Unarmed damage + 5hp = 24hp Battle Axe damage alone

Armed damage with strong tiered battle axe (Signature spell, Black Fury)
    Current unarmed damage (24) + 5hp = 29 battle axe damage alone

With weapon attack spell: Battle Axe damage = 41

    Dubhlainn’s stats

    Strength (unarmed damage):  50%
    Endurance (Damage reduction): 50%
    Agility: 40%

Current and total damage reduction against Ardere’s attacks:  70% damage reduction
Current and total agility bonus: 60%

Conclusion: Ardere would have received: 86 damage from Dubhlainn during the second instance if successful (before physical resistance calculation)

Thorn sighted softly bringing up her hands up quickly using roots as a sheild even though it would not protect her from a lot of the damage it was the only defense she had from the attack. Knowing Raiza had taken a large chunk of the blast was comforting. She knew he could take the blast and decrease the damage which would help a lot. At least she would survive. As the blast shot her smoke away Thorn breathed it in. She could use it once more before she had to wait for it. Seeing Dubh place a door in front of them she blinked in astonishment "thanks" she muttered softly he had redeemed himself but not by much.

Waiting for the chaos of Ardere's attack to subside Thorn thought for a moment. Once she formulated a plan she smiled softly and began to act. Her plants shooting through the floor thorn had roots tightened around Ard. This would hopefully stop him moving and give Rosetta a chance to do her attack. She then breathed the smoke back out covering Ard in the thick black poisonous smoke. It had the chance to poison Dubh and Rosetta as well, but it was a risk worth taking. Besides, if Rosetta could not take it she was not as impressive as Thorn had been lead to believe.

Post by Ardere Kasai 1st July 2016, 5:44 pm

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Shock. That was the only feeling that could accurately describe what Ardere had felt when his spell had been weakened to such a point that it did not affect his opponents. Alright Raiza, fair enough. But I'm far from done. It was an odd feeling, but he could not let it stop him from battling them with all of the might he possessed. The after-effects of Za'cha's ability were making him more angry and distasteful than usual. His fear of snakes had turned into a hatred. This is not something he expected Za'cha to know or understand, but it was the fact. Looking up at the sky for a second, it had finally become later in the evening. Planning this attack so late was on purpose. Even though the marsh was always dark, the moon was rarely ever visible. It was imperative that he wait until it was visible. He had not been able to run close to Rosetta like he expected, for as he unleashed his flames, he felt a presence moving towards him, and quickly. His reaction was not to turn around and strike at them, as his body was not as agile as it was before. His muscles were tight and would spasm occasionally. Fortunately, while he could not counter attack as well, he could manage to dodge. This enemy could have been Raiza, Thorn, or even Dubhlain, but it did not matter who it was. His instincts told him to move, and he did. Stepping to the side, the fire mage's arm was grazed and his sword was smacked by the knight's strike, sending it flying into the ground a couple of meters away, sticking straight up out of the already fragile ground. He knew he was faster than this opponent, but it was a very close call with his lowered speed and muscle spasms. Arching his eyebrows, there was absolutely no time to worry about anything else. The Fire King had Rosetta moving towards him, and thorns coming up from the ground. There was no other choice but to act right as he moved left, and punch the ground. Holding his breath for a moment, his body was barely able to hit where he intended, but it did it fast enough, hopefully. While Rosetta was likely somewhat faster than he was, and Dub was quite close, the amount of time it would take for his fist to reach the ground was minuscule. Not to mention his opponents were mid dash, and likely could not react to this attack.

Impact. Punch. As his fist touched the already ripped apart ground, it transferred energy throughout the solid rock and stone. The spread of this attack was instantaneous, meaning as soon as his hand touched the surface, it split into pieces. The ground split into pieces, giving no mage in this fight stable ground to stand on, and break up the area the thorns were in, as well as likely send a couple of them a few meters upward. As the ground was split apart and everyone was thrown off balance, the guild master too, had no ground on which to stand. During the ruckus, he dives, grabbing his sword, then something interesting happened. Flames burst around his body, in a several meter radius around his body, likely hitting the opponents closest to him, and in an attempt to prevent them from attacking him as he made his move. Flame God's Crash! Being blasted up into the air at a high speed, he moved up like a rocket, to a height of one hundred meters in the air. Then, the flames would cease. During this time, Ardere looked up to the sky. A necklace fell out of his cracked armor, a necklace shaped like a moonstone. This necklace would glow for a second, reflecting the moon light that just barely shone through the thick clouds above the marsh. The fire mage doubted the moon would be visible for more than a minute or two, but it was all he had to work with, and he would work with it. I'm not done yet you bastards. Looking down below as he began to fall, the Samurai summoned a gargantuan ball of thick, corrupt black flames. This fire ball would fall onto his opponents, thus slowing his descent as he attempted to make it crash into the marsh and hall below. Flame God's Dark Arts: Flame Emperor!! The fire ball was so massive that it would likely block out the sky above the other mages, and if it hit it would evaporate a significant amount of water, as well as form a crater in the ground, breaking up the hall and the marsh itself.

(OOC: Okay to recap what happened. Ard left his senses up just in case someone came at him from behind, but since he's reacting to that, it kinda interrupts our actions. So this is what I did. I didn't dash left like I wanted, but I kept my movement left, but instead of going at Rosetta, it was to dodge Dub. And since that happened, I'm not as close to Rosetta as I would have been. I was disarmed, but as you both are coming at me, I punch the ground. The impact of this punch will utterly destroy the ground we are all standing all, thus we all fall into the marsh or are launched around, up to you. I try to grab my sword, blast up, then do my fire ball. You can regain your mp for the skull spell if you want Zack, and Dub you can regain your mp for any attacks after your disarmament of me. If you have any questions or I made any mistakes, lemme know. It was a hard post to write xD so I might have misread something.)

As Rosetta ran in to launch her barrage of attacks Dubhlainn also attacked and managed to disarm skillfully disarm Ardere. It was hard for him to dodge because Thorn had intervened and brought up some roots in order to try and entangle him. A useful technique, but it seemed that it would in the end be ineffectual. Ardere slammed his fist down to launch another 'crash' based spell in order to not only blast away the Thorn's but blast away the ground as well throwing Rosetta back heavily. Before she even had a chance to counter the mage had blasted himself up in the air, likely incinerating Thorn's roots. What was worse though is that her HUD system showed his magic power being restored back to 100%. Her method of bringing him down via reducing his MP to a low enough amount was not going to work. The only way forward now was to beat him enough that he retreated.

The man came crashing down in a large fireball, but it was slow enough for her to pull herself back with her extension cord technique out of the way and bring her to safety though she was still caught by the very edge. Fortunately, her impotence spell was enough to cancel that small amount of damage. It was time to step things up a notch, but she still didn't want to reveal her full power. She had no choice.

"I'm afraid you are done Mr.Ardere." Rosetta said and whistled. Instantly, there was a loud, chilling howl from multiple locations around the area. A powerful magically debuffing howl to which all Savage Skull members were immune, but no-one else was. From the depths, from the shadows, from the walls emerged 20 savage, twisted wolf-like creatures. Nobody knew their true origins, but many suspected that the Lichborne and Sinali both had a hand in their creation, perhaps even Naraku as well as she had an affinity for wolves. It did not matter their origins though. What mattered was that the garm were here and they were not happy. "Garm...show Mr.Ardere what happens to those who invade our guild." The garm howled again and then charged at Ardere the pack of wolves acting like a seemless unit. They were 4 meters tall and 5 meters long with a heck of a punch to their attacks. They would leap over each other, close off exits and essentially do whatever it took to attack Ardere and savage him, except of course attacking each other or Savage Skull members.

Wings formed from Rosetta's back and she rose into the air and landed atop a wall where her hand began to glow with magical energy and liquid metal began to pool out of her hand forming into a large cannon that looked like it belonged on a Tank. "Tank you very much. Bye bye." With that she shot off a blast of energy directly at where the Garm would attempt to drive Ardere too whilst attacking him. This blast of energy was not her most powerful, but it would certainly get Ardere's attention and give the garm an opening.

Yet she was not so foolish as to be 100% confident that it would hit  effectively. As such she launched her carpal tunnel technique again from her wrist going for another area that he could potentially dodge into. She fired off two blasts from this so three areas he could dodge into were now covered. She flew up into the air, cannon still in her hand and sword in the other. It was time to stop a forth direction. Her arm stretched out via extension cord with the sword being launched like a spear to try and stab into Ardere should he dodge in that direction. She was pulling out a lot of the stops, but still had quite a few tricks left up her sleeve. She hadn't even gotten to apply her cursed rapture effect due to him dodging out the way and thus her not launching it. That alone could prove a useful tool.

The crater that almost spanned the entire courtyard was also deep enough to reveal framework of several underground hallways. Some of which where piled with rubble and debris, others were flooded with the blackened water of the marshes. Which now poured into the crater like the end of a sewer system. With it came off course the stench of mire and mud, the composing plant-life that had been composing for years underneath its thick slimy layers. And if one really took a closer look, you could have sworn that even a bone or two would resurface, just a small reminder of someone that was, before it would sunk to the bottom and be forgotten once again.
But what was by far more ominous then the stinking liquid of the bog itself, were the few remaining opening of the catacombs that weren't flooded or filled with debris. But instead gave a glimpse of the impenetrable darkness. Or to be more accurate, the large silhouettes that appeared from it.

It was the Garm that made their presence known with a chilling howl that would send shivers down the spine of even the most hardened warrior. And with it came an even greater stench then that of the swamp itself. The stench of death and rot. A fragrant the Garm had been wallowing for a time unknown, as their origins nor their age were known to even the members of Savage Skull. Some say it was the Lichborne's doing, others say it were failed experiments of members passed, experiments that had escaped and multiplied in a hundredfold. While the few texts that mentioned the Garm suggested that they were molded out of the darkness itself, that they just came to be when darkness needed to manifest itself. But whatever their origin, their presence forebode maybe something... no someone else.

The battle raged on, the Garm swarmed their opponent who single handily had been fighting on par with the Savages. Until another round of attack had ensued and a moment of silence befell the battlefield. A silence that was easily being cleaved apart as from the very dark holes the Garm had emerged, a different sound was to be heard. One that to every member of Savage Skull was all to familiar.
It were the clacks of leathery bound shoes against the cold stone pavement of the catacombs, resounding sounds of footsteps that already on itself felt arrogant and conceited. And as it become louder and louder, a silhouette appeared from out the black gaping opening, a man who would give face to that eerie sound.

''Ardere Kasai, guild master of Infinity Hydra'' the man said with a taunting smirk on his face as he stepped forwards from the dark shroud. Revealing his entire being, which screamed nothing but arrogance on itself. From the look on his face, to the very flamboyant clothing he wore. ''A man with strong principles, a man who vowed to stand against the evil of the dark guilds. A man with convictions unlike any other. I must say I always imagined you to be... bigger.''
As he spoke two more silhouettes appeared behind Harrigan, beasts as foul as the night itself. Bigger and larger then any of the other Garm Ardere would have seen thus far. Their eyes twinkling with a crimson red glow, from their maw a saliva as black as tar would drool down. Dripping from between their mighty fangs as they growled lovely at the crimson samurai. ''Then again, appearance doesn't really matter right now does it? Actions do... Fenrir!! Skull!! Have at it!!''

Harrigan threw his arm forwards while at the same time the two beasts launched forwards. Their howls filled the air, louder and more ill foreboding then any of the other Garm that came before. And to make matters worse suddenly their entire being were being set aflame with a fiery fire. ''What are you waiting for my Savages!!!'' shouted Harrigan ''Have at it! Release any limiter you think you have!! And punish the one who dares to sully our hallowed grounds!!'' A command was given, a command to attack all together. To join the Garm as they howled and went straight for the Samurai King of Infinity Hydra.
Regardless of any other actions, Fenrir the front runner of the two Garm came straight at them man. Opening his giant maw, ready to bite a chunk out of the mans flesh if he could grab him. While Sköll, lunged forwards with a large jump planning on landing straight on the man.

Summary: Harrigan appeared from out the catacombs itself. Brining with him the two Primordial Garm Fenrir & Sköll. Who upon their moment of attack bellowed a similar howl to the previous Garm. Reducing any opponents damage output. For S/SS rank their damage output is reduced with another 20% adding up on the earlier debuff from the other Garm. Duration is 5 posts.

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Ardere had dealt severe damage to the Savage Skull Courtyard, and it's surrounding walls. The floor bellow had fallen into the marsh, making the area almost unrecognizable. Unfortunately, the fire mage was now falling through the air, down towards he roof of the area on the other side of the courtyard, what he assumed would be some sort of hall. As he fell through the air, he noticed Sinali (Rosetta) had avoided the blast for the most part, and sent an array of beasts after him. Well, shit. He thought. And another man with two more beasts made his appearance. He did not recognize this man, but he reminded him of the man known as Harrigan, who he had heard much about during his time in Sabertooth. But was hat even possible? Last he heard the man had gone off. Whoever it was, they were in for one hell of a surprise. The howls of the many beasts caused him to groan in pain, as they rushed towards him. He landed on he nearest flat surface, the roof of a building, as the beasts began to swarm him. The Fire King was faster than they were, but with his weakened body and muscle spasms, he took several scratches straight through his flame body. A couple of explosions occurred around him, preventing him from moving any further, coming from the direction Sinali (Rosetta) was in. During the third one, he spun his hands around, creating black flames in a circle. Flame God's Yggdrasil! Catching the beam, he turned it into an explosion that knocked back several of the beasts, including the two Harrigan sent before they had a chance to attack. He felt fear rushing through his veins, scared to act. Trembling and shaking, he acted. While most men when overtaken by fear stood here, Ardere instinctively acted to ensure his own survival. Yelping in pain, it almost seemed like all was lost, but it was not. Slamming his fist down into the roof, as he was surrounded by these hellish beasts, a single light incinerated them in an instant. The moment he pressed his hand into the roof, an explosion trumping any he had created in his life, occurred. You can beat me down. You can mock me. You can make your empty threats, but you cannot stop the Hydra's Rage! A gargantuan beam began to rip apart that particular section of the guild hall, easily spilling out into the remnants of the courtyard, putting every mage in he area in danger, as a hydra of pure light ripped apart all that they knew. It unleashed a light, a light so bright that it would blind any of the nearby mages, so he could make his exit, and prevent them from making a proper defense. This light could be seen for miles, even in this thick, dark, marsh. Don't forget this, Skulls. It won't be the last time a man like me shows you your place. During the smoke and the crumbling of buildings, Ardere's phoenix still in her battle form, swooped in, scooping up her master and flying off to safety. While the guild master had not beaten all of them, he had wrecked their guild hall and wounded many mages in he process, displaying the strength of both his magic and his guild. Perhaps it would be enough to begin the turning of wheels and cogs in this dark world.

Truly, the battle was decided the moment Harrigan stepped into the fight and ordered the bunch to release all restraints. Most of them such as rosetta were holding back for their own reasons. Raiza had held back some due to wanting to fight Ardere some day again, however now was no longer a time Raiza was even allowed to hold back. His mind took his body forward, each step became larger as he was already moving on bliss of battle alone. The projectile that was heading for the guild hall, it was too large to stop by many, in fact that was no doubt a guild level spell. One that could flatten the area if someone didn't stop it. Yet - this was where the support tanks of the guild would shine. The bright light of it all was so blinding that Raiza had to activate checkmate not once but twice nearly instantly just to save his allies. Though the fact by now was most of Raiza's strength was gone, and yet he managed to use his signature trump card twice over, costing him the life force once again just to weaken this last spell.

"And don't you forget one thing Ardere. Savage skull, will never die!" Despite weakening the spell to dust, the bright light was no longer more than a dim light to Raiza as he had jumped towards it, swinging once with an explosive filled gun sword, the collision caused an explosion towards the spell that by all matters was overwhleming to the newly weakened guild spell, causing it to ripple and burst away in a golden - red dust as it had been destroyed by the spell combinations - saving the entire guildhall, and all of Savage skull members.

However, this was not without consequence. Such a potent spell causing such health loss to Raiza forced his hand, his reaper form went as fast as it arrived, and he would be left on the ground, his clothing tattered from that explosion. Raiza was left semi-unconscious as Ardere was able to get away, though no doubt they didn't get away with the satisfaction they wanted, as their 'guild spell' was taken out by a mere coming storm member.  His vision blurred from the whole ordeal as he laid spread out on the hard crumbled floor. Sounds were high pitch to him as the ringing in his ears was still deafening, yet a smile was on his face. Lord Harrigan has returned, so today was fruitful no matter what. Yet the dark mage had not even the slightest bit of physical stamina to go search him back out to give him a proper welcome home, instead the dark mage laid there on the damp and moist ground, blood was mixing with the mud, as he stared up into the sky, waiting to regain his strength.

Post by Rosetta Crawford 4th July 2016, 5:26 am

As the huge explosion of Hydra's rage tore through the ground, only to be stopped by Raiza, the mage known as Rosetta had thrown herself down in front of Harrigan and grown to the size of a 6ft tall woman with a wide wingspan. With a flick of her wrists two barriers were thrown up to try to defend harrigan from front and back with her acting as a third layer. Harrigan was her number one priority. The guild was important, but it was second to her master. Raiza however showed great use in stopping the explosion from damaging the guild hall. There was some damage, but it was far less than what was expected and no loss of life had occurred. The garm did not count after all. He at least deserved recognition. Dubhlainn, despite his earlier annoying actions, too deserved some recommendation. His actions had proven useful to their victory as had the others. The MVP was clearly Raiza in this case. Without him the casualties would of been higher and the collateral damage greater.

Rosetta stepped forward and in front of her formed a huge 25ft long rifle with a targeting scope. It was not perhaps the most lethal of her techniques, but it had the biggest range by far. She took aim and fired off two powerful shots aiming to hit him. These shots were 80ft in radius and travelled a full 40km in 2 seconds. They were insanely fast, insanely big and insanely long range. Well, normally it wouldn't have much power, but Rosetta had enough magic power for one last thing. Rather than firing off the traditional shots she had used the technique of spell fusion to combine this S rank spell with one of much greater power. Her H rank spell. "SATTELITE SUPER LONG ANTI MATERIAL MAGICAL ERADICATION RIFLE - WATER" she roared and what was launched was two huge beams of condensed magical water energy aiming to tear apart the retreating figure. They were high speed, high precision and very powerful. Of course, he had flown away in the distraction of his guild spell, but perhaps this would be a good parting gift for the retreating magic.

Once the beams were launched the cannon evarpoated and melded back into her. She turned to face Harrigan. "Master, it seems security in the guild has grown lax and it is too easy to appraoch." she stated calmly. "Suggested course of action: Prepare technology to move the guild and keep it moving. A static location offers no real benefit if it is as easy to approach as this." She paused and then spoke again.

"Secondary course of action: Prepare exercises or tasks to improve teamwork within the guild. A single mage, guild master or not, should not have done so well against our mages that we had to call in the garm." she stated calmly and then paused and a frown came to her face. Some of the fault had been her own, but she did not see why. Her calculations should of been much more accurate than they turned out to be "I will need to reanalyse my data on Ardere and the guild to come up with a more suitable strategy for the future. I did not think it would be necessary to utilise my full power so I held back. Some corruption from the prototypes I assimilated must still be present. My calculations, even with limited data, should not have been this far off." She hit the side of her head causing her eyes to roll in their socked slightly and glow briefly with information.

Za'cha grumbled as he came back around, in time to observe the arrival of apparently Harrigan himself, although with the Sinali impersonator it was a little hard to tell right now. That and the mother of all splitting headaches he was going through after that damned bout with the Flame God Slayer. "Urgh... back to the drawing board it seems..." he muttered to himself as he got back to his feet, eyeing the damage around them before frowning and sighing.

He shook his ears a little, trying to get the ringing out of them before he caught the tail end of what the Sinali clone was talking about. Sort of. Again, the monumental headache and ringing in his ears was making it a little tricky to catch all the words. "That or we move base... seriously, way too many people know where to find us these days. First the Rune Knights, then that Fire bastard..." he grumbled. He shot Raiza a look and held up a finger. "Not a damn word... could have sworn I had that guy a few times but... bloody hell." he said, gripping his head again.

"This is why I fuckin' hate Slayers. Thought my Aegis would even the odds... but damn it..." the silver haired dark mage said before peering at Harrigan. "Okay... you really Harrigan, or another copy like the Sinali kid here? And can someone please stop the world spinning, it's giving me nausea." he grumbled, finding a piece of rubble to sit down on to steady himself.

Post by Dubhlainn 11th July 2016, 12:42 am

Dubhlainn had long fallen into the catacombs when everything happened, as mentioned earlier, the ground was not stable and it would more or less collapse due to the fact the guild was built upon unholy grounds, a massive burial site and the city of the dead. He would fall deep into the catacombs to Murky waters; there was no way for him to get up as multiple tremors caused the catacombs to bury him deep under rubble. The battle progressed as usual and Dubhlainn wasn’t able to move for quite while from all that and only by Harrigan’s order did he blew the rubble away with just his mere strength alone.

He wasn’t hurt but rather a bit fatigued for suppressing his bloodlust while all his guildmates have no trouble of displaying their own. He cannot invert or let his own powers take control of him, the curse that lingers in his mind was venom and left unchecked, he will turn into a monster that he’d fear the most. Harrigan knew for a long time that Dubhlainn preferred obscurity and wishes not to reveal the idea of Savage towards his guild members. He’ll probably be punished for all this and it was only natural for such course of action to be taken.

Some of Dubhlainn’s men came running from the long halls of the catacombs to report that the target has fled.

“Perhaps other than being food, the people we captured in Shirotsume will be of use after all, restrict all use of the prisoners from the other pillars, they will become the peons that will rebuild the dominion, they are not to be toyed with or devoured by the others, have them rebuild everything, I forbid any other members from using the peons till then, use my own name if necessary and tell Lord Harrigan that I will be held responsible for the damages and will be willingly to receive punishment afterwards, tend to the wounded, if they are alive they can still be of use to us as an asset.”

Dubhlainn’s men carried out their orders as they scattered all around the guild performing their duties. Dubhlainn just stood there, looking up the hole that leads to the courtyard, small rays of moonlight descended down on Savage Skull due to Ardere’s attack. Even in ruins, Dubhlainn felt a drop of peace, when the world wasn’t at war, it’s usually this quiet.

Shame that his moment was spoiled by the foul stench of the catacombs, pray that nobody knew that Dubhlainn had the opportunity to kill him minutes ago but choose not to, but that will take all the fun from the others, if Harrigan had appeared sooner……

…..Ardere would have lost and this would have concluded in the capture of the Infinity Hydra Guildmaster.

A lot of the Savage Skull trump cards have been released and to the Guildmaster, it was an insult. Rosetta, Garm and most of their tricks were revealed to Ardere as information, as a matter of fact, Savage Skull lost this day.

“Sir! Where are you going?” Asked one of Dubhlainn’s men as the Captain of the Guard mounted his horse.

“I have business to attend to, do as you are ordered, If the damage hasn’t been repaired when I get back, I’m feeding you all to Thorn’s plants.”

And now Dubhlainn sets off with his backpack in hand and rode of towards destination unknown.
