History of the Magic
Magic Compendium is an ancient type of magic, or rather simply put a book with magic. It's so old that it's nearly unheard of. Within Ace's possession is a book simply titled, "Magic Compendium" just as its name implies it is a book of magic. At one time in its pages was a record of all magic but now the entirety of the compendium is empty. An empty archive of magic is no use to anyone and thus it is getting its pages refilled by Ace.
Ace and the Compendium
The two are inseparable, practically one and the same. It resides within Ace though he can remove it and carry it around if he desires. It is considered a caster magic as Ace does not require the book to cast. In a sense the book merely is the physical embodiment of his magic, or the magic that has been collected by him. The two coexist, without Ace there would be no book, and without the book there would be no Ace. Its pages are filled by Ace, any magic seen by him will be recorded within the books seemingly infinite amount of pages. Magic can be handwritten in by Ace if he had the desire to do so but because the two are paired together, the book more or less seems to be connected to him. Magic that he see's is automatically printed onto the pages.
Combat/Function
Essentially, this magic works like memory make magic. All of the magic is within Ace's head and can be recalled by him provided that the pages within his book are still in tact. In a sense the book is the physical manifestation of his memories, a way in which others can look at and learn other magics from his memory if he wished to share them (which he doesn't). After seeing a spell he can then cast then freely cast the said spell (That said spell would be registered here for him to use at his disposal). His magic is purely a collection of spells in which he has seen. Before any spells can be registered he must have that players permission to use their approved spell in his magic and the link to the thread he saw it in must be provided when registering the spell. He cannot recreate spells higher than his rank and must have actually been in a thread with them before he can register his magic. All spells recreated by him are exactly the same as he has seen meaning that MP costs, duration, strengths, and weaknesses are exactly the same.
Strengths: Ace's spells are perfect recreations of the spells he has seen
Weaknesses: Is limited by the same factors as his opponents spells

Unique Abilities:
Nullify: When his spells collide with another spell of equal rank they simply null each other out with no spell overpowering the other.
Eyesight: With his single eye Ace has excellent vision for obvious reasons. He's trained to spot and read magic so that it could be recorded which means that magic produced illusions of his rank can easily be seen through.
Second Eye: Beneath the eye patch is in fact a second eye. It remains hidden because of his lack of control over this eye and it's "power".
Compendium: This is a unique ability that may only be used in socials and that is with the other players permission. Since it purely for story/socials it may not be used in jobs, events, or PvP. Naturally, Ace will see a lot of magic over the course of his life and all of this magic is recorded into his compendium. This is essentially a compendium of spells that he has seen but is not on his Primary Magic Application. These spells follow the same rules (Must have characters permission to record them with link attached to where the magic was seen) and are already approved spells on another person's magic application. The spells in which he has seen will be placed in his Character Bank.

Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrong doers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless. With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.
Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental. Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
Usage:
Passive: 5% MP regeneration.
Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.

Description: This spell is just the as its name implies. It allows Ace to copy an opponents spell when they cast it, it's essentially a fast way for him to counter an opponents spell as when two equal opposing forces collide, they simply nullify. The duration/Cooldowns follows that of the copied spell but as this is his signature spell it does not have an MP cost.
Strengths: Allows Ace to quickly counter an opponents spell to protect him from damage.
Weaknesses: He must see the spell to copy it
He cannot quick copy spells above his rank

Description: A simple spell that allows Ace to be able to "see" behind him, the image of what is behind him is merely projected into his head and there is no visible sign when he activates this spell.
Strengths: Allows Ace to see behind him
Weaknesses: Deals no damage
Is limited by his own eyesight, this spell functions like his own eyes so he doesn't gain any sudden increase in distance seen or anything like that.
