All right, there it was. Placing his blade back, both of his hands would then be available to use once again. His knees would then bend down as he would then place both of his hands around the edges of the hatch. It took a bit more than minimal strength, but he was able to rip off the door before a smile on his face would emit from his lips. Success, now all he would have to do was have the lady hold it. Did she have enough faith though in him? Would she be able to forget her fear as it was trying to kill her, just so she can escape in the end? That would require her to stand still, that was all. It sounded like an easy task, but like he used to be, she was scared of water. Of drowning, and he knew exactly what she was going through. She needed someone to control her from being too scared and panic. That was his role, that was the reason why he was even here in the first place. Once he got her out, the night would be cleared, a little bit more than a quarter of the job would be done. Fortunately for him, he knew exactly the problem and how to calm her down. Ignite had done it with him so many times, and Izayuki was the one who was able to relieve his fear completely. For once, she was the teacher, and he was the student. This was based on a very important subject as well, and now, he was relieved. Maybe if he could get this woman to send a request to Black Rose to teach her how to swim and avoid the fear of water, he can have Ignite be the first one to claim it.

He would place the hatch through the spaces of the steel bars before it would fall onto the lady, into her arms. The water was at her chest, her screams louder and louder in his head. Just hearing them for too long might make him go insane. Keeping his calm though, he would give his order to the lady. Miss! I need you to hold it up! I am going to destroy the bars and pull up up from there. Hold it firmly! Don't be afraid of the water, it will not hurt you while I am here! I am there, and will keep the water from hurting you. I will protect you! He would exclaim, the words shooting into the lady's ears. Holding up the hatch, she would be ready for the impact to be made. Elyx pulled out his blade, ready to cut into the steel. The blade would go down, and upon impact, the whole room would rumble due to the impact. The hatch and the steel would be cut through, and the lady was safe. The water at her neck, she let go before Elyx would grip her right hand. With a gentle pull, he would bring her out of the water. A nightmare it was, Elyx was able to relate to it. But now he was done with that fear, it no longer haunts him because he had support. Now it was his turn to give her the support she needed, and get rid of her own fear. He would drop once again, falling to the side, everything blurring once again. Day 6.

The next dream was a true nightmare for him to endure. In this test, he was going to have to test his own endurance of blood as well as the client. Elyx has seen a lot of blood, in fact, he has see bloodbaths. However, he had been very uncomfortable with this, but he full well knew what it was. In some military training sites, they would do this. It was the blood room training, and it was a life or death situation. His body felt like it was in thick water, but that water smelled like awful rotting flesh. There was no mistake about it, this client had a fear of blood. A military person as well, this was going to be a hell for them to deal with, because they fear that this could be their reality. The gist of this was basically, the unlucky one who was chosen would be woken up in the middle of the night would end up being thrown into the blood room, where they would be surrounded by nothing but think blood and decomposing organs, normally these items provided... But a slaughterhouse. Talk about insane, but that was not the point. The goal was simple, but not easy. They just had to escape the room, but they would not be given too much time. Somewhere in an area extending off of the room would be an attack dog. If it were not obvious yet, that dog would be on pursuit to find the soldier and add their blood to the current pool that they were already in. A solution to escaping was trying to climb up the brain splattered steps, possibly slipping in the process, and they would lose back then for obvious reasons. Blood was a common factor in war, and the way some special military groups see it, if they were able to survive this hellish chamber, they were immune to the fear of blood. And considering the fact that not even a pool of blood, decomposed organs and dead bodies were there... They were probably right on the money with that theory.

These nightmares were becoming worse and worse, and Elyx could feel the sticky blood trying to hold him there. On the side would be a man, he was just thrown in by his officers, and now here he was, going through the trial as well. Many people were scared of blood, they would have to get out of there fast. To survive such a thing would be easy. He could carry the man up, but would that help with his fear of blood? Probably actually, and he would have the right to say that he had survived such an event. That sounded like a plan. However, the man was not surfacing. Damn it! How the hell was he still asleep!? The first goal was to get the man to surface before he drowned in blood, possibly one of the worst ways to die. By the time his subconscious would kick in, he might be too far down to reach anymore. It was going to be a sad day if Elyx let that happen, his task would have failed. He had about 30 seconds to get the man to surface, or the whole job was done for... Blood, it was such a cruel yet common concept. This was not the solution though, this was insane.

This one would require the senses of his Swordsmanship, otherwise this would have been a bust. It gave him the sensory of others. Seeing that he can not open his eyes in the blood for hopefully reasons that involve common sense, the boy would have to rely on the ability in order to find the man. He would take a gasp of the thick and almost choking air before closing his mouth quickly, then placing his head under the blood. Swimming in blood was nothing like swimming in the water. The liquid is holding you in, and there would be an organ every once in a while that would startle you whenever you bump into one. Such a scene should not be endured, yet it still was being endured anyways. Finally, he felt something that did not feel like an organ, and instantly, he would grip it with his right hand. Perfect! A hand! The boy would then pull up from the blood pool before the both of them reached surface, and they would both gasp as they had reached the top of the blood. Success, the man was able to fight back against the true terror of this task. Eyes wide open, he would look to Elyx with panic. The boy in the meantime looked back to the man. If you want to live, follow me! I will get you out of here sir! The boy would exclaim before treading through the thick liquid, his arms were shaking admittedly, but this was nothing that he could not handle. The man would hesitantly follow him before they would reach a wall. They were in a pit after all, the room being at the bottom. They only had to climb up, that was the task.

Sir! We are going to have to climb up! Remember what you learned in training! Do not be afraid, have faith, I will be there to make sure you live in the end! Elyx would exclaim before placing his hand on the first rough edge on the wall. It was slippery for sure, but his feet were locked with quite an amount of strength, so he would not be the one to fall. The man would then try to climb up. They were scaling up the wall as quickly as they could, hanging for dear life. They had to clear this challenge, and without falling back in. If they did, if the dog was out there, it knows where they prey would be located. Once the dog was loose... Did it come out yet? If not, they were able to afford one mistake, but just one only. The boy would look down at the man, the fear in his movement was not too good. At this rate, he might end up slipping into the pool again. The oxygen was lacking, and suddenly, not without a slip or anything, the man fell back into the pool of blood. Damn it! Did he pass out!? The boy would exclaim before he looked around. No dog yet. It seemed like they were lucky, Elyx would jump down. He needed to man to get up, it seemed blood was not his strong suit. And then it happened... There was a growl before heavy barking... It was here... The dog was ready for its meal…

Damn! The dog was here! It was going to find them in the blood due to the splash. Elyx pulled him from the blood, his eyes were open and the blood spilling from the mans mouth as he then coughed. This experience was becoming a nightmare that could end them both if they did not get out now. The boy would place out his blade, planning to fight against the dog. Start climbing up the wall soldier! I'll protect you and kill this beast! The boy would order, and the man would not waste a single moment as he then would begin to climb up the steps. Such an easy way to escape, having someone protect you. But the boy was no longer a D ranked mage, he had to get used to not being protected by anyone else except for those who are above him. That was reality, and he could accept that. The soldier was a few meters high, nothing that the dog was able to jump. Even if it could, it would have to get past a guard. There was a reason why he was the Guild Ace of Leaves in Black Rose, a guild designed for bounty hunters. Losing this fight would be an embarrassment not only to himself, but his guild. Though no one would ever know that he had done it because... Well, this was a dream, he was still missing in Black Rose and needed to return. This was a 100 Year job that he wanted to complete in a maximum of 21 days. He was only S rank as well, this was something he wanted to do. To prove his worth and be able to walk proudly when he returns. Maybe then he would be acknowledge positively.

And so the fight would begin, the dog leaped at Elyx with his claws extended. The boy would slice upwards at it's stomach, instantly causing it to flip before hitting the blood pool. Taking a quick moment to look up, the main was a quarter way there. The fight was still on, but the boy knew that at least his fighting efforts were not being put in vain. The dog was up once again as it charged. This time, a right hook to the hip would take place. The boy stepped to the side, but not as fast as he had expected, and he almost fell. The dog jumped again and the both of them were under the blood. They struggled in the blood pool under the boy got the upper hand, despite having his eyes closed. Quickly, he would slam the dog on the ground by the scruff one time. Two times, three times, and the fourth one did it under the dog gave out a breath, the bubbles of oxygen fighting through the blood. The dog was down and out, the boy had knocked all of the breath from it. It was time to surface and catch up with the soldier, who should be at the top at the rate he was going. So much blood... And now Elyx did not even get phased by it... This was a phase that helped him as well. Now he understood why it was done, though it should have not been done in this way, it certainly was a successful method.

Time to scale the walls. The boy would walk through the pool of blood easily, not as easily as actually walking. It would feel heavier than him in a pool. But with a bit more strength, it seemed more like he was normally walking without much of a problem. Elyx loved his new found physical power, not many things can be a problem for him anymore. The part of it was, he was still able to improve. Once he hit H rank, if he were to play his cards right, physics were not even a thing anymore. He'd be a force to reckon with. Starting from the beginning of the ladder, he would have a story to tell as a few of the reclusive few mages who climbed his way towards the top. This was going to be an amazing time, and all of this hard word that he put behind it will pay off. Ten months of work from D rank to S rank. And about a month or two more and he would have pulled it off. The final goal, success. From there, he can wipe out Shadelle and have it sink to the bottom of the ocean. Then, well, he can live a normal life that an H rank mage can. Who knows, maybe he might start partying for once instead of going on jobs so much, maybe get a little crazy. Heck, his friends always tried to get him to be a flirt, regardless if he had a girlfriend or not. They believed it was the best was to get the ladies, and in his opinion, that was a load of crap. But again, that was just his opinion. For the time being though, he would need to continue climbing up that ladder. Most of it had been cleared. Then he would reach the wall, it was filled with blood. The air was growing thicker, the oxygen was being replaced by Carbon Dioxide. Dioxide may have been two oxygens, but that was the difference between water and Hydrogen Peroxide. The boy would have to get out of their soon, and so, he would then begin his climb.

From there, a smile would be on his face as he then began the climb, confident in his abilities. The first step was easy. The left leg would then help back him up as it then lifted onto the ledge, getting even higher with that one. At this rate, he would only be at the top with a minute or two. But he decided to take things a bit further. Tilting his body towards the side a little bit, he would then look over to the wall and click the blade against it before it jammed against the stone. From there, he would then be able to hang his weight there. He would do that before pulling himself up when the time demanded it, launching himself higher up before jamming the blade against the stone. This was a nice acrobatic with only one blade and one wall. Finally, he would reach the top, and there he would meet the man. The both of them had done it, they were officially done. And neither of them ended up having to fear blood. Now it seems like a common element, which it was when one thought about it. But now seeing it was not a problem, and things that required blood were not going to be hard to deal with. But... He would not have much time here anymore, because once again, the task had been done, it was time for him to drop onto the ground, and begin his sleep. Day 7, Week 1.

The next dream was not a dangerous or panic inducing as the last two had been, but it was still pretty dangerous. Waking up was quite the adventure, he would see himself waking up with a needle wall above him. Or needle ceiling rather. Placing his hands against the floor, he would push himself up onto his feet. Something fell out from his chest and gently swayed onto the ground, a small slip of paper. As it landed on the ground, he would bend down to notice that someone was in front of him, awake and staring at him quite blankly. Seemingly blankly as well, it seemed he was going to have to talk to this person. Chances are, this was most likely his client right here. Hello there! I'm here to get you through your fear! He would call out to the girl. She was a teenage girl. What was her fear? The boy would pick up the slip of paper before scanning his light brown eyes from left to right, then left again as he moved the iris' down the slip. It read "Escape the Needles! Run through the maze before the needles fall on you and crush you. Good luck, you will most certain need it." He would stop reading before his eyes would then shoot up, it was turning insane as the writing was screwing up. "Now... yOU mUSt DIE DIE DIE!" And from there, nothing left would be written. Was there something after the teenage girl? Wait, no, it was the spikes that would kill them. The needles were beginning to lower as the steam sound would release. Looking from the left to the right side, he would notice that the walls were oddly placed. They were like rats in a maze. They had to bail out of here, the sooner, the better. being a Bounty Hunter, it was his mission to be able to locate something that he needed whenever he needed it. In this case, that would be the exit. So he would step towards the girl, who was now intimidated by him instead of believing him. Being a teenage girl, he would have to use her natural instincts to convince her to come with him.

I am your Guardian in White clothed armor. I will get you out of here. Hold onto my hand, I will get you out of here. He would say with a smile before placing his right palm outwards. This was leading her on, using his own looks to convince her to come with him. For one thing, this was to make sure that she lived in the end, so this was a good form of manipulation, despite how often it is looked down upon. Second, this was a dream! It was like he was not even real! For all they knew, this could just all be some sort of illusion. Despite how real it felt, the boy knew that this world was a world that was made from someones dream. The actual human body can not be in the dreams, right? Then again, the mind can, and if it were done in the case like Elyx's, that would result in certain death. The girl would slowly place her hand out before taking it, a gentle palm being a lady and all. It was time to get her out and him both out of this nightmare. There should be some traps to expect. Can you run? He would ask her, before she would then gently nod her head. The grip on her palm being firm now, he would then run alongside her towards one of the directions of the maze. With his left hand, Master Iris would be held.

And so the first trap would come along, a dead end with an arrow shot from the wall. Or what was shot like an arrow, but it was a needle. The boy would force the both of them to the ground, the girl screaming and almost crying when the needle flew by. It seemed that she was scared of needles, a somewhat scary item when used incorrectly. Then again, normal people who are not mages probably did not have another real to fear, so he could give her a by for that one. To a mage who did not think of that possibility, that probably was a lame reason. Elyx knew better though, and liked to look through both points of view before a final decision can be made. The both of them dodged that bullet. The ceiling on the maze was still going down though, so he would pick the both of them up. To help get the leading on act going, he would circle around her quickly while brushing off her clothing, gently so that neither of them would have anything to regret. Gaining trust was working already, he was able to grab her hand with his left hand without any resistance. Trusting people with normal people was easy, with mages, trust comes a lot harder. But when it does, it is something that many others should value. Even if it were a D rank mage, one day, that D rank mage will become an H ranked one. With that, the both of them would then begin to run away once again. They would have to choose between two more paths, one to the left and one to the right. Without taking a moment to think, he would choose to go to the left path. And fortunately for the both of them, neither of them were caught at a dead end. In fact, they seemed to be doing well! Until he senses kicked in, and he would quickly put them both to an abrupt stop.

The floor in front of them quickly lifted up and slammed against the needles. An instant death if they had taken a few steps further. The girls eyes shot up wide before looking to Elyx, whose facial expression was neutral when looking at the needles. These traps were predictable and easy to stop. However, he decided to play it off as if it were some sort of big deal. That was pretty cool actually. Seems like the one who set this up did not want us to leave, stay close to me though, and I'll make sure you get out of here without a single scratch. He would explain before the both of them would continue running. In the process though, when they went backwards, a sudden wall would be hit. It was invisible, or so it seemed. A data wall, there was some coding on it. The girl was able to place her hand through it though. That was understandable, this dream was designed for her. The king of the nightmares finally found out what Elyx was trying to do and will stop him at all costs. There was a switch on the other side though, and all the girl would have to do was go through. You are going to have to jump to where the switch is. There is a hole, probably with needles at the bottom. I believe in you... And once you hit the switch, I will still get you to the end.

It got her to breathe before she would then look at the not yet triggered ground. The boy would smile, all she had to do was jump. Looking back at him, her facial expression would remain with a bit or emotion, and a small bit of pink would flush on her face. So this was the game that Ignite liked to play. Admittedly, it was actually kind of fun for him to play. He never even knew he had the ability to do this. And to think that he would usually scold her for that sort of behavior, and that he did not approve of it. Now he understood why both she and Iza liked to do it. The boy would smile a gentle one, and then the girl would match his before turning around. One more breath, a huge one. Then she did it, she would take the leap. Her feet left the ground, and then the door would open. Beautiful display shown in her jump, and though she did not quite make it, her fingertips would hang on the edge of the trap. You have this! I believe in you love! Get out of there and I will be there to look for you, just pull yourself up! He would exclaim to her. And what once looked like she was hanging around like dead weight ended up looking like a pure amount of strength. The girl ended up pulling her body up in an easy looking many. Such an amazing display, oh what one would do to get the one that they believe they love. It was what some psychos exist as well, which is why he best be careful around them. Otherwise they would end up hurting him. And then he was reminded of the reason that one should not lead someone else on. The many crazy people that were willing to follow and stalk as well as do some crazy things to other people just for the one who lead them on. Still though, this was just a dream. In the end, the girl would be able to wake up and think "Man... If only that dream were real."

The girl would then hit the switch, the wall no longer being there. Elyx would then jump over to the other side easily before he nodded to her. From there, they both then continued to run. There were a few more traps waiting for them. But they were predictable with his senses. And soon, he would end up dodging them before they would even activate, basically, disarming them with movements. The girl kept on following him now, faithfully following whatever actions that he decided to take. Her trust in him was extremely high now, falling for his trick completely. But due to this, she was dodging the traps, and he would personally prefer to feel guilty than to have the world corrupted by the king of the nightmares, so he would have to do this for now. Again, dreams were illusions that even normal people were able to accept was fake, nothing was real. Elyx's body was not even real, his existence here seemed like it did not exist, though it really did. Now that he thought about it, what WERE they doing with his body while he was gone? If they dare try to do anything extreme with him while he wakes up, they are as good as dead. That was the real life, and taking advantage of him while he was asleep was a no no. Even Iza faces resistance when it was done to him by her

And they finally made it, they were able to get through the maze. The ceiling was not even close to getting to them. The final room that they ended up in was quite the special room... It was actually kind of relaxing. But there was something about this was felt weird actually, was this supposed to be part of the nightmare? Was he supposed to drop here? The girl seemed pretty happy, or did she not get over her fear of needles. No, it was pretty evident that she did. She was acting so casually right now, walking around as she would then go over to the couch there. It was a house, a living room might he add. There was a giant pink plushie there in her hands, she was hugging it tightly in embrace. She would look over to him with expectation in her eyes, so he decided to play along and sit down with her, it was the first time he actually was able to relax without going to sleep. It already felt like such an odd experience. The boy would then look over to her, and she was giggling when he was there. Looking forward, he would then notice a sudden candle that he did not notice on his way to the couch. Weird, but nothing that he could not say was not normal for a dream. Some things just kind of appear and disappear, or maybe they even go by unnoticed as well. The boy would then look over to her, only to not notice her behind him now. How did she do that!? Turn around as he felt her around him, he would then notice her head above his. Quickly placing both of her palms against the sides of his head, she would then lower her head. Oh no, this could not be what he thought it was, could it? this was what he deserved though for leading someone on, he wanted it to happen, the drop was what he wanted the most right now. What else did he need to do!?

From there, it FINALLY happened, his vision was beginning to grow blurry. He was seeing multiple things at once. Body flopping to the side and off of the couch, it seems like they were finally able to get him to drop. Whoever they were at least. What was a drop, and why did it happen? there was no complaints towards it, Elyx could honestly say that. In fact, if anything, they made his life a lot easier. He does not have to waste his time, he would just be put into the next day. That was something that he liked, this job looked like he took forever and put a lot of effort into. In the meantime, he would end up doing things for about 30 minutes before getting 23 and a half hours of sleep a day. Fully energized, no one would like to see him in a healthy state without any work. That was kind of weird, were you not supposed to be happy when someone that helps you is doing well? But instead, they get attacked with things so that way they can match the unhappiness that you feel? The boy had no time to think about it though, he had dodged the incoming kiss to come up, and his body would then disappear from the scene. The girl did not need to do that to him, he relieved her of her fear. He had done just that, and now it was time for him to sleep. Week 2, Day 8.

Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job] - Page 2 Empty Re: Defender of Dreamland [Solo/Job]

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:30 pm

Game on, this was a rather weird fear. But then again, Elyx was able to relate to it in one way. There was a mission that he had to do where he ended up fighting against a machine named Cassie, and he ended up having to beat up what was known as the master hand in order to beat her. Such a beautiful moment, he was now able to summon her wherever. Except for here naturally... Or maybe actually? There was a small chance of it happening, but he might be able to summon her into the dream? He was able to use his magic in the dreams after all, it might not be as difficult as he might make it out to be. Then again, the magic did belong to him, and anything that he spewed out would be emitted from him. So for him to end up in an arena was nothing new. Against a swordsman though, that was quite something though. It was quite a man who wanted to fight. It was sort of like Iza's dream. This was a man who was to be feared. The client was right next time him, trying to wake up the boy. Elyx would wake up just at that moment, hearing the begging in the mans tone as his eyes would shoot wide open. Time to work for another 30 minutes before he can then enjoy the rest of the sleep. His body would roll backwards so that the soles of his feet would then his the ground. Then he would look over towards the man who tried to wake him up. His panicked facial expression as his voice would play in Elyxs mind. It was fast paced, but then he was able to pick up the words after adjusting. He missed a little bit of the details, but that was his clients fault for being so damn fast with speaking. Normal English went way slower, even in a panicked state. The man spoke of the Swordsman in front of him, and it turned out, there was a bounty on his clients life. Even if the boy could relieve the fear of whoever the swordsman was, he would do that. Just as long as his temporary state of mind was fearless, which was what he needed. Plus, this would require a good fight as well! That was something that Elyx was able to appreciate, it had been 8 days since he had a great battle, 9 if this were to count.

Placing his blade out of it's sheathe, he would look over to his opponent before walking up to him. The Swordman as his opponent was crouching on the ground, looking at them both. When the boy had reached within range, the swordsman tried to pull out his blade. Elyx however spin his body, right leg held up before placed down onto the handle of the sword, preventing it from being sheathed. My quarrel is not with you, I suggest you avoid pulling out that blade from its sheathe, then leave the scene around us, and you will leave without even so much as a cut. Do I make myself clear? He would ask, the first time he actually had intimidation in his tone. That was not normally the way he went about things, he would normally try to convince them to leave the clients alone before taking a little bit more extreme measures. But that was what this job required, for him to be a little bit more aggressive on the enemies. He'd place his foot down before turn around, walking a little bit, and then it happened. An attack on hindsight.

So the fear here is that the guy was scared of whoever was trying to assassinate him. The irony behind this was the fact that Elyx was a bounty hunter, fighting against another bounty hunter. He always wondered how that would end up. He turned around, a smirk on his face when he saw the attacker coming for him. Instantly, he would unsheathe the blade from where its sheathe before slicing to the side, both blades coming together as one. The swordsman that was fighting him was in clear shock that he was able to be blocked so easily, so quickly, especially since the attack was done from behind. The react made the boy chuckle before pulling the swordsman by the collar with the blade held high to hold to the throat. The swordsman quickly lifted his leg to press against Elyxs stomach, pushing him away before the attempt at holding the sword at the throat was successful. The boy stumbled back a little bit, but then locked his feet onto the ground. It would take a lot more than that to knock him to the ground. Master Iris would take place as he would then use the first ability to reduce the spells cost since it was its primary spell set. Harukis Shadows, and his body would split into four. Now there were four Elyxs to deal with, the enemy swordsman stepped back when he saw them suddenly being four. The thing he did not know was how the damage would then be cut by the number of him to arrive. And ignorance as weakness, now it look likes the swordsman would only be able to step back. The first Elyx would not let him get away, quickly quickstepping behind the opponent and slicing him into the air, the flinch effect activating so the man would not be able to react for a second. A precious second. The second Elyx would then jump into the air and take advantage of the flinch that the opponent is forced to deal with. The second one would slice to the side, left to right. Then quickly slice from right to left. Finally, his blade would be behind his back before slicing downwards with a huge slam. The third one was positioned to catch the opponent before slicing his blade through his blade through the back of the swordsman. This was a dream, and they all knew it. They were unable to actually kill anyone in the real world, so this would not be anything different from killing an imaginary friend as a kid. They all eventually die off when the kid grows up. The fourth Elyx would jump into the air before spinning his body around, the blade then slicing at the chest of his opponent while he was unable to move. The cut was brutal, and they all knew that this battle was done. So they would all pull back away from the enemy, not even touching him anymore with any of their blades. It seemed that this man was able to not worry about the man attacking him. Even if cured temporarily, the fear was still gone for the moment. Now he would have to talk to his client. Recommend Black Rose to protect him, then do just that. Progress for the guild.

This man will not hurt you anymore. If you ever need help with someone coming for you like this, call on Black Rose. We are a guild of Bounty Hunters. Remember my name specifically, it is Elyx Reiaki. He would explain, one of them at least before they would walk over towards the client, all of them smiles on their faces. The man stayed still, his eyes up, as in disbelief. However, the life in his eyes are he would then look around the empty arena. There was some weird background history based on the dream, hopefully he would not have to get rid of a few things in the process of defending the man. One of the Elyx's would extend his hand towards the man in a handshake, and finally the man accepted it after a few seconds of what seemed to be thinking. It ended quickly before the second one would do the same thing. The third one would be next, naturally. And finally, the last of the four boys would shake hands with the client before they would all stand up together in a line. They did not have too much time before they would all return to be one boy again. They all had their friendly smiles on, like they had not just knockout an opponent after their clients life. It seems this task was a much easier one, not as much effort had to be placed in the fight. The swordsman was a normal human, in all honesty, it was not a fair fight from the beginning. Sure, they were swordsman. But one of them was a mage, able to mix in their magic. Then again, what bounty hunter was not aware that they might end up being against mages? This was a dream though, the swordsman that Elyx had faced in this would was probably nothing like the one in the real world. Heck, the man did not even know how his bounty hunter looked like. It was such a shame how he could only feel assurance in a dream... Still though, assurance at all was a bit of relief, a small moment without stress. And that was what he was here to do anyways, the task had been done.

All of the cloned versions of him would then fade away slowly, disappearing and fading away like they were spirits. And soon enough, the second one turned out to be the legit Elyx. Go figure, there was no way of telling them apart. They all acted and reacted the same way. They were all given the same information that the real version of him did, and they had his personality and his mind set. It was expected that they were able to read each other like books, they were exactly the same after all. With a smile on his face, he would then bow formally, eyes closed. This time, his vision was not able to blur since, well, his eyes were closed. Unable to open, he recognized what was happening to him. It was time for him to drop from this moment, he had fun while it lasted though. He had hope that he would be able to protect the man if he called on Black Rose for the job. The boy would check the Guild Hall very often, he wanted to be a guardian. One who sided with good, was that too much to ask for in all honesty? Week 2, Day 9

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:35 pm

There he was, he had finished 9 out of the 20 jobs that he had to do. This was quite a tall feat, and he felt like going home already. This was getting to be a little bit too common of a task now. There were a few things that he missed back at Black Rose. First, Ignite, his pet that he considers one of his best friends. She was always there for him, almost literally as well. Raised by him since her birth and now she is a fully developed well grown woman, one that provide a heck of a lot of power behind her abilities. Her personality served to be a lot like Elyx's back when he was a D ranked mage, a playful young She Phoenix with a lot of energy in her and the ambition to get whatever she wanted without a second thought given about the risks. A little immature at times, but nothing too extreme. There were his teammates, Izayuki and Venir. The two he never would have expected to meet each other when he had first met them. For one thing, this was during a time, when Venir was a little bit... Screw it, she was completely relaxed back then, nothing like she is now. Not that he could complain about it, he personally had a lot of fun with it. Izayuki will always be Izayuki, nothing will change her playful, annoying, arrogant, selfish nature. Nothing will change it, because Elyx will make sure that is the case, though she often gets on his nerves and will do just about anything to get on his bad side, he still enjoyed her company whenever they would play around. Arguing with her helps him get steam off, and just seeing her happy placed a smile on his face as well. She was also his student, despite how many times she denied it. He liked to believe that he was a huge part of the reason why she grew up to be so powerful so quickly.

Given about five minutes to think about this sort of thing before he completely dropped, he would look upon this and smile, knowing that he had something to look forward to when he got towards his home back in Black Rose. So much to be done there, but at least he can say that he had a vacation, a huge one at that. Almost a month where he can say he had been at peace, since most of the day would only consist of nothing but sleep. The rest would be panic inducing problems for him to solve, but they were easy to solve when given hints, or when he used his background knowledge to help him out. But now it was time for him to drop, his body would dissolve into nothing but little particles. Day 9 was complete. Tomorrow was going to be where he is halfway done. Hopefully there would be some sort of event in the middle of this, things like this was kind of getting boring. It was not to gloat, he kind of liked this job. But doing the same thing over and over again was not quite entertaining. He would know, he had been doing some of the same jobs over and over so that he could get enough jewels to help him out. The boy would look over to the nothingness of the world around him one more time before he would finally shut his eyes, getting himself some sleep. Reflection time over, it was time for him to get back to work.

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:36 pm

Day 10, the center of the dreams. After this part of the job had been done, he would be able to rest knowing that he had completed 10 of the 20 dreams that he needed to have done. This dream was an oddly specific one. However, it was not something to not fear though. Especially considering that this was a teenage guy that he was dealing with this time. The scenery that he ended up waking up in was kind of weird. It looked like a school, and he was on the floor of the hallway. That must have been pretty nasty, so waking up would begin with a jolt up when he realized this. The thing was though, there were many students walking through the hallways. So how was he supposed to find his client through the hallways, correct? And how was he supposed to pinpoint the client? It could have been anyone, and Elyx did not have any knowledge on the client since, well, this was the beginning of the dream. Investigating the behavior of many students, he would end up looking over towards a certain group that seemed to be talking with each other. All the others were walking, maybe his client would be there? It was time to find out, he would end up walking towards where the girls were located. A quick count, he was able to count five of the girls conversing with each other. They were typical with their talking, probably speaking of the most useless first world things if he had to guess. Not wanting to listen, he would try to cut through the crowd and get to them. Cutting through the crowd was not to hard, the students that were nice would move out of the way. The ones that tried to be rude tried to shoulder him out of the way, only to end up with a broken shoulder due to Elyxs body defense. Finally, he would get over to them, only for one of them to glare at him before suddenly whispering to the group. Then they would quickly walk away from him, it seems they were not going to be his clients. Just a bunch of spoiled and arrogant girls. Why were they highlighted differently in this dream? Maybe they were a role in the job? Or was the king of the nightmares up to his tricks? After all, he did know that the boy was in the dreams trying to stop him.

Looking around through the hallways, finally, one guy in particular would be there, leaning against the lockers. His face was head down, and his lips moved like he was saying something. Did he have a problem? Investigation time. Walking over to him, he would push a few kids out of the way by accident, but he had no time to slow down. From there, the boy would look over to the guy before leaning his own back against the lockers, then crossing his arms. There was his classic smile on his face when he asked, trying to be friendly with this newcomer. Hey man, is there something the matter? I am here to help you man. Is there something bothering you? Maybe even... Making you afraid? He would ask, trying to get straight to the point.

The boy would look over to the group of girls after he had heard the question, then his face would turn a little bit red when he did, quickly turning his head around as if he had regretted it. Elyx would regret doing that too, they were like the sun. Not because they were hot, because honestly, they were not. But because they were so damn hard to look at. However, that was not the guy was thinking at all, and sadly, the boy once knew what they was like himself. It was time for a long talk with this guy. His fear was not about being killed, hurt, or even beaten. It was rejection, being rejected by one of those girls. He did not know which one, but they all looked like assholes, and they certainly acted like it as well. This guy seemed so innocent though, he could have done much better if he tried. But it was the guy who was supposed to ask the girl out, and not the other way around. All right man, I said I would help you out here, and that is what I am going to do. The first thing is, you seem like a good guy. A quiet one who does not want to get into any trouble. He would explain before looking back to the girls. They were looking back at Elyx before giggling. In return, he would place his right hand up in the air with one finger held up high for them to enjoy. They snarl before they continue talking to each other. Wow, if they were that close, they could end up being in the same Chain Gang? Who knows, maybe when they fight one day, he could come up to them someday before saying to them something like "Man, why do you men have to always argue? Who knows, one day you all might run hell together?"

So I do not know why you end up setting your bars so low. They are not worth your time, so there is no way in hell they could reject you. You are much better than they are, you are way out of their league. He would explain before patting his clients shoulder to give him a bit of confidence. It might have not been much, but it was something at least. The boy would then look back over to the girls before they were then walking away. It was time for his client to make a move, whether it was now or never. A smile would be on Elyxs face, knowing that he could push his client to run over there and ask whichever girl over there he wanted to have as his girlfriend. Watching that would be fun, then hopefully he could not be controlled by her. Even better, maybe he would be able to control one of them to be a much better person. Maybe not physically abuse them to do the trick, but be a good boyfriend and try to have that rub off them. Elyx could only hope, and that was if the guy went over to them right now. A soft push would be given to his client before the boy would speak once again. Your prey is getting away man. You have to catch up to them tiger. Remember what I said, they can not reject you, because you are much better than they are.

The guy would be pushed, a little bit nervous at first, but then he would chase over towards the girls. Lucky guy, he was given a normal chance to ask out a girl. Not in the way that Elyx had done it, in which it was quite... Special in the end. For one thing, everything escalated BEYOND quickly, it was kind of a dream of a memory to remember, it had been quite a while ago. It was funny how things worked out in the end, and he did not regret it at all. Fortunately for the both of them, it was not about the presentation, it was the end result. That rule was given an exception very often, but not in this case! He remembered being quite shy and timid around the ladies, now he was far less scared of that to happen. It was Adrelissa that he had the closest relation to, when he called her his girlfriend and he was her boyfriend. And even then, they did not even do anything near what he thought he could now. A hug was definitely a rare moment, he could remember it being about three or four times, but that was about it. And locking lips to give a kiss was definitely not what they did when they were that young. Admittedly, when he grew older, he did wonder what it was like to feel her lips. Maybe not as good, but it was still a thought that he probably will never answer, not that he minds. Besides, she was long gone now, and it was not like she can come back. Nimpha would not be able to solve that puzzle, if she could, she would have by now. That was what his teacher was for after all, she looked out for him whenever he needed her.

The boy would watch as his client was then conversing with the girls. It was not Elyxs business hear about what they were talking about. It took a bit of time, but he knew that a rejection was WAY quicker than that. Not only that, but they were harsh, and clearly blunt as they are arrogant. They would not feel the least bit of pity though, so it would have been done by now. If they were actually thinking about it, the one who he asked would then be able to say yes. It just had to be that way, what other possible explanation would their be? He would then look over towards the hallway to see no other students. Admittedly, he was a little bit nervous. Despite this being a dream and his client being able to control the results of his own dreams, that was going to be able to save him from rejection. Still though, what if he was not able to control his dream? Then what is he to do? Would his fear only increase? This was not fair at all, the boy had only a 50 50 shot at actually being successful. If he could not do it, then he would be booted out and the job was a failure. There would be no way to recover from rejection when rejected... If only there was another way. But no, basically, he just told the guy to be himself and that he was better than them regardless of the result. Maybe he could have done a little bit more to help the both of them.

After another minute of the waiting, he would then be approached by the guy. Elyx would turn his head to meet eyes with the client, now curious about how it ended up. Well, that was a huge understatement. For his life and for the lives of everyone, this answer mattered the most. It all came down to this moment. The boy would close his eyes and breathe in quickly before slowly breathing out. Then he would reveal his light brown eyes again before asking. Mentally preparing himself, he would then ask the question. Hey man. How did it go? Did you get the girl that you wanted? Elyx would ask with a smile on his face, as much of a smile as he could get at least. But in truth, he was heavily worried. The boy would then watch his clients hand as it entered its owners right pocket. Then he would hold up a small slip of paper before showing it to him, there were seven digits on the pin. Those seven numbers saved the land of Fiore from destruction, those seven numbers saved Elyx from failing everyone, those seven days saved his reputation and credit that he tried so hard to earn. So much relief, so much happiness, Elyx was ready to jump and happily tackle this guy before ruffling his hair. But it was probably a bad idea to do that. After all, he might be on a date, and he would have to prepare himself. The boy would then smile before he would then walk into the hallways. It seemed that his job had been done now. With a smile on his face, he would be taking delicate steps as he had paced through the house. It was a special sort of day, the one that was a lot less stressful, yet had the least chances for failure.

It was time for him to drop, the boy would feel his eyes begin to blur. The world once again becoming dark as he had finished his job. It was a great day for the both of them, he and his client. Now it was over, the halfway point of the job had been done. His body would fall by hitting the ground against his knees, eyes rolling back, then he would fall over to the side slowly and sleepily. When his right arm made contact with the ground completely, he would then shatter into pieces of dream magic, not to be seen for that dream. It was a wonder how all of those worked. For example, who was the one making him drop? The nightmare king or Elyx’s actual client? Maybe his body was supposed to do that? Or maybe the clients are having their dreams to a final note, since they got over their fear, they might wake up at that point. Wait, no, if they did wake up before the task was done, Elyx would be dead. His mind rests in a dream that he is in, and once the dream ends, it deletes itself from existence, becoming nothing more than a mere memory. Now it was time for him to get some sleep. It would not take too long for him to do so, a smile on his face as he realized that he will be getting some peace at least. Another 23 more hours to go. Week 2, day 10.

Post by King Elyx 28th April 2016, 2:39 pm

So he had reached the halfway point. There were a few things that he could learn with this whole experience. One of those things being the fact that many fears out there exist, and have quite the reason to exist as well. The blood one was casual, it was not something that many people would just ignore. But considering the brutality of the training that he and the soldier had just been through, they were no longer scared or even phased by blood. Now it just seemed normal to the boy, he could see it being shed for quite a long while and still not even give any notice to it. Such insanity and cruelty, sure, but what could one do? After being forced to swim in it for a long amount of time while fighting a dog and breathing air that heavily lacked in oxygen, he still survived. Now a sword wound would look like nothing to him now. When he saw someone about to die, he could go in and stop the blood flow instead of freezing there in panic. Some of the military areas had the right idea to be honest, but before this whole job, he could not disagree now. And now that he was able to embrace their logic, he can execute their training to work in his favor. Fortunately for him, he still was very clear on the concept of ethics, and would refuse to let himself become insane because of the dreams. None of this was real after all, but the effects that they had on him most certainly were real. Both positive ones and negative ones. For now though, he was just going to have to deal with the rest of the clients, getting them over their fears. Once that is complete, he can look towards the nightmare king and put him down if needed. Hopefully there would need to be no bloodshed, but Elyx could not guarantee anything, and would not pretend that he did know either.

However, regardless of what he was going to do, that was going to be in the future. The current world that he lived in though was going to be a lot rougher than the previous one. A certain creature to deal with, and for the right reasons as well. In the jungle, there would be many of them as well. No humans to claim territory for miles away, a traveler would be the client for the job. Standing as of right now, this was going to be a tougher client to deal with.. No one can say they are safe until their are out of the jungles. Snakes, quite the deadly creatures. Be unfortunate and you may get bitten, worst case scenario, one might end up getting attacked by one with poison in their fangs. And guess the lucky one was to look over the client with that as their fear? Fortunate for him though, he was going to be dealing with one person, and not searching through the dream and using deduction in order to get the job done. It was time for him to wake up, before the client gets taken out and the dream is already over. Though he did not fear snakes, he did fear about how many of them there would be, and how many would take up their time before the client wakes up.

And so his body would then begin to materialize into the next dream. The man with the fear of snakes. An explorer by the looks of it, Elyx would not have so much trouble. At least, he did not believe an experienced explorer would hold him down. He must know things such as maps and navigation routes. That sort of information was the type that he lacked. Now how to convince the client in the nightmare that he would be okay was a different story. Both of his soles would poke the ground before, a soft earth below them. A pair of light brown eyes would open up as slowly and lightly as his feet hit the ground. The wind blowing against his clothes made him seem a little more angelic when he landed, it was kind of nice to have so much grace in his appearance as opposed to sleeping in a childs bedroom while there was a fight going on downstairs. It placed relief in him to realize that the snakes have not been put out, but there was a little twist for having that part work for him. The man that he was looking for was not in front of him either... Which could serve to be a major problem. If he was already attacked and hit at least one time, the dream would end, and once it did, he would wake up. A game over for not just the fake version of that man, but for all of Fiore and Elyx who is unable to defend himself from dying. It would only make sense that he dies when someone wakes up while a dream was going on, so at all costs, he needed to get to the man and help him get over his fears long enough so that Elyx can drop and escape. It was how this whole system worked, once the Sky Slayer had been dropped, he would be free regardless if his client woke up from the dream or not. Dropping was what advanced him to the next stage. A little bit of thought had been put into it, and he began to wonder why Iza out of all people had been chosen for this job. It placed a smile on his face, being able to save her from the fear that she had of that weird woman. She was his girlfriend after all, it was the least she could do. But why would she be considered one of the 20 most important factors that he had to save from her fear. Well, that probably would help him advance in the future, it shows her in a dream with Elyx able to save her from the woman, and since it was him, she will probably come to him saying all sorts of things about the dream. It was literally him after all in the dream, there was nothing that the tanuki was able to tell him that he did not know. But still, just to hear her speaking of him being in her dream would make it all worth it, and so he planned to listen to her for that moment. That was besides the point though, now he was going to have to take down a few snakes... Once he find the man.

Running through the forest, he would shift his eyes from left to right quickly, trying to find the man as fast as he could. His senses as a slayer would be able to help him gain some ground, but the least intelligent move to do was avoid leaving some marks that would probably lead him back right on track, it was a tough moment for him admittedly however, he wanted to see his client and thought of nothing else. This was his excuse, but the results would be no different with or without an excuse. Fortunately for him, he was a lucky Sky Deity, his senses of magic flow suddenly leading him east, it was definitely that of a human. His legs would travel towards that direction so that he was able to cover more ground. In the process however, he heard the rattle of a snake, it was warning either him or the man. Regardless, if it was him, it was going to receive a good slice with Bound Iris, the sword revealing itself from the sheathe, his teeth clenched as he was ready. But if it attacked the man, how would the man defend himself from the animal? Thus, he needed to act now, before any snakes can get the client. Slicing to the left, he would catch the falling rattlesnake that tried to bite Elyx on the shoulder, taking out its head without any problem. There were more that were ready to avenge its fallen brother, but he was ready for that. He knew that animals never fought one on one, mainly because of their size compared to humans. That was rather smart of them, Iza was an example of it. She could apply herself and become something brilliant if she wanted to, but instead she only seemed to want to do okay things and live a life without responsibility. Such a mentality was something that a normal human would be unable to survive on, Iza was lucky to be a Slayer, because otherwise, she would be down and out instantly because of her immature behavior. Not to mention how bad she would think of this if she saw how Elyx was able to take down the snake by beheading it. Continuing to run, he would see the man, his client, and he looked shaken up. His senses saw the snakes in front of him, it seems like they were about to attack. Both the Sky Slayer and one of the snakes would pounce, Elyx being the first one to get to the man. His client would tumble over, and so would the snake as it missed. The others seemed to have its back however, they would leap at the Sky Slayer to punish him for taking away their prey. They could go die in a hole for all he cared, so he would slice them all out of the way with his speed being much higher than theirs. It would be rather unprofessional to let them roam around, and it would make his life a lot harder. With one slice only, he was able to take them down, and so the battle would end quickly, the man had been saved. More will definitely arrive though, so it was best they get out of there, and quickly.

The hissing of the snakes from behind them were a clear sign that the act that the Sky Slayer had done was not something that they approved of, if they were going to make it out of here alive without being forced to take down the whole forest, the both of them were going to have to make a huge run for it. And with his speed, it might be a little bit hard. Being on the Neutral Grounds meant no magic, which was kind of hard to live on as for the moment. But what was natural to him was still there though, his abilities. Refusing to go down that easily, the core of his body would quickly pace him and make his heart rate increase heavily, his eyes opening up as the new amounts of blood in his body sped him up. And so he would continue to run through the forest, the chase was now on. Decided to take it up to the trees, Elyx would pull the man up by the wrist before jumping onto one of the branches. It was a nice move to start off with, but there were some already living in the trees. Why did this man have to have such an accurate dream again? Regardless, that sort of complaining will earn them nothing but a screaming death, and so he would begin to jump through the trees, the heels being caught up to actually, which was a surprise since the Slayer should be able to outrun them. That was not the case however, so the next big resort would have to occur. He would have to go back to the ground and make some of the snakes fall to their death. So without any effort, he would just drop down, the snakes ungraceful as they fell and many of them were injured, slowing down their speed. It was too perfect, and Elyx was able to escape with the client with a smile on his face, they had reached the end of the forest and found a beach where the sun would set. With that sort of ending, the man should probably not have a fear of snakes, being able to outsmart them would do the trick. They relied on tricks, intellect, the numbers game. But when it comes to actual physical stats, they had nothing. As usual, this client like any other one had no words for him, because in dreams, they were unable to speak to him. Why was beyond anyones imagination, but for 11 days he was able to prove that words was not the only way to communicate with others. It was a successful day, and so his body would jolt back suddenly as he felt himself growing very sleepy all of a sudden. The vision in his eyes would begin to blur, unable to see anything now due to his tiredness. It was a nice ending for the day after the half, and maybe this man does not have to fear things such as camping. All he has to do is either leave the snakes alone, or just be much smarter than them. And so the dream would shatter, showing the man has awakened from it. And now it was time to travel onto the next dream, he wondered what the next fear would be. Day 11.

Dropping was nothing new to him now, and though it was sudden and he never knew exactly when it would happen, he was at least able to ensure that it was something that was on his side. Well then again, how could he confirm that, for all he knew, the king of all dreams might have been able to manipulate his mind to thinking that something like dropping was a good thing. If that were the goal, it certainly succeeded, because he felt like he was able to travel to the other dreams with just dropping on its own. And who would not like to have constant amounts of sleep, forced or not. This was kind of like getting paid to sleep, which he would actually not mind in all honesty. Actually, the job did state that he would obtain a lot of money for it, and the lady who brought him into the land of dreams did show him the jewels before he entered and all so... Whoops, it seems like he is going to get paid for sleeping. This was considered a 100 Year job, but Kakuma would probably just shake her head and laugh it away, which he could honestly not blame her. Oh well, he had to figure that out later. But for now, he was going to have to enter the next dream. The next one would bring him back to the one that he knew was living in Black Rose, little did he know that she has a fear that he probably still has as well. It was Shadelle, and how they were probably going to be sending in reinforcements to get her head. Now, if she had a fear for Shadelle, then there could only be one other person other than the Sky Slayer himself who was scare, and that one would be Adrelissa. Adrelissa Sosayaki was going to be his next client, oh how fun this is going to be, and there was plenty of sarcasm. How can you tell someone to get over something that you yourself are still a little bit shaken up over, with a few bounty hunters placing a bounty on your head for existing, then acting like you should ignore them while they are trying to put a knife into you. How do you avoid all of that? How do you not fear that? Well, she was the second dreamer, so unless he wanted to fail the job and be stuck in the land of dreams forever, he was just going to have to suck it up and face his own fears as well as his friends. Hopefully it would not be anything like the scene back in Shadelle where she was being tortured right in front of his eyes, or he might just kill the ones who were tormenting her. Sure, it would probably save the dream version of her, but how exactly would that get her over her fear? It would give her satisfaction, but then she would probably remember that those men were not the only ones in the tribe that were after her life, and so she would obtain fear once again. Such a shame, he was going to have to do this like any other clients dream, which will be a bit harder in this case.

Adrelissa would be back in her home, her previous one at least, which was the tribe itself. The sky was dark, the sun was black and the sky was red. It seems like a fun party was going to be going on. Elyx would find himself in front of a door, the one that opened up to her house. Did he dare open it? Well if he wanted to find his client, that would probably be the smartest move. So he would try to twist the handle open, only for it to be locked. Of course, then what was he going to do that would allow her to open the door for him? Does he call out for her and tell her it was only Elyx and she had nothing to be afraid of? No, it was probably likely that she thinks all of Shadelle was after her, so for him, why would he be any different. It was her at her current age, who still does not believe that he had quite forgiven her, and this would be the perfect opportunity to strike at her while he back was turned. Admittedly, she did have a point that he could not argue against, if he were in her shoes, it would be rather hard to trust anyone in her current state. What with her being isolated and all. Knocking on her door, he would then suddenly see it swing open. Seems like the enemies needed a way to get in, and the door would open for anyone who just gave it a few love taps. How nice, to torment her and to be able to give her enemies easy access to her house. With that being the case, the dream probably knew that this was where she was hiding, and so he would have to look for her. Placing up Bound Iris in case an enemy was already attacking her, he would looking up to the ceiling, knowing of a second floor. It was a rough ride to get to the top, but it was the only way he had. The boy would run past the living room, the door closing back in the process so that anyone else who wanted to give it a knock could do just that, and then he would look over towards the elevator that her parents made to get to her room. She wanted it done this way so that she could have privacy. It was a wooden platform from a flt barrel held up by a pulley lever, where you pull on the rope to pull up your own weight and the weight of the elevator up. Supposeably anyone could get up there due to simply their weight being the amount of force they are able to exert. Elyx did not believe this to be true, but he hoped it was just for this moment. Placing his boots onto the platform, he would pull onto the rope with all of his strength, and so his body would begin to move upwards so he could enter her room after a few seconds of pulling. It worked, so the dream did not try to tap with this. Mainly because the enemies needed a way to get into her room. With a positive for Elyx came a positive for the enemies. Nice.

Pulling himself up into her room, he would then meet the face of the one he had not seen for a little bit now, Adrelissa, and she was in a panicked state. Jumping into her room, he would see three people already there trying to corner her. But now their attention was turned to him, and so they were going to have to fight him. They did not know which side he was on, being a Lerale mage and all. So he would approach them with the blade at his hand, but nothing that would quite set them off yet. If they were to attack the cornered mage, it would most likely hit her. And so when he got close, he would quickly pierce through the chest of the man in the middle, quickly kicking him away to the second man before he would try to strike at either him or Adrelissa. The third one tried to hold Elyx up in a Nelson hold, only to get elbowed quickly before it became successful. Turning around with Bound Iris in his grip, the Sky Slayer would slice through the throat of that third man. The second one pushed the body off of him before charging over towards Elyx with two fists, each of them with lightning in them. A smile went across the Sky Slayers face, knowing that this man would not win, but at least it was going to be a fair fight. A duel to the death. This sort of death was okay, no actual lives were being taken away, these enemies only belonged to the clients dream, and they did not actually involve any lives. So killing them was like slicing at air, it did not do much unless it would for some reason help you, and in this case, it most certainly did. The man would strike fist with a hook to the cheek. Elyx ducked under the attack before trying to slash upwards. The man was quick on the draw and leaned his head back to avoid the strike aimed for the cheek, a nice dodge, but not enough to save himself from the danger that was the Sky Slayer. He would then slice Bound Iris downwards onto his opponent quickly right after the first failed slice, instantly chopping at the mind of his opponent, thus ending his life quickly and no longer did any enemies bother Adrelissa. It was the end, and now all he had to do was convince his client was safe with him. His light brown eyes would look over to her, and she would look back with a scared facial expression on her face, it was expected. There was nothing that prepared her for a fight, she was merely half-naked, armed with nothing but her fists, if that can even be used well in a dream since it was not really her own. Placing his palm outwards, he would try to help her back onto her feet, then he could try to check her condition. The sky was beginning to lose the red shade that it had previously that could scare any person after a while, the sun was no longer a chaotic black sort of color, but now it returned back to the original color that it had. The men after he had been slain.

She would take his hand as the sky would soon return to normal. To help her with her probably most shameful form, he would place his Bound Iris blade back into the sheathe before then unbuttoning his jacket. He'd then going behind her before wrapping the coating onto her from behind so she did not have to be completely exposed. Upon having this done, she would look at the jacket before then giggling a little bit, it seems like she was no longer afraid of him, but accepted this kind act as a sign that he was not going to try to murder her. Fortunately, that relieved her stress and most importantly, her fears. Once she felt comfortable, Elyx would pull out his sword once again before escorting her over to her drawer, so she may place on a pair of pants. Meanwhile, a smile would be placed on his face, leaving her to change in private as he went down the mechanical elevator to reach the end point of the house, the first floor. It was a nice house after all without the giant shade of red on it, kind of comforting to be back in the home that Adrelissa was in. Her parents were there for her as well, and so they would be eating and laughing together. How they arrived? That was something for the dream to explain. A sudden appearance of his jacket would appear back onto him, seems like Adrelissa took it off and did not need it anymore. Nice, he could have his jacket for the rest of the job and the rest of his life, now he could die happy. And soon, she would drop down from the elevator with a loose shirt followed up with a short pair of pants, just the edged visible. It looked nice on her, it was nice for her to be home. Seems like the job he had here had been fixed, and now it was time for him to drop. His body would tilt back into a limped out state, his lips curled up as sleep would begin to take over his body once again. The vision in his eyes would begin to blur, unable to see anything now due to his tiredness. It was a nice ending for the second day after the half, gave him the peace of mind knowing that he will soon be out of here within eight days. Eight days before he meets the boss, then once that king of the dreams has been slained, the world would be saved and no one has to face off against their nightmares in the real world. If Elyx was going to be one of the dreamers, that would be kind of hard. Then again, he helped Adrelissa with a fear that he shared with her. Then again, he did not fear them as much as she did. Instead however, if he faced off with a dream of a fear that he truly feared, then what exactly was he going to do to end it all? Can he even save himself was the question, he would hope so... Otherwise he would not even get to meet the king of the dreams, and he would have to die along with not having his fear conquered once and for all.
