Recruitment(Invite only)

Following co-ordinates provided by her creator and master the machias known as Rosetta piloted the airship to the outskirts of a the town of Oshibana. It seemed an odd choice to land the ship so close to town. It wasn't obvious that the ship was savage skull and it also wasn't obvious she was the living weapon of the guild, but it was still not exactly inconspicuous. However, she was not one to disobey orders and this was where she had been ordered to bring the airship. She did not know the exact reason they had come to the town. All she knew was that Harrigan had spoken of mages he was keeping tabs of and this was the location of one, or at least the last known location.

That was all she knew. She did not know why this person was to be recruited or what they looked like or anything. "Requesting further information on target as well as mission parameters." she stated calmly. and matter-of-factly. There was little she could do without at least some basic information on the target. There was even less she could do without knowing exactly what they were here to do. "Also suggest only the two of us proceed on recruitment. The others would draw too much attention." The uniforms and masks the men wore were very impressive and intimidating, but they also made them stand out. Furthermore, a large group of people walking in together would be very suspicious unless they were transporting goods or something. "Should we enact father, daughter protocol?" In this protocol, which had been programmed into her, she would act the child of the person selected, in this case Harrigan, thus reducing people suspecting she was a threat at all, let alone the biggest threat of all.

As Harrigan turned around to look at the few men that escaped the estate with them, he had to admit. They did stand out. Hell, even if they weren't covered in intimidating armor and helmets, Harrigan was sure that their bloodlust would still cling to them as a visible neon sign.

'You got a point there, very well, you heard her. Set out a perimeter around the ship the moment we land, but besides that do nothing. Shoot nothing, kill nothing, unless necessary. It is of utmost importance that our presence stays as minimal as possible.'

With a nod the men showed that they understood and acknowledged the orders they were given, which brought Harrigan to the next subject to deal with. The reason they were here, information he had yet to share. Until now he still had kept it to himself, only revealing a certain set of coordinates for their newest destination. The reason was simple, until needed, Harrigan had decided any information on potential assets were to be on a need to know basis only.

'Fair enough, since we're close'

As he said that he held out his arm in front of him, forcing the utility magic Archive to take form in a small rectangle shaped screen. Just floating a mere inch above his arm. Then with a swipe from his free hand, he moved the entire screen into the middle of the ship for everyone to see.
On it was the image of a blue haired woman, along side with some vague moving soundless clips that showed her in action. To say the least, those very clips were very impressive. At least impressive to those of Savage Skull. Any other 'sane' person might find it rather repulsive. The other impressive thing was the long list, coming from a dossier, that were her previous masters. Slave owners to be more accurate, meaning that the girl was probably been damaged over her years of 'training' until she snapped.

'Yuki Chimei' said Harrigan out loud 'A young girl, damaged by the very fact that she lost and witnessed her own birth mother burn at the stake. As well as being passed on from master to master, who have given her a far more cruel fate then she could ever expect at such a young and fragile age. Right now, she still isn't affiliated with any other association or guild. Meaning that what we have here, is a freshly grown flower just waiting to be plucked.'

The screen started to switch and turned into a different screen altogether. Gone were the moving videos and walls of texts. Only to be replaced with a different image of her, along with a audio wave track. Which lines bounced as her voice was to be heard. Eerily talking to someone. Playfully scary

'As you can see there is no need for me to explain to you all why I want her. Her last known location was to be in this town, after that nothing. Meaning there is a high chance that she might still be here.'

Unbeknownst to her, Yuki was being tracked by some unsavory fellows that were all the more her type of fun, though she had indeed played out the last few weeks of her time living within this friendly little town. Yuki had taken it upon herself to break away from her usual life for some peace and quiet and while she was here she had done a brilliant display of acting as if she was a normal individual like any of the other civilians.She wasn't wearing her usual dress either, adorned n a bright beige sweater with a pair of long and slender jeans and a white hairband over the silky threads of blue hair, only further proving to blend in with the regulars here. It had helped the others to feel like she was one of them, even though she truly was not.

The usual monotony of that day was broken up when the woman she had been living with - a short and somewhat lean girl by the nae of Mary - had come up to her room to receive her, the both of them had plans to go shopping for the afternoon. With a smile, Yuki told Mary that she would soon be down, and quickly finished what she was doing to head down-stairs and outdoors. Feigning a smile, Yuki head out of the house in hand with the other and slowly took to a walk. Where do they head? well, to the clothes store of course. And that was where she would be when the other two came about the town. Easily distinguishable from the road if someone was to just look into the glass window, she was standing there was Mary tried on a dress.

Rosetta remained silent for a few moments as she processed the information. This wasn't because the target was difficult to process. No, instead it was because of the metaphor that Harrigan had used. WHilst she was programmed to be fairly realistic to a human there was still a lot of learning for her to do and one of those things was processing strange quirks of human conversation. This included metaphors and similies. After a while she spoke. "Should the...flower...refuse to be plucked then should we apply some...weedkiller?" she looked at Harrigan wondering if this was a correct understanding of the metaphor he had used and if her one was appropriate. She would be useless for infiltration if she couldn't mimic humans effectively.

The target would clearly be a useful asset to the Neo Savage Skull. From the information she had received on her birth Savage Skull had been relatively quiet since the leaving of Harrigan and the disappearance of several members including one of their more infamous members Sinali. There was no record of what happened to her. Just that she had vanished. With so few members making big news the 'most evil' of guilds had become far less infamous. That would have to be changed and that was probably why Harrigan had decided to return.

'I think that won't be necessary my dear' replied Harrigan to Rosetta's awfully bad play on words. Honestly Harrigan doubted that Miss Yukei would decline the deal of such a life time, because what he offered her was probably something she couldn't refuse. With her checkered past, what would be more appealing then the very promise of unlimited, endless power.

'Well then, shall we get going' Harrigan reached out his hand, ushering her to take it. And initiate the very protocol Rosetta herself had offered. Which obviously was the best course of action when merging into a town so small as this. Meaning that anything to much out of the ordinary would surely raise suspicion, and that would create the lingering rumors of his appearance. Of him being back again. And that was something he just wouldn't want to have.

The town itself was as mundane as Harrigan expected it to be, it had no worries about the bigger whole of was the world. Just their daily life and the struggles that bring forth. A garden not well tended to, or the different kind of apples that made the bakers apple pie taste different. No this was everything Harrigan rejected, to refuse to become a part of.

'Now Rosetta my dear, where could we possible find our young miss Chimei.'

The two had nowhere else to look than their own nose it seemed, for the woman crossed before both of them as they furthered their agenda throughout the town. Whether or not either of the two would notice her, this woman at-least resembled the very same one on their dossier. The difference in clothing could disguise her well enough, but if either Harrigan or Rosetta were any good at perception they would know. Additionally, they would both be able to sense that this woman was indeed a mage. She continued across to sit down at a road-side cafe' a bit further down, her table was empty save Yuki herself.

As the girl walked past much to her own, and probably Harrigan's surprise, Rosetta broke free of her 'father's hand' and called out to the girl. "Miss miss miss." she said out loud and grabbed hold of the dress. "Daddy wants to speak to you about something important." It wasn't a perfect imitation of a child or rather it was too perfect. It was as if someone had studied children for years   to try to mimic them and did so, but without any little nuances of actual speech. There wasn't really a hint of robotic about her voice, unlike earlier conversation with Harrigan. However, it was just too good. Whether the target would pick this up or not wasn't clear. However, either way her attention would be got and that would allow Harrigan to make his move. Or at least that was her intention.

Clothing and even hair style might of thrown some people off, but all Rosetta needed was an accurate picture to analyse and a brief glance of the fate. Her processors would then process that information at ridiculous speeds to identify the chances of a person being the target. They had several pictures and videos of her so isolating the information of her face, body structure etc was easy. Her calculation put it at 99.82% chance of this being the target.

Now the question was, how would Harrigan persuade her to join the guild and if she didn't accept what would be the best way to take her out. Would it be better to be flashy about it or stealthy. She had several ways to do so and she'd already activated one. It would be near undetectable because it was attached to her clothing and not her. The moment Rosetta had touched the woman a small seal had formed on the dress. It would be barely indistinguishable, but very deadly if she had to activate it. "Its very important."

She wondered how Harrigan would assess her performance so far. Would it meet his expectation or even exceed it? Or would it fail entirely?

As Harrigan approached Rosetta, who had broken free from his hand, he could see the girl he was here for. Sitting at a small time road side cafe, while obviously being disturbed by the theatrical display of Rosetta, who as well was pulling on her dress.

'Miss Chimei I presume?' said the enigmatic Harrigan, while also pulling out a chair. His smile was as always, dripping with arrogance. A conceited smirk, filled with confidence and the obvious self interest at heart.

Harrigan hadn't noticed at first, it was only because of Rosetta and her rather special properties that he had managed to locate her. He had to admit, the woman did know how to blend in, with her clothes being so mundane. But now that he was closer to her, and could see her features up close, she was undoubtedly Yuki Chimei.

'Oh don't give me such a sour look' said Harrigan as the girl gave him a deadly stare. Which maybe was because he was taking a seat without even asking. Which in hindsight was quite rude all things considering. 'I am here with a rather interesting offer. One that might peak your interest'

As Rosetta approached, she would likely notice that Yuki hadn't noticed her approach beforehand, and it wasn't until Yuki took her seat and Rosetta had tugged on her dress that Yki noticed the girl. Listening intently, Yuki would hear this girl out, however she was then approached by the gentleman to who she looked to with a deadly glare, as if to say 'why are you ruining my day?'. When the gentleman said he had an offer for her, however, Yuki was interested into hearing exactly what the older man had to say. She spoke now in a polite dulcet done, "I will listen to your proposal, please.. have a seat."

It seemed that whether or not her act had been 'perfect' or 'too perfect' did not matter. This woman, this target, this, to use Harrigan's term, 'unplucked flower' would listen to the proposal of Harrigan. That was wise. Otherwise the flower would have herbicide applied to it as soon as she got far enough way it would be hard to attribute the death to the young child and her father. Life was a game of chess and in such a game it was always of benefit to plan several moves ahead in multiple directions. However, an advanced machias like Rosetta knew that angles were fractal and each contained more angles which contained more angles. There was no way to predict every scenario. However, the future is like a river that splits into creeks or pools into lakes or careens down waterfalls. Using her mind she was able to work out the most likely scenarios and steer towards the ones that would benefit her objectives most. Still, it was possible for things to go out of control. A sudden storm could blow the ship of fate off course. That is why she prepared for other scenarios.

As Harrigan took his seat Rosetta stood next to him trying to look like an obedient young girl. However, those who observed her would notice her pose was a bit off. It was almost as if rather than standing still she was instead standing poised, a coiled spring that could launch off at any moment. Her arms were crossed and a finger was pointed towards Yuki. A secondary precaution in case she tried anything. Then again if it was magical the seal should have a good effect. After all, when someone affixed with it used magic the magic would be compressed and explode. That was one of the gifts Harrigan had granted her. The power of Rapture.

As she stood there she wondered exactly what the proposal was. Based on the videos and information it seemed this woman would likely side with darkness. However, that didn't mean she would join Savage Skull without some persuasion. Force was one way, but seemed less likely to inspire true loyalty. SO what would he offer her. Rosetta was curious. She was a weapon, but diplomacy could be a weapon as well. This was a good learning opportunity. She was observing body language and listening to words. With luck she would learn something new here and make herself more useful to her master.
