    Job info:

Sebastian was slowly but surely getting used to the fact that he was not just a mere travelling jester now, but a mage. Of course, he still got to travel, but now it was more of a neccessity than pleasure, just like a few years back. However, this time it was somewhat split on those two ends. It was a sort of job, but it was mostly just getting free, promotional stuff. Sebastian was never big into technology himself, but since it was supposed to be something to help with communication across long distances, he thought, why not.

It took him a while to get to the Neutral Grounds, where the ad said they're giving out these iLac things. As he approached the area, he took in the somewhat futuristic atmosphere. That was certainly unlike any he had seen before. He's more used to plains and forests, which usually are not packed with technology. However, when he entered, he felt... uneasy.  At that moment he realized that he couldn't feel his magic. /"This whole area is shrouded in a silence field...?"/ Sebastian wondered. He knew that the Neutral Grounds kept usage of magic to absolute minimum or rather zero, but this fact quite surprised him. /"Hopefully their security is tight."/ He didn't think that he'd get attacked right off the bat or anything, but he felt kind of weak and helpless if something were to go down.

Sebastian was quite surprised at the amount of people walking in the streets. It could almost stand up to the great city of Magnolia. Almost. Still, it was interesting that this many people enjoyed such way of life. The jester would step to the side of the street, so he wouldn't stay in way of people as he reached into one of his travelling pouches. He pulled out a paper with the key information from the ad scribbled over it. He wanted to make sure that he was heading in the right direction, before getting utterly lost. Skimming over the writing, he set on a what he hoped was the right direction to the iLac factory.

He kept on walking and walking, believing he's more and more lost with each passing step. The jester was about to give up and start asking people for directions, when he saw an intriguing poster. He approached it in order to take a better look. It seemed that it was just a larger, poster version of the ad he had ecountered back in Magnolia. He was about to sigh in disappointment, when he noticed a tiny tidbit on the poster.

"At the end of the street on your right, you too, can get your iLac in the factory itself!"

He had gotten close after all! The jester almost jumped for joy, when he remembered that he had no time for such shenanigans. He headed to the right street, just like the poster told him to. After a short walk he found himself at the iLac factory he was looking for this whole time. It was quite the factory, but still managed to look elegant. He noticed some people going in and some leaving. With a small shrug he would venture inside himself.

The building looked just as elegant on the inside as it was on the outside. The jester was almost immediatelly approached by a quite pretty young lady, who asked him whether he was there for the iLac promotion. It didn't take him long to get the iLac device itself. It did take him a little bit to take in how to use it and what it could do, however. According to the lady he could talk to someone else across the country, provided they also have iLac and he has their code, or something. It apparently also had a bunch of other stuff built in, like the Sorcerer's Weekly.

After the exhausting explanation he left the factory with his new iLac in hand. Unfortunately, Sebastian didn't have a code for anybody, so he couldn't test it out, but it was pretty neat, all in all. Was it worth the trip to the Neutral Grounds? Maybe, in the long run. But for the time being, he knew he wanted to feel magic once again.
