Rowan stumbled into the official Magic Council building located in the Rose Garden. The plasma mage cringed as he noticed the fairly long line that separated him from attaining a passport. With a sigh, he quickly took his place at the back of the line, prepared to wait for awhile. He had hoped to get here earlier to avoid the huge line that he was waiting in, but he had been forced to to a job in Magnolia before hopping on a train to the city of magic. While trains were fast, they weren’t instantaneous, and now Rowan had to deal with his poor decision of not coming early in the morning. Fortunately, however, attaining this passport would definitely benefit him in a lot of ways, especially since he made the resolution to begin practicing his magic more judiciously. The plasma mage was excited to see the world outside of Fiore, although, he knew that he would quickly return to his familiar home. Of course, that would only happen if he managed to get a passport, and from the way it looked, it didn’t look like it was going to happen soon. In the meantime, Rowan supposed he’d take this quiet time to consider his long term situation. At the moment, the mage was without any close friends or allies. This severely limited his choice in jobs, which was why he had been playing tag with children, delivering mail, and other menial tasks. With that in mind, he thought it was best to perhaps invest in some social time, and perhaps he find a new ally to go on jobs with. As these thoughts circulated in his mind, the line moved up a few inches, and Rowan quickly followed, a sigh escaping his lips for the long wait ahead.
An hour later, Rowan was finally able to reach the front of the line, and now he faced the desk clerk in charge of issuing the passports. With some relief, Rowan quickly responded to all of her questions, and she nodded as she wrote them down in various locations on a form. The questions seemed to be the standard necessary information, Name, age, guild, magic, place of birth and so on. Thankfully the process didn’t take too long, and a moment later, the clerk fed the papers into a lacrima machine of some sort. The whole thing shook and a passport quickly popped out the top, landing in the clerk’s hands. She quickly made a finishing stamp in the small booklet, and with that, it was handed to Rowan. The plasma mage took the passport with huge amounts of gratitude before quickly making his escape, the sooner he was out of here, the better. Stepping out of the building, Rowan held his passport in front of him for a few moments before settling in a nice cozy place in his pockets. There was just one more job to do, and then he’d call it a day. Then tomorrow, he’d really get started on being a mage.
