    Job:

It seems Ignite would not be able to help him on this one, but be taking her own branch part of this mission instead. That was unfortunate, she played a key role in many of his jobs, and sometimes may even be the main role. Elyx didn’t believe one should have attention anymore than the other, but whenever a good deed is done, at least give them a little credit. However, it is a dangerous move to give move to give them too much credit, which would eventually get into their head. The fact that he would be entering dreams is a first, and most certainly an experience that the boy will try not to forget. It was unfortunate, but he is a boy who is unable to have actual dreams. Heck, he can't even have nightmares, and the worst part of it was, he was unable to even explain it. There was no logical answer to explain such a mystery. Still however, that didn't change a thing. Maybe he could speak to this nightmare dream king and get some answers, if not beat the bloody hell out of him first. A smile was placed on his face as he was feeling his head empty a little bit, attention on the real world slowly but surely fading away. Though he was still conscious of the real world around him, he was still unable to feel anything. Not even the gentle bed under his back, which was most certainly soft. This has better not be a trick, or a really awful scheme. The first sign of that happening, he will bail out of the dream using Wind Lerale Effect Control, then destroy this building. His client didn't seem like the pervy sort of woman however, she acted desperate, and maybe even a little weird, but she means well. Despite how insane the Dreamworld she described sounded, all he had to do was simply slay a king and a few knights, nothing that Pergrandes job had different, just one less king. As for the kings themselves, based on the Lerale magicians experiences, he noticed that they were not quite skilled in combat. They heavily relied on their knights to fight for them, they wear themselves out with divine foods instead of proper footstepping for melee combat. It was a shameful truth in most of them, hopefully as an Ace, he was not as spoiled as that. The boy liked to advance himself whenever it comes to things that he may have been doing wrong. It was just simply to better himself, and that was exactly what he needed if he wanted to throw down with Cain in their foreseeable future. That Existence Cannon waste probably forced themselves to get behind schedule, they probably even believe that he was dead right now. If anything, that just gave him the advantage, his set of pawns reached the other side of the board. Now they can all be Queen pieces, and with just a little bit more time, Elyx can finally put Cain on checkmate before finally killing the king. Not without a few words before the killing however, and they'll be cold ones. Those nice experiences however, can only be expressed in a dream. A dream that he was about to enter soon enough. How he couldn't wait for it…

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 1:55 pm

Elyx had smiled as he was finally put away into a nice blurry world, a new one. All of his previous senses have been negated, no longer able to function as effectively as they would if they were awake. Not because they went away however, but because they actually invested themselves in the dream that he was going to be entering. The first one was quite a familiar dream, not that he really bared much mind to it. If this was what he remembered from the past, then he was back at his house. But not quite in his room, so it was most likely a dream instead of him being awoken by Ignite or something. It was… Izayukis room? That seemed to be the case, the small room with a bed, a bookshelf, a pile of things she raided from him. This had to be it, but why was he here first? That was a question that needed an answer, one answer to be given via recon. Investing time to examine his own house, that felt a lot worse than what it was actually supposed to feel. So there were 20 knights and a king somewhere in the world of dreams, and apparently one of them wanted to raid his home in Izayukis dream. He couldn’t afford to let his student suffer, this was a nightmare realm according to his client. Somewhere around here, the nightmare would be taking place. He would learn about Izayukis fear as well, since that was what this whole world was based on. Was it him that was the nightmare? Ignite maybe? Couldn’t be Azalea for sure… Then again, how could he be sure of anything in a dream? How could he be sure that it would be the three of them specifically in his house, and that this were not some sort of guild hall for a dark guild. This is the thin ice that he must tread carefully if he wanted to live in the end, one single blow is all it takes for him to be shut down and out of the dreams… Or worse, possibly killed in a dream. That dream has an owner, which would eventually wake up. And if his body was located inside of that dream, it would be erased along with the dream as well. So… There was a lot at stake with this job, and now he knew why this is called a 100 Year job. This might be an eternity sort of job. He would have to get rest as well, doing recon and finding beings 21 times will eventually get tiresome. And since they were dreams designed to manifest on fears, those fears probably have some sort of power that makes them fearsome. Izayuki was a reckless and uncaring young lady, not much could phase her. The things that might phase him would probably not even make her flinch. So things that actually did make her scared… How badly could it scare and beat the living life out of Elyx? Well, no time to turn around, he had to press forward and get towards the fear. He’s not forced to fight it from up front, a sneak attack could finish the job if he were to execute it correctly. That happening is half and half, and he never believed those to be the best odds. Actually, he found them to be one of the worst, a 50 on a test in Shadelle was considered a flunking grade. Great… He’s dealing with flunking chances.

Time to search around the room to see what might have scared Izayuki. Nothing out of the ordinary at first based on what he could see. But anything could fool the eye, maybe he would have to use Deemos Orb in order to get the illusions wiped out. Then again, in doing so, he might destroy the dream as well. Dreams were considered illusions, not real, but looks so real to make others think otherwises. If he gets rid of something here that is an illusion, and that illusion was linked with the dream, he might end up erasing himself and Izayukis dream. Though that might have given her peace of mind for the night, he would probably like it better if he were to just keep looking around. The risk factor for dying there is was lower, and he liked it when those numbers were heavily lowered like that. As hit feet tipped and tapped on the ground as he walked, he noticed that the words on the books on the bookshelf were not able to be read. Something new to learn, one is unable to read in a dream. Now Elyx can confirm if he were dreaming by looking at a book, or rather, anything with some sort of readable text on it. A stop sign, a billboard, something. Not that he drove… Yet. That’s something that he plans to do in the future though. Hm, it seems I have no problem with speaking in a dream now, like I am now. The boy noticed, not a real difference with his speaking as if he were speaking in the real world. Learning about dreams was interesting to him, especially since he never actually had any. This was a new concept for him, anyone who travelled him had to bare that in their mind. Fortunately, he was alone, so he didn’t have to explain anything. His weird mystery is safe, and if he could not hold back any other one, he’s going to keep his dream safe. Now… Time to test the door. It seemed weird as he got to the door, there was some weird music being played in the background. It sounded slow, mystic, and especially creepy. A dark piano playing one note at a time, it’s echos scratch the walls as well. To be safe, he placed his hand over toward his left hip, relieved to find out that Knight Iris was there. If that’s the case, Mystic Knight Iris was guaranteed to be on the other side. It took a bit of time, but finally, he began twisting the handle, bracing himself for what were to happen, ready to get into combat with whatever might be behind the door, ready to try to kill him. As he opened the door, he let out a small yell to alarm the enemies that might be there. But surprisingly enough, there was actually no one behind it at all. What… Happened? The house was normal, but empty… And with his abilities, he couldn’t sense magic nearby him. Ignite and Elyx were not here, the same could be said about Aza. But… Izayuki had to be somewhere in her dream, but where!? This worried the boy, his student might be caught in the nightmare already. The one rumor many say is that it is impossible to die in a dream… But suffering is most certainly a possibility. A possibility that is worse than death actually…

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 1:56 pm

It seemed like there was something about this whole job that seemed off. Wouldn't someone have been able to attack him while he was down? After all, he was just another unsuspecting victim of an attack previously. Anything that knew his presence in the world would normally have just attacked him and finished him off. Then again, how did he know it was that powerful? For all he knew, it might have been the weakest of enemies. Dreams are like light, right? Then again, Nightmares might also be like darkness. Mixing them both would be chaos? An out of balance sort of world, maybe that's what the knights were like. If that's the case, they probably have no organization as well, a very deadly flaw if they planned to survive a battle against the Lerale magician. Well, time to take a next step, just simply endure the weird music and navigate down a few places around the mansion to locate anything weird... Out of the ordinary. Something one wouldn't necessarily expect. Yo! Come out here and fight me! Stop screwing with Izayukis nightmares before I search you out, and don't expect a fast death if you force me to do just that! He challenged below the staircase, seeing if he would get a reaction. Not so surprisingly, nothing came out. So it seemed like he would be forced to play a little game of hide and seek, and it's not going to be a nice one. All righty then! The rules are simple, you hide! I seek! We keep at this until I find you, then I kill you! Think you can survive the night? He asked before looking down once again over the rail of the stairs, this time, walking down the steps as well. His right hand still was locked onto Knight Iris, nothing too different than what his promise intended. Threats to his bounties were promises, he never intended to break one, not did he plan to let anything stop him. No one plans that thing, but unlike them, Elyx made sure he had plenty of counters to their foils. For example, if they don't take damage via sword, he has a whole variety of spells made of wind. Better yet, if the enemies were actually mages, they would have been done for with his Caster Seal magic. Most mages were Casters after all, based on what he had seen. Many arrogant ones among them, so few he could pick out as sweet and kind. It was unfortunate about how not everyone could be like that, it would make everyones life so easier. But no, so much barking from such crude dogs who didn't deserve any better than a slaughtered pig, preferably, being slaughtered by one of their own kind. Elyx shook his head from side to side as he was thinking of such awful things. It was not like him to get so angry, it's just arrogance is something he hated much. So very much. He liked stories of arrogant ones, they were fun and not harming anyone in the real world. But as for the real world, they run their mouths like chainsaws. The chance to shut them up will not be taken for granted, even if just for a few seconds, that would be a few seconds less of their annoying voice to hear.

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 1:57 pm

From the side, he thought he could have heard some ticking. Like tiny footsteps. Too important a detail to leave out. He had to track down whatever it was causing those footsteps to occur. It would hopefully be the knight, and not anything that would only screw with how long the mission takes. If it were a coward of a knight, Elyx had nothing to fear. Sure, they take a bit of time to catch, but they are unable to get away. A Wind Lerale magician is not designed to lose in a race, or any form of game requiring reflexes. To make a chase, he decided to take a small jump over the rail and hit his shoes against the tile ground, such a shame he was unable to see anything from there when he looked left and right. But he didn't take too long to see that there was a small tail moving around the corner. Time to pursue it on foot. The boy made a run for it as he then held the corner with barely the tips of his finger, then swung his body around to hit the ground once again. Great, he was getting closer. But he forgot about the fork in his way. A two way fork for him specifically. There was the left part of it, which would lead him towards the kitchen. A nice possibility, but nothing really too haunting. The right side lead down to the basement, a BEAUTIFUL place for someone to be creeped out, both in real life and in a nightmare. Taking the more cliche of the two, he turned his body to the right to chase the small thing down. Once again, a tail going away, this time, into the darkness. Where the shadow is located, looks like he'll have to follow into the darkness. Such a shame however, if he wanted to see, he normally had Ignite help him out with that. But instead, he ended up with nothing to provide him light except for Deemos Orb. Once again, the risk of doing that is that he might eliminate the current illusion that the dream is giving him, if he were to get rid of it, he might have gotten rid of himself as well. That's not on his list of things to do in this job, so he decided to take chances with the darkness instead of chances with logic. As he got to the basement, he noticed that the door was already a little bit open as it is. Something was in there all right, the basement was always locked. Unless for some reason, the nightmare lets it stay open, this would seem odd. Elyx chose to believe the latter of the two options presented in from of him, and went inside. His sword held tightly, his eyes locked at the darkness, ready to sway. A sudden flickering light was showing towards the corner, in which Knight Iris was then pointed towards, almost freaking the boy to the point in which he might have jumped. The soft light revealed a little Tanuki Dog though, and a familiar one. Izayuki... A scared one as well... She was hiding behind her tail the best she could, shivering nervously. The Lerale magician sheathed his sword back where it belonged, this was the owner of the dream that he found.

There there Iza, It is only me. Elyx is here for you, come here, I'll protect you from the monster. The boy would say to her before placing his hand out. She was mute in an adorable Tanuki sort of way. A small tic would occur as she pawed forward. This was where he had to stay completely still so that she did not get alarmed by his presence. The violinist would remain still as the Tanuki would paw forward, little by little as she finally got to his hands. Her head would tilt to the side as she then examined the hands, fear still showing in her eyes. He would not move though, this was about making her comfortable though, not himself. His goal was to rid her of her fears only, regardless of how he felt. Normally, he would put others in front of him rather than behind him in priorities, so this was nothing new to him. Once she finally felt comfortable with his presence, she would slowly walked into his hands before he would gently lift her up. He'd give her a hug before turning her around, and then they would have to look for the source of the fear together. What exactly did she fear again? There Iza, nothing to fear. Come on now, we are getting you out of this damn place. I'll protect you, don't worry about a thing. He would explain before walking out of the basement. Only for there to suddenly be a woman standing in front of them. She did not look too pleasant, and who let her into his house? The smile on her face, it tells the stories that can only bring pain the others. Iza would shrivel in her arms as she tried to tuck herself back in them. So this was the source of her fear, this woman, who was not going to just simply stand there either. Elyx would place his right foot back, and a smile would then reveal on the womans face as she took a matching step forward. So you are the nightmare that I am looking for huh. Why don't you give me a name? Elyx would command as he would hold Iza with his left arm. The lady tilted her head to the side with the same cocky smile before sudden a shot of ice would shoot from up front, about five feet away. Instincts just as fast as that, he would pull out Master Iris and slice upwards, the ice being cut in half and passing him from the two sides of his. This surprised the lady a little bit, and the boy would just remain firm with what he wanted answered. That was not an answer. What is your name... Answer me now before I cut a few slices, and trust me, they won't be ordinary. He would answer, only for another bit of ice to come. Simple cut once again, and the same scenario decided to repeat itself. A smile would appear on her face, like this was some sort of game. The game was going to be cut short rather quickly at this rate. Murdering this woman in a dream would not do anything, it was a mere illusion. That would not get rid of Izayuki's fear though, so that was not an option.

A smile would then emit on her face, it seemed that if he could at least relieve her fear long enough for her to be happy among the 20 others, then this job would be a success. He'll fight against the lady. Go in the basement Iza, I'll handle this clown right here. He would explain before he let her go gently onto the ground. The Tanuki would waste no time running away from the crazy lady and into the basement. Elyx would then close the door before looking at his opponent. He was now S ranked, he had very little to fear. An intruder in his house would be no different. Blade placed up, he was ready to engage with the lady. The first move would be for him to blur with the air with such a high amount of speed. From there, he would then engage with her with a slice to the right. Naturally, she dodged by hopping back, then returned by balling up her fist, causing an icicle to launch up from below the boy. He would see that coming easily and stomp right in time, sending it back down. His strength was not to be messed with. Once that was successful, he'd place his blade up again, now it was her turn. She would engage with a huge blast of ice from her right palm, and it was big enough to destroy almost anything in it's path. A smirk would emit on her face as she had struck him, and it should freeze him. However... That was not the case. When it ended, a few clicks could be heard as a data shield had been activated. Such a successful block, not a single blow on him. In fact, it only looked like it made him a little angrier. While she was open, he would take the chance, and he'd jump at her quickly with blurring speed until the blade did it, it entered through her chest, directly at the heart. The first part was rather hard to burst through, but strength was not a problem, and now what had been done had been done. He was successful, in Izayuki's dream, he had killed what she had feared. But who was this woman? And what was her name? The one thing that Elyx knew for sure was that each one of them linked with each other. As in, they all are unable to talk for some reason. There will be nothing verbally taunting, but nothing giving verbal hints either. His clients would also not be able to speak either, so they will be unable to tell him directly about the whereabouts of the fear that they have, maybe they would not do that regardless, but their talking could help him. And now they were unable to speak. Something like this had to be done 19 more times, and then the peace would be restored in the world after one FINAL battle. This was definitely going to take a while.

Izayuki would be behind him, watching the body of the lady fall, and her eyes would open up with much shock. turning around when he felt her presence, he would kneel himself down and open his arms to her so that he would give her a hug. After a few seconds, she would paw over to him and jump into his arms before a few tears and whimpers would emit from her mouth. It seems she was happy, tears of joy for this to be killed. Or maybe not though, her fear was quickly relieved though. The negative effect though was how he began to see blurs. This was not going to be an easy mission to do in a day. This was what the lady explained, he was "Dropping". A yawn would emit from his mouth. Forcing himself to stay awake was impossible, his eyelids refused to do as he commanded. And from there, he would fall over to the side and begin his deep sleep. Day one.

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:00 pm

The morning was bright and nice. And that was the perfect moment for him to wake up in a nice world where nothing seemed to be going wrong. Until he would then see that he was not on a bed, but the wooden ground in a little kids bedroom. There light in his blurred eyes looked like light from something like a candle, his nose would catch a quick whiff of what it actually was, and he was not happy with what he ended up getting a whiff of. The Violinist would cough as he then stood up. The next person was located in the corner of the room, and unfortunate scene would show him crying. This time, the dream proved his theory wrong as he would then make out calls for his mother and father. How old was this kid!? And why was he one of the 20 vessels to be attacked? Regardless of the answers, he was going to have to get the kid over his fear. It seemed it was either being trapped that he was scared of, or fire. Regardless, he was not moving an inch as he would continue screaming for his parents. Elyx had to move to him and quickly get the both of them out of there. If Elyx died now, they were done for. Placing his feet on the ground and pushing himself up with his arms, he would be on his feet. A few steps towards the boy would be taken before the violinist was able to shut up the kid with his presences. It seemed that anyone there to save him would have worked, now there was nothing but the sound of crackling fire and breaking wood. He would bend down so that he could look the kid in his eyes, making sure that their eye contact can not be broken from each other.

Hey there little one, I'm here to get you out of the fire! Come with me, I am a firefighter, and I will save you from this mess! He would cry out so that he voice was able to overpower the sound of the fire and the breaking wood. The kid was shivering, very scared for his life. He had to give it all up to one man, and for a kid, that was a lot for him to take in. A smile would emit on his face as he then would hold his arms out open for the kid. The kid would then slowly stand up before taking one step towards Elyx. Two steps, three steps, and eventually, he would be walking over to the other person in the room. Once the kid got there, the violinist would give him a gentle hug before standing back up, bring the victim up into the air with him. He did not have to fear if they got out. Now the goal was to get out of the house, hopefully his parents evacuated from the scene, because if not, there was a high chance of them dying. Stats hurt, but in this life, that was all you ever had. So be realistic with them, and you can minimize what is negative. You can't fix a problem you don't know about. And you won't get things done until you move and revise what is stopping you.

One smile on his face would emit as he now had the kid, but now he was going to have to figure out a way to get out of the house. This felt a lot like a Telltale game, make the wrong choices and everything will go down piece by piece. Make the right choices and things will go smoothly. The first thing he would need is to look around the room for anything that he might find useful. In doing so, they would be able to use things that might get them across the house without much danger. Or possibly, save themselves. With one hand, he would be holding the child. Knowing his strength, he would be very gentle with the grip so that neither of them would end up regretting their choices. With his other hand, he would then begin to pick up items. There was not much that the room really could provide from a quick eye scan. But as he looked around, he saw a few things that might help them. A toy sword, a yo yo, and a basketball. Placing them into his knapsack, he would like to save them all for later, just in case the time of the events would call for it. From there, he would be given two choices. Bailing out through the window, or going through the door. Well, knowing the Telltale games, with a split choice comes a good result and a damaging result. Remembering his objective, he must get out of the house. But there were side yet crucial things that one must think about when they are in a such a mission such as this one. For example, keeping the kid and making sure he gets out. Not only that, but the less damage on his body, the better. It seemed that they were going to have to make the safer choice. Who knows how tall the house was, and if there was a fire and the window locks, how were they going to get down without a scratch?

All right, we're going through the door. Hang onto me tightly, all right kid? He would explain before the kid nodded his head. With that, Elyx would walk through the door, and just like he had expected, the whole place was on fire like the kids bedroom. There was a set of stairs, two hallways, one of the left and one on the right. From there, he would also noticed a chandelier that was on fire, but not on the surface. It could be used as a platform for the two of them to jump on. But then, what were they going to do after that? It was a bad plan. The stairs were on fire as well, and grinding down the rail was not going to be fun while it was on fire. Due to all that friction, both he and the kid will be set on fire. They might be able to look for some emergency exit, but where would one even be? Naturally, Elyx had quite a bit of hope when it came to saving the kid. But with such limited options, this was going to be a lot bigger of a problem than he expected. But then he remember something, the yo yo was with him. Now an idea came to his mind... And it might just get them down to the first floor if all goes as planned.

He would have to place the kid on the ground, so to do that, he would have to tell the kid that he was doing just that so that he would not be alarmed and start running away. Hopefully he would be able to understand, because this was going to take a little bit of time. Hey Kid, I will need you to stand still, okay? I can not have you moving around, all right? This is really important, and I ask for you to bare with me until this is done. He would say, and the kid would nod his head. From there, Elyx would slowly go down so that the kids feet would touch the ground. Once that was done, a smile would be placed on the violinists face. The kid was able to understand to stand still, even though he was shivering in fear. The string of the yo you would shoot, and at quite the distance as well. Using his power to manipulate the dream as much as he could, he would fire the string at the bottom of the staircase and end up clicking the plastic end with the little pillar sort of thing at the bottom of the rail of the stairs. From there, he would tie the loop of the string onto the top pillar area, and in doing so, they have a tightrope. One that is diagonal and above a fire, but a tightrope regardless. Now all he had to do was balance on it with the kid, and they would be on the first floor. He would bend his knees once so that he would be level with the victim. Once that had been done, he would place his hands around his body before picking him back up onto his feet. A smile on his face as he did so, he had the kid up and ready to balance.

Elyx would place his food on the railing that did not go down, but protected anyone who tried to go over it. Those who did go over it fell to the first floor, and that was not going to end with a happy result. The was what the violinist was risking, but it was either than or the kids life and the lives of everyone in the real world suffering. Only the boy was able to take a lot of this crap and still be standing like this, he knew that he had to do this. Their lives were relying on a perfect tightrope with a kid in his arms. Knowing the risks, his left foot would take the first step before the second. This would be a repeating pattern until eventually, he would hit the pillar, which he then stood on. The first floor was not on fire, whoever created the dream thought that the fire would only need to be on the second floor and the stairs, but now he got the kid back. All they would have to do was exit the scene, and the second night had been done. If this were done successfully, there would be 18 more nights to go before they meet the master of the nightmares that were being created in the real world, and Elyx had quite the words to say to him or her... Or maybe even it. He would not be surprised by any of them in all honesty, he had just about seen it all.

Taking gentle steps towards the door on the outside, he would see a few firefighter in the town. They were using water magic to get the job done, and as they got out, the fire finally began to die out. That was the point, keep the fire there until the fire got out. Face the fears until eventually the fear no longer will haunt or hurt you. A smile would be on the kids face, then a huge toothy grin as he then saw both of his parents. Elyx would guide the child over to the worried parents before giving them their child. They looks so worried, the mother with tear stains on their eyes and the father taking the boy. It was so beautiful, the boy and his family were once together again. But from there, the child would then look over to the violinist with a smile on his face, his eyes watery and very teary as he then asked the next question. What was his name, and that would be an easy one to remember. The name is Elyx, Elyx Reiaki. He would announce himself before bowing formally. The boy would then nod his head as the child would then laugh. This was so beautiful. However, there was one thing that the boy would have to think about. It was a special moment all right, but there was one thing that he felt was wrong. The way they talked was not direct. It felt like their words were getting into his mind, and that was how they spoke. But they did not actually talk to him, not physically. It was a weird thing, and definitely something that is not normal due to the fact that in is own dreams, talking was how they communicate. The medicine from Nimpha did not have an effect on him either, so that was showing that he could dream normally as well.

From there, he would then begin to stop thinking. It was time for him to sleep, but right now? On the cold hard ground of the neighborhood? Would he be all right? Those questions did not matter now, he had his good 30 minutes of freedom on him. Now he was going to be forced to sleep for another day already. Those were two vessels done with. Now he was going to have to finish the job once 18 others and a final boss were present. The vision in his eyes were blurring, things were multiplying quickly, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and then pixels. This was him dropping once again. Unfortunate, the boy wanted to fight the sleep and try to learn a bit about the child, maybe even learn about where he lived and try to help him a bit more with the problem of fire. Ignite would be there to help, she would be the friendly fire. And he would do it with no cost at all. The boy smiled at the idea as he would fall onto his knees. A yawn would then emit from his lips before the body then fell towards the right side. With this, he would then begin to fall into a nice sleep as the pixels became nothing but darkness. His body hit the ground finally, and then he was fast asleep. Day Two.

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:05 pm

The third dream was a little bit more gentle. This time, he would end up in a bedroom again, and this time, it was not on fire. Already, he would not be in as much danger as the other job. Still though, there was a reason why this was a person that was chosen to be a vessel. This was a nightmare for the person who try to try to fight the fear on their own. That was why he was there though, it was an unfortunate event for him to deal with, he was going to have to avoid 20 fears, and he was lucky enough to find out that the previous two did not apply to him. This dream started off weird, there seemed to be yelling going down from below. He would take this chance while no one saw him to do a bit of recon on the room. The wall was painted white, and a there was a bed with two giant plushies. But the bed was only half made, and the bears each had one missing limb. The white bear on the left side had an arm missing, the cotton springing out from the plush in a brutal looking way. That did not look like a happy camper right there, was there a girl that liked to beat up the plushies? If so, in a way, that was sort of messed up. But he did not have all of the information, so he had no right to be making any assumptions. As he continued to scan the room, he would notice that there was a small child on the ground as well, just crawling around as well. She looked to be about 2 or 3 years old, and she was crying. Now THIS was something that he would have to look upon. Looking at the child, he would have to see if she were hurt in any sort of way. Placing his palm against her back, he would scan her body. And fortunately, she did not seem hurt. It seemed that he was going to have to help the child somehow.

Elyx would have to be a father, and the first thing that he would do was change the child. To do that, he would have to find some diapers. From there, he would then pick up the child, though she did not stink, it would be a good idea to change her a little bit. Elyx could not help but want to cry, he was not prepared to do something like this. But a baby crying always made him want to kill whatever made it cry. They were such innocent creatures, and they should not be upset. The yelling was still going downstairs as Elyx would be on the top floor and looking for the bathroom. It took a bit of time for him to find it, but once he did, he would enter. Fortunately, this family had a baby changing station. Fortunately, unlike a few assholes, this one did not drop the C. The boy would then walk over towards the station before he would begin operation. The process was not fun at all, but it had to be done to save the child a lot of suffering. Finally once the baby ended up having its diaper replaced, the old diaper would be thrown into the trash. Nothing more to do there. However, the child was still crying. It seemed to be in need of something else.

The baby was crying, not as hard as before, but she was still crying. Holding her in his hands once again, he would then walk over to her room. Maybe there were a few toys that she would like to play with. A baby when bored wanted attention. Despite this being a theory, Elyx did not realize that she already was having enough attention with him taking care of her. From there, he would then let her go onto the ground in a playpen. However, it took only a short amount of time for him to receive another bit of screaming. From there, one of the two that were yelling at each other were addressing the child, causing his eyes to open even wider. The second however brought back in their previous conversation, and so they were distracted once again, giving the boy more time to work. He would pick up the child once again before he would then place his hands on the baby once again, then he would pick up the child before placing her out of the Play pen. It was a smart choice, her crying then shrunk once again. A smile would then appear on his face as he then had an idea. The thought of leaving the child alone though pain him a lot already. This was something that he would have to cure, and he had an idea. Nothing like a few snacks and a bottle of warm milk to help a baby. He would have to bring the child with him so she would not be left alone. He would make his way down the stairs before he would then see two adults fighting. A man and a woman. The man was angry, furious, his hands balled up into fists while the woman was screaming back, her tone not as confident. It seemed they were going to be like that for a while, they might not even notice him going to the kitchen.

With blurring speed, he would go down the stairs before going through the living room instead of going through the dining room. The reason that he had done this was because of the fact that he was trapped and would have been caught by the parents with a child in his hands, possibly theirs. That would not look so good. So he had to take a detour. From the living room, he would go around before seeing a media room, then a bedroom. The bedroom connected to the second. Once he got in there, he then saw a third open door that would bring him to the kitchen. A nice detour, there were two ways to get to the kitchen. From there, he would then look at the fridge before opening it up. There was milk in there and a few animal crackers when he searched real hard. That would not work, she might be teething at this age. There was applesauce with a free plastic spoon, and he would take that instead. From there, he would grab a bottle before filling it with milk, then using his magic to heat it up. He'd run back towards the baby's room before he would sit down with the child. Hopefully this would work. Placing the plastic spoon into the applesauce, he would place it into the small mouth of the child. Time to feed the child.

He would then begin, and the baby would suck on the spoon gently before pulling out the spoon, and he would repeat this process before she would then no longer accept it as quickly, so it was clear that she had enough. The boy did not want to overfeed her. Her eyes told a story of a little bit of discomfort, and he was able to understand what she wanted. Placing her head over his shoulder, his left hand would be holding her. The right hand would then pat her back gently, and a burp would reveal itself. Yup, just like he thought, and he would not stop there. As a child, he would normally do two. Maybe this girl was like him, which is why he would continue this patting. After a few more seconds, the second burp would then come out. And for the first time, he had heard it. The sound that he would like to hear. A giggle came out from the girls mouth as she would then be placed down onto the ground. A smile on her face now, but she did not like her playpen. The next thing to do was put her to sleep, which was what the warm milk was for her. A baby would be knocked out to sleep with that. Placing the rubber end of the bottle into her mouth, he would then give her the bottle of milk to drink up. Her eyes were calming as she took in the delicate drink. Finally, he would let go of the bottle, and the child would then yawn. Time to put her in her crib. Once he had done that, the boy would then look at the door before the child went to sleep. It was time to investigate the yelling below, it seemed that it was not the baby with the fear. Obviously, it made sense. The baby was like a distraction, but to see one in pain and suffering would always make him help them. He loved the sound of children laughing, not crying. If he had to put a job out of the way for him to ease if not relieve the pain of a child, then that is exactly what they would do.

Taking his steps down there, he would then see the man do it... The one thing that a man should never do to a woman... And not just once. He not only yelled at her, but he would then backhand her and send her onto the ground. From there, he would crouch down before aiming a punch to her face. This was cruel... A wifebeater, now he was a dead bastard. Wifebeater! I will KILL YOU! Elyx exclaimed before jumping down from the second floor and onto the mans back. His fist extended, he would strike from the back of the mans head. The lady would roll a bit to the side, a few tears on her face. It all made sense now. The lady was the client. And her worst fear... Was her husband. This was the fear that she has nightmares about, she was scared of her husband. This woman stays, and for whatever reason as well. Elyx will help her though, by beating a lesson into the man, even if it is a dream. Then he will ask for the location of this house, and do the same to make sure the man understood what it meant to treat a lady.

A wifebeater will receive no mercy from the boy. This one will feel the pain that his wife must have felt for a very long time. If he could at least ease her pain, even if just a little bit, then he was willing to go all out to make sure that small amount of medicine was given. This lady probably had a low paying job, which is why she is forced to stay with him. Especially since she had a baby. The thing was, he would destroy her, possibly even kill her with that sort of awful behavior. Unacceptable, not worth the trouble, this man needed a beatdown. The man tried to resist, naturally. But this was the average human, which matched D rank strength, against Elyx, an S ranked mage with a lot more physical power than this man could expect. Pinning him down before striking on his head three times was nowhere near a problem. From there, the man would be knocked out instantly, he was not going to hurt the wife anymore. It was not going to be a problem to do that again, however, the goal was not to kill them, but to have the clients get over their fear. Seeing someone stand up for her, seeing the fear of hers being knocked out right in front of her eyes, the fear of being beaten would leave the scene instantly as a guardian finally took the moment to defend her. There was no one in the house that was willing to save her from the monster that was her husband. Unfortunately for her, this was a dream, and he would be trying to beat her again in real life. However, that did not mean he could not help her out. Again, he would love to do something like this again. This was not something that the boy would consider acceptable, and will do his actions that he had just done again and again until the job was done.

Looking over to the lady, he would stand up before placing his hands in his pockets. Her eyes had fear in them, her right cheek had a bruise on it in the meantime. From there, he would begin to speak with her, explaining what he had done. I handled the baby upstairs. She needed to be changed, and she was hungry. Now she is sleeping, so please don't wake her up. Ma'm, if you need any help, call Black Rose to handle this man. We will make sure that he will never leave you and will support you and the baby, and we will make sure that the man would not abuse you again. My name is Elyx, Elyx Reiaki. He would announce himself, finishing off the explanation before he would then feel the world blur around him once again. It seemed that the fear here had been dealt with, even if just done for the moment, he still handled it. The boy would feel himself fall onto his knees once again, and from there, he would flop to the side before falling down. Finally, he would then be put to sleep, it seemed that this client was happy enough. That was why he had dropped. The communication theory still stood, it all sounded like it was in his mind. Now it was over though. Day four.

The smile on his face would tell the story, sleeping was a nice thing to do. So for him to wake up was a bit of a drag, but now he was given the chance to solve one more fear, even if just for a little bit. It seemed that day 4 started off a little bit differently. This time, he was up high on a Helicopter. Heights, it was just way too easy to guess. Now who was the one that they were going to save? A radio could be heard from the pilot. It was panicking, quite the amount of sound being made. The scary thing about this though was the fact that there was no pilot though to drive it. In a few minutes, this thing will go down if it were not on auto pilot. Once it did that, it would crash. Even on auto pilot, it would begin to lose gas. Once it runs out of gas, the plunge towards the ground would be taken. Such an awful ending that would have. The goal first was to get out of the pilot area and get out of here. Maybe his client would be ready to jump as well. The alarms would then begin to go off, even though Elyx was able to figure out that this sort of thing was not even supposed to happen in the first place. And who was going to be warned if the pilot were not there? However, the boy would stand corrected as he would then hear a few clicks from the background. They were causing it to rock, and it seemed that the boy would have to investigate that first. Looking out of the glass window, he would see a metal bullet be blocked by the glass, which was now shattered. It seemed this was an attack on the helicopter, since this was happening for quite a while. Unfortunately, he did not know if he could stop the machine. In fact, he did know that he would not be able to stop it. The step out of here is to bail out and defend him and his client from the bullets.

Exiting the door, he would then see a man ready to dive out. His gear looked ready, a backpack on his back that probably had a parachute in it. The bullets flying past him caused his eyes to dilate quickly. Such an awful scene, he did not want to get shot. He probably wanted to get to the ground. There was something that he had in his right hand. Looking closer as it, he would see a little girl on the picture. Taking a stab at it, she was only a 7 or 8 year old girl. No mother in the photo, maybe this girl was the father. And here he was, about to die. So that was his fear, losing himself or his daughter. She probably meant everything to him. If the nightmare master came and tried to have his way, this man probably would die in the end of the dream. Such a cruel fate, that girl must have meant everything to the father if the whole nightmare was going to revolve around her. It was up to Elyx to have him land safely, now he knew the problem, now he was going to have to find a solution. How to block all of those bullets and have the man land onto the ground safely.

They were now diving down, all right, this was going to be quite the ride down. The bullets were raining, the both of them looking downwards in a the diving position so that their bodies would be hard to hit before they would then feel the bullets becoming more accurate. He could not let that happen, pulling out his sword, he would then be prepared to ward off the bullets from the both of them. Spinning his body like a bullet, he would speed himself up before he would see the projectiles coming, and with his arm speed, he would spin the blade quickly to send all of the metal bullets away from the both of them. They were still diving down, and the bullets were still raining. They were getting slower and slower though, they could only have a limited amount of bullets before the supplies would completely run out. Once they did, that was how the both of them would win. From there, the worst of the bullets would come. A final attack to send them out. The man was screaming, Elyx squinted his eyes in a way that would show that he was ready for them. they were not going to touch him or his clients. Blade extended, he would then use his signature spell to summon two blades to his side, one on his left side and one on his right side. One of light, and one of darkness. The both of them plus his own blade will not only increase his speed, but will block way more bullets since there were two more branches. And finally, they would all spin insanely fast against the bullets, the metals constantly clicking. Elyx too would be struggling as his right arm moved at such an insane speed. But eventually, after a whole minute, and counting, the bullets finally stopped. The helicopter would crash, and the both of them would land at the shelters. Success...

We made it sir, now quickly go in so they can deliver you out of this terrible area! Go see your daughter! The boy would exclaim before they would go over towards the shelter, and from there, the job was done. This man can see his daughter again without regret. This man had to be fighting for his military, and this might be the day he would have to do this again. He will gain the bravery to actually jump from the previous scene of them being in the helicopter. Hopefully, even if this was a dream, the man would be able to remember the words that Elyx had given to the man. Once that was done, he would then begin to feel his vision blur once again. This was his fourth day after all, that was 20% of the task done. 4 days without him, would Black Rose even think of it? Even if they did, would it be in a good way? Or would the celebrate? If they were, they had a whole 16 more days without him before he would return to them. From there, he would feel himself fall onto his knees once again, then he would flop to the side once again. It was over, the boy would then smile as he fell to sleep. Off to the next dream for him. Day 4.

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:14 pm

There was one fear that was somewhat oddly universal. Some have it worse than others, but there was not much doubt when one says that they get a little bit freaked when they see a spider at first. Then they would calm down and say something casual like "Oh, just a spider." The fact that an 8 legged bug is crawling around your house is unusual, and that is why we jump a little bit in the first place. The human mind is not used to things that they do not see often, and the first reaction for seeing something new so suddenly is to jump. However, some people actually fear those things, and their mind tends to make up some insane theories. Going back to the spider example, the spider can shoot web and it traps it's prey. So things like getting stuck in a cobweb would definitely strike some shock into one if not just completely stab through them. That is why sometimes spiders are a common fear. Despite being caught or being crawled on by one of these creatures have the lowest of low chances, people still think the worst of what could happen and magnify on it. That is why he would end up in the next dream that he did. This was the fifth dream, so this would be the fifth day. Once this is done, 25% of the dreams will be completed. Despite this only being his fifth run at this, he felt like he had been doing this ever since he was a kid. That was because solving problems was just something that he always did, not for a price either. It was just in him to do good, which was why he even proved himself to be worthy for a spot among the Wizard Saints. Alas, he was a neutral mage though, and thus, was not allowed to go into the field yet. Yet, being the key word.

From there, the boy would then look around from left, right, and left again as his body laid on the... Ground? No, it felt like his body was balancing on a string. Wait, no, strings Honey sort of texture would keep his limbs held against the strings, give him barely enough space to move. If he made a grand effort, maybe he could get his sword. However, the honey sort of substance felt like it could rip off his arm if he made such an attempt. So instead of that, he would just then leave himself as his eyes would then open. And then he remembered what he was thinking about, and this dream was definitely close to that. Wait, no, it was exactly like that. The strings were webs, the honey was... All right, admittedly, he did not know. There was no spider, but it seemed like Elyx was caught to be prey for a meal soon. There had to be some sort of escape. Despite this though, he could hear a voice in his head again, a man screaming. Attempting to turn his head to the side as much as he could, his light brown eyes would meet to see another man there as well. His hair was almost snow white, and it looked like he was in quite the panic as well. With all that stress, he might end up greying up pretty quickly. It seemed this was his client, and spiders was his fear... They were both trapped, and the spider will arrive soon if they do not escape.

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:14 pm

Sir! My name is Elyx Reiaki! I need you to calm down, I will get you out of this trap! Just remain calm and do as I say, all right! Elyx would exclaim the command, not really caring for the answer to come after that. The both of them needed to get out of here, one because he needed to get his fear, and the other because he wanted to live through all of the twenty dreams. However, his arms were not able to move from their current position, his whole body rather since all of his weight pressed against the sticky substance of the web. Seems like a spider had it cut of for them once a meal had been caught, if he was unable to get out of it, any fly that comes by would be no luckier. Struggling was not going to get them anywhere, but this was a great chance for him to use his Caster magic. If he were still a Lerale mage, he would be dead by now. But here he was, now all he had to do was reach for his sword. His arm was high though. Maybe if they could use enough force... One way that could work was bouncing. It might startle the man a little bit, but it was either having him freak out a little bit, or the both of them going down together. Jolting his body upwards, he would cause the strings of the web to move a little bit. In rhythm, he would move with the web, and not waste any energy by trying to go against it. It was a difficult situation by himself though, and in the end, he did not get a happy result. Instead, he just ended up using a lot more energy than he needed to, and would grow tired after sweating a bit. Turning his head as far to the side he could, he would need the man to get over his fear of Spiders and to face off against the web. In doing so, the both of them would be set free. Hopefully he would be willing to listen to him, and not just scream and panic. That would only bring the spider closer to them anyways.

Sir! I'm going to need you to help me with this! I will yell for us to bounce, force your body in the direction of the web. We will be moving up first, then from there, follow my movements. We are going to be moving in 3, 2, 1, bounce! He would exclaim, hoping that the man had listened to the boy. And fortunately, in a panic and a desperate attempt to escape from the web, he would move his body up and down to match with Elyxs movement. They were not perfect, but it was enough force for them to be bouncing. And eventually, when he pulled hard on his arm, it got off. Now was his chance! The boy would then push his hand on the handle of the blade. In such an awkward position, it took a lot of strength for him to pull out the blade, especially while he was trying to avoid getting the hand stuck on the web. This was going to be a rough ride, but eventually, after fighting against the odds, Master Iris finally pulled itself free from the grips of the web. Success! Now all the boy would have to do was cut the web, right? But there was one thing that the man feared. Spiders, not webs. So they had a little bit more work to do before they can call it a night. They had best be ready.

His right hand would swing onto the web as he then cut the web on this left arm with the blade. Then he would slice downwards onto his right side, letting his right leg go. His weight would cause the rest of the web to give in and let him go. Now it was time to free the man. Once again, he would hold his blade upwards and slice it down onto the web, the right side of the mans body went first, and his body would then force its way through the web with a crash to the tree branch at the end of it. He was free to walk, Elyx was happy to have movement once again. About time as well, if it were not for the dreamer, he would have been stuck and forced to take too many bites from the spider, eventually bleeding out. Those bites stack up, and though he had a lot of resistance, the spider was not going to be as forgiving, and it will keep having its meal before it either kills Elyx and eats him whole, or gets full and leave him there to bleed out. Both thoughts were cold, and fortunately for him, neither of them were going to be a reality. Look over to the man, he would then walk over to his client before bending down. Then he would pick up the man on the ground before lifting him up onto his feet, brushing him off like a servant, then would put a smile on his face as he placed his hands on his hips and closes his eyes, a smile on his face like he was done with his masterpiece. All of a sudden, a rumbling on the tree ground that had been abrupt, almost causing the client to fall off. Elyx quickly held him by the arm to keep him from doing just that. Just with barely any strength as well, he did not want to rip his clients arm off.

From there, he would see a spider above the broken web, and the man would scream before trying to run away. However, Elyx gave him a jerk to pull him back towards him. Then he would hand Master Iris towards the man. Sir, you need to beat this fear of yours. So you are going to slay the spider. Just trust me and do as I say, and I can guarantee that nothing bad will happen to you. He would say before placing the Master Iris in the mans grip. He held it up and looked at it with a scared facial expression, then he looked upwards before looking at Elyx. A small gulp would occur once time, then he would nod his head with fear before pointing the blade at the spider, his stance straight. His body was turned, the right side where the blade was, located towards where the spider was standing. And just like that, he would then look with his eyes straight, confident in Elyx's abilities and combat knowledge, and that if he followed the boys command, the spider will be slain. The spider roared loudly at the both of them, in this dream, the final battle was about to begin. A man, and his fear, ready to face off. Once can't face their fear alone, they need help, which is what Elyx was there to do.

It was time to fight, Elyx would then give his first command. All right! Jump at is and aim for the nose! Upward slice if you can! He would exclaim. The man would jump upwards, but the blade was held behind his back instead of doing of what the boy had ordered. The slice was hit on the hit, but the spider would counter with an upwards slice. The blade was sharp, but with average strength, not enough to cause a knockout, not even a daze. Elyx behind the wheel could have done that, but would have avoided it. The man fell on his back, opening his eyes in fear, but the boy had to give him a reminder. Do what I recommend soldier! Get up quickly, it will charge at you and trample you if you let it! Then run at it! The boy would exclaim once again, placing both of his hands in a curved formation over his mouth, making it sort of like a little sound amplifier in the process. The man struggled to get up, and the spider was getting anxious. It seemed he was going to need a little bit of help, but despite how much the boy wanted to help this man get over this task, it was getting rid of the fear that will do the trick. The man got up just in time, and now a snarl was on his face as his hair covered his eyes completely. With a rush in his body, the man would charge once again with the blade, now it was time for the next command. Perfect speed! It has no space to move. Get under it and slice it from the bottom! He would command. The bottom would be the soft stomach, and if the stomach was hit at this point, the spider would lose balance. With such a thin branch, it would probably fall off of the edge and down to the ground.

The man did it in quite the spectacular fashion. The spider raised one leg and tried to bat him out of the way, which Elyx did not see coming at this angle. However, the man was able to see that clearly, and the blade would swing to the side where the leg was coming for impact, blocking the attack. Not only that though, without hesitation, he did not even duck under, but slide under the spider before slicing upwards at the stomach. The beast roared loudly as it was beginning to lose it's balance. Once that was done, it would then fall off of the thin branch. Its roar was fading away as more distance was being made between the two of them and the spider until eventually, a thud could be heard at the bottom. Success, the man was able to face his fear. And not just face it, but defeat it. Small spiders should not be a problem for him in the real world. But why would that be a fear worthy of being marked down by the master of the nightmares? The answer to that did not matter now. It was time to sleep, Elyx felt his vision blurring, now was the time for him to drop. He fell on his knees, and this time fell off the branch, but his body would then disappear before it would hit the ground. He dropped. Day 5.

The next scene would reveal to him day 6, a little bit more than a quarter of the people done. The connection between all of them made no sense to him yet. Izayuki was one that he could look into easily, she lived with him after all. The rest however were complete strangers to him though. Everything looked blue around him, and he could have sworn that he had heard the sound of water around his body. The lower half of his body would be covered, so that the water would be below his waist. His light brown eyes opened up quickly at this sight, this is not the position that he wanted to be in. Looking upwards, there was a door located at the top. Or a hatch rather. The boy would pull on it quickly as the water rose, and just like that, he had found the exit of the little box that he was in. Putting the curves of his fingers on the edge of the roof, he would then pull himself up from the water and out into a weird white room. The hatch would close on its own before suddenly dissolving into nothing, never to be seen. The water on his pants would suddenly dry up as well. However, he did notice a steel set of bars located a little bit towards the left side, so he would pace over there gently to investigate what exactly what going on there. Once he had done that, he would notice a person as the bottom, and they were screaming. It was a lady inside of the box sort of room that he was in. This time, the bars were made of steel so she was unable to get out of there. So that was how it worked. If Elyx learned how to get through the steel bars, he would have been able to help the lady. That was why his escape was so easy. Now he had to save the lady from drowning and beat the water. It seems that was how one was supposed to get over drowning? The boy would sigh, remembering the times he hated water before his necklace. That was such a shame, such a damn shame indeed.

He would look for some sort of handle that he would have pulled on, but there was nothing but 4 steel bars holding in a caged formation. The nails were bolted tightly, but maybe he could break them with enough force. Wait, enough force! Elyx could cut through steel like it was nobody's business. But just as he thought that, two seconds later, the requirement to do that was to kill the lady. The blade had too much range and would end with most likely, an explosion. Now he was unable to be reckless with his actions like he had planned before. But what would one be able to do if they can not use sheer force? Was this designed to be impossible? If so, the nightmare king played him well, way too well. The boy would have to work his way through the game and come up with a solution before the water gets too high. The lady screaming did not help him think, it just made him panic a little bit more for each second that he heard it. This stress, this problem, this was starting to become his own nightmare, and maybe using Deemos Orb would not be a bad idea after all.

Her scream was definitely not the best thing that he would like to hear, as opposed to any scream rather. Sadly though, they all did affect him in different ways. For example, hearing a baby screaming and crying was enough to make him go berserk, wanting to beat down the source of that pain. A grown adult made him panic and want to help them before finding the culprit. Elyx was one with feelings now, and they were as natural as any others. He full well knew that the mentality that he has was normal, but for that mentality to be common among everyone was sort of messed up. That was not something he could explain though, it was just as it is. Maybe it was because a baby is purely innocent, while an adult who had grown up is full of sin. No, that would apply to everyone then. Then why did he feel the way he did was a mystery, all he knew was that everyone applied it in the same way. He would look down to see the water as her kneecaps. Seems she has started already, and her panic was not helping. Slamming against the boxes, trying to clog up the hole where was coming from. It was a smart plan, but it was not possible due to the holes giant size. It was just enough for someone to sit on, but then her clothing would absorb it. Once it did, the water would still release anyways. Besides, sitting down would only bring her closer to her death, which is the exact opposite result that both he and her would like to avoid. The steel was rough, but maybe there was something in the white room that he could use to cut through the steel.

Looking around the room quickly, with a quick scan, he was unable to see anything. He'd look around carefully this time, and nothing would appear to show up. From here, he would then look back down at her. Was there something in her box that could be used? Miss! I need you to tell me if there is some sort of item that can be used to break the steel! He would exclaim. The lady was shivering as she looked around in a panicked sort of way. The water was now at her thighs. Legs moving frantically, looking for an item to feel with her legs. After a few seconds, she would shake her head violently, now even more worried. Seems she noticed that he was relying on that item, and the fact that he did not have it worried her even more. Being his client, he would have to reassure her that he had it all under control, and that he would be able to get her out of this trap. All right then! Just checking! I will you out quickly, just remain calm and do not do anything that would waste breath or energy! You need to keep breathing! He would exclaim to her, and in response, he got the nod of the head. Seems she was able to cool down long enough to reply, but there was still fear in her eyes. Rightfully so, because Elyx did not know what to do next. How do you break steel without breaking the client?

Looking around the white room was like trying to complete a jigsaw puzzle with a missing piece. There was nothing to find, and nothing to replace it with. What was worse? The feeling the the end of lack of completion? The human mind wants to finish all sorts of things. For example, if Elyx set the volume of a music player to 19, out of instinct, he might place it to 20. To him, it makes no difference in the volume anyways, but it felt like the right thing to do. In his mind, the volume set had been complete. The jigsaw puzzle was missing a piece here as well, when one piece is missing, there is the urge to finish it. Elyx was looking around, despite it seemingly be hopeless to locate the final piece of the puzzle. The idea he previously had in mind was opening the latch that he had left behind. It would reinforce the steel, and then the boy could slice through the steel and get her out of there. But it did dissolve away, correct? However, despite this being the case, there was no evidence that it actually did go missing from the scene. It merely went missing form sight, and the eyes can deceive the person of what reality is. That is why the human had five senses, and with common sense that is surprisingly not so common, they can mix the uses all the senses in order to gather the data needed. So he would need to do was use his other senses. Common sense would also require him to use past experiences, such as detection. He did live in a guild filled with Bounty Hunters, tracking things down would be the best idea. What he normally did when he wanted to hunt down a target was get the targets information. Doing recon back in the box would have done him some good, but he was too busy thinking about escaping. Besides, how was he supposed to know someone else would be in a different box, about to drown, and had a different barrier than he did?

Well, based on what he did know, he was around the middle of the room. Facing East when he first woke up, and exited facing west. From the west point of view, the wall was closer to him. So he would turn his body to the west. From there, he would then remember that the walls were a bit different, he was a bit more to the left than he was to the right. However, he was unable to tell how far to the left he was, so he would merely have to take gentle steps and hoped that he had done the best. Bring it back now, take a few steps until I will remember. He would say to himself before he stepped once. Nothing familiar yet. A second step. A third one, a fourth one. The fifth one had a weird noise, a little click until the white floor. Pulling his blade out, he would slice down to see the floor was as easy to cut as paper. And there it was, the hatch that lead to his own box. It was completely filled up by now, if he were there, he would have drowned. Fortunately for him though, he was up here. Now all he had to do was tear off the hatch and place it on the steel bars that were holding the lady in the water. Once that he been done, he could pull her out and save her from such an awful experience.
