Personality:
Twenty years ago Morning Star was known as Marcus Korvin, a high standing member of the Rune Knights who proudly went about slaying demons, devils and dark wizards. After his twentieth year as a Rune Knight he was ambushed and taken by a Dark Wizard who preformed terrible spells on Marcus, twisting his body, mind and soul forever. The result shattered his magical power and reformed it. Fusing his soul with elements of the Seven Deadly Sins.
For nineteen years Marcus traveled the world, trying to cope with the idea that he had the souls of Seven of the most powerful Demons in the world dwelling in his body. This ruined the power the former Rune Knight once held, causing his body to revert in it's physical prowess as he struggled to rebuild his life.
Slowly Marcus started to go crazy, talking to himself and the souls inside him. His left eye changed, giving him perfect aim and a glowing red pupil along with enhanced vision that he used to spy people from afar and stay away from them. Despite his best efforts though Marcus started to desire to see others fall to misfortune and pain. Harnessing his Sin Souls Marcus started to hunt down strangers and kill them with his bare hands and old blades, carving the names of sins into his targets bodies.
His victims swore Marcus was the devil and thus the name of Morning Star was taken on. As he embraced this side of his life Morning Star developed a lust to see others in pain. Going out of his way to harm people and taking joy in it. He developed a great pride for his skills at picking out targets and killing them. Those who opposed him were met with his terrible wrath.
In combat Morning Star is a calculating and patient man. Though his greed for Jewels and rare magical items drives him forward he is a glutton for death. That alone is his true driving force. He shows envy towards those who have powerful magical items even those he works with, driving him to either plan his allies deaths to take what they have or simply use a form of Sloth by not acting to help them.
While fighting Morning Star strikes with great accuracy and often defeats weaker foes in a single strike. Rarely does he bother to use his Take over Magic unless a foe has proven themselves worthy of seeing the power of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. In all fights he is calm and collected, often giving his foes the first strike to see how they act and form a combat plan accordingly.
In a team Morning Star is comfortable as either the leader or the follower, using the same tactics either way. Letting the men or women he works with do most of the heavy lifting and moving in to steal the glory of a kill for himself before anyone has the chance to say anything. If he thinks an ally will be useful then Morning Star will go out of his way to help others but otherwise won't think twice about slaying those who outlive their usefulness.
Likes:
- Sin- Morning Star loves to see others live in sin. If someone can appeal to that nature of his he will often let them live even if he wanted to kill them a moment ago.
-Power- Coveting Power above almost everything else, Morning Star will often ally with stronger men and women only to stab them in the back later and take their power.
-Souls- Demons and Devils take power from making deals for souls, however Morning Star has developed the ability to eat souls.
Dislikes:
-Saints- Saints or those how are attuned to slaying Demons and Devils are the bane of Morning Star's world. He hates them more than any other living creature and will go out of his way to kill them. If he can't do it he will find someone who can and manipulate them to doing Morning Star's work for him.
-Rune Knights- The Rune Knights were there when Morning Star was taken by the Dark Wizard and part of him blames the Rune Knights for not saving him all those years ago.
-Holy artifacts- Holy items harm Morning Star at the touch of them, driving him to destroy them whenever possible.
Motivations:
-Eliminating Rune Knights- The fact that the Rune Knights didn't come to find him makes Morning Star want to kill them all. It is one of his greatest desires to kill every last one of them and wipe them off the face of the world.
-Power- Morning Star has a strong lust and greed for becoming the strongest Demon to ever live, ruling over all the others.
-Completion- His take overs are currently only partial at best and Morning Star wants to complete each of the sin's take overs and learn to combine them.
Fears:
-Holy Relics- The one thing that can truly kill the Seven Sins are holy Relics attuned to each of the sins. It is in Morning Star's best interest to avoid facing anyone holding one of these seven items of power.
-Powerful Rune Knights- It's no secret Rune Knights hate Dark Wizards, and hunt them down with extreme force. Morning Star would rather not fight someone he isn't capable of defeating so avoids stronger foes at all costs.
-Stronger Demons- Until Morning Star can come to full power other Demons could simply drag his take over souls back to hell where they came from, leaving him as a lifeless husk of a man.

Appearance: Morning Star is a man in his mid 40's with a styled Mustache that comes down to frame the side of his lips. He is often found in dark blue military garb with his old decorations from his time in the Rune Knights. Over his left eyes is a black eye patch that covers his magically altered eye. Under his dark blue jacket he wears a black form fitting shirt that has no sleeves and holds a short sword on the small of his back. On his hip is a long blade made for slashing and stabbing in rapid motions. Black boots that always shine cover his feet.
