It was raining in Lavanitir as Kistiñe stood on the dock. She was dressed in long black pants, close-toed shoes, and a jacket. The hood on her jacket, lined with fleece on the inside, was drawn over her head. The were two reasons for the hood--one was to, obviously, keep the rain from falling in her hair...the other was far less apparent. For quite a few days now, the Latina had been acting out of character; she seemed to be off in space, moody at times, and seemed to be snappy when asked about her current condition. She clenched her fists in her coat pockets, taking her left hand out and opening it to look at her palm...it was all because of a stupid dream. A stupid, horrible, terrible dream she had the other night that would not leave her thoughts. She told herself constantly that it was only a dream, only a nightmare conjured up by her mind...why did it feel so real? She conjured a halo in her hand, frowning at it as she did. "Fue sólo un sueño," she whispered, before tossing the disc of light off the side of the pier and watching it disappear into the fog...

Coming up from behind her was actually was Kaisto, the young man had seen her standing there for a while so he decided to address her as he came up and said "Kistiñe?? Are you ok? You've been standing there for a couple of hours now been acting very very strange" he was anxious about this cause he was worried about what she was doing. As he stood there on the dock he had this bad feeling about her right now, he couldn't place his finger on it but she was acting out of place then her usual self, but why, what could be bogging her down so much that she would do a complete 180 on her personality and the way she acted it made NO sense. He blinked and stood there for a while awaiting her to answer him but she was still silent but she was tossing her disc out to the fog but he sighed and waited even more, after a good 10 minutes he started his way over and stopped behind her as he reached out his hand and placed it on her shoulder "Hey are you listening, you need to tell me what's up cause this is getting me worried you know?" and Kaisto wasn't joking at all, he was getting worried that's she wasn't answering him and was acting all dark and anti-social, as stated before she never acted like that at all she was always chipper, and always was sorta the life of the party when Black Rose had parties and big get togethers.

It was true that Kistiñe was the life of the party. It was true that she was generally a hardy soul that was impossible to keep down and out for long, one who was always smiling, laughing, and flirting with her guild mates and fellow mages whenever she could get a chance. It was true that she was one of the liveliest and most colorful members of Black Rose, but the fact of the matter was that she was only human, and sometimes there were moments in human life that were impossible to brush off with a laugh or a witty comment. The Latina was in one of those moments right now. She could not laugh off her anxiety, could not brush off the concerns of her friends and guild mates with a flirty smile and batting her eye lashes, could not make a witty comment about her situation in any shape or form. It was infinitely unnerving to the woman that she could not shake herself out of the scared and depressed slump she was in, and that insecurity came out in the form of moodiness and snappish behavior. She was annoyed by questions constantly--people always asking if she was okay or if she needed to talk about something--when all she wanted at any given time was to be alone, sulk, and think for a little while.
For all intents and purposes, Kaisto was wrong about the amount of time Kistiñe had been standing on the pier. She had wandered aimlessly around the city for several hours before now, and had only been standing on the dock for about fifteen or twenty minutes. That meant one of two things; either her guildmate had a horrible perception of time, or he had been following her the entire time. Although Kaisto wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, she highly doubted that he didn't know how to keep track of how long she had been standing there...more to the point, it annoyed her to think that he had probably followed her all the way here just to ask what was going on when it was probably more than obvious all she wanted was to be alone for an afternoon.
She did not turn around to face her guild mate, instead keeping her brown eyes on the foggy sea in front of her and her hood drawn over her head. Out of all of the people in the guild that could have shown up to bother her about what was happening, why couldn't it have been someone she actually considered a friend?...
"Estoy bien, Kaisto," she said, for once in her life letting ice into her voice, "Solo necesito un tiempo a solas." Was that true? She believed it to be; there were very few people she could freely talk to about anything that she was concerned about, that she could confide in about any number of issues without fear of judgement or rejection; one of them was an ocean away in a far away land, and another was no longer living. "Vuelve al gremio,"

Kaisto didn't budge an inch and looked at her he didn't know much spanish but he knew what she meant "Kistine...i'm not going back to the guild hall, i'm truly worried for ya and wanted to make sure everything was ok, you've been acting strange for days you just gotta tell me and i will try and help" Kaisto was a little annoyed by the fact that Kistine told him to go back to the guild, hey if Kaisto was worried about something his rank as a wizard be damned, he took care of people he cared for, like his guildmates such as Kistine and Kim, and Kaisto truly was concerned about Kistine at the given time.
"But what's ticking me off is that you act like you can handle it by yourself and that you can be able to figure out all on your own when in fact the truth is right in front of you Kistine and you are just to blind to ask people for help" Kaisto was really the noobie of the guild, he hadn't really been there long but did stand out as someone who was willing to put it all on the line to figure out what was wrong, and Kaisto was known to have a bit of patience but to hear him say he was getting ticked off over something so remedial was really rare for him, it showed he was truly concerned for the well being of Kistine despite her attitude towards the subject itself and that attitude was really making Kaisto feel like Kistine didn't trust anyone in the guild to try and help her which made him think that Kistine was hiding a bigger secret.

What was he rambling on and on about? Was it about how she needed help; how she needed to tell him what was wrong? Pathetic. So what if she was acting out of character? It would pass soon enough, and she'd be back to her old cheery and flirty self with little if any evidence that there was anything wrong. She had put on the act around friends and around her guild mates for about a week now; she could keep it up until what bothered her went away...however, as much as she wanted for it to, the fact remained that there would always be something that wasn't quite right inside. The entire reason she had come to the docks was to get away from her guild mates for a couple hours; when did she ever get private time? When did she ever get time to herself to exorcise her demons and fight her own battles? She truly loved other people--she loved being around them and entertaining them, putting smiles on their faces, and generally acting as the one to always put some laughter and relief from everyone else's problems--but she found it impossible to let anyone else have that chance with her own problems. "Cállate," she muttered, but he kept talking.
"Cállate," she said again, her voice becoming louder...but he still wouldn't shut up. Her face was becoming red under her hood, a few tear starting to roll down her cheek. Why wouldn't he just shut his mouth already? It was none of his business what went on inside of her; why couldn't he just butt out? He kept talking. Kistiñe finally snapped and practically screamed, "¡Dejame en paz!" Without even thinking about what was happening, she summoned a bright yellow halo and threw it straight towards Kaisto's face.
