Primary Magic: Heart of Ice: Frozen Hearth. Secondary Magic: N/A Caster or Holder: Caster Description: The magic Ming holds is one that has been developed by her family over generations for not only self defense but also to help the family. High in the mountains of Midi are a family of people who farm not crops or animals but rather some of the purest ice one can get around Earthland. The water that makes this ice is some of the purest mountain water one can get and nobles snap up what they can get for high prices. Because of this the nature of their "Farm" is living in harsh conditions to get the best samples possible before shipping them away for sale. With such conditions comes the threat of avalanche or even worse the threat of hungry Timber Wolves the size of a grown man starving to death. That was where the Zhao family created magic designed around helping the family while simultaneously protecting themselves. In this sense any time Ming casts a spell she creates "Territory" all her own claim the ground itself as her own so that allies and family may receive benefits for being near her zones. Strengths: ❄ The zones Ming creates can have beneficial effects for all allies that she cares for. ❄ Ming becomes very hard to kill over time as she has the hardiness of a true mountain woman. ❄ With all of her different Ice spells she can be very strong in colder environments due to her resilience to it. Weaknesses: ❄ Ming is still limited in the number of her zones she can have at once meaning that people have to keep up with her to receive their benefits (or Ming with them as it were.) ❄ Ming has a natural soft spot for Earth Users who more easily crush her magic with ease. ❄ While Ming is able to keep herself going with her own benefits things like her territory and other spells work best when there are plenty of people to affect with them. ❄ Even with how useful she can be speed is not her strong suit as years in the frozen mountains and her unique body type make it harder to go faster than a usual jog. Lineage: Blizzard Wizard: Description: In ancient times there was an island made entirely of magical ice crystals. The people who lived there melted the magical ice and drank it daily instead of regular water. They needed the gifts the ice provided to survive during the cold winters. They could withstand the cold temperatures and icy winds. After many years, the gifts became part of their blood and it was passed down over the generations through reproduction. Some mages moved to the mainland to start their families there and so the unique and rare bloodline spread over Fiore. Mages with the bloodline today can call upon these gifts to gain a light blue aura around them that protects them from cold temperatures and the freezing effects of ice and ice magic. The ice can still harm them physically, but it cannot freeze them while they use this power. Ability: Immune to freezing and chilling effects (low temperatures), cancels freezing effects if used. Gives the user a 25% resistance to any and all ice spells, regardless of rank. They gain a single user-ranked ice spell (S Max) or a user-ranked minus one signature ice spell (A Max) in addition to their spells. Usage: Passive. Unique Abilities: ❄ Home of Ice: Ming has the ability that whenever she casts a spell (Exempting Signature ones.) she can create a field of frost beneath herself in a 5m wide radius around herself. This frost is what is known as "Territory" and any allies or people Ming considers a friend while inside this zone given a 20% Speed boost which is further increased by 5% per Rank of Ming herself. Ming may only have three Zones out at once and when she casts a new spell the oldest one is removed. These Zones last for 5 Posts. (Zones cannot stack their bonuses and will not be able to overlap eachother.) ❄ Woman of the Mountain: Ming with all her time in the mountains has been capable of gaining a sturdiness to herself that most would not expect. Because of this Ming gains an extra 10% HP per rank and will also take 25% Less damage from Ice based or Cold based spells. ❄ Stay Frosty: All of Mings spells apply a 25% Slow on those they hit lasting for 2 posts after the impact. If Ming were to hit an enemy with 3 spells back to back however, Ming will instead freeze the enemy solid stunning them for one post (Reduced to a 50% slow if they are one rank or higher than Ming and all slowing effects halved on enemies two ranks above Ming.) ❄ Frozen Defiance: Ming at the cost of being 25% slower all the time has a natural boost to her strength by 50% allowing her to hit harder even if she is much slower than one would expect. |
